[Music] hey there today i'm going to be showing you six different recipes that require very minimal to no heat at all so you already know these recipes are especially perfect for summer they're all family friendly and you're going to be getting such a wide variety of things from lunches side dishes to dinner so i really hope you enjoy it and let's go get to cooking we're getting kicked off today by making the best ever pinwheels these italian style pinwheels are absolutely delicious so in this little bowl i'm making the italian creamy mixture first i added eight ounces of softened cream cheese half a cup of peppercini peppers tablespoon of italian dressing half a tablespoon of italian seasoning just a little dash of garlic powder and salt and pepper mix all of this together to combine [Music] i definitely suggest you using a large burrito-sized tortilla for this just because everything will hold in it the best so now that i have my burrito-sized tortilla on my cutting board i added about a fourth a cup of that italian creamy mixture next four slices of provolone cheese followed by salami pepperoni and ham you could really be creative with whatever you want to put in this just go ahead and add it in the last thing i did was add one leaf of romaine lettuce i rolled it up into a spiral and now i'm going to cut it into one inch pieces just like this could let these chill in your refrigerator for a couple of hours before you serve them but i just like to serve them right away because i always forget to do that and don't have time but these are perfect for lunches dinners you can make them as appetizers or bring them to parties they're absolutely delicious you really gotta try them now we're making these taco bowls and i used to make these all of the time when my husband was going through college just because they're so simple to throw together so in my instant pot i have my trevit and then i added my one large frozen chicken breast along with one cup of water and one tablespoon of taco seasoning if you don't have an instant pot of course you could just do this in a pot of boiling water on the stove and then after i'm finished with that i put the lid on top set it to sealing and i cooked this on high pressure for about 25 minutes just because my chicken breast was super frozen and it was really big after my chicken was completely cooked i just shredded it up into smaller pieces just like this now it's time to assemble our taco bowls so onto the bottom of my bowl right here i just added a mix of spinach and iceberg lettuce next of course that chicken followed by a can of drained enriched black beans a little bit of tomatoes cheese sour cream salsa ranch and fresh lime you could really add whatever toppings you want to your taco bowl but these are just my go-to toppings that i pretty much already have on hand always i really think you'd love making these taco bowls just because they really do come together in no time at all you can make them for a larger amount of people or a smaller amount of people really easily and they're super filling now we're making this capri salad and it has very minimal ingredients so to start out i have about three and a half cups of cherry tomatoes right here i'm just going to slice them in half and then place them in a medium sized mixing bowl the second thing we'll be adding to the mixing bowl is about a half a cup of fresh basil leaves you could buy fresh basil leaves from the produce section at your grocery store or you could just buy a little basil plant i just have a little basil plant in my kitchen but after i added the basil leaves i'm going to be adding about a cup and a half of these mozzarella pearls right now next you'll be adding in one tablespoon of minced garlic along with a fourth a cup of olive oil two tablespoons of balsamic vinegar or you could use white vinegar whatever you prefer but balsamic vinegar is just so so yummy and then after that you'll be adding in just a little dash of salt and pepper and then mix everything together [Music] this capri salad is so light and fresh tasting like i said previously it has very minimal ingredients you could eat this as a main dish or a side dish i personally could eat this capri salad all in one sitting it is that good now we're going to be making this layered bean dip and it is truly as good as it looks so into my medium sized bowl i'm adding my two 16 ounce cans of refried beans along with two tablespoons of softened cream cheese and you'll just mix these two ingredients together to combine [Music] now is the time you'll be adding in your one can of drained rotel go ahead and mix this all together and then it is seasoning time for the seasonings i'm using two teaspoons of chili powder two teaspoons of garlic powder a teaspoon and a half of cumin and a half a teaspoon of onion powder and then the very last thing you'll be adding in is the juice from one lime give this one last really good stir [Music] after i'm finished with my bean mixture i'm going to set it to the side now we're going to be making a really simple guacamole so to my food processor i just added four large avocados along with a half a cup of fresh cilantro a half of a white onion a tablespoon of minced garlic the juice from a half of a lime and then a half a teaspoon of salt process this all together until it is [Music] smooth [Music] over to my clear baking dish or you could use a 9x13 baking dish i'm going to pour the refried bean mixture right in there and then i'm going to spread it out as even as possible right on top of that refried bean mixture you're actually going to be adding the guacamole try not to combine them just try to place the guacamole right over the top and then of course spread it out as even as possible the layer you're going to be adding over the guacamole layer is one cup of sour cream just add it there and then i find that it works best to spread it out with a spatula just because the sour cream's a little bit more stiff the rest of the toppings i'm adding on is just one cup of mexican style shredded cheese sliced cherry tomatoes sliced green onions and black olives with a little bit of fresh cilantro you could really add whatever toppings you enjoy to the top but this is by far my all-time favorite bean dip this is just so so flavorful we actually had it for dinner on that night we just scooped these chips in it and enjoyed it just like this now we're going to be making this chipotle pasta salad so to get this one started in my pot of boiling water i'm going to add a half a pound of these noodles and cook them to the package directions you could really use any type of noodles you have on hand though if you can't find these ones but now that they're cooked i'm going to remove them from the stove and strain them in my strainer after i strain them i am going to be pouring cold water over the top of them to help them cool down just a little bit quicker [Music] well i have my noodles cooling down i'm going to begin on the dressing now so in this little bowl i just added 3 4 cup of sour cream or you could use plain greek yogurt whatever you prefer next the juice from one lime a fourth a cup of olive oil a half a tablespoon of this chipotle jarred just the juice from it though a half a teaspoon of salt a fourth a teaspoon of pepper half a teaspoon of dried oregano and then a tablespoon of minced garlic whisk this all together [Music] i have two raw ears of corn right here if you're wondering yes raw corn is completely safe to eat i'm just removing the corn just like this at this point and then i'm going to set it to the side for the rest of the veggies i just cut up one romaine head a half of a jalapeno two avocados and about two cups of cherry tomatoes into smaller pieces now over to a mixing bowl i just added our noodles that are completely cooled down now along with all of the vegetables [Music] the last few things i'm adding in is one can of drained and rinsed black beans a fourth a cup of fresh cilantro and then the dressing that we made up earlier stir all of this together and then put cling wrap over the top and let this chill in your refrigerator for at least an hour [Music] here's my chipotle pasta salad out of the fridge it has a really mild flavor about it but it also tastes super unique so if you were to serve this to anybody they would be super impressed during the summer time i absolutely love making wraps so now we're going to be making these blt wraps i'm just starting out with this bacon and i'm going to be cooking it up on my pan on the stove instead of frying bacon up like this you could always buy these already cooked bacon bits and just use these in your blt wraps so you don't have to cook anything at all but i had this bacon on hand that i had to use up so now that my bacon's cooked i just removed it to a separate plate and set it to the side now i'm just going to slice up a couple tomatoes into thinner pieces along with just slicing up iceberg lettuce [Music] i'm sure you could imagine how simple it is to assemble these wraps but i just have a burrito sized tortilla i put a little bit of mayonnaise on the tortilla and then added my bacon along with the lettuce tomatoes and then i added salt and pepper to the top of the tomatoes [Music] eating a blt in these wraps made it extra extra fun but of course you could always just toast up a couple slices of bread on the side and just make a traditional blt if you wanted to i hope you found a recipe for yourself today and as always i would really love to have you here so go ahead and subscribe down below the video and i'll see you in the next one bye for now
