Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
I had an older lady ask me what I was taking photos of (at a nice museum) and I told her B&W images of the architecture.
She looked at me for a minute then called me racist, walked off with a disgusted look.
I was in disbelief of what had just happened.
This video is really well produced!
Poignant. Among the most insightful and instructive photog how-to's I've seen.
This is a big one. I love this dude. It clicked. " Don't take the photo , make the photo. " What a thing to say.
Thank you for posting this, the video was awesome. I think I have always wanted to be a black and white photographer but I have hesitated because color has allowed me so much more range for communicating my ideas. This video gave me a healthy push to go back to black and white and experiment with how it can help me express my ideas. Thanks again!
I liked the video. A small suggestion (if the creator or anyone else is reading this) is to compress the video a bit, at least in the beginning. It takes two entire minutes to start the list, and not everyone will wait for that. Just get them hooked fast with what they clicked the video to watch. And put the list in the description as well.
Other than that, definitely agree with most points and enjoyed it!
I'm really reluctant on the HDR thing. HDR is the Peter Max poster of our time.
