can go over let's copy that over a few times it's good for making music but it's uh it's i use it sometimes i play video games which is really cool so i'll like it's it's more immersion put your headphones on put yourself back on play like a scary game it's super fun um and it's really good for your low end like i thought that low end was fine on this track when i first like just for playback and just wearing the set pack immediately i cranked up the bass like four or five db it's really good of getting those low sub frequencies that you're just your room just can't provide for you um definitely more of like the sub that you feel so it's definitely really good for mixing good for mastering um and it's good just for listening as well but i usually don't listen with it on um like just for playback but when i'm writing i like to use it so i get that nice low end and then i roll off the low end of my master so that my ears don't get as worn out as well thanks ricken which which something i don't know there's the drops don't have enough impact i find i find that there's not enough like like coming back in slamming so i'm trying to figure out what to do here with that [Music] sense [Music] [Music] do yeah that could work you know what it might be actually it might just be that the mix is really muddy so far i mean there is no mix so it could be that it's just not really hitting properly because there's a lot of mud kick's not punching hard [Music] let's try that idea let's get like a nice let's try a nice big snare here let's go i think i also have a lot of reverb going on and there's too much reverb like i can still hear it coming from these things so i think i adjust the uh oh my gosh sidechain yeah why is it still playing there's too much feedback i think definitely too much definitely to put a gate on the leads [Music] cool uh and then yeah go back to that snare um where was it do this i forgot about this thing definitely thank you let's get some really big size here [Applause] nice big reverb all right i might have a little bit maybe we'll get a little mix down going yeah you know what let's do a quick quick mix down i just want to get it sounding a little bit more balanced a little bit more balanced because it just feels a little bit i don't know it just feels a little bit off pretty cool [Music] let's bring everything right down questions feel free to shoot them out [Music] this baseline is nice but gotta get it just right it's actually sounding pretty good it might be a little bit oh it's a little loud on here i'm going to trip the actual volume of that and down the volume on [Music] this [Music] [Music] oh there's everyone here [Music] put a pretty hard ratio and just try to grab some of those peaks all right grab the space line [Music] [Music] you have a reference track um oops it's a really good way to reference your tracks here [Music] really want to make sure i get rid of that low end um okay we're good just like to do is cut out the low of the mix and just focus on all the high end [Music] it's too loud [Music] record now the drums nice okay that's good [Music] let's do the base off for now [Music] he stuff going on here i might take something out [Music] i'm going to put all these together there's also this i'm gonna put these all together and then sidechain them to the hat there's a lot going on the master before i begin composing um no usually i don't sometimes i will put a limiter on and all right with that um but most of the time just no just keep them at the master chain pretty free and then at the end i'll put um span to watch uh you lean to see how loud it is and then i usually put a limiter on to see what it would sound like with uh with a master on it i'll do that actually after
