great trip [Music] [Applause] see [Music] everything very deep [Music] scripture reading for this morning will be taken from isaiah chapter 61 reading verses one through three isaiah 61 verses one through three the spirit of the lord god is upon me because the lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings and to the meek he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound to proclaim the acceptable year of the lord and the day of vengeance of our god to comfort all that born to appoint unto them that mourn in zion to give unto them beauty for ashes the oil of joy for mourning the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness that they might be called trees of righteousness the planting of the lord that he might be glorified you [Music] [Music] knows [Music] [Music] beyond the shadows [Music] god only knows just where and when [Music] um [Music] the dark clouds will be lifted the day of rest shall dawn at last someday god only knows just where and when and i shall go to dwell on those zions so before we go into scripture this morning i do want to bring you greetings from your church family we thank god for his mercy and his sickness thank god for being a part of the family of god amen hallelujah i don't know what that would have came without it but god knows hallelujah and we thank god for the hospitality of the safe god here lord willing will be traveling backwards and beginning of july here with chapter beginning at verse 18 the spirit of the lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted to preach deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind to set at liberty them that are bruce to preach the acceptable fear of the lord amen the word of god let us know that jesus this is jesus as he took the book of isaiah the prophet he opened it and he read it this scripture gives us an overview of the mission of jesus he came with a mission hallelujah he came to do the will of his father he came to die he did not come to set up a kingdom but he came to go to cancer a mission is very important because a nation keeps you focused this morning as we are celebrating our independence day we thank god for this great nation and as i was thinking about this nation i thought about the mission that god has given to this nation also the mission that god gives specifically to some areas in some specific groups if american citizen is in trouble in a foreign country we have elite groups and they are trained and their mission is rescued one of those groups is the baby seal they are trained to rescue to rescue at all false if it takes their life they are trained to do it that's their mission i think that when they sign up they know that hallelujah i grew up doing the vietnam era and during that era it was a group called the green beret some of the other people may not know about them i don't hear it too much but the green beret was the army group hallelujah the army special forces and they had a mission they were trained to go in and rescue they are people they are soldiers in specific situations not discrediting all the other military staff but sometimes there is a specific mission jesus came with a specific mission he did not allow anything to deter him from that mission hallelujah when he tried to tell the disciples one time what that he was going to do jesus had to rebuke peter because peter said oh no you're not going to die see you say get behind me i don't know because i have a mission i'm so glad that nothing deterred him from that mission to go all the way to calvary glory be to god he came to die he came to give his life that focus how much more jesus hallelujah he laid down his heavenly authority at any moment he could have spoken and angels but he allowed himself those that he creation the creator allowed himself i thank god nobody want to be oppressed and god's people was under roman oppression and they were all looking for the messiah because the word the promise was given in genesis immediately immediately after the fall amen between the seed and her seed it shall bruise thy head and thou shall bruise his heel glory to god immediately after the fall we knew that the delivery was coming when our soldiers or american citizens come in captivity and foreign that country knows that america is coming they don't know how they don't know where [Music] you may have helped them [Music] [Music] of [Music] jesus as he took the book and read it he said the spirit of the lord is upon me because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor hallelujah everybody is not going to receive it but if you are poor if you know that you have a need glory be to god you see whenever god's people meet always a mixed multitude we don't know who's in the basement this morning only god knows hallelujah but somebody i believe is so but may god give us that spirit that we can be poor in spirit hallelujah that good news sounds good to you if you're poor he said i come to preach the gospel to the poor he said he sent me to heal the brooklyn is it true repentance we're not blaming nobody what the holy spirit brought to me you see i was on the marker of the church so when you walk by there you saw it i know what religious crime looked like hallelujah and he will not leave we have a generation that don't know what rare it is set us up [Music] when someone even came to witness to me it actually [Music] in me and said you know i'm not a heath i was raised every sunday and we had is to preach deliverance [Music] we're [Music] we are bound by our homes excuse me you see jesus [Music] where just the words maybe it's something that i've got used to you know we can get used to walking in our own way we have to get used to ourselves a great price that we can have eternal life that we can have victory over fear hallelujah that we can walk in newness of life hallelujah [Music] that is the beginning of the watch he brought you out you stepped into a brand new world [Music] that we have committed that we inherited there's an endemic nature there's a rule of fear that needs to be taken care of [Music] i thank god [Music] now the spirit now the lord is that spirit and where the spirit of the lord is there is victory there is freedom glory to god there is freedom in salvation the way jesus christ thank god separations any even after god this that is [Music] singing you can be teaching you can be preaching glory to god and in captivity but you see if we've been raised [Music] keep moving a couple weeks ago i was there at the church and vibrated and i looked at it it was [Music] it knew some things about me and he knew that you don't need to be doing what you're doing it gave me a chance you see i sort of cheated and say well you know put it there about 15 years [Music] holy spirit some more the holy spirit [Music] future [Music] glory i know we got you for me no matter how long we've been saved no matter how much [Music] we never get to a place where we are in a position that we don't need that we don't need his mercy i thank god now we're listening to this and he's still hungry [Music] he set us free [Music] was we are looking for a city [Music] oh jesus he has not deviated from that mission admission is real this morning glory be to god our own insecurity the i was lord traveling is bring us to a place [Music] and jesus gave a prerequisite he said i'm coming back is if is [Music] every aspect of your life [Music] thank god a great place we're walking everyone jesus the promise was given in the conference the promise was given but it could not come to the fullness of time but we're still lucky glory to god he was able to do it because he gave his life he paid the price maybe you don't even know it's the holy it's not spirit let's not let that lawyer tell us how good we are hallelujah was god may god help me to be that church that is it [Music] so true [Music] foreign [Music] the 5th verse tells you what happens when you come the lord will receive you if i just receive you he will welcome you he will pardon you he will cleanse you if you're in bondage if you're conflicted whatever need exists come there's room the lord will answer your prayers you [Music] we want you to visit outside and that this will be a place of prayer heavenly father we thank thee for the privilege we have to sit under the sound of this glorious gospel we thank you for the liberty the freedom the victory that is found in jesus christ our lord we thank you for the message we thank you lord for your holy spirit who is still moving about this holy place reaching here and reaching there tucking into the recesses of hearts help us to respond help us lord as we come before you to each of us be a needy people hear from heaven our cry we know as we pray you will hear and you will
