I want to [Music] can people I wanna spare [Music] lord [Music] [Applause] [Music] hila hard fan [Music] wanna spend [Music] and they were people [Music] hello I'm Shelley Quinn I'm JD Quayle we're so good that you are joining us today we have a very inspiring personal testimony that we're going to hear but we want to take this opportunity to give you heartfelt thanks for your prayers and your love and your financial support of 3abn the mending broken people Network and this testimony that we're going to hear today is astounding the our special guest is a survivor of the Rwanda genocide and as we had just a few minutes to speak with him before we came on the air I realized that his story is really about prayer about bold prayer challenging God in prayer and it's an amazing story that will give you faith and encouragement to increase your prayer life and to know that God is always there as he was talking the verse that came to my mind was Isaiah 65 24 and I love this promise God says it shall come to pass that before they call I will answer and while they are still speaking I will hear and this gentleman is a pastor he's a PhD but he was preaching from the grave in Rwanda and let me introduce our special guest and let's see if I can say this dr. Fadi tiss in dumb you Mugabi did I do that right correct oh praise the Lord you have to be very smart language it's defendants actually it means our ship the Lord praise God I worship the Lord yeah last name that's a beautiful last name I will worship the Lord we're going to come back for your personal testimony in just a second but I know that currently you are a professor of religion at Weimar Institute right one year and you've been you're here now in the United States with your wife and your three sons but the beginning of his journey here the beginning before he would became educated as a pastor was quite rocky and this is something we want to encourage you to stay tuned but before we go there we have a beautiful piano solo and honey who is our pianist Kendall Bacchus and he's going to be playing give thanks [Music] you [Music] you [Music] it certainly is easy to think give thanks it was this beautiful soothing thank you man we do give things with a grateful heart if you're joining us just a moment late our special guest today is dr. food Edith and um mu you got it okay so good you trying I will praise the Lord ma'am and what we want to do is you brought some pictures with us or with you that we'd like to show right at the beginning of the program because it is it was so amazing for me to see how beautiful Rwanda is and to think of the atrocities the evil the hatred the pride that rose up in this nation so here you have and we can see where it is in India right in the heart of Africa actually and that is the map of Rhonda it's a very small country but it is a beautiful country as people can see probably in the next future I was born and grew up in that area there is a beautiful lake it's called Lake kevo it's one of the most beautiful lakes in the world and the next picture shows probably more mountains and unfortunately even though I was born there and my parents were there that is not a place I go today as somebody who goes home because my entire family died was killed in those mountains and when you say the entire family you're talking about your parents your siblings all except one right when sister survived but all of your nieces and nephews nephews they were like 34 of them actually were killed within but they are not the only ones because more than a million people were killed within only three months in three months now you have a picture of some hills here that we wanted to look at because you said this is where yeah that's Ronda is called the country of a Thousand Hills and so everywhere you go up mountains and hills but my story takes place in such Hills actually not so tall just and I was you know I spent like more than 30 days running up and down and until I reached a point where I had to dig a grave and I had my grave they were forcing you yeah okay so let's let's kind of rewind for just a second and put this into perspective for our audience this was a an in fighting a civil war between the Tutsis and the Hutus which are two different tribes kind of tell us well even let's go back before that did you grow up in a Christian home yeah I was born and grew up in a Christian home in an Adventist family and my especially my sister actually one of my sister's was such a wonderful Adventist and it's not just enough to be born in an Adventist family but she taught me about God and the Bible and she actually gave me a book you know she was giving gifts to people and surprising them and then I was waiting for my Emma my gift and then she came up with a book a Bible and she gave me a Bible and that wasn't a new Bible actually I wasn't very excited about it as a young boy but she gave me her old Bible which was highlighted underlined and that was going to work out miracles in my life and maybe if anyone is listening to us and watching us today I just want actually that's what I'm talking about I'm talking about the power of the word of God how it helps you to go through terrible crises and and and helps you to remain faithful unto God and and then to see God Pastor at what point did you actually give your heart to the Lord how old were you oh I was like maybe eight years old really yeah I was I grew up in a rural area you saw the mountains and we had cows animals and I was keeping the animals of the family and now interestingly when you are keeping animals you have time right yes and so when they are feeding I was reading my Bible right and I was focusing on the highlighted verses in these verses we are going to you know just prove to me that there is a God in heaven and he is the God who never changes so you had this love for the Lord you become an elder at the local seventh-day Adventist Church but now introduced how did this civil war this genocide happen where the Hutus were massacring the Tutsis what's the difference between those two tribes thank you so much it's actually not so easy to describe the difference between Tutsis and Hutus because in some cases there are no differences when there is