Hi everyone! In today's video, I'm taking you on a tour of some must try local SF restaurants. It's no secret that businesses have been taking a huge hit recently, so to help, I want to share with you some restaurants that I think you'll love just as much as I do. So here are five must-try local San Francisco restaurants that are open for take-out, delivery, or pickup. Let's get into it. Hello everyone! We just made it to our first stop which is Dumpling Specialist, but first -- Oh I'm so excited to eat today, and I have some really exciting spots for you guys. So Dumpling Specialist is a restaurant in the Sunset and they're really known for their xiao long bao, and they're also known for their sheng jian bao, but they also sell like Taiwanese breakfast items, which obviously is very close to my heart. So you know I had to order at least one Taiwanese breakfast item, and I think if you know me you would know what it is. So the first item I got is xiao long bao, which they're really really well known for so of course I had to put in an order. Alright here's my xiao long bao. It's actually really cheap. Five pieces for like five dollars ish. I'm not even gonna bother with the vinegar and all that stuff because I need to eat these as soon as possible. Oh yeah, definitely still has some soup in there. Mmm. They're just like little pockets of heaven honestly. The skin is nice and thin, and the meat inside, so savory and delicious. Mmm. That hits the spot. Now I'm gonna try one of these sheng jian bao. Look at it. It looks so nice and crispy on the bottom. Mmm. It's juicy in there too. It's got that nice crunch on the bottom, and that same delicious meaty pork flavor. Mmm. And the bun part is nice and fluffy. Mmm. I do wish they had topped it with like some green onion because usually I like my sheng jian bao with topped with green onion but still pretty good. Alright so last but not least of course we have the fan tuan which is the Taiwanese breakfast item that I was hinting at earlier so basically it's a sticky rice like roll on the outside and then on the inside there's gonna be like you tiao, which is Chinese doughnut and pork sung and pickled veggies. Usually that's like what it has, so let's see what they put inside this one. Mhm, so crunchy. So you can see inside there that they definitely have the you tiao, it's like huge, really crunchy, and then they have the pork floss in there as well and a little bit of pickled veg. Oh my gosh, this is so good. Alright onto stop number two. So we just stopped by the second stop, and no, it's not just boba. I actually got food but I did grab this and I wanted to share it with you guys cuz if you didn't already know this is my favorite boba spot in the Bay Area, which is called Urban Ritual. Now they have two locations one in San Francisco and one in San Mateo. And my favorite drink there is the matcha toffee with creme brulee pudding. So yeah I had to stop by there because it's just literally the best. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. I always have to get the creme brulee putting in it because it's just life-changing. Oh how I've missed you. Okay enough of that. Let's get into the food. So I stopped by Burma Love, which is actually under the same owners as Burma Superstar which is a really popular and famous Burmese restaurant in the Bay Area. And I've only been to Burma Love once before but their food is really good. So I got a chicken kebat with jasmine rice, and then I also got a tea leaf salad, which is probably like the best salad ever. If you never tried tea leaf salad, you have to try it. I've never had anything like it. It's so unique. Look at that. It looks so fresh. I'm realizing that this might get a little messy so I'm just gonna mix a little bit of the tea leaf in there and then squeeze some of the lemon on there as well. This is not exactly the proper way to eat it but we gotta make do with what we can in the car, so let's dig in. Mmm. It's so fresh, so good. Mmm! The taste is truly unlike anything I've ever had before. This is such a great dish. It's like healthy because you have all the fresh vegetables and then you get a nice crunch from the sunflower seeds and peanuts, and then the citrus from the lemon. It's just, as a combination, it's such a great dish. Oh my gosh. Mmm. I love it. Oh my gosh I just remembered that my friend actually got me this for Christmas, which is a table that you can hook onto your steering wheel and it acts as like a surface where you can like eat you know like a dining table for your car! Isn't that so cool? Alright. Anyway, it's time to finally dig into this chicken kebat. So chicken kebat is like it's a Burmese dish and it's usually served with onions, tomatoes, cilantro and they also added a lemon wedge on the side to squeeze the lemon juice on there. So I'm gonna add some rice to my dish and I'm gonna dig on in. Mmm so fragrant and aromatic, like all those spices on the chicken. Chicken is super juicy and tender. Oh man you can't go wrong with this. And the rice just balances it out like perfectly. Oh my gosh. Alright I'm gonna save