5 IN 1 RUST-OLEUM SPRAY CAN PAINT JOB. DESERT TAN WITH AMAZING RESULTS!

in today's video I use the Rustoleum 5 in1 gloss protective enamel to paint the em2 Civic let's go ahead and get started with this [Music] video God bless you and welcome to the channel if you're new here please click that subscribe button we're going to be painting the em2 with this desert tan color with the Rustoleum 5 in1 it's pretty nice stuff uh this is the advanced formula with a really nice nozzle it actually has a lock mode so you don't spray it by accident and then you've got different setting adjustments you can do so this is going to be really cool we are in the gorillas pro paint booth this is the new and improved version which will be linked in the description huge thank you goes to them for sending me this one uh I had to sell the other one when we moved cuz we did not have enough room in the U-Haul for all of that so I'm super thankful that they sent me this one and it has the fume extractor on the front which is different than the last one we have the vivor explosion proof fan to to suck out the fumes it's on low right now but it gets really loud so that's why it's on low right now I'll turn it on higher once we actually go to paint so that way it sucks the fumes out it has the EPA filters on the side uh we tied it down yesterday me and my son got this thing unboxed got it Dr dragged out and then uh blew it up now one thing to make a note of is you need the zippers closed on the side for it to inflate but then when it inflates it doesn't take very long I think it's like a minute and a half is what it takes to actually inflate it's pretty good we got it all staked down with the Rope and everything and then it says not to use it on a windy day well last night we were running out of light so we got the car sanded down the best we could got it all prepped and put it in there and then deflated it on top of it so that way we could just come out in the morning and hook up the fans and get to spraying so I went ahead and got it all prepped got the windows all taped off got the plastic all draped where it needs to be and we are ready to spray so I will be spraying this in the lighting that I have if it does get darker at times that's because there's storm clouds coming everything's been trying to come up against us for this paint job I've was supposed to have this done like 4 days ago but I had to call the septic guy out he had to come pump but we didn't know where the tank Lids were so we had to dig those up and then he got stuck in our yard um and it was just crazy chaos one thing after another but God provided a paint booth for me to paint it in so we were even able to pray over Chris who pumped the septic tanks out while he was stuck we talked about God and all the things in our lives and I really hope we help strengthen his faith and everything just worked out perfect because Eddie ended up making a royaltyfree channel so link will be in the description if you guys want some royalty free beats for your YouTube channel I'll be using it on this video and everything just worked out so perfect so I'm going to go ahead and get the car wiped down and then we will get to paintting I hope you guys enjoy all right so I got the car wiped down with some rubbing alcohol and it is nice and dust free so we have the vior explosion proof exhaust F pulling fumes out hooked up to the air extraction so I'm going to go ahead and start laying some paint [Music] on [Music] sh [Music] [Music] St [Music] [Music] sh [Music] [Music] sh you [Music] [Music] h all right so here it is has a pretty good gloss finish all all the way through it's really glossy you can see my reflection pretty good looks awesome so I still have 1 and 1/2 cans left over there and for the people that don't know I Lay My coats thick I don't know if youve seen but I was making it to where I did a thin coat and then went right back over it I didn't wait a long time between coats and it just comes out with really good results that way you can do the let it do a thin coat let it dry 5 10 minutes then hit it with a second um and go all the way through but you waste more cans doing that you'll probably need more than seven um but that's why I do it kind of thick you got to know your limits though cuz you will get runs also with this particular paint um if you let off too abruptly you'll get this run so this right here is actually a mistake on my part because I wasn't Fanning it out and then letting off I was just letting off and it left a run there so learn from that that mistake it's a really easy mistake to make especially with these new cans I didn't ever have that problem with the other ones but these particular ones are a lot more powerful and I think they work a lot better at spraying it and atomizing it better but you can definitely see this thing has tons of held inss all the way through but it still looks a lot better than it did the silver that was on it was sunf faded and chipping off the clear was gone so this is definitely a much better look for it and it looks really nice so I'm going to let this dry five five more minutes roughly take all the tape and plastic off while it's tacky so that way it doesn't peel any paint off and always peel away from the paint so if you're doing this one you're peeling down if you're peeling this one you're peeling this way and if you're peeling up you're peeling to the center just try to go to the center with it because it's really easy to mess up a nice wet paint job so uh that's just what I do so I'm going to go ahead let it dry a little bit longer and then we're going to peel [Music] [Music] it [Music] also a quick update on the ep3 still holding up as of January 2024 it'll have been a year since I first spray can painted it on the channel and it's still looking really really good all right so a quick rundown of the booth before we run out of light it has these little straps you can hang things from like uh light bars so that way you have light in here so we could actually put shop lights up in here and we've got the EPA filters on both sides it has the air flow coming in back here and back here and it has a zipper so you can just walk out what I like to do is use use the uh leaf blower to blow out all the leaves and all the junk in here before painting but definitely worked really well we haven't let that fan run more than 8 hours so don't let it run more than 8 hours all the information is in the description click the link and you can find out way more on their Amazon page um but yeah I am really happy with this unit for sure you can definitely fit a big vehicle in a jeep a truck something lifted just as long as it's not too lifted would be be able to fit in there and you'd still be able to spray it um and it's been staying up pretty pretty nice I haven't had any issues with it collapsing or anything like that it's been staked down definitely strong material for [Applause] [Music] sure all right got the fog lights and everything back in and this thing looks really good we just being straight out of the spray can with no clear it is definitely glossy now the headlights definitely need Wet sanded and 2K cleared to really polish those things up I don't like the buffing method it just has to be redone so often I like to 2K clear them but I went ahead and was getting the paint booth tore down and my dog Daisy just went and had to jump on on all the air pockets to help us so don't worry she didn't poke a hole in it or anything but she did a really good job at trying to get the air out and we were able to get it back inside the bag it wasn't too difficult to do and the aird draft device did do really well at extracting the fumes with the Vivo uh explosion proof fan so definitely happy with how it all turned out and moving to the front yard you can see we got a big inflatable Christmas tree they sent with the paint booth and they wanted us to Showcase it here so that's exactly what we're doing
