my name is Cecilia and I live on svalbard an island close to the North Pole two years ago I quit my job to become a full-time content creator and I often show you what my dates look like [Music] so today you are going to hang out with my Mountain Man and boyfriend Christoffer and see what a day in his life looks like while I do all of the content creation myself which takes a lot of time Christopher takes care of everything else good morning I just woke up it's 8 30 and the weather is nice defeated they're defeated so this is morning spring svalbard fresh Breeze today it's uh nine minus Celsius not cold not warm but it's a little bit windy and the wind is quite cold so I'm gonna go in and put some clothes on I cut these nails like every three weeks four weeks in the winter time we have them a little bit longer because it's so much ice thank you but at that moment it's not true that's not clear sure yeah come on come on that's it so we need to have some blinkies for game when it's running I need to see him when we run come on it's off no so bro that's going to be in new these shoes are polar Lobben Norwegian brand warm and nice I bought them on kjøp och salg Longyearbyen it's a site for second-hand stuff I paid 400 crowns for them oh [Music] my God ceremony routine is I'm running green for about five kilometers takes about between half an hour or one hour it depends I'm gonna go and pick up some five liter containers to fill up with water so we have home to drink foreign machine so now we bought Nespresso so we're gonna have this one until we find a new machine that we want to buy so I have to go to town and try to find some good tasters I don't even drink coffee that much Mission Impossible I always take a look at see if there's something on sale but today no nothing I asked if I can feel some water and I was okay [Music] thank you now it's breakfast time and the post office and a little bit more shopping thank you foreign [Music] foreign [Music] the month where I shot my shots the batteries on the boat I do that maybe three four times a year four times is if you count the first time you take up the boat and now when the light is coming the solar panel is going to chart it up so this is probably the last time I'm going to charge up the batteries and uh the Eco flow works really good for this and I can see already on the shoulders that the batteries are are quite full so are probably in five hours gonna be already 100 percent [Music] [Music] foreign so I'm going to take it in Swedish because if we're going to take it in English it's so difficult to find the words that foreign this is what Supply bot so before Alexa foreign foreign it's a bit windy out today so I've been out and now it's tea time and sitting here and warm up a bit and then I'm going out to dig out one of the wooden sleds that been snowed down since since the last storm he was here so one is out and I have one more to go so that's what I'm gonna do today it's probably gonna take hopefully a maximum one hour it's not so bad the first one was was a was a lot worse than this one you guys having a good time Can I taste your tea wait a potato oh okay the only tea Christopher drinks is what he calls early Gray I love it he's like yeah I love early gray I'm like I'm pretty sure it's not early right it is early Gray it's a Verity they grow very early gray and you drink it without milk no sugar I was just gonna say I see sugar in the eyes when I said that it's a bit of Honey inside yeah not too bad I was thinking it's gonna be super sweet this is actually really nice hmm not so bad are you guys having a good time yeah I've been sitting in the office editing doing emails thank you very much sir thank you good the thing is so so so so so cold today and what is craziest is when you look at the thermometer the temperature and it's like minus seven it's not even like in February or in March we probably will have this weather but minus 30. it kind of blows your mind you're like wait a minute I survived that kind of weather different when the sun comes and that's windy today that's true the Sun a little bit of heat the wind makes it cold yeah but I'm thinking you know it gets windy and cold soon as well yeah how's he doing we need some hug some hugs the whole family hey it comes with us hello welcome you've been summoned child seats [Music] are you a good boy in the village today I'm gonna be thinking you weren't you're getting more and more of a nuisance as you get older he's it's like he's getting way too confident and cocky and you screams at everybody but you're beautiful everybody says that he looks like Fender is now and I can tell you Fenris is more chocolatey but you are your dark winter colors yeah you are he's been out all night pooping oh I slept two hours tonight this night he's been like in and out just sitting here soaking up the love you're literally burning up you're gonna ignite Grim isn't it a little bit warm remember oh dude it's so sad to go back to work what are you doing I'm going out to take the sled [Music] I'm scraping the surface and then he might get a piece of like 10 kilos out a chunk a chunk chunk of snow my days look very different one day I will be digging out snowmobiles I can be running errands or out and about preparing for adventure I like that we have so much flexibility that is probably the best thing about working with Cecilia so I hope you are enjoying hanging out with me and game today but I actually prefer being behind the scenes it's the reason why you don't see me
