A Prosperous Soul Saturday - Pastor Anthony Greco

[Applause] well that was the most interesting introduction I've ever had it substrates you can take the pulpit out of your mm that looks great good morning everybody how are you good to see you is it great to have Andrew Wommack ministries represented here in Calgary you know we are absolutely delighted to to have you here and so glad so looking forward to every session last night was absolutely rich full of truth it was Jesus centered it was pertinent it was just a great great message and looking forward to everything we have today tomorrow morning both services pastor Greg is going to be ministering and so I'm excited to have in this I just believe this is the beginning of something that we're going to see on a regular basis as we continue to grow and and grow our relationship and we're so excited for those who have traveled from Victoria I believe it was I love the city of Victoria it's that I'm from British Columbia originally and so I I love BC except for the Canucks I don't like the Canucks I the team I don't mind it's the fans know just well it's great to be with you know I got till 10:45 is that my time yeah okay and I want to get ready to I want to begin this morning by you know I've just was my first time meeting John and Abby and many of you don't know this but John is actually a professional chef he trains chefs so I had to find some kind of because we like making fun of all nationalities here and if you know and listen if you hang here long enough I will offend your particular race don't worry we just we just think that it's just that if you love people it's okay you know and I'm Italian I've Italian citizenship I met my wife in India and she's from Sweden we got engaged in Nigeria and we got yeah it's a long story when I when I met her I met her in India we were doing missions work day I was working with a Canadian evangelist and we were out there and as soon as I saw her I was really interested because she was taller than me and I know honestly it's true because when I was traveling and preaching in Sweden I was remembering this one church in young shipping which was her hometown by the way and I I remember I wrote in the pastor's guestbook you know because I was a single man at that time and I said I want to marry a Swedish girls 2-year bible school blond hair blue eyes and at least 170 centimeters tall I'm 164 and I guess I'm already two tallest in my family matter of fact I am the tallest in my village from Italy I've taken my family there and I've walked through the little street the via San Bartolo and Mendocino and I'm walking around and I'm going like this and pointing to all my relatives my like to my kids looks you know anyway I'm the shortest in my family now but I I was the tallest but anyway so I wanted to marry a taller girl so when I saw Milan I was interested and I watched the way she cast out Devils in the villages we don't to preach and finally one day I just had to were sitting at a table and I put my feet on top of hers because the Bible tells me that wherever my soles of my feet tread upon that I have given you says the Lord so she was mine at that point so she was not interested in me because I was too short and I remember one time it you know I pursued her for nine months like if I was flying to Pakistan to do missions I'd go to Stockholm because that's just you know the way the flights go and I'd show up it I would show up at her work and it was quite funny because today I mean we call that I mean I was pursuing her today they call that stalking but ever one time we're sitting in a we're sitting in a in a mall and I just told her I said look girl I said I'm just going to tell you right out right now you have only two answers it's yes now or yes later but it's going to be yes and she started to laugh I thought it was the Holy Spirit giving her a witness but evidently it wasn't she was I could never marry you I said why she says because you're too short I said I am NOT she was well how tall are you and I said how tall are you she said I'm a hundred and seventy centimeters I check that on the box that's the one and as I said that's complete now I have my witness and I said well I'm taller than you she because you are not taller than me how tall are you I said inside or outside because I'm a lot taller on the inside then I'm on the outside anyway she's not here today which is why I'm telling the story she's up in that one of my boys is in a handball tournament so but she'll be back tonight hopefully and depending how well they do and here tomorrow but I hope you stick around for tomorrow of those who are visiting we'd love to host you so I just thought about I was thinking about a joke just to start so here's one about heaven and hell and I think John you like this heaven is where the police are British the chef's Italian the mechanics German the lovers French and it's all organized by the Swiss hell is where the police are German the chefs are British the mechanics are French the lovers are Swiss and it's all organized by the Italians all right well well let's get right into the message that I just you know it's the morning service and and I just thought I would begin by telling a story of something that happened that and I'm here's what my goal is to tell you a story and then I'm going to give you three points of the message and an illustration at the end that I hope that will forever be embedded on the inside of you that next time you read