A Barndominium With a Unique Shop and Purchasable Barndominium Kits???

hey everybody welcome back to the channel today I want to talk about one of my favorite floor plans for one of my favorite Builders build max this floor plan is really popular at the moment is the BM 2500 is a three bed three bath home roughly around 2 600 square feet with an attached 1500 square foot three-car garage or shop and it has a bonus room up above that shop area I'm excited to go over 2500 and as you can see the whole entire elevation of this beautiful floor plan is just absolutely stunning I do love the color choices already that they've selected you get this black with like the barn doors on there three-car garage it just has that stunning appeal to it right off the bat so already I'm gonna give it a 10 out of 10 on just the straight straight up elevation from the get-go also want to showcase the White Version as well just like the other one it has a curb appeal and it catches your eye right away so let's look at the floor plan of this barnuminum build if you are looking for the actual floor plans and the link to all this stuff I'm going to link the Builder info on this the designer buildmax.com it's the billmax.com bm2500 and you can see the exact same video that I'm about to go over with you guys and the four plans I'm showing right now so this floor plan is a two-story floor plan and we're going to go through the video and showcase it but I just want to pull this up on the screen so this is the first floor view you have your you walk into your front porch you have your great room your elves up to your kitchen space so you have that open floor plan View and then you have your master to the left your master bath and your walk-in closet so the left-hand side of this build is all going to be just strictly for the master the right hand side of this is where you have your your guest bedroom and then uh your mud room and laundry room and then on the second floor you are going to have your other bedroom upstairs along with the Loft now pay attention to this first floor plan of the garage shop this is a three-car garage obviously if you wanted to you could probably customize this to make this taller if you needed to you can take out probably one of these doors make them wider however you want to do it I'm sure the Builder wouldn't mind setting that up for you guys it also has stairs that lead up to the second floor of this shop area flick all this attic space up here you can store all your stuff it goes up to the bonus room and you have the bathroom out there as well all right let's take a look at the video so wrap the bat I mean it's just catches your eye imagine pulling up to this property every day if you own this house I mean just incredible just love all the the the the porch areas on here tons of room for entertaining we are now entering into the front door just check that out that is your review when you first walk in it's all opened up love the open floor uh concept and you just see everything right off the bat you see your whole entire living room space opens up into your kitchen your stairs are to your left that going up to the loft space and it's just gorgeous love the concept behind this check out that fireplace beautiful I love that shot [Music] another view of the front door going out great size living room space love the kitchen great space for the kitchen I love the bar area love the live fixtures they chose for this build and I love this we're moving up into the Loft space I have your wooden beams that's right here we're looking at one of the bedrooms it has its own bathroom great size bathroom space obviously the options on this can vary and now we are downstairs and this is the master bedroom this one has a separate shower tub package [Music] gotta have the double vanities that is a must especially if you're married here's the other guest bedroom great size bedroom bedrooms I mean plenty of space they have their own closets of course good size closet space bathroom space is great right here too I love this kind of modern Farmhouse look this is a huge bonus to me because you have your laundry room all the counter space but it has a window in there that um I mean I know like for my wife uh she that was a must for a house that we just bought purchased was that had to have a window in the laundry room because it feels like you're in a cave this is the Breezeway walk room area that connects the house to the shop area or the garage um look at all this light that's coming through here look all these windows this is it would be great for like a like a reading Nook um to have right here if you have homeschool kiddos or you have kids at home they can do their homework here I mean I'm a dad of two girls so I when I see this I think of like a reading area or you know obviously you're coming from your shop into that into the house going to like your mudroom space this space could be done very well with all kinds of different ways um and different ideas I love to hear your ideas what you would do with this space here now entering into the shop area now this is the upstairs space of the shop so when you walked in you saw those stairs I mean you can refer back to the floor plan if you want to it goes up into this bonus room so this bonus room could be lots of different things if this was me I would make this bonus room be um just whole set a whole separate entity for my guests so as you can see we have you know your couches here and you have your like almost like a living room type setup here and it has its own bathroom so for me this would be like a separate mother-in-law Suite or it would be a home office this would be a great home office for you to utilize as well [Music] and there is the bathroom for this bonus room space I think if it was me it would be my office pretty neat with all the patio space I love how they staged this digitally to show you can have your fire pit right there lots of room for entertaining I imagine eating dinners off this back patio and that is the BM 2500 by build max so that's one of my favorite floor plans from build max this floor plan is incredible there's so many different things you can do with this floor plan I love the layout I love the design I love how it's a two-story floor plan with an additional 1500 square foot attached garage or shop so many other things you can do with that bonus room upstairs like I said if it was me I think I would convert that to my office space still make it available for guests to sleep at and just be kind of creative with that space in general another question that always comes up and people always ask me is what does something like this cost well that question can be kind of loaded because when you build a home it depends upon what you put inside the home right so I could build a house for x amount of money but you might build that same house for x amount of money plus 100 Grand and depending upon what kind of materials that she used for instance granite countertops versus linoleum you know different types of floors you know if you have hardwood floors versus you know all of the different types of vinyl flooring all those things vary in price so that is one of the reasons why that question can be pretty loaded if you were to build a barnuminum that looks identical to this in every way shape and form then I would tell you that this bartimanium would probably cost you around 150 to 200 a square foot range I live here in Texas and in New Braunfels near Austin so materials can vary depending upon where you live post frame barnuminum kit you can purchase a steel frame Barn minium kit or a conventional wood frame package as well all of these different types of packages can vary in price if you scroll down here it can vary from eighteen dollars a square foot to 29 a square foot now this can vary upon the cost of the products itself cost upon the price of steel costs of can vary upon the price of the wood if you're looking to save a little bit of money about 20 percent of the cost then the conventional wood frame package would be your go-to so if you're looking for for kids you know on these barnominiums
