700HP Audi Quattro Monster | Germany's Best Sounding Car?

i'm getting high from petrol dudes [Music] today you join me in germany at lce performance to drive a car that i am so excited about i almost didn't sleep last night so i came across this car on instagram and instantly had to write the owner because this car not only looked so unique i'm a big fan of the audi quattros the old ones the rally cars i mean we all know how they sound the sound is just oh it's as a petrol head listening to the old rally audi quattros do not get much better than that and anyway i wrote him and as i said i have to come film your car and two days later here i am so i'm going to give you guys quick walk around showing you the car quickly and then going to show you inside briefly lce performance this standing here and they've put a cars with luke number plate on the front super cool guys thank you so much for doing that was uh yeah really made me smile walking up to this car seeing a cars with luke number plate on i will go into detail about what this guy does but he basically rebuilds audi quattros to a rally replica not just the visual points but also the engines as you're gonna hear and see very soon this at the moment is running i believe 700 horsepower and they said they could push it up to a thousand if they want but looks on the outside wow wow wow but anyway let's go have a quick look inside before we head out in the quattro now this is my kind of showroom not only do they have one of my favorite cars outside they also have one inside got the porsche carrera gt obviously and right next to it we've got the gt2 rs club sport which he has just told me unfortunately because of course of the whole situation this year they couldn't drive yet so it's got zero kilometers on but i believe they are desperate to drive this on the track as soon as possible they've already hinted at me that uh potential video drive is in the planning for me so it looks like i'm going to finally also get my first ever drive in a carrera gt this is a another one that um they've built i think i believe it's going out today he said it takes around five months or so to build one from scratch like this loads of really really cool cars here so they've just told me about this apparently it has 1200 horsepower at the wheels yes that's right 1200 horsepower at the wheel so i'm very eager to drive this 911 turbo s so here apart from this beautiful tractor of course there is another audi quattro body i guess they're stripping down preparing to rebuild another one here is a body that's already been stripped down it looks like they've started uh painting it as well got a roll cage in each customer of course is choosing what they want uh inside i think we can go inside let's have a quick look all right i just want to show you guys this because there's an interesting story on this one now this audi sport quattro that the building is actually going to go to california and the owner is a friend of chris harris so chris harris if you're watching this this is your friend's car in the making i'm sure once this is done chris harris is going to do something with it i would not be surprised i'm definitely going to show it when it's finished and it will be off to california which is really really cool look at these wheel arches this is going to be a very cool one [Music] so this is an actual replica although you wouldn't really know it the guys that have built this i take my hat off to you to you gentlemen really because wow oh dear the clutch has got a racing clutch as you're going to see it's extremely difficult to drive no power steering it weighs 1000 kilograms the engine block is from a five-cylinder vw t4 campervan it has a turbo the size of my head it's currently running 700 horsepower they've turned it down for me they can turn this up to 1 000 horsepower yes 1000 boost comes in around just over 5000 around five and a half even the turbo is so big before it's just nothing nothing nothing and when the boost kicks in it's quite frankly terrifying this is going to be the best sounding car i've ever ever driven the blow off valve turbo sounds whole is the word for this car so got this seriously cool gear shifter the gear throws are extremely short between each gear and obviously because it's nice and high there's no messing around no time wasted changing gears the brakes are from a porsche gt3 rs no air conditioning it's 33 degrees outside and i'm starting to sweat quite heavily [Music] this clutch is savage it's just you're either accelerating or you're not okay yeah are you kidding me no electronics by the way absolutely nothing i've never ever felt anything quite like that so i i i don't know what to say you may have seen as well the car is signed by a certain famous driver i don't think i need to explain to you who that is he's also driven this by the way and surprisingly he liked it a lot oh that was eight i just can't put any of this into words i can't believe they can turn this up to 1 000 horsepower best thing in the world listen to that five cylinder a little blip on the throttle on the downshift i'm getting into the zone on the power i'm getting high from petrol dudes it's too good and i don't like it because my life will forever seem boring after driving this car i'm sorry i'm so excited [Music] i love it i'm so busy in the time doing something modern cars became so boring if you ask me they're nice they work well in everything but they don't give you this smile heaven absolute petrol head heaven sell your kids sell your family sell your wife i don't
