hello again and welcome to a brand new episode of Secrets and Dragon Ball games the more I make these videos the more I realized just how much fun the devs had when it came to Yamcha for the most part they like to clown on him stand back guys I got this one hey oh Juma but today we got something different I unintentionally discovered a hilarious interaction while I was testing something completely unrelated with Turles and will get to that in a minute but first here's what happened I went on to test turtles' interactions with other saans you have these badass dead serious conversations between Turles and the rest of the gang and out of the blue comes Yamcha with the most Whiplash inducing comment ever dude what kind of car do you drive what are you babbling about what kind of car do you drive like what the hell is that about this comment was so random that it made me sit there for 5 good minutes trying to process what just happened naturally I had no idea what was going on so I went on to watch the Tree of Might movie and somewhere during the first third of the movie It Happened One of the members of The Crusher Corp Ammon actually blows up yamcha's flying car but still why did he say like that it almost sounds like he wants to get back at him like what are you going to do Yamcha trash is sand pot or something this inter action also carried over to Xenoverse 2 only this time yam is more straightforward with his intentions you'll pay for trashing My Ride punk I'm sorry let's Circle back to the main thing I wanted to show you turus has a fairly unique skill called fruit of the Tree of Might as the name implies Turles takes a bite of the fruit and instantly gains a power buff now what separates the skill from all the rest is the fact that the buff can last throughout the entire fight so long as he don't use any super moves I guess that was their way of balancing it and fair enough I think that's a good way to balance it out now here comes the not so balance part this skill falls under the umbrella of stackable skill moves meaning you can use them multiple times and each time you use them your Buffs keep on stacking normally these techniques can be stacked maybe two to three times with Goku's kaio-ken being an outlier at a total of five times at least I thought kaio-ken was the only outlier tur's fruit of Mind skill can be stacked a total of seven times I win the base punch will deal 280 damage after one bite from the fruit of Might that damage will rise to 310 and after a total of seven btes the maximum damage dealt increases to 420 at first I was confused as to why this move could be stacked seven times it seems kind of random I originally thought that it was some 300 IQ reference to the movie maybe Turtles took seven bytes in total during the movie and if that was were the case it would probably be one of the most genius Easter eggs ever after rewatching the movie again and taking note of all the bites he took I was left with a total of one bite but that's not all he did only take one bite before crushing the fruit of might but he also ate the entire fruit later on granted they don't show us how many bites he takes he had to have taken a few bites judging by what's left of the fruit but would that total to seven bites eh I don't know I think it's a huge stretch it would be really cool if the number seven was a reference to the total number of bites he took in the movie but I doubt that's the case I mean how would you even calculate that I think the devs just slapped a random number and rolled with it on the less confusing note they brought this kill back and Raging Blast 2 and no you can't stack it seven times here you can only use it once but they did something really cool for a few frames after eating the fruit you can see tur's muscle grow to grade three proportions and after the Cinematic finish his muscle mass reverts back to normal while not being able to play this form might be a bummer it is fairly fateful to what happened in the movie have you ever played ten Kai chi3 and charged all the way up to the max only for that signature burst of energy that stuns the opponent not to trigger I distinctly remember one time I was charging up to the max while my opponent was right beside me I thought I had everything under control the max Power Burst wave will knock the enemy back before their attack connects and leave them wide open for an ultimate but that didn't happen the energy burst didn't do Jack and I got knocked the heck out now this moment kind of always stuck with me I had no idea why that energy burst didn't do the knockback when it obviously should have it took me a while but I finally have an explanation and trust me it's a good one the energy burst that pushes the opponent's back doesn't trigger with Android characters and that makes perfect sense they're artificial beings they don't have the same energy as regular Fighters heck they can't even charge their quote unquote key the game does it for them it can only be manually charged once they accumulate five key bars so yeah that's a pretty lore accurate detail and I definitely appreciate it but wait what about Kid Goku I was just playing with him a couple of seconds earlier and his energy burst didn't have the knockback effect too what's that about well it would appear that Androids aren't the only ones without dis ability some characters were deemed Weak by the game or characters who don't possess proper key Control won't be able to trigger this effect this is mostly reserved for Prez era and some post Z era characters such as kid Goku General blue Videl Mr Satan roshi grandpa Gohan Chi-Chi and so on I guess the game thinks it would be a bit too ridiculous if viel was able to push back Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta with her key alone a huge shout out to brh for pointing this detail out and don't worry worry your English is perfect burst Limit has these heavy attacks you press R2 and triangle and keep on holding them if you want to do more damage so what's so special about him well aside from the fact that they're a new addition to the budai series and yes I'm calling burst Limit a budai game because it pretty much is from the animations combat Etc they're essentially the nextg version of the Budokai games well next gen at the time but I'm getting off track here there's a certain clever little detail that devs incorporated into these heavy attacks I'm not going to say anything let's see if you can spot it did I just see his foot yep the impact was so strong that his foot actually went through his body well not literally it's a kids game but this is probably one of my favorite details ever I loved seeing these in the actual show especially during that Piccolo in Android 17 fight and it's not just a foot even heavy attack punches will have the same effect and what's even more crazy some characters like Piccolo do a heavy attack to the jaw which results in a few extra inches getting added