I have found 5 free courses that are being offered by highly reputed companies. The benefit of this will be twofold. Firstly, your skills will improve. Also, when you mention these courses on your resume, it will add value for those reputed companies. Let's begin with the first course that will teach you generative AI skills. Recently, I created an Instagram Reel in which I mentioned the top 5 skills for 2024. The first skill I highlighted was generative AI. So, one thing is clear that generative AI is in demand. But what is generative AI? You must have seen many applications nowadays, such as ChatGPT, Bard, Jukebox, and MidJourney. Many applications have emerged that provide responses in the form of text, music, and images. So, the application of generative AI is very broad and will continue to expand in the future. As an individual, if you possess skill of generative AI, you will definitely stand out among the crowd. How can you learn this? Google has created a course that everyone should do. This is a very short course, it will only take 22 minutes, but you will get to know the basics of generative AI. You don't need any technical knowledge to do this. I completed my graduation in BCom Honors and then pursued an MBA. So, I am not related to tech in any way. But still, I understood it, so you will also understand. This course is free, and you will also receive a badge for it from Google. How to enroll in this course? I will mention the link in the description. When you click on it, the page will open, and here you simply need to click on "Enroll." It will then prompt you to log in, and no additional requirements are needed. In this way, you can simply apply for it. The second course that I would recommend is related to Search Engine Optimization (SEO). What is Search Engine Optimization or SEO? When you search on Google anytime, you must have noticed that many results appear. Similarly, if you search for something on YouTube, you will find a lot of videos. You have generally observed that you always tend to choose from the top results and don't go further down. So, as a business, what I would want is for my website or videos to rank at the top. So, the search engine, namely Google or YouTube, I will optimize my website according to it. Now, for this, you have to do a lot. You need to conduct keyword research. You need to include those keywords on your website. I have learned all these things during my college days, so working on SEO is quite interesting. I would recommend you a free course. This is offered by a website named Ahrefs, which is quite popular in this domain. The course here is named "SEO Training Course." This is completely free. You can complete it within two hours. Also, there is no need to log in for this course. This course will teach you the basics of SEO, which you can apply to any website. The demand for SEO is expected to grow in the future because you will see that you can directly search on Google using voice. Or perhaps you have even noticed that now on Google, the top results start appearing based on whatever input you provide. So, how will artificial intelligence affect SEO? To understand that, it is crucial to have a basic understanding of SEO. One thing to keep in mind is that SEO is a skill that you cannot learn solely through theory; you also need to practice it. For that, I recommend a free website builder tool that I have partnered with, allowing you to create a website for free and practice SEO. The third course we will discuss will teach you the skill of digital transformation. If you plan to work in a company in the future and have no idea how the technical and digital world operates. This is a course that you must take because when you work in a company in the future, you should know how technology can be used to improve the operations of any company. Whether you are working in any department, with the advancement of technology, it is crucial for you to know how to use that technology to improve your and the company's performance. To learn this skill, the organization that can be of great help is IIM Ahmedabad. IIM Ahmedabad has a free course on their website. I will mention the link to this website in the description. When you visit this website, you will see a course called "Advanced Digital Transformation." You can complete this course within 4 weeks. This course is completely free and will be hosted on the Coursera website. To enroll, simply click on this button. Then, you will be redirected to the Coursera website, and if you are already logged in on Coursera, click here. After that, you will see this page, but here it will ask you to make the payment. But instead of making the payment, if you look a little below, you will see an "Audit" button. Click on it, and then you will be able to access the entire course for free without paying anything. I would definitely recommend that you take this course. The fourth course that you can do will teach you the skill of cybersecurity. You must have heard in the news these days about the increasing instances of hacking. Even cyber attacks and cyber terrorism, you must have heard about these things. For you, not only is this skill crucial from a career point but it is also very important for your own safety. So, make sure to learn the skill of cybersecurity. This course is offered by Infosys. Infosys' course is very good, and it will be highly relevant for you in the future. Just think, now that artificial intelligence has arrived, it can be manipulated so easily that it can give you incorrect outputs and results, and even hack your system. That is why it is super important for you to learn the skill of cybersecurity using this particular course, which is named "Cyber Security and Applied Ethical Hacking." For this, you need to go to the homepage of Infosys Springboard. First, you will start it, and it will ask you to sign some terms and conditions. You can simply agree and proceed. Then, in their search, type "cyber security," and you will see this course. You can simply click on it and click on the "Start Course" button here. This course is also completely free. After completing it, you will receive a certificate, and it will take almost 13 hours to complete. The final course we will discuss is very different from all these courses, and I have specifically included it. It is about controlling your mental health and anxiety. How to reduce your self-doubt and overcome anxiety - these things are helping me a lot these days. That's why I have included this course in the list. In this course, it's not like someone will just talk to make things better. It provides scientific approaches. You might have heard about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is CBT. By using it, you learn to practically fight anxiety. It involves many exercises that you practice regularly. I do them every day. That is why I want to share this course with you so that if any of you take it seriously, you can boost your confidence significantly. The organization offering this course is none other than Harvard. This course is mentioned on Harvard's website and is called "Building Personal Resilience." In this, you learn to manage anxiety and stress. This course is completely free, and you can complete it in a total of 12 hours. So, when you go to their website, simply log in, and then you will be redirected to the website. Inside, there are many techniques and models mentioned that will definitely help you. This will be my personal recommendation to those people who want to improve themselves in their life & want to become a more confident and brave person.
