hey guys welcome back i am so ready and excited for this video because i'm going big box plant shopping i'm going to be specifically looking for rare and uncommon plants now i haven't been big box plan shopping in a really long time so i'm very excited to see what i can find today but i've been seeing people find a lot of really really cool plants specifically variegated ones like variegated monstera variegated money tree uh variegated bearpaw alocasia the list goes on and on also i've been seeing some really cool potos being found like cebu blue and manjula um there's been some cool from being two hours long i am just going to be briefly glancing over everything for you guys and really just looking out for rare and uncommon plants [Music] all right we have some ponytail palms here and uh plenty of ferns how cool would a variegated ponytail palm b i've never heard of one but that would be pretty awesome they're 26 for these really large ones that's nice here we have some money trees now i am on the hunt for a variegated one uh i have yet to find one so keeping my eye out i know a lot of people have been finding them some little fiddles um cute little um snake plants and uh monstera here not variegated still gorgeous though lots of drastina over there all right let me see if they have any more plants inside because it's kind of slim pickings out here bromeliads here beautiful some little money trees um some snake plants over here fatonia tomato uh i'm so excited for tomato season nothing better than a fresh homegrown tomato oh they have lemon button ferns okay all right this is an uncommon find it is a manjula pothos lots and lots of variegation on that look how beautiful 5.98 i do have one um it would be cool to add another one and uh make mine a little bit bushier so that's a maybe okay first one down okay they have a few of them here look how beautiful wow look at that variegation it's so nice wow this one has really good variegation dang super white leaf gorgeous gorgeous all right yay we found one at least we still have the a lot more places to [Music] go [Music] guys amazing first stop i'm so excited now i have plenty more shops to visit so the plant hall portion of the video will be at the end like usual i'm gonna head over to our next spot [Music] alright let's see what this lowe's has super cute little succulent baskets up there hmm some ivy look at these i love what they've been doing with their awesome planters oh skindapsis that's nice there's a neon pothos back there these are 1798 for the macrame hangers um don't see anything uncommon yet have some brazil's i love them in those little terracotta pots those are super cute china doll plant crotons and syngonium hmm this is interesting this piece lily is that variation on that piece lily or is it just the way it's ah i think it's just because it's attached to the bloom [Music] [Music] now this one is somewhat uncommon it's the aquamarine rainbow moss i am seeing it more and more around here 417 not super uncommon or anything like some of these other plants we're looking for some pretty ivy creepy fig we have a kangaroo paw fern some really pretty fertonia paella pepperonis cute 14 oops need some water these are pretty i think their type of bird's nest fern for 11.98 some peace lilies [Music] here we have some trending tropicals really pretty begonia i love the pink polka dots on this begonia have a ravens easy this is more of an uncommon type of zz um these are super awesome plants for twenty dollars now i have managed to find a variegated zz before i kind of looked through and i didn't see any variegation on these um cute little cacti money trees down there here we have some more of the trending tropicals so incredibly beautiful um i will probably you guys know with my begonia madness i probably will be getting you know one of these eventually that have like the pink polka dots on them wow look at the color of that one oh so beautiful and we have lots of fiddles and snake plants i love this collection that lowes does it's called urban jungle and it has really really nice planters now i don't know what kind of philodendron this is um but i haven't seen it before here and it has like a little bit of modeling which is kind of neat i thought it might be a xanadu but i'm not sure if you guys know what kind it's it's not a mature form yet so it's kind of hard to tell but it's really really pretty um very healthy and they have a couple of them at this location and uh the price on them is 22.98 some brazil so some skin daps this down here looks like silvery and maybe oh here's a nice philodendron maybe a prince of orange [Music] first time i've seen one of those in a [Music] lowe's beautiful orchids i don't know enough about orchids to know which ones are uncommon wow the blooms on this one are totally massive oh i love the white of them they're so pretty and they have some purple ones these yellow ones are really gorgeous as well really nice all right i'm keeping my fingers crossed that the next place has more uncommon plans let's go all right money tree frosted pep oh look how cute i love that little um these little cheerful spring planters some bamboo some more money tree all right ivy china's all plants some purple waffle hmm creeping fig proteins trying to see if there's anything unusual well the only thing that's a little bit different than what i usually see is this um aurelia down here like that's kind of different and it is a balcoriana aurelia [Music] don't see that one very often some palms we have trending tropicals here um they do have some ravens easies and as you can see this is new growth on the ravens easy and when it grows new it is green and then it starts to turn the dark color it's such a cool plant i love the new growth on this one um and mine you know mine's been a fast grower oh it looks like they have a begonia maculata here as well [Music] which i haven't seen that one or is it in [Music] let's see what this one is there's one that's called begonia my sweet angel and it has like the two um leaves kind of go together like a pear and it it looks like angel wings i'm wondering if this is that one it doesn't say what kind it is but that one's really pretty for 20. [Music] one monstera here looking a little sparse um you know it looks like some of these haven't received their full uh you know spring restocks in yet but um yeah this monster is beautiful it's only 14.95 can you believe that that is the best deal ever really [Music] gorgeous some more of these gorgeous urban jungle plants with the planters um philodendron prince of orange i think some more of these neat philodendrons allocation poly some ivy and pothos [Music] wow this one's really pretty isn't that beautiful great colors lots of pailia pepperonis um here we have some sangonium and dracina okay like it seems like they have a lot of their spring stuff that still needs to come in but um they do have a lot of amazing plants it's usually the same kind of stuff that i've been seeing around so i'm keeping my fingers crossed that i find something at this next spot wow there's so much stuff here i'm excited to see if they have any rare plants some peace lilies and orchids wow these bromeliads are beautiful those pink flowers oh my goodness so so nice again just so many beautiful orchids [Music] some more orchids ponytail palm fiddly fig have some dracaena really pretty peace lilies succulents cute little planters um african violets here don't see any variegated ones like that would be a good find succulents down there as well some more orchids beautiful money trees [Music] let's see i don't see any variegated ones some nice-sized bird of paradise 426 some fertonia and ivy ponytail palm some more of the trending tropical begonias they are 20. [Music] fatonias and bird's nest fern hmm different vodka now this is a nice fern that i don't see all the time i'm not sure what kind it is but the leaves are just beautiful it doesn't it's not labeled absolutely stunning plants some gorgeous syngonium we have friendship plant this looks like a berry illusion syngonium lots of little stunning baby plants here but i don't see anything super uncommon hmm kangaroo paw fern over there beautiful fiddles they do have some of these um raindrop pepperonis those are pretty uncommon for 20. all right still so many places to visit um there's a home depot nearby i'm gonna check it out and see what they have before heading over to our next spot [Music] all right looks like we have some stuff here excited to see what we have going on [Music] some bromeliads oh some ravens easies down there for 20. looks like they do have a good assortment of stuff here so let's take a look oh look at this 24 for this huge huge succulent beautiful variegated elephant bush some some aloe and here we have an easter cactus you can tell because of the shape of the leaves and also that it blooms around easter time goodness they have a bear paw i recently just got two of them or else i would definitely be getting one of these cute little bear paws for myself now people have been commenting finding variegated versions at home depot and lowe's so i'm going to be keeping my eye open for some of those variegated ones [Music] there's another one not variegated though wow some cute little lip thoughts over here [Music] oh look how cute this guy is he's pretty some more little succulents a nice assortment of succulents here i think this one here is called watch chain some really really nice aloe the one i recently got is this one i believe and just look at the way that the aloe looks i love it some more beautiful succulents and easter cactus type of holiday ah get out no it's not oh it's a variegated bear paw oh pinch me oh my goodness oh my gosh it's the very end of your bomb i'm dying i'm dying i'm dying look oh and it doesn't look like the whole thing is very good but this one definitely is oh my gosh i'm so excited and so happy about this look at that oh he's so fuzzy and cute and variegated get out [Music] ah oh my goodness oh look it even says on here that it is wow i did not think i would be finding one of these today i am so so happy and so excited oh my word i can't believe it i cannot believe it that is incredible well that was pretty exciting oh my goodness these are cool look at this one baby toes [Music] that's kind of neat should i get it i think i think i'm gonna get it what's up with me lately in succulents normally it's not my like my jam but lately that bear paw got me onto something all right that was absolutely incredible now let's see what this home depot has looks like they have quite a bit of stuff here hopefully i can find some uncommon plants this will be my last stop for today i think here we have some aetheriums lots of dracina let's see over here beautiful bird of paradise have a fiddle really big zzz over here so pretty for it's 64. these huge fiddles are 64. as well oh my gosh i almost just had a heart attack because i saw this and i thought it was a variegated money tree but it i don't think it is i think it's just like damage from watering or something oh i've got my hopes up there for a second we have some more zzz's really pretty recorded line they have some big plants here large sized crotons there are 64 big bushes we have some more money trees line peace lily josina i'm sorry different baking or agua nema polka dot plant little spider plant coffee plants green bean pepperonis over there hmm does it look like they've i was here not long ago doesn't look like they've gotten any new stuff [Music] so [Music] all right guys i'm so excited about the plants that i found today um i think i'm gonna put a pause on it but i'm still like itching to do more plant shopping and find some more plants so i'm going to pick