to your neck [Applause] length similar to the PS2 budai games where entire stages can get blown up if you launch an ultimate attack the same goes for burst Limit albeit with a small new addition the budai games offered interactive stages for example if you hit your enemy hard enough they'd be sent flying and your battle would continue in a whole different part of the stage while burst Limit went for a slightly different approach this time around you can take your battles to the air it works just like in the budai games if you hit your opponent hard enough instead of being ported to a different part of the stage both players will find themselves duking it out in the air but there's one specific air stage I want to show you previously destroyed stages didn't have any of the map quirks like their regular non- destroyed versions had you won't be able to teleport to a different part of the map won't be able to clash with Dinosaurs Etc you're just kind of left there which I don't really mind however burst Limit devs decided to add some map quirks to their destroyed stages just like in regular stages you can send your opponent flying into the air now that alone is pretty cool because I was so used to having zero map interactions on these destroyed maps and as a kid playing this game I really wasn't prepared for what what I was about to see when I first got teleported to the air stage of a destroyed map I don't know what I was expecting to see but it certainly wasn't this so what's the hyperbolic Time Chamber doing in space more specifically what's the significance of its appearance in a desolated stage I honestly have no clue Planet namx destroyed air stage looks like what you'd expect but put the time chamber on a desolated earth stage I I don't know every time I see it I get reminded of how little content this game has I mean there are only five maps and the character roster a damn shame this game has tons of cut content and I just wish they could have finished the game properly perhaps we'll cover it in a future video as a kid whose first introduction to cooler was through the games and not the actual movie I always thought his final form was the strongest can you blame me though it looks way cooler than his metal form no pun intended even to this day I still subconsciously view it as a strongest even though I know it isn't he can keep up with Super Saiyan Goku yet metal cooler was wrecking both Goku and Vegeta at the same time I love how buddai 3 makes it very clear which form is the strongest his base form is naturally the weakest followed by his final form and at the very top comes metac cooler kill everyone cool Po's power progression is pretty straightforward his brother on the other hand even though Frieza himself states that he's grown stronger after being reassembled Budokai 3 thinks otherwise will take his death beam attack as an example final form will do 292 damage Mega Frieza will do 300 so far so good right it goes hand in hand with his manga statement well let's try to fire a death beam and is bulked up 100% power form 300 same as Mecha Frieza now I see two conclusions here either he's just as strong as he was on neic meaning the game ignored that manga statement or conclusion number two I don't know if you noticed but Mega Frieza is not his bul up form and is able to Output the same damage as his full 100% power form on neic which could imply that if he was to go into his bulky form he would get a small damage boost just like his Namek Saga counterpart did and naturally he would be able to Output more damage damage making his cyborg body stronger than his normal one unfortunately bulked up Mecha Frieza was never shown to us we don't even know if a cyberg body could even use that form so yeah they did a really good job with Cooler's power progression although I'm not entirely sure how to process the whole Mecha Frieza situation have you guys ever felt like something is missing in tankai chi3 more specifically something that was present in tenai chi2 and not in three I'm going to do a little test here first I'm going to do a jump with kid Goku in tenai chi3 now I'm going to do the same jump in tenai chi2 notice the difference how about these two or these [Music] [Applause] two every single OG Dragon Ball character from ten Kai chi2 has their very own unique jumping animation whereas in bt3 they removed all those quirky animations and replaced them with regular stock animations and that's not all their floating SL flying animations have also been removed there was also a cute feature where non-flying characters would plumet to the ground if you stayed in the air too long I fallen and I can't get up I had a lot of fun playing against these characters one moment the CPU would be in the middle of the greatest combo mankind has ever seen and the very next moment they just I personally don't mind the exclusion of this detail but the removal of all those goofy little animations still kind of leaves me puzzled maybe they deem them too distracting or something I'm not sure I'm a huge fan of the game's adapting content from the Dragon Ball super manga mostly due to the fact that we rarely see it happen everything they adapt is either from the anime or the movies but manga you just don't see it happen that often although I love what they did with Kakarot they adapted the whole boo Arc from the Future Trunks timeline and seeing Future Trunks go Super Saiyan 2 was just [Music] I've had enough of you two ever since then I can wait to see more manga exclusive content get adapted in games fortunately for me there's this fairly overlooked Dragon Ball game called Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission it's based off the Japan exclusive Dragon Ball Heroes arcade game it's been out on Steam for a few years but I never got around to it until today I'm still new to the game and don't quite have the greatest knowledge of it but I just have to mention this tiny detail so super saiyan blue Goku is one of the playable characters here and can you guess what super move he [Applause] got I still can't believe they have Goku using Hawkeye in this game it's a reference to a manga panel from Dragon Ball super Goku used Ed in his fight against merged zamasu which we never saw in the anime honestly I'm just hoping we'll get some more manga exclusive content adapted in future games that's all for this one if you haven't already I highly recommend checking out the previous secrets in Dragon Ball games video we tried to break down one of the most confusing mechanics of tankai chi3 also I just made a Twitter SLX account and would highly appreciate it if you guys could slide me a quick follow I'll occasionally be sharing stuff for relating to videos and Dragon Ball games in general but most importantly it'll help me reach out to YouTube support team if something would ever happen to the channel So yeah thank you for watching and I'll see you in the next one is that all you've got