to open up the scripture it's like spiritual mirror you're going to be reminded of who you really are and who Christ is in you okay last night I thought pastor Greg delivered such an amazing message about the prosperous soul is one that rests in Christ there was so much stuff that could be unpacked there was a fantastic message if you weren't here encourage you to get a hold of the CDs or whatever however is going to be available but it's so important so I just thought I would just bring it down to Jesus a little bit more this morning and so on it tells your story and I want to tell you first of all about this book that ever I had to buy another copy because I couldn't find my copy I think I gave it away this book here by Andrew Wommack you've already got it is one of my absolute favorite books because the truth in there is something that needs to be foundational for every person well I was on an airplane traveling to do missions at their missions for many many years and I just was reading this book and I loved it it was like you've already got it you can see the picture of the dog chasing his own tail so as I'm on the airplane to a missions trip I'm reading the book and the truths of this are just a you know confirming in my spear like this exactly where is so I ended up taking a team we go down to Managua Nicaragua number of years ago to do an outreach group of pastors they called me they said listen we want to do a pastors conference but we want you to come in you got a signs and wonders evangelist a gifting so we want you to do the crusade we're going to do that in the in the plazas of the revolution revolución square in the capital city of Managua I said absolutely and then so they did the pastor's conference and so I sat there with my team in the morning and I you know it's my first time working with this group and so they were a little bit different so the first service they brought in clay pots and they gave everybody hammers and I was watching this and they proceeded to tell everybody to smash a clay pot it was symbolic prophetically symbolic of new wine goes into new wineskins was about breaking the old wineskins and i thought ok ok that's alright and so you know it's a nice little way to start nice little you know picture nice little illustration but then the next service they they had a run bring bring sticks and they started to bang sticks and it was of the story when Elijah said you know strike your arrow on the ground and you should have you know smoke five or six times now you only have three victories and then the next one it was like they were anointing people with water because they're crossing the Jordan and the next service they anointed them with oil the next service they anointed them with wine and everything was prophetic symbolism prophetic symbolism I mean it was like two and a half days of all of this yay someday it's going to come it's going to happen the revival and they're going on and on I mean it got really sensational like I don't know I wanted to hire their creative department because they could put on these great productions everything was there's prophetic symbolism about one day you know and then at the very last service after two and a half days of this they anointed they made like a tunnel and of people and they had water bottles and as people walk through I'm telling you the truth they squirted everybody with the water bottle because this was them crossing the Jordan and the word was yay three days from now the Lord will work wonders and and at the end of all I mean I mean these and these meetings went on for hours like they're long this and I love the prophetic the real prophetic ministry okay I just want to clarify that so at the end of all this I look at all these exhausted people that were wet and filled with wine stains and you know and full of oil and hammers and broken shards of pottery everywhere they said now for the final session with brother Anthony please come and share a message I had just read this book so I got up there and I said I had a little dog when I was growing up in Cranbrook and his name was Snoopy and my dog would get so happy when I would come home that he would run in a circle you know just go wild chasing his own tail and I said my and I said my dog Snoopy reminded reminded me of this entire conference I said let me tell you about my dog Snoopy I said he the three things I noticed about him was that he got very tired he got very dizzy and he never got what it already had and I said that's exactly what this conference is all about you're running around in circles trying to get what Jesus has already freely and abundantly provided through you through the finished work of the cross needless to say I was never invited back but it gets even better so I mean all the pastor's took me aside after how dare you I just preach defeat we're blessed with every spiritual blessings in heavenly places how many know you are complete in Christ Christ lives in you so I had it out with the pastor's they were angry and and I just said now tonight in the in the plaza of the revolution you know I said in that Square that's my meeting I said I don't want any of this while we were going to have a intercessory prayer meeting before I said you can do whatever you want in the morning and the afternoon but at seven o'clock when it's my time I said you are forbidden to do anything on that platform they said okay okay okay they lie I show up with my team I kid you not they started bringing