Why though? Not like anyone seems to be using that space at night. I didn’t feel very justicey on this one, more like “Why not just have it be no parking during business hours?”

QUESTION:
I’m a rare guy because I’ve always lived in NYC and have had a car of my own for 29 years. I’ve never been towed. I’ve have a few manual transmission vehicles & a few automatic transmission vehicles. Either way, when I park my car it’s in gear. This locks up the wheels so it doesn’t roll. Those tow trucks moved a few cars by dragging them around rolling on the front & back tires. Doesn’t that fuck up the car somehow? Parking brakes, etc.? How are they dragging the cars around without damaging the shit out of everything?
What I don't get is all the standing around for. Look up the address of the tow company or phone the number on the tow away sign, call a cab, get your car. What else were they doing, calling their mom?

I could see them dressing one car and the wheel was locked up. How do they account for the vehicle having the parking brake in our being in gear?
That two-piece grab at 2:44 of the Civic was a beautiful bit of vehicular ballet.