this back up tomorrow okay so day two let's get started i'm so excited yesterday i had some really really wonderful finds um so i'm keeping my fingers crossed that i find some equally amazing plants today i'm gonna check out two lows at least and then probably a walmart at the end now our walmart's kind of a hit or miss but i'm keeping my fingers crossed okay day two let's see what we can find some cute little succulents little money trees down there hmm all right wow these are beautiful these like pink fattonias look at the size of those leaves so so awesome nice big aloe for 12. don't see anything super uncommon on this side i love these like these little planters these urban jungle ones so cute look that's a coffee plant um and these are 12.98 syngonium tradiscantia you don't see this one maybe as often as other ones [Music] um beautiful aglionema back there isn't that nice 22.98 some shaflera [Music] really cute reasonably priced little plants here most of them look like ones that i see you know pretty regularly here in the big box shops in charlotte just taking a quick look to see because sometimes they'll have little hidden treasures you know peace lilies i did spot this now i don't know if it's very actual variegation or not but that on the leaf but it's not throughout the rest of the plant african violets i didn't see any variegated ones um pretty anetherium this begonia is so pretty it's not beautiful part of the trending tropicals bromeliad see what we have over here some palms dracaena of paradise over there just looks like some regular stuff all right so i'm over here looking in their succulents and i found a variegated a puntia now i do see them from time to time but it's more on the uncommon side of a type of cactus and they're normally very expensive and like the specialty nurseries and look how pretty this variegated cactus is oh he's beautiful yes i love the pink on it there's a few of them here [Music] i just noticed these over here hmm lots of cute succulents still kind of see i'd love to find some of these uncommon ones that everyone's been finding maybe we're just not getting them here in north carolina yet [Music] so it looks like they actually have some really nice stuff over in this area um we have some peace lilies i think i see variegation yes it has some variegation as well it's not on all of them most of them aren't um variegated and don't have it look this one has some like these don't have any kind of variegation on them and they're all the same like they have the same planters and stuff and neither do these but these two do that's so cool [Music] i don't know what it means like if it's not a domino piece lily but it has variation on there gorgeous aglianema now they do have this prince of orange these are so cute um have the heteroaceum or the scandan's philodendron and then some dracina i think this is ponytail palm so over here they have some a nice assortment of stuff it's been kind of picked through but look at this gorgeous staghorn fern i mean it is so it is so so beautiful um and these are all 22. some pretty calatheas here bird's nest fern monster deliciosa peperomia frost they also have the like fuzzy calathea where you touch it and it's really fuzzy it's cute lots of succulents and cacti i don't see anything super unusual [Music] [Applause] [Music] these little guys have been kind of speaking to me lately i just think they're so cute there's ones that look like this but they're orange so i've been keeping my eye out for those but i think these are adorable as well little domino cactus it's kind of a good find yeah they have some nice stuff here [Music] [Music] so these peace lilies are kind of unique they're called sensation peace lilies and they're so so beautiful like look at the these leaves the foliage is gorgeous of course it has these like absolutely awesome blooms so amazing so this is a good find as well sensation peace lilies and they are 22. okay final stop on my two day plant shopping adventure i'm going to check out a walmart i don't have the best luck with walmarts around here with house plants but you never know so i'm gonna keep my fingers crossed i'm gonna go see what walmart has and then i'll be done i'm pooped i had some great shopping i've found some amazing plans crazy excited to share with you at the plant hall portion of this video but yeah we're gonna look check out walmart and then i'm good for today so let's go i am so surprised that walmart has all these plants here i can't believe it look at this cute teddy bear vine or try to scantia oh the leaves are so fuzzy they're cute and purple or you know like this beautiful dark color on the backsides of the leaves uh it's about 15 absolutely amazing and they have quite a few hanging plants um this strawberry begonia really beautiful and they have some ferns wow i can't wait to show you guys all the plants that they have here they have dracaena um and then these are all really well priced i mean about twelve dollars amazing succulents everywhere i'm just so surprised that they have all these plants plenty of parlor palm and sansevieria peace lily this agave here is beautiful and these aloe are massive parlor palms some cute little baby plants here just so surprised at the assortment that they have some antherium you have to kind of look through because some of them have got cold wow look at all of these oh so cute little succulent gardens absolutely love it gosh look at these oh my gosh all these cute little cacti some chifflera some more dracaena fiddly fig absolutely gorgeous i'm shocked just shocked they have any kind of plants here cute little cacti now these succulents are so huge and they're only about seven dollars i can't believe it wow some of the biggest succulents i've seen oh my goodness look at all of these we have some syngonium some waffle plant oh look at this purple passion it's the