stones big massive stones that they brought in from every province of Nicaragua from the surrounding nations from Costa Rica and from you know El Salvador and subletting from Mexico and they brought a stone like somebody put that in a suitcase and they marched up holding these massive stones and they would put them in the center and they started to build an altar and while they're building this altar there is somebody over here blowing the shofar which sounds like an animal dying and then occur I just and I'm like I'm sitting there and this is the truth my son gable was there some of the team I I wish I was kidding you they're blowing shofars and the building this altar and then they're anointing the altar with wine with all this and I'm Italian the poor why not like that on the ground so they're pouring all this stuff and guys you're blowing chauffeured then they started to release the dogs so they have people now but the problem was they had clipped the wings of the dava so when they threw the dove up which was symbolic of the holy spirit they kind of spiraled to the ground and then the dogs and the kids talked them I'm just glad PETA wasn't there because there'd be all kinds of demonstrators running around naked they would have an awful thing ugly so I'm watching this and I'm just like cringing because we got thousands of people out there and what made it worse was the the the coordinating pastor got up there and said now that we have made this declaration of unity now that we have built an altar now that we have killed innocent doves now that we've blown the shofar now because we've done this now God will work miracles on this in the square today well I couldn't I looked at my team and I said they went old testament on us we're gonna go Old Testament let us go up into the high places and tear down the altars which they have built so I grabbed my team and we went up there and we threw down every stone I mean it was like we just threw him on the ground I said it's done and I began I just told my said listen if miracles will happen here today because the Word of God is priest and Jesus works with us confirming the word not because of an altar or oil or dobbs or shofars or all this prophetic prophetic symbolism because we're no longer in the shadows we are living in the substance of Jesus come on so anyway I mean I watched those pastors were furious you know I have never been back to Nicaragua after this events but you know what that night I just felt I had to preach Jesus Christ the same yesterday today and forever and I begin by saying a lot of people they focus on the Jesus of yesterday's historical figure others are talking about the end days and the Antichrist and and the seven-year tribulation and whatever and I said I'm here to say that Jesus Christ is the same today and forever and if you will come to Jesus today like people in the word came to Jesus you can have the same miracle because he is the same well I tell you I have never preached under a stronger more powerful anointing like I did that night I'll never forget it I watched the lady come out of a wheelchair another lady had a tumor the size of a football and it just vanished I mean that platform was filled with miracles can somebody give Jesus a shout in the house by the end of the second night we had thousands of people coming to Christ and all those pastors avoided me like a plague but by the end of the last night we were sitting in the in the in the house of the efficient minister of the official representative official opposition of the government as he threw a big banquet for us in our team come on God turned it around so I started I was thinking about that story and I was thinking about that I thought okay well we can make fun of you know it's not really funny but we can look at that but I'm concerned about what's happening in North America and we're going to talk about the from the book of Colossians in the title of this message is the Colossus of Colossians and a colossus means larger than life because in Paul's day when he writes to the Colossians he was facing the same thing there was something happening called syncretism it was a it was a mixture it was that they had some Jewish law like you had to keep the law you had to be circumcised aren't you glad that we're in this we understand grace over could you imagine the altar calls in those days all right if you want to come to Christ come up here we're going to circumcise you right here right now like no wonder the men sat outside the parking lot and they want to come in and you know we get up there right now the wives yeah we just ask you to pray a prayer maybe come to the front I mean that's another message okay so what happened then what's that so what you know paused it was syncretism there was a lot of mysticism on focus on spiritual experiences Oh worship of angels the hierarchy of angels and and there was Gnosticism that whole teaching was gnostic meaning that spirit was good flesh was bad so the issue was what about Jesus how could Jesus be God and be flesh because the Spirit is good flesh is bad there was teachings on asceticism where you had to you have to treat your body rough you had to beat your body to be holier to mortify the deeds of the flesh so you have this teaching of legalism you had to keep the law you have this this mystic focus of having supernatural experiences and dreams and visions and the worship of angels then you have this this idea that flesh is bad and spirit is good