expecting to be refreshed and awake by 6:00 a.m. doing yoga and completed by have that completed by 7:00 a.m. and having breakfast shortly thereafter but our plans were derailed and that's life yeah this is day two is it this is day three already it's our third day uh here because we arrived on Thursday uh and today is Saturday yeah so it's going fast already yeah it's our first full day at the resort though first full day at the resort mhm second full day in Kenya yes so it it's like two and a half days I wasn't really saying nothing yesterday or the day before it was it was a long journey over yeah I would say this is the full uh the first full day of sleep yeah after I mean yeah because this is like even though what it was this is the first day where I actually slept for over a couple hours I feel refreshed feel like I'm ready to go to the gym but we don't want to miss the buffet because it's included in the deal it's included in the room fair so and because truth be told we don't know if we're going to be able to use our credit cards again we don't have cash we can't afford the meals that are already so we have to skip the meals that have already been paid for so we need more people to subscribe and like to this channel so we can afford our food now um we just got to I got to figure out which of my cards work overseas because they've been tripping like my bank has been saying oh you don't have to put a travel notification our system is updated and enhanced to where you don't have to tell us where you're going we can track you anywhere lo and behold my car declines so um yeah let's uh let's uh see how it goes all right sign off it's a nice day after all that rain and it's going to rain the whole time the whole time we're here it's supposed to rain right look that last time we left in we came in August it was warm but it was a little cold now it's hot season raining elino came through I thought he was only in the Caribbean and Mexico I know but he decided to come to Africa so that's where everybody's from here cold on got it I can't tell you really what it is but you got it make up in the morning you got dresses in your closet but you grab them tight is the coconut pumpkin we actually got some of this for ourselves left the lid off CL that back back off looking forward to trying it we have some Chi here being freshly made look at that fresh made Chi some sili red beans beautiful I'm not sure exactly what that cream is is it coconut on the beans what is the white stuff is it coconut we've got several other stations here so we have this creamed which seems to be like a creamed veg so vegetarian so I grabbed some of this as well we got the chickp carass shout out to the selection here if anyone knows if these are traditional like sahili or kenion thank you so much like chicken stir fry thank you please let us know if this is kind of considered to be traditional some of these obviously not things like the baked beans oh thank you this is very British thank you we have some delicious roast potatoes here which we've um helped ourselves too and hopefully will enjoy what do we have here ooh Tomatoes it looks like with cheese very nice very nice we don't eat sausages so we SK that Perfection they appear to have a c station quite surprising all the fixing load on offer very Continental over here we have an alet station you can see they're currently making alet for everyone we grabbed a couple there's an assult of fresh uh juices over here by the cereal we've got dried cereal infused water Pion fruit watermelon juice castan juice as well as a banana and mango s yeah which we've got for the hubby we have a cold salad bar including cold cuts the only thing I grabbed from here are the tomatoes and the Cucumbers got a PD station must always offer that some cereal in the morning loads of bread all all the gluten stuff I can't have oh that's very generous gluten-free bread actually available nice we have a waffle station no waffles currently available but um I think they make them on demand pastries for everyone who can enjoy pastry in the morning unfortunately that's not me but those that are fortunate enough the tea some beautiful and a beautiful assortment of fruit every color of the rainbow and that's the so I hope you've enjoyed tour of mael at Swahili Beach [Music] salt black pepper let it be known that I brought my our own sea salt which incidentally at Dalles International Airport they tested as cocaine they tested to for to see if it was cocaine but obviously it was sea salt hence why we're um the resort in the resort that is by reservation only and they told me that they do two seatings per night the first is at 7:00 the second seating is at 9:00 so no walk-ins take note mhm I'm just going to wash my hands [Music] over [Music] toones so we're just below zanzi bar this is where the boat is just on top of me this is an entirely different restaurant called baharini and this one as well is reservation only 2 seating 7:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. one table one bill they're not messing around like what you guys do out in the west we're not interested in dividing we're not interested in um in giving you 15 different receipts but it looks like a really nice menu look at that loads of options tacos humas pasta Swahili inspired vegetarian right up my alley exactly what I need ooh a tuna salad oh yes oh yes to the tuna salad gorgeous Pizza catch up the day that's what I'm talking about that's so you gorgeous okay I think we've done capturing these two restaurants and I think there's called come down with me yeah the UK being our favorite version guilty pleasure so oh that is marvelous panopta is sweet delicious sweet but it's nice wow is that is that a mint leaf on there yeah you want it wow wow so we give this a go semi though yeah I'm just I'm still wow I've not had panacotta in like over a decade last time I was in London when I had a panacotta it didn't leave a huge impression on me so it's not been one of my favorite desserts kind of like tiramisu cuz unless you get it really right it's not great so good really Dum dumb so good we don't really do this you know they said anywhere they said that had we called beforehand they would have come to collect us from the hotel come to collect us take us to eat and come back and bring us back I say we got our money's worth Mr Jones I say you are saying Canada sucks the US and Canada don't know anything about customer service anymore I know it used to be the gold standard but it's not anymore that was customer service that was crazy customer to free fruit platter to a ride in a nice new vehicle back to your hotel yeah it's a no I don't know where that's possible it's a no-brainer that was amazing so yeah you know it's all relative to where you are but we know but that's still like even though you know you got a good meal and good service like when do you get a free ride back home that part well they helping out all the all the uh businesses around there I guess doing that so I'll just say this for me the entire experience with A1 wow Sayo M all right so now it's time to relaxed it's not even 7 and we're back yeah this is how we are even though we could have used the walk but yeah we are we had already said yeah we we did we've already committed to waking up at 7: tomorrow to go gym and do