the rest of this for when I get home and let's go to stop number three. Alright so for this third spot, I thought it might be fun to switch up the scenery. I thought maybe you guys were getting bored of my car. So we are at Coit Tower/Telegraph Hill area, which has a really really nice amazing view of the whole city. So let me just show you guys around. This is a really great place to hang out and get a nice view. But anyway, enough of that. Let's get into the food. So for the third stop I went to Deli Board, which is an amazing sandwich shop in S.F They're known for like, East Coast deli style. So this sandwich is called the Leroy Brown and I'm so excited to show you guys this amazing sandwich. Okay ready? Oh my gosh. Look at that sandwich! It's loaded! Alright so this sandwich is packed with so much stuff I don't remember everything that's in it. I'm gonna read it off my phone. So in the Leroy Brown, we have Romanian pastrami, turkey, kosher salami, yellow American cheese, pepperocini blend, pickles, board sauce, which is of course their own signature sauce and also on the Dutch crunch bread. Oh my God. I love Dutch crunch. But anyway without further ado, let's get into the sandwich. This is so incredibly flavorful like those pieces of Dutch crunch bread are literally packed to the brim with flavor. You got that pastrami going on it's like smoky, delicious and then you definitely get that pepperocini taste as well which I love, the richness from the cheese. Wow. Oh my God. Like every single thing they put in the sandwich works together so well. They all live together harmoniously in between two pieces of Dutch crunch bread. I've never seen a more perfect sandwich. So we're three stops in and we got two more spots to go, so let's head over to the fourth stop. Okay so we just stopped by the fourth spot, which is Tony's Pizza in North Beach. So what's really cool about ordering at Tony's is that you could order on the phone and they give you an estimated time of when you have to be there and then they would call you when your order is ready and you could just pick it up on the curbside and they would just bring it to your car. So that's really awesome and made it really convenient. So let's open this pizza up shall we? Oh my God. Look how huge that is! So this is the New Yorker which is, I think, maybe one of their most popular pizzas that they serve there. And it's loaded with pepperoni, fennel sausage, Calabrese sausage, ricotta, mozzarella hand-crushed tomato, oregano, garlic. It's literally been so long since I had a good slice of pizza, so I'm so excited for this. Look at that. Their slices are super huge. Oh my gosh. Okay. Mmm I love their dough so much like it's so crispy on the outside but chewy on the inside and it's just like the perfect vehicle for all the toppings on top. Mmm and that sausage is so flavorful along with the pepperoni. It's very very slightly spicy, just a little bit. The ricotta is super creamy and rich. I love ricotta on pizza. Mmm. I can't even explain what this is doing to me right now. I'm just -- I need a moment. Woo! Four stops down, one more to go and you definitely don't want to miss this last one. Okay so our last and final stop is Kagawa-Ya Udon, which is an amazing udon place on Market Street. And I am in love with their fresh made udon, specifically this bowl that I'm about to show you. So let's open it up. Alright so this dish that I have here is the cold udon. Oh my gosh. Immediately you get hit by a strong fragrance of those bonito flakes. And along with the bonito flakes, it's also topped with some seaweed, a lemon wedge, green onions, I think that's like minced up radish as well as tempura flakes. And of course the star of the toppings is that jiggly perfect soft-boiled egg. Oh my gosh. It's so satisfying, It's like throwing it back. [music playing] And it also comes with this light broth. I can't really show you guys without spilling it in my car. But basically what we do is we pour it in. And then we also squeeze the lemon and we're gonna mix it all up. But first let's break this egg. Oh my gosh. Look at that amazing yolk. Oh my God! I'm literally crying over here. Okay and now we're gonna mix it all together. Such a beautiful bowl. Oh my gosh, look at those springy bouncy noodles. Have you ever seen such a beautiful sight? Did I just quote Lizzie McGuire Movie? But anyway, it's about time that I stop rambling and just eat this beautiful gloriousness. You guys, the noodles are so chewy and they make them fresh like it seriously has the perfect amount of bounce and chew. That dashi broth is coating it nice and perfectly. You get that flavor in every single bite. Do you see these noodles? Do you see how perfect they are? They are literally perfection! Do you see this face? This is the face of someone who's eaten six places in one day. Oh! I'm so full. So that's gonna do it for today's video. I really hope you enjoyed it and I hope that I encouraged you to show some love to your local restaurants even if you're not in San Francisco, wherever you are, just show some love to your local businesses.
