5 Simple Steps to Fix No Bootable Device on Acer Laptop

hi guys welcome back to my channel for today's video i will show you how to fix a problem that you guys might be facing as well with your acer laptop i am not a technician or an expert with technical problems with computers but i i still can show you the basic troubleshooting on how to fix this kind of problem with acer laptops specifically so what i have here is acer aspire 3 and as you can see this is showing me no bootable device so at first i was panicking um but then again i have found out that there's a basic troubleshooting that we can do to fix this so i will show you how to fix this issue in just five simple steps so just keep on watching guys [Applause] alright so let's get started as you can see there is no bootable device error here so what we need to do is to switch it back off then switch it on again then while switching it on or pressing the power button hit on f2 then this uh this window will show up this is the information page then uh go to on on the top portion of the window you will see information main advanced security would exit those are the options there go to main and check if your system time is correct system date and time actually is correct so let's see it says here it's 9 13 while on my clock it's 12 40 so we'll have to change this [Music] hit on enter all right [Music] okay so we need to hit f5 or f6 to change that time [Music] there you go it's changing so it has to be 12 so this is military time guys [Applause] then we need to hit enter to go to the minutes section then hit on f5 again to change it to the right minute so it's 12 40. there you go it's been changed hit on enter and my system date is just right it's october 30. [Music] because if this is wrong then that might be the cause of the problem so you need to make sure that the system died time and date are just correct and hit on enter then we need to go to boot this time so just using your um arrow button then go to boot as you can see there is a boot mode and it's uefi then change this to legacy so we need to hit enter then go to legacy using your your arrow button then hit on enter then hit on enter to click ok then enter again it says the available boot devices will not change until early so hit on enter then go to exit [Music] then hit enter just click on yes or choose yes then it will now reboot let's see if this will work [Applause] there you go so it starts up this time it's booting now let's just wait until it completes it completely yeah it completely boots up so there you go so it's okay now let's see if this functions well there you go guys so it's been fixed so uh that's the basic troubleshooting on how to uh fix that kind of uh error all right so thank you for watching guys if you like this video give this video a thumbs up share and subscribe to our channel for newest videos or for our next videos you