hatred you will always see differences but Tutsis and Hutus they share the same language they have the same culture they intermarried they were basically the same but then there was a time for political reasons politicians tried to highlight the differences they said to tease foreigners they came from other countries and they invaded the country and they became the leaders and and so they mobilize Hutus to kill twosies so this is kind of a class war isn't it because the Tutsis were a little more of the I don't want to say aristocracy but they were a little of more a richer group perhaps yes basically but not all Tutsis were rich but of course the king came from the tribe of Tutsis and when the European missionaries came to Ronda they found now usually when you are wealthy when you have drink milk well you tend to be tall right and so because they were animal keeping and cattles so they were taller and and missionaries and the colonial power didn't see the similarities they say no these are different they don't look alike and and they distributed ID cards they said you are a Tutsi you get an ID card that shows who you are and you are a Hutu you get an ID card and in some instances actually there could be some Hutus way given to these ID cards and the way to tease who probably were given other ID cards but those ID cards were going to be terrible - indeed identification of people who are supposed to be killed so this is kind of a man-made separation if you will because they share the culture they often look alike into married and now so in your church then were there both Tutsis and Hutus very well we there was no difference we're just friends with neighbors we socially integrated until those politicians tried to highlight the differences and inciting one group to kill the other telling them the desire enemies you kill him okay so in 1994 what was over a million people were slaughtered more than a million people actually because even today you know those are people who have identified but there are families which way totally the whole family was killed and no one to report no one to tell the story and so only the families the people who we're identify actually like a million two hundred thousand but even today there are still discovering Han I mean hundreds oh I mean tens of thousands in in increase in holes in some way thrown into big rivers and taken away and so and no trace and no one will report and say my family was killed or my children and you know it's it's such a terrible thing that happened in that country so foodie just tell us where you were when this began and just share your story thank you so much well as I said I was in actually in a place where I was born I happened to be in Kigali when the genocide started Kigali is the capital city of Ronda and I was the church elder in one of the biggest churches in Rwanda in Kigali which is called romera SDA church and as Nelda enjoyed the fellowship of church members and God prepared me somehow with the Bible I had read I actually you know somehow grew up that way and I started helping people I was you know helping young people teaching and ii was 1994 there was a serious you know upheaval politicians were saying you kill Tutsis and people were scared everywhere and we had just to pray spend the whole day fasting and praying and I was an elder I was invited by young people I remember Tuesday actually spend the whole day praying with a group of young people scared and we all committed ourselves into her God's hands and said even if we die let's glorify God and let's put our lives as you were your ID card what you were a touched I had an ID card and on Wednesday I did the same there was a group of business people who had gathered and they invited me to encourage them and to pray and we fasted the whole day without actually knowing that that very evening something terrible's going to the then president of the country who was who too was killed and when he died we don't I personally don't know what happened some say is the Hutus who killed him so that because he was trying to share power with the tooties some will say no the Tutsi army the people were coming from outside who killed him and that is not my business but the reality is he was he was killed and the Hutus as a result they decided to kill all Tutsis they said we will kill Tutsis and have because we don't want them to leave now that evening actually what happened after my prayer I went back home I was scared we decided to pray my friends and I were staying in a small house how three boys we we had how we're actually free in the house helper and so we prayed the whole night and we tried to prove to people that were also sympathizing and but that was not going to work and you were 24 years old yes I was 24 years old and we prayed and prayed and prayed and now one the how it happened one Sabbath now it was Wednesday now Saturday I was supposed to go to church and I used to teach the doctrine all the doctrines of the seventh-day Adventist Church every Sabbath morning as it happens in Africa this time it was not going to be possible so I said I think I've got to invite neighbors so that I can encourage them and pray for them now what I did I sent my house helper to invite people and they came and I started teaching now I when you said they came were they both truth sees and both into seasoned intruders okay and when they came even the young people were staying with me one of them two of them were Hutus and one was a Tutsi and so I was reading I remember I decided to read the book the great controversy the chapter entitled the time of trouble and I was trying to tell them look even in such times of trouble God still cares for his people just like Ellen GOI tells us and right as I was trying to explain and read and commanding eyes my house had a window now the the door had actually a glass and so I could see through the glass and I saw a group of killers armed with their machetes and knives and swords and guns and and they forced us to open the door and immediately they came in and they said all your IDs up now everybody was supposed to show the ID if you are to T they will kill you if you are Hutu then you are safe and so everybody who was Hutu