5 Things You'd Be Surprised to Know About Me

hi it's mine Bialik again I'm here to talk about five things that you'd be surprised to know about me one of the neat things about being part of crack nation is I get to share things about myself that you may not know about however a lot of people probably think they know me pretty well from the things that I write so I decided to tell you five things about me that you'd be very very surprised to know and even people who know me really well are often surprised to hear these things so here we go the first thing you'd be surprised to know about me is that I'm very insecure and I don't say that so that people will say oh you shouldn't be insecure you're awesome I say it because I'm really insecure I worry a lot about what I look like and what I sound like and how my hair is and what my posture is like and why I'm not like other people whose lives seem better than mine this is something that I've experienced I guess my whole life and I used to feel really anxious about being insecure but now that I'm older um I don't know I've kind of gotten more used to it and I know that there are certain things I can do to make myself feel better about Who I am and what I look like and what my hair looks like and what my postures like and sometimes there's not a lot I can do about it the second thing you'd be surprised to know about me is that I grew up in a very small house and how small was that house the house was so small that we only had one bathroom and there were four people living in my house so I lived in a house with one bathroom until I was fifteen at that time my brother was 19 and my parents were however old parents seemed when you're 15 and all the things that are true about people who grew up with one bathroom until they're 15 are true about me I'm very efficient in the bathroom I don't spend a lot of time in there and I often do a lot of my like grooming and getting pretty outside of the bathroom I always manage to find a space in my bedroom or the living room where I actually get ready because I grew up where you didn't have a lot of time to yourself in the bathroom I love cars and in particular I love sports cars I drive a stick-shift which is something that people who love cars tend to do when I was a teenager I wanted a Ford Falcon a 1965 Ford Falcon when I got my driver's license and my parents said absolutely not so I stay very very first world protest and I didn't get a car till I was 17 most kids that I grew up with got cars at sixteen and I just borrowed my parents car for a whole year and then I got a stick-shift Saab the fourth thing you'd be surprised to know about me is that I love factories whenever I'm in a town or touring anywhere if there's a factory tour to take I will take it my favourite tour was the Louisville Kentucky baseball museum Hall of Fame it's a great factory tour because they show how the bats are made they cut off the ends I just love seeing how all the pieces of something fit together so I love factories the final thing that you would be surprised to know about me especially because I'm a neuroscientist is that I am really really freaked out creeped out grossed out by spiders lizards snakes any creepy crawly cockroaches anything like that really freaks me out and yes I've dissected a human brain several times that doesn't make it any better for there to be any movement by a creepy crawly creature on the floor so yeah I don't like killing bugs or killing anything at all um so I'm the lady who either will try and save a spider or scream for someone to do it for me those are five things you didn't know about me and I hope you feel like you know me better because now you do
