9 Reasons to BUY the DJI MINI 4 PRO over the AIR 3

all right DJI has definitely been busy this year and we have the release of the all-new Mini 4 Pro and also with the release of the new Air 3 this one has definitely found its place amongst drone enthusiasts as far as using it for videography or having an alternative to buying something like the mavic 3 lineup so I'm sure there's a lot of people on the fence wondering which one should I get should I get the DJI air 3 or should I get the all-new Mini 4 Pro and since the Mini 4 Pro was just released in this video let's talk about all of those reasons why you might want the Mini 4 Pro over something like the air 3. and for the first reason we'll talk about as you can see here there's definitely a big size difference with the Mini 4 Pro compared to the air 3. it was definitely a bigger jump as far as size goes when we're talking about comparing the air 2s the air 3 the R3 is significantly bigger this kind of leans more on the mavic 3 three side as far as size go so if you are taking these out there size is always something you have to consider when you're packing and portability wise and trying to travel as light as possible as you can see the size of the Mini 4 Pro super small very similar size to the rest of the mini lineup so when it comes down to size and portability of course you're going to want to go with something like the Mini 4 Pro next we'll talk about which is also related to size we do have a big weight difference here between these two drones the Mini 4 comes in at sub 250 grams which is very important for people in certain places where you have restrictions on drones over 250 grams if you do have something like the air 3 here you're gonna have to register it because it does come in 720 grams while the Mini 4 Pro comes in at sub 250 249 about 250 grams when it comes down to sensor size we do have the one over 1.3 inch CMOS sensor same sensor size that we have here on the mini 3 we have that on the mini 4 Pro we also have that on the air 3 and then we have a larger sensor here on the mavic 3 Pro and next we'll talk about price so if you are capped out on a budget so you have to spend a thousand dollars Max you can get the mini 4 Pro with the DJI rcn2 remote control the Baseline remote control you can get that for 759 dollars now if you do get the mini 4 Pro I would definitely recommend also getting something like the fly more combo it'll include a couple extra batteries a charging Hub extra accessories and things like that and it'll keep you right around that thousand dollar range now if you do have a little bit more money to spend this one comes in at 10.99 that is the standard kit which is just the air 3 as well as the rcn2 remote control if you wanted a flammer combo again it's going to bump up the price probably put you in that 1200 1300 range with a Slammer combo and both these drones do have the option to get the DJ airc 2 remote control which is the one I would recommend does have the built-in screen makes it really easy to have an all-in-one package so that does bump up the price but if you're looking at just the Baseline this comes in at 759 this one comes in at 10.99 and the next reason why you might also want to jump over to the Mini 4 Pro and this is a feature that the air 3 actually came out with too is that we do have omnidirectional sensing or vision camera sensing all the way around the Drone we have these fish eye cameras here on the front which pretty much capture everything in this direction we have them on the rear so it does have the omnidirectional 360 sensing or vision camera sensing and we now have that that same technology that same Optical avoidance we have that now on a smaller platform we have it on the mini 4 Pro with the same camera system while it was normally on the higher end drones like the mavic lineup and the air 3 we have that now on the mini 4 Pro with that Omni Direction no sensing that brings us over to the next reason why you might want to jump over to the Mini 4 Pro is that we do have an updated active track 360. with that new active track 360 we have an all new user interface when it comes down to tracking your subject you can see that you can change the distance or the radius around a subject so if you are following a subject if you're walking down and you wanted to have the Drone whip around from the back and then whip to the front you're able to draw on the new UI in the app and have the Drone go from back to the front and not just that if you are following a slower subject if you're just doing a standard walk and you wanted the Drone to be closer to you and then pull back away you are able to change the radius of the Drone from close to far and there is a whole new section in the app for you to make those adjustments next feature we'll talk about is the true vertical shooting now you are able to turn the camera on the mini 4 Pro so so it does shoot in 4k 60. now if you wanted to shoot 4k60 in vertical all you have to do is press the button on the screen and the entire camera will now turn from horizontal to vertical and that allows you to still maintain a 4K resolution but shoot in vertical format now the A3 does do it a little bit differently you can get vertical shooting on the air 3 but you are technically just cropping into a 4K image you're not getting a true 4K output so you'll be shooting in 4k but the output of the vertical will just be 2.7 K next feature we're talking about on the mini 4 Pro is a new feature that was brought over recently to the mavic lineup and that is the AR or augmented reality return to home feature which we now have on the mini 4 Pro the new AR feature does have a bunch of different components to it which is really cool if you are a fpv or a DJI fpv flyer you'll be familiar with that home icon so what you get with the mini E4 Pro is you get a little home icon for wherever your home point is you'll see a little H moving around your screen that just lets you know where your home point is so when you're out there flying and you want to return back to home you can kind of just see oh the home my home is back over here I love hand side so if I turn my drone you can just have it Point directly to home and then just accelerate back home if you wanted to fly at home or if you want to use return to home it does have that new AR feature once you engage return to home on the remote controller on the screen you are now able to see this green line it has these arrows that kind of point and what it does it really gives you an overlay of your scene and shows you the direction and the position of where your drone is going to be flying when it's going back to home and also when it's coming down for landing a little drone icon shows up on screen as it comes closer to the ground it shows you where your drone is anticipated to land so if you do see that camera pointing down in a drone might be coming down on some high grass or weeds or trees something you just don't want to land in then of course you can cancel that Landing fly it manually and land it safely and finally one of the main reasons why you might want to look at the Mini 3 Pro over the air 3 kind of goes back to size and weight but more importantly just kind of like public perception of a small kind of toy looking drone versus something a little bit larger whenever I'm out there flying a mini drone like the Mini 3 Mini 3 Pro and the Mini 4 Pro it makes it simple or a little bit easier around uh you know people in general even though it'll fly right next to people just having a smaller drone just a little bit less intimidating versus having a larger platform like the air 3. and there it is guys just a bunch of reasons why you might consider the Mini 4 Pro over the air 3 and of course the air 3 has a bunch of different reasons why you're gonna want to jump over to this drone so if you guys do want to see all the advantages that the three has over this drone make sure you