and of course there were some Tutsis who had hidden their IDs others had told them and they tried to lie but I had told God I was not going to lie I was remember I had read my Bible and I said no Revelation chapter 22 it talks about those who will survive right the last tribulation are those who have not lied who have said no lie The Book of Psalms 15 it talks about the same thing so I said there's no I'm not going to lie I showed my ID and when they saw the ID the chief militia the killer he said get ready to kill and everybody came and surrounded me with their knives and now I took my Bible lifted it up and pointed it to the kill I said in that ID it is written to thee but in my heart I'm a citizen of heaven and he was disturbed he took the Bible he threw it down he trampled on it and I felt bad because as a young person I thought God was going to protect my life he was going to fight for me and hear his own Bible is being trampled on I said no God are you doing something about the situation and now interestingly God had done something already he doesn't fight the way we want him to fight he's always in control even when you think you are so strong he's trampling the Bible he has his knife on me but he cannot kill me he's just looking at me and everybody has come and their knives are up there and I kept praying say Lord Lord are you doing nothing about this situation and I'm right just sitting and no one dares to stab me they kept shouting and then he said all of the sudden after a few minutes he said where is your room take us to your bedroom and they took me to the bedroom obviously they wanted to loot take what belong to me and I was praying inside the room now actually I know I don't have enough time maybe somebody may be interested in the whole story he can read there's a book that is coming out with Pacific praise preaching from the grave but I want to assure everyone that God is amazing sometimes we had the mind power of prayer but we've got to trust in him and and there is a God who answers prayer and so even in the room I kept praying and they took everything I had he brought me back now these are guys who have killed the people they have slaughtered the honey they have been moving around they are full of blood they I am just the next to be killed and they kept they brought me out and I was just right there and then he kept shouting their knives are branded and then he says no we're not going to kill you we will call the policeman to come and kill you as if I was stronger than them and they said give us your keys and they locked us inside they left then of course in a few minutes time they sent they gave the keys to somebody and it came in the opened and I thought when they send the keys back I thought I'm safe and I was trying to go out to see if there was another way out and then I saw the chief killer coming back now I was going to jump the fence you see this things surrounding my house the compound but there was no way I tried to jump just to find out that the house had been surrounded by the Caymans and so they asked see you lie down we want to kill you we're gonna cut and I lied down waiting for the chief killer to come and when he came he took his sword and he lured it on my throat he said I'm gonna cut your throat and right as the blade attached to my throat I lifted up the Bible again and I pointed I said don't kill don't shed in his innocent blood the man was troubled he couldn't he see are you bragging of praying I said no but he kept shouting and everybody's just looking at me they don't they have come back to tell me but no one kills me again and then he finally after few minutes shouting and blowing at me say why and he said why are you running you go back to your house I said I will not run again I went to my house interestingly the guy was after what he was coming back to my house I had locked myself inside and he was coming back and back and back and saying Miroku Enoch Miroku he means the Holy One he thought I was a special person said the Holy One the Holy One are you inside I said yes keep praying and I kept praying this is what shaped killers a chief killer have you moved by to kill others you say Miroku are you inside I said years see keep praying I kept praying and which means God had done something to him but that was just the beginning because actually the really story starts right there it was going to be terrible but God is so great and God was going to show me that he's a God who answers prayers because in a short while one of my friends my church members as I said I was a church elder he came to me and he said why don't we run let's try to go to another province and I told him I said his name was Vincent I said visit how can I go I have this tooth i D and he said why do you have it why don't you tear it and throw it away I said I'm not going to tear it because if I do I will be tempted to lie and I don't want to lie and he said I said my life is in there in God's hands if he wants to protect my life he will certainly do that and he says if you have that faith let's go keep your ID and let's go and so I we prayed and then we had to move now recent was somehow smart he desired he realized that I was probably stupid and so he got my ID when we reached the highway and we saw so many killings so many dead people and he came back he was scared he say where's your ID got it and he put my ID just back to back to his ID and so when we reached the first roadblock where people being slaughtered he they asked him his ID shot and then he continued and when I arrived they said where's your ID and you know I said that man has it and they said he came back to show and he should the same ID the one he had showed before his ID and they said move forward but that was actually going to be just for a while he had tried to protect my life but God was going to show me that even when they see the ID I can still protect your life anyway one of us was a Tutsi and he was held there to be killed and so decent was a Hutu he was such a kind person he said I'm not going to leave him you guys you go now I was going to go without visit but with Jesus and so I decided because I was not going to keep standing there out of fear that they were