8 rule changes F1 fans think should happen…

what f1 rules should be changed oh yes we're doing this today there are a massive amount of rules in formula one i mean just look at the length of the regulations the teams and drivers have to abide by from having to change tyre compounds in a dry race to the safety car only allowing half the field to unlap themselves wait what that isn't a rule anyway we decided to pose the question to almost a million people on instagram please follow and over 800 000 on twitter and these were some of the most popular rule changes that were suggested gregor milby suggests when the vsc is deployed rather than sticking to the delta the car should hit a button similar to the pit limiter which keeps their speed at say 100 miles an hour better than these random gaps forming when everyone should be driving to the same delta time for this one i can see where gregor is trying to go with this trying to remove the variability we see with the gaps between drivers under the virtual safety car firstly the speed would have to be way lower in my opinion say 50 miles an hour or 80 kilometers an hour and then perhaps the system would work it could never be an automated system though where the cars automatically slow down because that would be a massive safety issue cars randomly slowing down perhaps the driver doesn't see the warning it could be catastrophic trying cliveland comes in with allowing vettel to race on his scooter in peace i do understand why the rule is in place where nothing is allowed on track five minutes after the end of a session but then again it's sebastian vettel trying to get more track time on a scooter leave him be clement.gt7 says v10 for everyone they are glorious engines to listen to don't get me wrong it's amazing to look back on the past generations of cars and hear those wonderful notes but we all know deep down this will never happen it's not the way the world is going i'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news we still have old youtube videos to look through hakes sahax rule change is pirelli rainbow return of course hake is referring to the beautiful color wheel that was the old pirelli tires where we had seven different dry compounds varying from super hard to hyper soft nowadays we have the c1 c2 c3 c4 and c5 tyres which then three are selected for each race with it being the soft medium and the hards i think for hardcore f1 fans the color wheel was definitely better if you know the sport inside out you know the colors it gives us the information we need quicker however to try and make it more simple to understand for the casual viewer i totally get why they've gone down this route and personally i'm happy to accept the direction they've taken with this yp.jpg comes in with red flag tyre change rule yep i totally agree with this one i think you should be allowed to change tyres for safety reasons that's perfectly fine but to actually allow it to be the mandatory pit stop that is required from one compound to the other doesn't make sense it can put drivers who weren't in contention at all right at the front of the field yes we do like some variability but this just doesn't seem particularly fair brooklyn latham suggests winner of f2 automatically gets an f1 seat now we're heading into sort of dream scenario stuff now i think we'd all like to see the winner of f2 be rewarded with an f1 drive but i can't see it ever happening due to the difficulties of sponsorship and teams needing drivers who bring in some serious cash it'd need f1 themselves to be willing to put up the necessary sponsorship money to the winner for this to happen and that ain't happening b.center's rule change is i would change the pit stop rule drivers would be able to finish the race without a pit stop i can't get on board with this one unfortunately no pit stops in my opinion means even less variation of strategy yeah we may see an alex album performance once in a while but having everybody try a no-stop race would just make for a much less interesting spectacle and finally nicola underscore philippov says bring back the cooldown room yes definitely it has provided us with some amazing behind the scenes moments i don't even know if it counts as a rule but i want you to bring it back right now formula one there you have it some rule changes suggested by you the fans which ones do you agree with which ones do you disagree with and what rule change would you suggest let us know in the comment section below [Music] [Music] you