and that how could how could Jesus he couldn't have been the creator because you know he couldn't be God in flesh because flesh is bad and you know and they had this idea of a whole hierarchy of angels and you had to worship your way through all these it was a very mixture and I look at that and I look in North America today let me tell you there's still a whole lot of syncretism and a whole lot of mixture being preached in a lot of churches today can I hear a good a man and so today I want to just bring it right back down and just bring it to the person of Jesus because Paul is addressing this you realizes that when we get disconnected from the source from the head then that's where we begin to to Peter out you take the coach away from the team or the captain you know there's at all you know the team flounders it's like the old Arab proverb II said you know an army of lambs you know led by a lion will always beat an army of lions led by a lamb it's about the leadership being being connected with the head so you take an electrical appliance you unplug it it's lost its power it can't do anything so weathers for leadership or power or life our connection to the source is absolutely vital can I hear a good amen so Paul is writing about this whole asceticism and he wants to set the record straight and so in Colossians he begins to begins to write to them because to the Colossians the result of that whole syncretism teaching was that Jesus was not the big deal he was just one he was just he wasn't the one he was just one up right yeah Jesus is good by oh you gotta you gotta have the Angels and you oh you gotta you gotta can't eat that and touch that and it was all you know so Jesus was one of and not the one so Paul writes to the Colossians and he says you know what let me just bring you right back to your center because how many know that Christ is more than enough so let's look at and who better to really address this who better to to communicate this matches the Apostle Paul who had that experience with Jesus on the Damascus Road so my first point is this I got three points I got twenty minutes how many believe in miracles here this morning all right all right my first point he's the Colossus in in creation so Paul begins by saying in chapter 1 verse 15 to 17 he says about Jesus he is the image of the invisible God the firstborn over all creation for by him all things were created that are in heaven that are on earth visible and invisible whether Thrones or dominions or principalities or powers all things were created through him and for him and he is before all things and in him all things consist everyone say he is before all things and in him all things consist now notice the order so first of all he is before all things and in him all things consist or they stick together you know and I've discovered that that when you put Jesus before all things when you approach your finances from Christ first and all of a sudden things stick together there's a supernatural power that's in operation when you honor God for in your finances all of a sudden there's there's all things stick they're coming Oh in your relationship when you put Christ first and you begin to live out of that life of grace that you have in Jesus that all of a sudden that lifts the level and experience of your relationship so it is before all things this is the pattern you put Christ before all things before your business before your parenting it's all about living out of the abundance that fullness that we have in Jesus amen and in him all things consist so if things are unraveling in your life if things aren't really working out maybe you just need to spend some time and you know take to heart with pastor Greg ministered last night about just come sit at the feet of Jesus you know you know Mary in Martha remember you know you know she's chosen the best thing and that which he's chosen will not be taken away from her it's about coming back and taking upon the yoke of Jesus can I hear a good amen so this is there's a big difference between having Christ in your world and Christ being your world you know as it's the whole time we know that Christ has been made unto us righteousness sanctification he is your righteousness he is your standing before the Father amen big little you know you know I that hole that verse Romans chapter 1 verse 16 I'm not ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God and the salvation a powerful verse it is the but we don't pray the power down I remember when I was in Bulgaria a number of years ago and we flew into Sofia my wife and I and we had been delayed in Germany probably because the Italians had organised the flight and so we were we were late we arrived in Sofia this guy named Igor puts us in his car and you know he says come on you got to get to Pleven you got a unit preach and so you know usually I like to arrive a day before and pray and kind of get a feel for the people walk the streets and kind of just you know get it just kind of get the people in my heart before I go to minister but we got on the card we start flying down the highway and it was a divided highway and our our side of the road had potholes galore the other side had freshly been paved so my driver Igor turns around and says something in Bulgarian Dada Slaven iboga whatever and he crosses the divide and gets on the other because and it's freshly paved it's smooth but the only problem is it's going the wrong way he rides like all these cars are coming this