A message to American Airlines

you're gonna be from the age in here now but she's gonna make an announcement we are gonna be planing so I'm gonna let her take it from ill point again we do apologize for this inconvenience here and again we do apologize for this inconvenience here ladies and gentlemen at this point I think what we're gonna do is we're gonna have everybody gather their belongings and deplane the aircraft until I get word of a new aircraft or a new flight deck crew once again everybody please gather their belongings I will need everybody on the aircraft [Music] I wasn't gonna walk but this is too funny we start on the flame for three hours then they are supposed to get off what the plans are is going to be if we're going to change the brain if awaiting further improve we have no idea yet we're waiting for the information and as soon as we receive it we will make further announcements Thank You Chuck the 31 is where the new aircraft that curve is you will be departing estimated at 10 p.m. this evening once again the 31 I'm just following the herd I have no idea what regard with Santa playing boards in 11 minutes I'm not buying that for a second we just got off the other plan Wow what do you know 45 minutes later not 11 minutes later they tell us that the plane hasn't even arrived yet and they can't give us an estimation until the plane gets to the gate which is probably going to be a couple hours but they're not kind tell us that why would that this is what airlines do they don't tell you anything no one ever documents it I'm actually happy at my camera me that probably gonna be a very funny night it's already hilarious what's happened play was at 7-7 the plane for an hour and a half and they tell us to get off an hour and a half later see what happens tensions are high boy everybody's pissed off I'm walking around like a freaking zombie but I did have some snacks oh that's okay I'm not mad the flights delayed happens but it's your job to be nice to people that'll tell you anything Wow really makes you appreciate like JetBlue and all those other people that take care of you so huh I'm not mad whatsoever that we have to wait three hours I will say though I've always had a bad experience in American Airlines the planes are from like the 40s customer service yeah some nice people and they never tell you what's going on very good feeling that's gonna be a very long night I have an American Express and they do have a lounge here but it's probably a 15 minute walk and I don't know if I'm gonna hear the gate see in five [Music] I'm sorry you'd have to go to the service center and talk to the agent [Music] they'll oh l status update she basically just said I have time here to the American Express lounge because the 10:45 sign they have posted on the gate is not true and if that were the case I wouldn't have enough time to go to the American Express tops 50 minutes away so another misleading information my hunch is that we don't leave till 12:30 a.m. they gotta find pilots which brings me to my next point why don't you just let us go home pay for our hotel tell us the flights not gonna leave till tomorrow they just feel guilty telling us so they lead us in this wild goose chase for the next six hours for the greatest of news sexy is it good am i dying close call almost half slice I gotta take a train to go to the American Express line they didn't even tell me that why would they so I gotta walk another ten minutes back to the gate I'm so okay yeah I'm carrying a suit padrone backpack phone and this friggin camera somebody better be offering got kid free snacks when I get to that mall Hungate they would never do that think no I'm good thanks No not doing it now I'll walk good the same aboard in three minutes we 1016 [Music] [Music] you just said the flights delayed till 6:00 a.m. not canceled what's that mean we get our money back just too late 6a almost my cool back there let's run through a few things they told us that the pilot's seat was broken then they said a new plane was on the way then they said new pilots were on their way and they said those pilots went to go to bed then they said they're gonna keep everybody's bags overnight so if you had clothes shampoos snacks this is a line to get the hotel view third cancellation today fourth on American the flame crazies piss cooking fires they were sniffers nobody there 45 minutes well you have a long line we missed our acting like that's the other one left later than this one just what's ever going on here yeah I'm not waiting into flying anymore I'm gonna go better we're gonna be here for two hours anyway right guys yeah see in the morning American airline you're great for the day negative for what up dude thanks man I'm really not upset about the way I knew I knew this was gonna happen American Airlines clean yourself up a little bit terrible performance terrible well about second chances and stuff that was like your fourth fifth sixth seventh time that I've had a horrible horrible experience customer service terrible to do you get have good snacks though I got a Snickers bar that was about the best thing you guys did tonight it's four dollars but it was God okay cool so I'll just email them okay great we've been very helpful thank you [Music]

Everyone saying that this happens with all Airlines isn't wrong but you can have a better experience dealing with the same issues with different airlines. Everyone handles issues differently. I've never had an issue with JetBlue and will continue to use them whenever I can. Him saying American Airlines is crap isn't wrong. You have to take everything that happens into account before during and after your flight. These things are what make all the difference when problems do start to arise.

I live in Charlotte, one of their hubs, so I don't get a choice unless I want to connect (yea right). AA is basically a budget airline with real airline prices.
