Hi guys, welcome back to the channel. I have come across a notification that Microsoft & LinkedIn are offering 6 certifications together. To anyone who wants to pursue them. Absolutely free of cost. Before releasing these 6 certifications, Microsoft analyzed numerous job listings to identify the top 6 jobs whose skills are most in demand. That's why they came up with these 6 certifications. I'll share their names first. 1. Career Essentials in Administrative Professional. 2. Career Essentials in Project Managers. 3. Career Essentials in Business Analyst. 4. Career Essentials in Systems Administrators. 5. Career Essentials in Data Analyst. And finally, Career Essentials in Software Developers. You can find these 6 Career Essentials certifications on the Microsoft and LinkedIn opportunity portal. I'll add the link to it in the description. Apart from these, you'll also see other certifications. For instance, you'll see the Generative AI certification. This has been recently added because as of now, this is one of the most in-demand skills. Below that, they've highlighted two fields with the highest growth. The first is Sustainability. And the second is Cybersecurity. If you had to pursue one of these, I would recommend pursuing cybersecurity. Below that, you'll find certifications for the six in-demand skills I mentioned. And finally, if you scroll further down, you'll come across courses on foundational skills. For instance, you'll be shown courses on digital literacy. Then, there are some courses on soft skills. And finally, for those interested in entrepreneurship, there are courses available. All the certifications I mentioned, All of these will be freely available until 2025. So, on the LinkedIn Learning platform, You don't need a premium subscription. You can access them freely as long as you have an account on LinkedIn. Now, the question arises: what will you gain upon completing these certifications? So, for example, let's take the career essentials certification for a data analyst. There, you'll see that there are a total of 3 types of courses given under this certification. So, let's click on the course for part 1. Inside the course, on the left-hand side, you'll see that many chapters are provided. There are a total of 8 chapters & each one has a quiz. At the bottom, you'll see an option to take the exam. If you open the exam, you'll see that there are a total of 40 questions that you need to attempt. You have to complete all these chapters, meaning you have to watch them. Then, you have to take exam for this particular course. This will complete one course. Similarly, you will complete the remaining 2 courses, give their exams as well. Then you will receive the proper document for this certification, which will look like this. It will display both Microsoft and LinkedIn's names. So now a question arises: Which of these 6 certifications should you pursue? Before I reveal their names, let me share why I felt they are more valuable. Firstly, they have the highest number of learners, meaning more people have taken them up. Secondly, I found their videos to be better. And thirdly, these points will sound better on your resume compared to the other skills. So, these are the 3 certifications: Data Analyst, Project Manager, and Business Analytics. The number of hours for each is 9 hours, 14 hours, and 13 hours, respectively. The latest launched certification, Generative AI, is also highly recommended, which is 4.5 hours long. Anyone should do it given its high demand at the moment. These are all the certifications that I wanted to share with you.
