[Music] hello hello i'm so glad to be doing devotions with you guys today and i just want to give people a chance to join we're going to be going over uh breaks or prophecies prayers and decorations you don't need the book to follow along but if you have the book it can help and i want to talk to you guys and just kind of read a section about why we do declarations why we do prophecy why we do prayer in this form and then we're going to go over the first chapter so we're going to be going over the next couple weeks a couple different subjects like family breakthrough and family breakthrough and finances breakthrough in health because i know that when we're doing devotional time sometimes we just need that help we need somebody to you know join their faith to ours and say let's go for it so i hope you guys will enjoy this and we're gonna have a great time i hope this if you're watching this later and not live it's okay i'm just gonna greet some people live for just a minute so you can because i left my door open so he's coming in and out um sorry it's a little darker our lights are in the new studio the new setup that we have our little podcast suite that we set up and um and but minneapolis we're praying dearly for minneapolis right now i know it's just crazy what's going on there and i know that god wants to break through and i think of the word i have when i was in minneapolis that god's going to put minneapolis on the map for how to do i integrated relationships well and that was about 10 months before the first outbreak of just riots and everything else so i doing this because when we were traveling full-time and i was going you know 50 trips a year 37 of our own i didn't get to see you from all over the world i'd see just a group of people who were right decoration and prophecies in prayer throughout human history we have seen power prayer the impact of prophetic and symbolism of declarations having a huge impact to shape societies set culture provide heritage and bring vision for the future i wrote this book so you would have a very specific tool to help you to use words to define your own history and future with god i love the power of prayer prophecy and declaration these have been weapons in my own life to create the context of faith and intimacy i'm now living in and these three verbal tools as some of them i see these verbal tours are some of the most important definers of our relationship vision and calling prayer helps us to commune with god's nature and heart we get to converse with god with god's listening ears prophecies are god's will accompanied by his love declared over us they give us an opportunity to align our faith in connection to what we believe about ourselves to help our humanity catch up to his spirit prophecies create sight for the gap between what is not yet happening and what god desires to do in our lives and they help us to engage in a process of relationship with god through faith to close the gap prophecies change our opportunities ignite our potential and cause us to have a chance to live beyond the fruit we can attain by our own efforts here's the declaration part decorations are when we speak out loud on purpose for a purpose these are our statements of faith aligning us to god's will and directives for our lives and the world around us life is in the power of the tongue death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who let love it will eat its fruit proverbs 18 21 as christians and emotionally intelligent humans we see that the tongue is our most powerful tool or weapon it has the power to release life wherever we go people who understand this will speak intentionally and will eat the abundant fruit of their past words and declarations have produced we will speak to others into ourselves because we realize silence is indifference and passivity is a thief declarations help us to be intentional and therefore aware of god when he moves because we're declaring and looking for fulfillment of very specific statements so that's kind of why we're doing this so prophecies prison declarations i want to move forward into breakthrough i'm going to talk about just breakthrough for a second just because it's one of god's defining natures it's actually he's it's a title for god twice in the bible and what's exciting is that i'm doing a series on tv and that we just produced and it's coming out uh in may on monday nights i think in middle may or into may on monday nights called discovering god and it's all about his different names and one of the names we go over is breakthrough which is really amazing we have the power of someone's story how they met god this way and then i'm teaching through it and i do an interview with that person at the end so you guys can stay tuned for the show so where does the theme of breakthrough come from and i want you to take this into your spirit okay this is the truth in the bible that's going to help you relate to god where breakthrough is not just a power buzzword in charismatic circles or pentecostal circles or it's not just a word if you're not familiar with it it's not just a word in society for scientific achievements or a word you know for somebody getting a breakthrough role in acting it's also one of the natures of the ways that god identifies himself so that we can understand we're going to go through life and we're going to need breakthrough moments that we can't get to the other end by ourselves and therefore we can apply our faith and say god father i need you to come through as this part of your nature and that's really important to us so the theme of breakthrough appears everywhere in our world and science when someone admits i just said this and when someone invents a breakthrough technology in the military when there's a movement forward or advance the enemy line and entertainment when a project does something that's never been done before or someone has a breakout role and society when there's a sudden shift forward i love how we see breakthrough appear in the bible because it is one of the definers of god it shows his name character and desire to break us out of oppression or bring us into breakthrough into his promises so it's either to break out of something and think of things you need to break out of right now or it's to break us into something think of things you're breaking into that you need god's breaker power his nature breakthrough to help you to get into what you're called to either one is an important way that we can rely on god in some modern christian circles this has become another