hey what's up guys Bonnie here coming at you with another Diablo 4 video today we're going to be covering the melee version of my rogue I've had the opportunity to somewhat perfect it towards the end of the beta and this is by far the class that I've had the most fun with I had the opportunity to test some of the other ones not to this extent but I'd be willing to say that this was probably the strongest or one of the strongest builds in the beta right now you could literally melt bosses in a couple of seconds with this but you also had high mobility and amazing AOE clearing speed even the butcher was no match for this build he died in roughly eight seconds by the time that I started hitting him which is insane as for the world boss we already know that this guy can be soloed by a rogue and I'm pretty confident that this with this build right here I could have done it as well it took about three minutes for our last kill and this was not even with my fully optimized build so in today's video I want to go over the skills and the gear that I used to pull this off if you guys guys like the content please do not forget to subscribe and hit that notification Bell as I will be making more content for Diablo 4 in the coming weeks alright so let's first start with the skills the basic one is going to be puncture along with these two passives to give us a stack of a vulnerable if you would be using the range version then perhaps forceful Arrow along with rapid fire would be your best bet but because we're doing the melee we're going to be using twisting blades along with these two passives the last one being really important to reset your cooldowns as for agility skills we don't currently have any points everything here is from gear we do have these passives right here which are really important but with more points I would probably pick up some of these passives as they would give us a DPS boost I don't always use these two skills together uh on my bar at the same time but when I am fighting bosses I am for sure going to use Shadow step and I'll explain that a little bit later but sometimes you want to have Dash as well to just help you clear content a little bit faster as for the subterfuge skills we are not using any of them I will get back to dark shroud though as there is a legendary item that gives you stacks of dark shroud without actually using the skill and if I understand correctly this is basically giving you the damage reduction so that is pretty insane as for the uh passes in this section we want to have exploit and Malice and finally for our imbuement skills is where the bulk of the damage will come from we are using two of them Shadow and bumin is great for clearing packs of mobs we would pick up the rest of these passives if we could I would probably go with this one as for poison imbuement I decided to go with these two passives but perhaps this one would be better more testing is needed to figure out which is best as for the ultimate Shadow clone is probably the best one as it allows you to pretty much double your DPS while it is up uh we would certainly use these two passives right here quick notes if I were to have uh more points obviously we would go for the ultimates down here there are a couple different ones that I would want to try out this one here pay attention to the fact that you hit it you need to hit sorry an enemy from behind which is why I think that shadow step is probably a little bit better to trigger this but this one or even this one could also be interesting to try out uh if I would have even more points I would probably uh go with these passives right here at this could address our resource generation issues we have to use inner sight for the time being but maybe because of these we could go back to using the combo uh specialization also down here if I were to have more points I would certainly pick up sturdy but more importantly siphoning strikes as this would give us a lot of survivability now let's go over the gear which has been pretty much min max at this point however I would still test a few more things like moving some of the legendary aspects around on like your two-hand weapon your amulet and your weapons and Rings to see if I can squeeze out a little bit more DPS but as for the uh defensive ones or utility ones here's what I have settled with so for the helm we are using the critical strikes with Marksman we'll give you a free Dark Shadow uh dark shroud Shadow sorry which gives you like I said the damage reduction from the skill and you can get more than one which I think is pretty broken but hey this is great especially for the world boss fight you would also want to have on the gear itself Shadow and beam poison and human anything else to boost your DPS or the chess piece we have the barrier one along with the amulet which works in tandem with this one to give us a 41 increased damage uh while it is up as for the skills on these two pieces plus one to agility plus one to human I think is really important and then for the chess piece we have plus the shadow damage and poison damage then for the gloves plus two the twisting blades Critical Strike uh lucky hit here would also be really important and we've decided to go with the aspect that you deal more damage for each second that you stand still which is why also that my attack power is boosted right now because I am standing still something to note about this legendary aspect and using Shadow step is that when you Shadow step behind an enemy you technically did not move so it should not remove your stacks of this uh maybe it's just uh it was a fluke or something maybe it's not intentional but this is how it's been working so far so that is pretty great uh then for the pants we decided to use basic skills we'll Grant 25 damage reduction for seven seconds and because we're going to be using puncture anyway to trigger some of our other passives I think that this is really good and eventually once we have enough lucky hit we may be able to fully drop the inner side and go back to combo point so you would try to weave in a couple of hits with your basic skill to empower your twisting blades even more but at that uh we'll have to wait until the launch for the boots definitely plus two to Shadow step if you can like I said I prefer Shadow step over the other one because if you get a kill with the shadow step along with this legendary and right here you'll basically refund charge you will also increase the damage and Shadow steps gives you a movement speed for 2 seconds so you can zip around the dungeons a lot faster with this by using both of them then you can do it even faster and what's also great about Shadow step is that you can use it on breakable objects which means you can basically just trigger the movement speed for free and save your charge so this is really fun then for the main weapon we are using the twisting blades that orbit around you I think that this is at the core of this build does it need to be on your two-hand weapon compared to some of the other ones I don't know yet again more testing is needed for this but basically you would want like vulnerable damage here uh just more raw damage anything to core skill damage would also be really important to have as for the Rings Critical Strike critical damage lucky hit is also something you would want we are using the Marksman skills have up to a 10 chance to create an aerostorm so again more reason to use your puncture because this is the only Marksman skill that we have on this build to trigger even more damage and then when you pop your Shadow clone uh he's gonna do the same thing and you can hopefully fill up the five slots for Arrow storms to have even more DPS uh then for this one right here critical strikes with your core skills will increase your attack speed so again this is kind of to support the whole build to have uh even more puncture products to proc everything else as for the uh final a legendary aspects we want to make enemies vulnerable or sorry when we make them vulnerable we have a 32 chance to Grant uh increased Critical Strike chance if you remember on some of our skills this would trigger our lifesteal if we were to get siphoning strikes and finally for this one right here skills will deal up to 29 increased damage based on your available primary resource if you saw uh in the beginning we're basically always at full resource when we trigger our inner site which means we're dealing even more damage with our twisting blades so that is the gist of the gear now let's go over some gameplay first up we're gonna have the end of a dungeon run this one in particular takes about four to five minutes to complete it is not one of those that requires you to kill all the remaining mobs to trigger the boss I believe that those are better done with a group of players but anyway this one here on solo is pretty quick as you can see we don't need the poison imbuement for this part of the dungeon because we have plenty of damage with our shadow imbuement along with our shadow step and a Dash which also deals uh quite a lot of damage and allows you to like I said before move around a lot faster but then what I do for the boss fight is that I'm going to drop the dash ability to add the poison imbuement and then we're gonna go ahead and pop our full combo which is to uh Shadow step our shadow clone we're gonna do Shadow and viewing poison imbuement and then that's it the boss literally melts in seconds and we're gonna finish with the end of the world boss fight which like I said in the beginning took about three minutes to complete with our current team we know it's been sold before by a row I'm pretty confident I could pull it off myself and this uh attempt I decided to use Dash and Shadow step because I wasn't 100 confident that my shadow step ability would be up often enough for me to constantly be behind a boss but as you can see right here I'm literally always teleporting behind him which means I'm maintaining my damage sack so I could have dropped the dash ability for the poison imbuement and deal even more damage I'm pretty certain that I dealt at least 50 percent of the damage on this guy so guys there you have it this is the Showcase or the build for the melee Rogue with twisting blades along with two imbuements for maximum damage I want you to know what you guys think in the comments section below thank you so much for watching and I will see you guys in the next video
