9 Player Proof Doors for Your Minecraft Base!

sometimes minecraft can be all-out warfare with PvP servers teaming up with vengeful players you're gonna need a lot more than a bow and arrow to protect your precious diamonds sub why don't you show our viewers another non ores to protect your base from intruders and minecraft from turrets to fake outs we need to show off a range of different techniques to throw off anyone on the hunt but I'm sure your cogs have been working away to prepare something amazing for us so what are you waiting for sup hurry up why are you all the way over there number one mailbox turret sub you've got mail or at least you did before that newb stole it all look at him dancing around out there acting all smug you have to find a way to protect all those letters how about we wire up that mailbox to a dispenser and hide it behind some Pistons so that it's out of sight fill it up with some dipped arrows so that whenever the box is opened it will trigger and shoot whoever comes rating your mail here comes Steve again looks like this time he's receiving a swift and piercing punishment number two leap of faith we all love doors but this video wants to make sure you never look at a wooden door the same way again often the first door player sees will be the one they assume is the entrance naturally they will try to enter but that's not gonna work out today Suffern expectations with a fake ground-level entrance leading to a long love drop fill it up with cobwebs just saw rub salt in the wound and place a door over it the actual entrance is going to require a leap of faith using something called a potion of leaping to reach all the way up on the second floor [Music] any players attempting to enter the regular route will be subjected to a slow and hellish death as they sink through the cobwebs [Music] sub has a lot of faith faith that you're subscribed don't go betraying his trust now that would be uncool number three walls of doom the next door would make even Indiana Jones tremble the new update apt honey which can make sets of blocks move along together but what about when two sets of blocks collide not only will it look cool but it's sure to pack a punch prepare a chamber underneath your bases entrance make sure there's enough space for all of your redstone as going back later to fix it will be frustrating suck it up to the pressure plates by your door as this will be what drops them down finally lure your unsuspecting victim in by saying you're heading offline here they come you made the sidewalls out of obsidian so there's no way they can escape in time as the walls closing around them [Applause] by the time it's over they'll look like a terraria character [Music] number four abandoned delusion [Music] [Applause] ah you build a lovely holiday home for yourself a paradise hidden from all the trouble and chaos of the world how lovely sub Oh No Anubis just spawned and he's right by your house ah that's so annoying you just can't catch a break from all these players maybe you should just pack up and leave home what about if there was a way to look like you moved but still stay in the exact same place time to pull the wool over this noobs eyes border up your windows block up all your exits and place some signs declaring the home abandoned you could even add some random blocks to the sides and destroy a wall or two to make the house look griefed players will assume this place is completely looted and pass right on by a hand the illusion indeed [Music] number five the new facade cleaning another designer throw players off of your tracks you're a pro at this game but perhaps less people would mess with you if you look like a noob on equip your armor and move around your base underground for this you want to build a newbie dirt hut above your base make it look as terrible as possible ensuring no player will come anywhere near it because there's literally no point in even wasting their breath to deal with you perfect [Music] install a secret elevator that only you know how to trigger to take you down to your true hiding place revealing how skilled you actually are [Music] number six dispense allure more unwanted intruders Oh looks like they figured out the potion of leaving trick they have their own maybe another trick might stop them once and for all dispensers can be spotted from a mile off by some skill players so they might activate it and reach your base unless you fill that dispenser with poison potions this time with the real entrance completely hidden players should assume that they need the leaping potion to reach the door little do they realize that they'll just get a mouthful of poison stings ouch number seven we need to stop these players in their tracks the only way to do that properly is by literally stopping them did you know gravel and sand can be pushed up with Pistons to form a wall sub well they can also drop back down so that no one ever knew they were there too what a wire Pistons around the border of your base and create a wall that can be triggered easily by intruders perhaps use a trip wire so they can't see it coming once the walls pop up not only will you hear them but they'll also have to build their way over costing them precious time as you aim your bow [Music] number eight mob grinder fake-out don't destroy that spawner sub we're gonna need the hostile mobs for this one I suggest you start digging a tunnel back to base entrances don't always have to be in the open and they don't always have to be conventional either some players may be expecting something more elaborate in which case they might be expecting you to lead them down to a long tunnel to reach the base so why not use this to your advantage rather than digging a tunnel directly to your base you can dig all the way to a dungeon the last thing the player will expect as they walk in is to get flooded with zombies and skeletons watch them be slowly overcome by mobs number 9 fireworks celebration this is the last one for today so let's go out with a bang and celebrate with some fireworks did you know that fireworks can deal damage to players if they're in range of the explosion sub well now you do using this knowledge you can create a unique doorway with dispensers packed full of fireworks on the floor and a low roof to stop them shooting directly into the air and causing them to explode a player height once the player triggers the doorway fireworks will fire and blast the intruder into pieces and it looks really pretty look at all those colors I hope you're all as scared as I am I wouldn't mess with you even for a second sub you've shown us a plethora of ways to defend ourselves from unwanted trespassers and how to fight back against harmful intruders hopefully you're
