Brilliant series, if anyone checking the comments first hasn't watched it turn off this video now and watch it.
"The truth doesn't care about our needs or wants, it doesn't care about our governments, our ideologies, our religions. It will lie in wait for all time and this at last is the gift of Chernobyl. Where I once would fear the cost of truth, now I only ask: what is the cost of lies?"
lol, I love the "Must have been 2 faulty dosimeters then!" So inept these people were...
Watching this video didnβt make me feel great. Not terrible, but not great either.
This guy really hates clipboards
I loved this series....but I thought this character (Paul Ritter) was waaaaaay over the top.
Felt a bit too much like the director screaming at us "Look! This is the bad guy....look how bad he is!".
Having said that....I know nothing at all about the real person. Maybe he was this way?
I think the scariest thing about this scene is how there is a manager or two like that In every company. Only cares about himself and has no empathy for the the emotional well being of others. I kind of donβt blame people for being like that because In life they are constantly rewarded for that type of behavior. And the worst part is that everyone else who dosnt work under him thinks heβs the most charming/caring person because who knows how to fake it really well. The hardest thing I have learned in life is that there is a lot mort shitty people in this world then good.
Sadly, the US government has been playing the same ghame with COVID-19.
The USA confused Chernobyl as a tutorial on how to handle COVID.