way and he's honking the horn he's got the wipers going he's flicking his license and he's looking back at us like because by this point a spirit of travail had come upon my wife and I you ever have those moments where it's tough to pray that was an easy moment to pray we were cold a little bit I mean it was just it's just fluff three hours later we arrived we arrived in Pleven and I'm just like I'm shaking right I don't feel the peace of God I don't I don't feel like I've been in the presence that my heart's prepared and I'm ready to minister so I go into the hotel and I go in through the back door and I throw myself on the on the bed and I and I'm just like you know praying in tongues and there's a knock at the door and it's the pastor they said come on you know that the center square has failed you got to come right now so we we get out we got in the car we couldn't get to this platform because there was about 40 to 50 thousand people that had packed the center square people were on monuments they were on rooftops and and so we had to walk and so I'm walking through the crowd and I'm excuse me we're working away like this because it was packed so I get on the platform and stood up they're not looking at this crowd of 40,000 people I do not feel ready to preach one bit so I get under the platform throw myself on the ground and I start going a little bit uh try to stir myself up trying to get my you know you my emotions trying to get into past and I just felt the Holy Spirit speak me what are you doing I said what I'm trying to get stirred up I'm trying to you know pray the putt and he just said we said son my gospel is the power of God and the salvation River believes you don't need to stir it up you don't need to pray it down you just need to speak it out come on somebody I tell you I got up because I got up from my face one of the platform I stood up and I preached and God began to confirm his word before I even got a chance to pray for the sick I remember this old man coming up on the platform with two canes and he started to dance and swing them as Jesus and healed him of his arthritis in both of his hips come on somebody give Jesus a shout so he says he goes on we couldn't be done to move on here I'm still my first point and I got 40 minutes he is before all things and in him all things consist is he is he in your life or is he your life it's a good question it's like I have espresso machine at home see he he is the creator of all things he created you he created me I've got this wonderful espresso machine at home and Italian and I'm addicted it's one of my addictions and so I you know anyway it wasn't working and so what did i do whatever i do with my espresso machine would stop working you know I could bring them to a psychiatrist and I could see my espresso machine on the couch you know saying I don't know who my dad is I don't know if he's mr. coffee or Philips and my mom is a tea bagging why am I such a drip I don't get it you know I I mean no you take you take her you know I had tea problems last year I didn't go I didn't go to my to my mechanic you don't take your teeth to a mechanic and you don't take your car to a dentist you know if you you have to bring so what I did with my with my espresso machine I brought it back to the manufacturer why is that the manufacturer knows everything about it he you know it was so funny because when I when I called he said can you put it through can you just press the start button and put the phone let me hear it because I can I can hear by the sounds what's wrong with it like I mean through the phone they were able to diagnose I mean I thought that was just so incredible and now let me tell you you got a creator who knows everything about you come on and his name is Jesus when you got a challenge or an issue in your life you know Jesus said as we heard last night from Matthew chapter 11 verse 28 he said all of you that are tired and burned out he didn't say go get therapy he said come to me and when you got challenges you need Jesus come on he's more than enough and so what Paul was saying to the Colossians because they believed it was Jesus and some religious law Jesus and some mysticism Jesus and some special revelation Jesus and some angels pulse comes in there with his big battle axe of the gospel and just chops out all those weeds and says he is more than enough for you and I and if you got a challenge go back to your Creator it's like it's like this light bulb how many know this light bulb when it's not connected doesn't shine when it's plugged into its source it begins to light up hey man now this is not a magic trick I'm not going to make it light up but you know it but when it's not plugged in is there's no light there's nothing happening you know the Bible says in him was life and that life was the light of all man and when Christ is your life then you're plugged in and you're connected you begin to shine but if you don't know the purpose of the lightbulb you might try to use it as a hammer and how many know you're going to destroy it and so the key is open up your your operations manual known as the Word of God find out who you are learn about your Creator get plugged in so you can begin to shine the light of Christ in the dark areas of your life come on somebody all right I just put this down I'm afraid I'm gonna go to my next illustration soon all right that's the first point let's move on let's move on to the let's move on to the second point number one he is