A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EPIDEMIOLOGIST | PUBLIC HEALTH PROFESSIONAL | REALISTIC WORK DAY

[Music] so [Music] uh [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so hey everybody welcome and welcome back for another day in the live video of an epidemiologist as you saw earlier i had just gotten to the office and then i had to check my emails do my to-do list and then i headed out to a meeting that was about an hour and 15 minutes lots of information to consume so what i'm going to do right now is do some case reviews and then i have another meeting in about an hour so i am pretty much in meetings all day today and i am just looking at my calendar on my computer as well so just wanted to come on and say that i hope you guys enjoy this day in the life and don't forget to like comment and subscribe [Music] [Applause] [Music] of these cases so that's now recorded [Music] okay so now that i am on my lunch break i need to go to target i have to take off my nails y'all what a waste of money they were lifting pretty much last week so about a week after the wedding my nails were lifting i'm going to go to target to get a nail file to buff them out a little bit and get a nail hardener so that on friday i can just get maybe dip powder or an acrylic over my real nails i'm going to a totally different place and hopefully this is a better experience for me yes so [Music] all right everyone so this is the shrimp temporal that i got from publix hey everyone so i just got off my lunch break and i am getting ready to log on making sure i was needed i'm getting ready to log on to a another meeting okay and i am going to be on this for a very long time this is pretty much a training from about 1 pm until 4 pm so that is pretty much what my the rest of my afternoon will consist of the meeting is to provide technical assistance respectively we will highlight evaluation and pre-recording activities cluster detection and response and facilitate a listening [Music] so [Music] [Music] all right so hi everyone i just got out of that meeting and it was so long so right now i'm just taking a break like a wuza moment to get some fresh air it's almost time for me to leave so yeah i'm just going to relax a little bit and enjoy a little bit of nature so i pretty much just finished my 15 minute break and i am going to go ahead and look at my calendar for tomorrow just to check my to-do list and to get a head start and wrap my mind around what i have to do for tomorrow also tomorrow after work is the new start of the summer semester and i will be taking a class or two but for sure one class and that class is tomorrow once i get off work so that's pretty much what i'm going to be doing for the remainder of my time here and then i am also going to go ahead and sanitize my office before i leave [Music] so [Music] so [Music] so you guys my one of my co-workers gave me a piece of her plant so i am slowly but truly becoming a plant mom and i am going to get a pot for this and some soil tonight after work so next time you see this plant hopefully i've come up with the name and it is thriving so wish me luck [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] all right everyone so thanks so much for watching and i hope you have enjoyed this day in the life of an epidemiologist and please don't forget to like comment and subscribe for more videos and if you have any questions as always please drop them down below thanks for watching [Music] bye