going to identify me come back to me and kill me and continuing was another issue but I decided to pray and moved forward now ahead of me there were roadblocks so I designed the prayer I said I say the prayer every time I came across the roadblock in the name of Jesus close their eyes and God closed their eye a man so the first roadblock I said in the name of Jesus close his eyes and the guys were just busy checking IDs with and killing and I moved forward and then I came across another guy say in the name of Jesus close his eyes and I moved forward three times closed their eyes but the fourth time it looks like Jesus God said no until when are you gonna say this prayer I've got to prove to you that even when their eyes are not closed I can still protect your life so I say the name of Jesus when this boy asks for ID I say the name of Jesus close his eyes and his eyes were not closed he read he said are you to T now instead of killing me he was astonished this are you to t he was amazed that I could still have my ID and so I said yes she said disappear from here now he became kind and I know we don't have time I probably have to rush into this story but it was a miracle because in fact he didn't allow me to continue he called me back he gave me he said I'm gonna look for her give you a ride and there are people who are passing by and they have cars and they are going to drive you to where you're going and I didn't want to come back because that's the place where killers they are killing people and he said you wait there and guess what there was a truck full of militiamen killers and so this is the truck where he wants me to get a ride and say you get it right oh my goodness and I had to go into that truck full of militiamen who a full of blood had killed so many moving from house to house did they know you were too obviously since they thought I was ok but no one checked my ID but anyway I God made it possible for me to cross a number of roadblocks but I reached the point when I reached around about which was one of the most terrible places and for the sake of time I can probably share with you that story and another one maybe just that round about decent had caught us up with us with the other friend then three managed to save him and when he came we didn't know whether to move forward or to go back and it was a terrible situation and we decided to pray and move forward and I was going to be saying the same prayer but that was not going to work so when we reach the roadblock the roundabout in Kigali center I say the prayer said Lord closed the eyes in Jesus name and gives what the eyes could not be closed the very first militiamen God not only God did not close their eyes but also he did not they didn't even become kind to me because the person who got my idea shouted he said we found it to say we found it to see and everybody came running to me they said they were waiting to kill me and they said you see that Tutsi over there that was the Tutsi freshly killed you go and lie beside him and we are coming to kill you and so I went and I stood beside the dead person and I took time to pray now somehow I was forgotten for a few minutes and because they were busy killing others in stopping and checking IDs and I prayed and prayed I said Lord show me that you are the god I've talked about I've taught young people I've told adults of radio word I used till the same or you have changed show me you are a God who doesn't change and guess what somehow all of the sudden one of the killers realized I was still there and then he turned and they say hey we haven't killed that boy yet and any came run he said let me go and finish him and he running to me and as soon as I saw him coming I closed my eyes and said Lord in Jesus name stop him immediately as soon as seed as I see that prayer I open my eyes just to see the guy taking the opposite direction in him I continued praying somehow I was forgotten again a second time I say the same pray say Lord he said you know what we haven't killed that boy yet he's still there I said in the name of Jesus he stopped him as I saw him coming wrong and immediately he was taking the opposite direction three times Wow now the first time was different I just I've got to redeem time but the fourth time the guy came and as he came to kill me I was praying I stopped him in Jesus name and as I kept praying now I opened my eyes the last time I opened my eyes the guys will the guy was right in front of me but instead of stabbing me just as they were doing for everyone else he was just looking into my face and then as I looked into his eyes he said by the way what kind of person are you hmm I don't know what he had seen in me but maybe he solved a different face but God had just walked out a miracle and I said I'm a man of God I don't know how that answer came to me because in such a moment you moment you don't even reason right I said yeah you had not been educated as a pastor and got your PhD no I was just no you were just okay just yeah then I said I'm a man of God and then he said are you a man of God but whatever answer I gave him he probably heard something different are you a man of God I said yes but they were killing even man of God I mean every even pastors were being killed the priest and and you know every people with Bibles and all of them were being killed and then he said let me go and negotiate your ID so that you can go anyway let me just anyway this story I want to hear how you ended up in a great story entry yeah well finally I was saved by miracle from that very place to the point that militiamen wanted acid' what happened they didn't understand and then my friend had disappeared my friends had interfered so I went down the road and I found them there and they knew I was dead no one could dare come back to see what was happening because you are attracting the attention of the killers you are sympathizing with the Tutsis they can kill you so when they saw me it was like what are you still alive if I said yes and I was holding my ID and this and saw me again with my ID see you still have that idea why don't you tear it I said visit if I'm alive it is not because I tore my ID it is because God protected my hand so I