he is the colossus of creation he's your Creator he knows how to fix you like nobody else like no pastor like no counselor like no therapist like no doctor jesus knows everything about you because he made you my second point he's Colossus or larger than life when it comes to to cavalry can I hear a good a man you know and this is where I love the teaching on the finished work of the cross because I grew up Catholic so I grew up feeling guilty all the time right is that a venial sin or a mortal sin and how many Hail Marys and some of you know y-you have the sin consciousness right your God I remember my cousin Elio had gone to confession on a good Friday you know what before Good Friday and so we were the church you know if you ever gone to Catholic confession there's a line up especially on those special days coming up like Christmas and Easter sighs you know I'm talking about so we were all lined up and we were lined up really close to the little closet that you go in my cousin Elio goes in his dad Giovanni is right outside and he's like Father forgive me for I have sinned spent three months since my last confession and he starts confessing his sins I stole $20 from my dad's wallet I lied to my mom and we're watching Giovanni's face go red like a tomato the priest may have absolved him of his sins but all Giovanni executed the penalty for don't you love the finished work of Jesus listen to Paul first of all brings back says Christ is your Creator he is the East the visible image of the invisible God everything there is to know about God you find in Jesus when you seeing Jesus you seen the father in verse 13 Colossians he says he has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the son of his love in whom we have redemption through his blood the forgiveness of sins look at the tensed past tense he has delivered us I've good news for you you are delivered it's been done at the cross by Jesus you're in the kingdom of his son you have redemption through his blood you are already forgiven God was in Christ Paul says you know there's five Gospels in the New Testament Matthew Mark Luke and John scribe did they describe what happened at the cross through the natural eyes of course inspired of the Holy Spirit Paul's gospel is the fifth gospel he looks through the eyes of Revelation and tells us what was happening in Christ at the cross you know Matthew Mark Luke and John said they put the nails in the hands they put the spear on the side Paul gives us a little over an insight he says that God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself not imputing there you know the sins against them but you know but he that knew no sin became sin that we might be made the right of God in Christ Jesus God was in Christ reconciling us forgiving the world listen the world is forgiving not saying the saved because they got to accept the reconciliation but according to God's ledger the world has been forgiven of its sin then he goes on to say verse 20 and he made peace through the blood of his cross I mean we got peace to the blood of the Cross and then it says in verse 22 in the body of his flesh through death to present you holy and blameless above reproach did you know that you stand before the Father holy and blameless and without reproach that's your standing hey my head you know romans 1:16 it says for I'm not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God we don't pray it down or work it up as I said we speak it out but then the next verse Paul says he says for in it the righteousness of God is revealed I remember how that hit me one day because the way I lived my Christian life in the early days was that the for in the gospel the righteousness of God was achieved I thought if I prayed enough if I went to church enough if I read my Bible enough and if I gave enough and if I jumped enough and if I did all these things and if my thoughts were pure enough and my motives were pure enough then I would achieve a righteousness but how many know that righteousness is not works righteousness it's faith righteousness it's not achieved through works if it is in the gospel is the righteousness of God revealed it's a revelation what kind of righteousness the righteousness of I mean if I had the righteousness of you know pastor Greg Moore I'd be pretty happy the righteousness of God you have been made the righteousness not of Billy Graham or Mother Teresa but the righteousness of one of the things one of the prophetic words that came out of that in Guatemala from a conference I heard it's very good and I'm prepared Finnick where was this God was saying my people act like they don't even know me all right let's move on the finished work look at chapter 2 verse 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us which was contrary to us and he has taken it out of the way having nailed it to the cross Wow don't you love the finished work of Jesus my last point wasn't meant to close and giving you the Coles Notes version first point is he's Colossus and creation second point he's Colossus at Calvary at the cross he said it is finished it's a finished work you were made the righteous of God in Christ Jesus you've been forgiven all trespasses past present and future someone say thank you Jesus and the third point is and this is what I want to bring - he is Colossus in you in Colossians chapter 1 verse 19 for it pleased the father that in him all the fullness should dwell how many know that all the fullness of the Godhead dwell in Jesus