inspirational buzz word and it is at times but when the bible uses the term of outbreaks the words are never hypothetical or just inspirational they are absolute about the nature of god now here's where these are used my favorite place that appears is when david names a place with a name he identifies as god it's one of the biggest slabs in the face to his rivals the philistines because david hijacks their own god's name and puts our god above him in second samuel 5 20 we read so david went to bowel pereziem and defeated the philistines there the lord did it david exclaimed he burst through my enemies like a raging flood so he named the place belle perezine which means the lord who breaks her burst through david is proclaiming this by using the example of how waters during floods break through or burst out making new streams so think of god's breakthrough power in your life whether it's you need healing or finances or whether you need to go into your promised land it's like he water can get through anything and that's who god is the waters can't be confined when water breaks out of its banks awesome visible powers displayed as the water pushes past everything in its way david describes the power of god in a similar way because when god is upon a situation his breakthrough there's nothing that can stop it before this breakthrough happened for david in israel the scene in the scriptures called valley of refugeum means the house of the giants but here is what is awesome after the breakthrough it's called bell parachute meaning possessor of breaches or lord of the breakthrough one of the most awesome parts of this theme of david naming it this was that he used the name baal a god of the philistines to define it he did this as a reminder that at this place the enemy thought he was the strongest so david called a bell person declaring that god broke through the stronghold of the enemy he names his god above all the little giants of baal this still happens for us today god breaks through in an awesome way that belittles our enemies and causes the oppression that looks that is against us to look small in comparison to his strength some of you need that right now you need the oppression you're feeling it looks small in comparison to the god of breakthrough and i pray that for you right now spiritual breakthrough isn't always just about breaking off something it's also about advancing in unprecedented ways both of these have always been themes in the bible and history we tell the stories about how god broke through and transformed the world shifted countries and engaged cultures through believers like you and me who dared to believe with radical faith true and lasting breakthrough starts in your identity in your heart the very core of who you are and what you believe that's why it's one of the names of god it's an identifier of who he is this is who god is you have to know god is the one who wants your breakthrough from hardship or breaks into promise more than you do it is part of his revealed biblical role as a father to you to bring breakthrough for you and the more you get to know him the more you expect that the process of building relationship with him brings about great breakthroughs in your families opportunities and goals but it comes from the core process of building connection with him so i'm going to read the rest of this particular part next week when we join us so join me again for next week but we're going to do a biblical uh prophecy right now over breakthrough and this first one is over relationships so this week we're going to do relationships next week we're gonna do finances and then we'll keep going i think we have three weeks of this and so i want to look at a prophecy over your relationships and i want you to listen to this i hope you're at a place to where you can just allow this to absorb into because this is a prophecy god gave me for all of us and yes it could be generic but it could be generic specific where you can apply it and sometimes we need to hear this language because it helps to rewire our expectation so that's why i spoke it like a prophecy from god because that's how i received it so this is god speaking part of my a part of experiencing my breakthrough for you is allowing me to make your family friends and community one of your primary promised land experiences i have made you for relationships and i will surround you with them i am creating your inner and outer circle with you and for you as the expression of my heart to reveal the deepest part of my love to you and through you to them you are a powerful developer of family friends and community through me i have created within you everything you need to express my love to your spouse your children your parents your siblings your friends your community i have given you the ability to produce healthy and powerful relationships ask for my love and i will give you the emotional intelligence to express it in epic ways through your relationships i'm going to bring about the most connectedness you could ever feel i'm going to bring the right attachment to you in each of your relationships and it will sustain you through the hard times but it will also be one of the greatest celebratory devices you could possibly experience i'm going to bring an incubator of purpose for your closest relationships you will not feel alone or isolated now some of you are feeling some of that or you're feeling some of the hardship so receive this as a prophecy this is what god wants you to be this is your bar now for who god wants you to be in relationship my desire for you is to have relationships that will bring out my colors and my image from your life i'm also going to use your social circle to bring you courage to take giant leaps of faith i have given you the ability to have breakthrough in your relationship situations through my will and desire for you in situations that will normally break down families and relationships when you are wounded or hurt by something you're in your relationship circle that they do or say lean into me and i will bring my breakthrough into your very being i will cause the wounds to build a deeper connection with me into them even when things get damaged or feel unre unreconcilable i will restore your heart i will restore your relationship to them even if it looks broken i will give you forgiveness and reconnect you you are not alone your relationships are some of the greatest treasures i will use to develop my mature nature in you and you can trust my nature i sent my son jesus so he can reconcile you to