don't have to lie God willing I will be alive and if he wants me to die I will die faithfully and so he says if you have that faith let's go and we prayed again and we moved on now it was a terrible journey because so many people are being killed right there so many I've got two it's interesting I can't just maybe I should go to anyway that stories when I reach the point there was a roadblock people were being killed there was a guy half naked he was like you know with a hammer part of the hammer was Snax sharp and the road had been blocked and they were stopping everyone directing the to the killer sitting and and I saw so many dead people around him and the prisoners had been released to Lourdes the tracks and so when I saw that now one of the militiamen grabbed him by the color of the color of the shirt and he led me towards the tequila and I was like three four meters away and there were three people around three people before me and when I saw him full without mercy I said a prayer I said Lord in the name of Jesus if that man gets angry get angry on my behalf this time I changed the prayer in guess what right after that prayer I felt another hand pulling me back and now there is a hand pulling me towards the killer and there's another hand back and then I turned and the guy said where are you going I said I'm going to show the ID to that killer and he said don't go now the one to the front said no let him go and show the ID no was meanwhile others are passing by and they are being killed and now there is a discussion between these two boys one thing you go the other one say you go back the other ones you go and finally the one behind sits no there is a car behind here which is going to give him a ride to another province let him go back and he will still come back this way anyway finally he convinced the killer that I was supposed to go back and maybe I should just yeah what I want to do because the story you're touching the tip of the iceberg here it is such a fascinating story but your new book that is being released in the summer of 2019 preaching from the grave this is available Pacific press is publishing this and this book it will be available in the ABC within a few weeks let's say August of 2019 and eventually I'm sure it will be available on Amazon as well but tell us where this title comes from because you were forced to dig your own grave were you not correct correct well I finally managed to cross the city and went to one rural area now one of my friends was living not far his home was not as very far from Kigali so he took me to his home village but unfortunately we didn't know killings were going to start soon there as well and when killings started so I try to hide and the father of my friend tried to hide me everywhere he could he did his best and finally he got tired he said son I could hide you I could dig a hole and hide you in there but killers they are digging people out I could put you into the ceiling but if I put you there the militia and they would just find you and so he said son there is no way out and he designed the way by the way he said well son I think the best ways for you to go to a public area where so many truths has had gone and you will be killed by gun they will shoot at you because he was careless a note these villages that we cut you with machetes and I don't want you to suffer that way you go that was the best way for him he said you better go where - since I the way I look at you anyway to make the long story short I had to go but finally I didn't go there is a whole series of miracles again right there and then I came back again and the old man saw me back and he said son are you bad they were troubled because coming back was like I'm causing trouble to them because militiaman if they saw me going to their home then they would have sense that they are friends the two Tutsis they are trying to hide them and they were going to kill them as well so he very late in the night he designed he said I know one bush I can take you to and probably you can be saved your God can protect your life and he took me to that bush unfortunately that was the only bush that me shakila's knew and so he took me to a bush where actually militiamen were checking every hour and but he prayed for me and we prayed and I was in a bush now the morning came and around 11 a.m. I had the friend there was a little boy a boy with me and in that bush where I was praying I said Lord put your angels around this bush now it was that 11 a.m. when I heard dogs barking they were hunting dogs trained dogs and the dog found me when I was hiding and I saw the dog and I tried to scare the dog so that it ran away but I didn't he was backing seriously backing and in militiaman came following that all they say yes we found one you come out of the bush and I had to go out of the bush and because no time anyway they took me they said no you look strong we have been so tired we're not going to keep killing people half and then dig their grave we are going to let you dig your grave and then we kill you later so they give me who and I started digging now I had a Bible I think I shared with you how my sister had given me by it wasn't necessarily the right Bible but from that time on I had always underlined highlighted in my Bible right and so when my Bibles highlighted and I now one of the killers as they discovered me he actually got my Bible so they were sitting around the hole as at the grave as I was digging but I started praying I said lord I preached about daniel in the lion's den I preached about Shadrach how you took them out of fire did I lie to people if I told them the truth then show me that you are a God who never changes and I said are you still the same God show me that you are a God you have not changed but I was praying and I was digging and the grave was about to finish and I see at the time I stopped I say Lord what are you doing about this and I started giving suggestions to God and I told God I said Lord maybe you can give me wings and I will fly and it would just not find me and I waited for wings they were knowings so I kept praying said Lord I was there said Lord what are you doing about the grave is ending and they are going to