most purple one i've seen the leaves are so fuzzy i can't believe they have this at a walmart oh my gosh that is tempting three dollars oh oh my goodness okay that's a maybe for sure oh look they have some aluminum plants here as well really really nice all sorts of succulents some pepper gosh i can't believe they have obtuse folia here rex begonias dark mystery oh my gosh silver squill that is wild ooh look at this variegated um calancoe 374 such a good deal now i don't know enough about succulents enough that's rare oh my gosh this silver squirrel's so cute oh she's flowering as well that one's tempting i've i've never seen one at a walmart or really like a big box shop before so for that price i may have to get it oh look look at that little aloe so adorable i am just really surprised at all the plants they have here wow cute little syngoniums again aluminum plant peace lilies so nice oh my gosh they have begonia maculata why do i hear i haven't seen this since last year um you know with the trending tropicals collections now these are 16 such a good deal they need a little bit of tlc but i mean these are great growers in my experience look at the back sides of the leaves so beautiful big big gorgeous leaves that's a great great find if i didn't already have two i would get one they have cute little bonsai some more little succulents money tree let's see what else they have going on here um lots of aloe definitely have some nice orchids going on look at all these succulents gracious so so nice [Music] look at this cute little peperomia it doesn't say what kind it is but you know about three dollars like the other plants [Music] lots of little violets wow so nice surprising assortment all right walmart look at all these plants oh love it oh my gosh i am so incredibly happy with the plans that i found definitely found some uncommon and hard to find plants which i wasn't really expecting to find anything but i walked away with quite a haul i'll definitely be doing one of these videos again maybe once you know spring is fully here and these big box shops would get in some more of their springtime inventory i can kind of do some do some digging and see what kind of plants i found but now is the plant hall portion of the video i cannot wait to share them with you so first up is this beautiful beautiful manjula pothos how gorgeous is this this is very you know uncommon hard to find it was 5.98 such a good deal now look at these leaves i am completely obsessed with the variegation so so gorgeous and you know what is interesting is it looks like it even has some i don't know if the camera will show but in person this looks like a gray color or a blue type of color um so nice and it has that nice like chunky variegation there i do have one of these and um it you know i found it to be kind of a slow grower i don't know if it's just that one that i have so i'm excited to see how this one does um maybe i'll put the two of them together and see if they can turn into a nice big plant but this one has lots of new growth happening absolutely stunning so so beautiful and as i go through and share for you know what i mean all right so next up is uh this beautiful can't believe i found it variegated bearpaw oh some of you guys left in the comments and said that you had found variegated ones so i've been looking i can't believe i finally found one i mean these bear paws are just adorable succulents um they have like just the cutest little squishiness to them they're so incredibly fuzzy and then this one has like that beautiful beautiful as you can see here that beautiful variegation like this one just has tons and tons of plants in it so if i wanted to propagate it i could pretty easily um absolutely beautiful obsessed and while i was there i also picked up this really cute baby toes succulent i don't know i just thought it looked really really neat i just love the again like kind of cool squishy it's just so weird but also so cool okay if you look here it has pink in the bottom which is so nice it does look like it needs some water as you can tell here it's pretty puckered so i'm going to give it some water but day one all right so that was day one now for day two the first one that i found was this one it is a variegated opuntia and it is amazingly variegated i mean parts of it are almost completely white it is so cool um i think i got it for five or six dollars you see them at the nurseries and a plant like this is much much more expensive than you know five or six dollars when they and i love with variegated plants normally when they put out new growth they're kind of pink and as you can see here this one is doing that as well and it has some really cute pink new growth so awesome so the next two aren't super uncommon or anything i was just shocked to find them at walmart this was the most vibrant of these that i have ever seen in person and it is this purple passion how beautiful is this plant i don't have one of these i'm constantly constantly eyeing as you can see it is a just luxurious purple color um and they're very velvety leaves i love the shape of the leaves even the stem is coated in just like the purple fuzz this one is really healthy has lots and lots of new growth i was really excited to just go ahead and get this plant here is my last plant it is a silver squirrel or a leopard lily and you can see why they are called leopard lily because it has that cute little leopard print on the leaves and this one is blooming oh my goodness such a cutie i see them around from time to time um i have not seen these at anyone before this one was 395 or 394 and i just had to get it uncommon for walmart you know to find one of these there and it has three different plants in there um if you have any care tip suggestions all of that is greatly greatly appreciated so yeah those were the plants that i found i'm really excited with