my original plan connection to me and connection to other people your relationships are a powerful tool that can be the greatest display of what eternal life looks like because of your love for one another your love for others will help people want to know me to know my son people will know this is what they were made for as well people will see your marriage your father your mother and your extended family your close friendships and watch you work through the same struggles but with the help of my spirit who will lead you into deeper love instead of drifting apart people will see you love even when someone needs correction you will not punish but will bring about conviction and discipline that will cause them to trust you and bond you even more your family will display my intention of love to your community it is meant to be a picture of my breakthrough to the world people will be filled with so much hope through watching you love well relationally i will cause you to be such a family person your family is meant to be everlasting the way you are building with them now will have a reflection in eternity love well love like me and i will pour my ever refilling love back into you so that's a prophecy to you love well love like me and i will pour my ever refilling love back into you and i pray that over you right now now there's a prayer here too we're going to skip the prayer because we only have a minute left but we're going to do the declaration together so i want you to just in your spirit because i'm not going to do word for word and let you repeat me but you can get this in the book and you declare it over your family or your relationship circle and i'm just going to say this and just in your heart say i agree the points especially that you need the most agreement and i'm just going to make this declaration i declare that the god of breakthroughs making me a powerful builder of family relationships and community i'm empowered to create an amazing family through marriage childbirth and adoption through creating epic friendships and to being a leader to my extended family and a real member who blesses my community i believe everyone in my family and friendship network will have an opportunity to know and fully love god because of our connection i declare that my whole household will be saved walking in their full connection with god in complete destiny my family household relationships will be blessed we will be blessed in our extended families careers spiritual gifts talents and opportunities and everything we do and everywhere we go the god of breakthrough will help us succeed he surrounds us with favor like a shield and no weapon formed against us can prosper what the lord has blessed no one can curse the god of breakthroughs bringing my family into their promised land both individually and corporately he will author and finish his will for us in our lifetimes and nothing will be cut short god will break through any places we get stuck in relationally or financially in our health or in other areas that will bring about pain destruction and brokenness god will cut off any plans of the enemy to steal from us kill from us or destroy our connections he will bring us into the life he planned for us a life that is abundant through our lord and savior jesus christ so i just pray over you right now god is we're getting to know you maybe for the first time this nature or maybe we know you already and we just need more of you here i pray whether we need breakthrough from something or we need your breaker power to get into something we want to know you this way we don't want to just have the power to overcome we want to know you in the power we want to know you in the experience so god build our connection with you i pray even as we're watching from all over the world right now and lord even people are going to be watching later who aren't live just bless our process of knowing you in this way bless our prayers our prophecies and our declarations and or align our spirit and our faith with you even where there's place inside of us maybe when i was reading this maybe you were going ah that's not for me or ah that doesn't work for me or i've tried that before i pray that god will give you the endurance to do it again until it works i know for me my prayer life like when i used to i had a hard time when i was especially teenager and young at all where i couldn't read the bible and have an effect here it was like just so frustrating unless i was going to teach or something and i just had to keep pressing in them one day just from being faithful it just turned it just all of a sudden it became a great source of life and great it's kind of like people who learn how to run and they talk about that runners you know euphoria that you get which i don't think i've ever had but um if you keep running you keep running your press past that point off so there's a euphoria there's an orphan's release bible prayer life declaration even receiving like this it happens and you just keep pressing in and all of a sudden you get overtaken with that feeling of like ah this isn't working out it's just going to be one-sided and all of a sudden you have that connected relationship with god if you already have that i pray for more i pray for multiplication especially when it comes to the the name of god that we're discovering together even more today so thank you guys so much for joining i'm so glad we uh joined together and i'm so i pray that uh there would be more of a prophetic encounter for you in the midst of knowing god this way like he wants to he wants to experience you and he wants you to experience him which is really a profound thought so i want you guys to to know it's true it's biblical it's one of the ways he reveals himself is through prophecy and revelation and these gifts that he's given us and we all have access to him paul wouldn't have said in first corinthians 14 go after love like your life depends on an eagerly desired prophecy and all the spiritual gifts if they weren't available to all of us so i want to encourage you to pursue god in all of his gifts because he's going to help you to even connect to him even more sure to put in the comments what you need breakthrough for and we're going to be praying together especially when it comes to relationships or family situations and i even thought of a couple of relationships that are not as strange but just because of covet have been distanced and how is just applying those prayers to some of those relationships so that we can reengage and get even more