kill me you bring about fire I remember the story of Elijah and I said maybe God can bring about find all of us are gonna be scattered and run and there was no fire now one thing I didn't remember is that actually there are not two stories in the Bible the fire right it's only one of Elijah and so God doesn't have to repeat the same thing for for someone right the Red Sea didn't happen twice and in God he never runs out of solutions and so as I was digging I then I said you bring Thunder and and all of us are gonna be scattered but God had actually designed the way out here man and so because one of the killers holding my Bible now he's reading it opens the Bible and he reads the highlighted first let me say he pauses he say hey wait a minute right in the gravy see why are these colors in this book and I said these are my favorite verses and then he says oh these are your verses you mean you've read this he said yes and he keeps opening and he reads every colorful verse and the reads and somehow the Holy Spirit is working and you know and as he reads his touched and then he finally says hey you mean you have read all this I said yes and finally at last he says I beg your pardon before you die can you give me this book mm-hmm and I said go ahead and get it because I reasoned that there was no way I was going to claim it back anyway if I happen to fly or so there was no say you go ahead and get it but other killers said no he cannot get it that is not his book he doesn't even belong to himself and he said if you need it you pay us money he said don't worry no matter how much money you want I will get this book so he was with me now the story's wrong because I know we don't have time but let me tell you something happened that changed everything finally God brought about another one of the killers came by and say hey listen why are we bearing these people into our field this is our property and we don't know him why are we burying him in there and then everybody was looking at him and they said no they there was another person who had been killed and they were saying they we buried three of us into the same grave and so he said let's use this grave to bury that person we killed before and these boys they would go and dig another grave in near the highway now my grave was taken yeah but that was God's answer man he brings about his solution in a way that you and I can never think of a man and so just imagine and right the grave is finished by the way the guy offered to help us the guy who had my wife we said please allow me to help them he didn't 1 to suffer he was right now with me right before he jumped in the grave and he started digging and then I said no please I said Lord what are you doing this man is so strong he's finishing the grave and they would kill me you did nothing but God had done something already and so finally when the grave finished somebody came just ironically he said why don't we pray for the people we are killing Wow Oh obviously I sense that these are Roman Catholics and because they anyway maybe some other participants as well they pray for the dead and yeah so I said oh maybe they don't know the biblical truth Ecclesiastes says no dead know nothing right they have no hatred and Nola and I said and then one of them said no Mary Mother of Jesus receive him Mary Mother of and everyone was saying the same story and my heart changed I said Lord I felt very bad I said Lord I've got to defend yon he ain't about to tell these people who you are and I said don't allow me to fly and I've told them who you are because they are insulting me they don't they are killing people and they are praying for them and right after I buried the person we went to the highway there was a very beautiful place so we've got we had to where I was supposed to dig another grave and I approached the man who had my Bible said can you give me that book so that I can share I can say something before I dig another grave because that was a beautiful place I so people could see it and listen and not interestingly didn't allow that I mean he allowed he said yes go ahead he was with me go ahead and say something but it was another militia right close to him and he said no he's he will say nothing to us we are going to kill him he's our enemy and guess what the other guy said no he can say something now the other one say no nothing we don't want to listen he has nothing - now everybody who listened to the shop argument lined up one on the side of those who wanted me to say something and all the others on the side of those who didn't want me to say a thing and interestingly now there were so many they were like 40 of them and so finally they were about to fight all of them are armed and one of them stood up and said wait a minute why are you gonna kill each other because of this stranger we don't know him why are you fighting over a stranger let me suggest something those of you who want to listen you sit down and listen and those of you who don't want to listen you sit down and shut your ears and then let him speak and then we'll kill him now it was like a fear right suggestion everybody sat down but no one actually closed the ears oh my goodness everybody was sitting down and I took my Bible and I read Peter chapter 2 from verse 9 which actually talks about you are holy people as people belonging to God we are I was saying no I started thinking God thinking them for what they did and I assured them I told him no I'm not begging for you to let me go because I know even if you kill me I know there is a day I'm going to rise I was telling them but you are killing people you better let them pray for themselves before you kill them and I told them there are people whom you are killing they are not to tease or Hutus in the way you think of them they are the children of God as the verse says and you are just doing the work of the devil don't you think you are actually doing the work of God he just got converted non conversion as such but God worked out a miracle as soon as I finish the show they say let him go we cannot kill such a person let him go and and it is you know your story God work miracle after miracle and you'll want to get the book it's called preaching from