so good and then in chapter 1 verse 27 it says to them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of the mystery remember they were all into mysteries they're all about having special insight Gnosticism you know especially revealed knowledge and there was this elitism and I'm more spiritual than you because I saw six angels in that service and they had all of this hierarchy and all of this nonsense going on like like very much we have a lot of charismatic churches today if I could just say all right I used to be one of them hahahaha and then he goes on and says so now this is the mystery oh I'm sure when they saw that word mystery their ears peered up oh yes what's the mystery and so here Paul declares the mystery in verse 27 and this is the the glory of the mystery among the gentiles which is christ in you the hope of glory then in verse 9 chapter 2 he says for in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily and you are complete in Christ in him who is the head of all principality and power how many know that you are complete in Christ I I got three minutes so I'm just going to get right down to my little illustration here and so I just thought this one I just hope that next time you open up the scriptures you look in the mirror you're gonna be reminded of this so I don't know if you can see this on the on the camera but I drew a little stick figure that's representative you or me short dark and handsome just so happy hahaha but the hands are in the air praising God being happy because you're at Andrew Wommack you're a Karras ministry weekend so that's amazing so so there so that's that's who we are so I just thought this whole thing about the in Christ reality is absolutely vital in Colossians chapter three first three verses listen to what Paul says and note the verb tense by the way it's fugitives it's not futuristic it's passed it says if you then were raised with Christ if you then were how do we know that when Christ was raised you were raised with him if you then were raised with Christ seek those things which are above where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God where are you sitting right now I Got News for you you're not sitting in Calvary Life Church you are seated at the right hand of God right here right now and it says set your mind on the things above not on things on the earth for you died and your life is hidden with Christ in God had a great picture what you look like some people say well I don't know that Jesus ever teach this in Christ reality well actually he did this is not just something that Paul made up and thought was really cool but if you look in John chapter 17 I'm going to read verse 11 and then 21 to 23 it says this so Jesus is doing is high priestly prayer so let me see so I have I kind of colored it so it kind of helped the illustration to a fish just because it does Jesus Christ God's Son Savior so that's Jesus and then I thought well okay and you know here's the father so I drew a heart alone can you see that it's a heart there all right that's the father and then I drew a dove as best I could with full wings not clipped and death and just want to make sure you saw that and so there's the Holy Spirit now so here we have so we have Jesus doing the high priestly prayer and let me put this right up here where you can see this I want you I want you to watch this so Jesus is explaining who we really are now and so he says this in verse 11 now I am no longer in the world that these are in the world he's speaking about us and I come to you Holy Father okay and Holy Father keep through your name those whom you have given me that they may be one as we are one okay so so they are one so he wants us to be one as they are one and then he says that in verse 21 he says that they may be one as you Father here's the Father are in me okay oh the father is in Jesus okay as you Father are in me and I am in you okay I get it wrong alright so are you seeing the one is this is Jesus is in the father and the father is in Jesus are we okay with that well let me back up a bit how many know the Holy Spirit that he received that Jesus received the spirit without measure so the Spirit was upon and within Jesus so you could go like this because you know the Holy Spirit is upon Jesus and you know and vice versa Jesus is in the spirit and spirits in Zurich and he says I am in the father and the father is in me are you following okay all right that's it you're going to find out where you are it's one of those it's that old Cup game you know where's the believer where's the paper is that your father are in you Father are in me and I in you that they also that's us may also be one in us that the world may believe you said right when we as the church discover this is who we are the world will have an awakening because there's no longer about religion but about the fullness and the completeness that we have in Jesus Jesus is you know amen father thank you for this time together and lord I just pray by your spirit just deal this word god we thank you come on we just raise our hands begin to think of right now father where's you're so thankful for the revelation of the Holy Spirit of Christ in us the hope of glory father I thank you that healing isn't us prosperity is enough peace is in us righteousness is in a sanctification is in us grace is in us because Christ is our life so father thank you for the incredible revelation of the fullness and the completeness that we have in Jesus a man
