welcome back to another videos on this video here we got some brand new tires or not brand new but we got some new some used tires for the tacoma so if you guys don't know this tacoma here we're doing a cheap bill guys we're not gonna be dumping a lot of money we're mostly gonna put the money in maintenance tires and lockers this is an off-road fun rig i was able to pick up these tires for 150. two of them are the same and then two of them are well one pair is same one pair is different so the one that's on wheels right now is the discover discover these are all mud tires stt 33 12.5 by 15s won't be using these wheels came with it these are the one that have the most shred so i'm gonna put these in the back of the uh for the rear of the tacoma and then these are some pro comp pro comp mud terrain not sure what brand there are same size though and then these don't have as much tread but it's uh it's good decent doable and these we're gonna be putting in the front tire oh snap i just noticed this look at that there's a freaking nail yikes hopefully we can plug that up man i got my plug kit hopefully we can plug that up no big deal i didn't see that and then um so these are 33 2.5 and then when i bought the truck the truck came with these wheels in the back of it these are some 15x7 basic steels really nice i thought these were eight inch wide at first and then i saw that it says right here 15 by seven so this is nice because with the 12.5 if you put the 12.5 on a seven inch wide um it won't be as wide so this shouldn't rub so much but when you put 12.5 tires on 8 inch or 9 inch or 10 inch wide the tire is like super wide and i don't like that style it's just too much of a stance so i like to i like going with the skinny tires the skinny setup i like doing a seven inch wide or eight inch wide i don't like to go any wider than that for off-road rails um this one here is slightly bent or damaged but i think it's doable but this one here is nice and this one here is nice so these two we're gonna use these for the nicer one in the back and i think this one over here is nice as well it doesn't have any damage or anything like that i think i only saw one that had a little bit damage which was this guy right here so it looks like these are some damage from tire iron nothing crazy but yeah we're gonna go ahead and uh install these tires and then slap them on the tacoma and we'll see how much rubbing there is and then we'll start bringing out the grinder and the big hammer and start pounding stuff we're gonna try to do this with no lift guys so i'm right here at samba my buddy samba going to be here in a bit and we're going to swap these tires i just went through the inside of the tire here and it didn't went through so this nail here didn't go through let's go ahead and remove it and see how oh just a baby nail about maybe a half inch so yep no puncher just a little small [Laughter] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] nail [Music] so [Music] so [Music] my [Music] [Music] first time changing my tires with the helpful rodolfo say hi duffel what's up uh rodolfo just taught me how to change these tire putting the tires on is very easy and then sometimes if the tires are all taking it off it's really hard but 33s 12.5 mud tires on toyota rims and rodolfo you want to talk about your project here what do you got going on this one here yeah what is this this is a mazda b 2000 1985 1985 long bed yep that's long bed version so what's in here it's a 305 a5 is it chevy small block chevy 305 with camshaft intake aftermarket holley performance and 91 millimeters t45 the turbo right service yeah nice ignition how long did you uh how long you've been working on this project was it fully yeah this car was sitting for a year so and i had trouble with the original engine with preparation and stuff like that and then i decided to go for five speed manual yeah yeah small block chevy nice well we'll give you guys an update once this uh this car is probably finished it's gonna be a while right check that out new paint you're gonna put a new paint job on it too right yep nicely this means something they go turbo chevy 350. yeah so the decedental turbo when i had to order the heads and because the original heads didn't mount uh with the engine the engine mount kit for this car if you guys want to know uh ask on the uh uh ask on the questions below uh if you know the new ones if you guys want more like details about the project how we did on the chassis for the engines trusses etc so and uh i can't do it more but i had to basically had to order new headers and then i decided to go turbo that that position right there so nice yeah show the headers right here nice day three with blue devil and we're also changing new tires we got the 33s it's early morning so this is just regular condensation i can smell it it's just regular uh moisture not coolant so i'm gonna change three tire the only problem that i have is that one of the boat is stripped right here so this lug nut you can't really take it off because that stud you guys see the stud the stud is off the hub so i'm gonna try to see if i can get it back up and then uh strip this one and we're just gonna run fight lug we'll see what happens a good time to go ahead and check the bearings the wheel bearings make sure there's no play on the front end lots of brake pads and uh shocks looks good struts looks good cv boots looks good not ripped and looks like the seal the seal for the power steering rack looked like it stopped leaking so i think that uh that blue devil power steering stop is working which is really good this is the front sway bar we're gonna go ahead and remove this too afterwards and i'll show you guys how to do that in a bit i might go ahead and remove it right now right here because i have access to these bolts so let me go ahead and do that i was able to get that one stud out got the stud off got the drum cover open and man it's super clean inside i was really impressed brake pads are really good the drum pads so this thing here is really easy to replace i can just slide this over here so what i'm going to do is i'm going to go to my parts store and buy a new one and you can see right there this one is strip somehow the lug nut doesn't want to go in anymore so i'm just gonna go buy a new one these things are pretty cheap two three bucks a piece here's the new stud for the 96 tacoma these are pretty standard for all toyotas but here's the part number from autozone right here the size for the boat is an m12 by 1.50 so i went and bought one they're like two three bucks and then i also went and bought the nuts we buy the nuts because in order to install this you have to have the axle out and then pound it in or what you can do is you can put it in and then you'll use the nut to drive it out and you can't use your lug nuts because your lug nuts are limited so you have to get at least the nuts really easy you're able to slide the bolt right down here and then slide it in and you can see it's kind of nice and snug now just like that so you want it nice and snug and then from here on you'll go ahead and use your bolts and you're just going to go ahead and tight tighten this up you want to go ahead and tighten it up until this stud is fully seated into the back of your axle hub right here and you guys got to watch it right there i'm gonna spray some brake clean right real quick while i'm at it and then we'll put the drum hub the drum cover back on i did take out the sway bar so this is the sway bar if you guys don't know about the sway bar i highly recommend you guys do research don't take it off if you're not comfortable do your own research and then you can decide if you want to take it off for me personally i've been running all my trucks ifs with no sway bar even on my green pick up here i've been running it that's one of the first thing i take off when i buy this truck is the front sway bar but if you don't off if you don't off-road or anything like that keep it on it's good for daily and it improves your safety into the vehicle but if you guys all throw and stuff like that you guys all know that the sway bar off is really easy you have 12 millimeter bolts two toe and then just these bolts right here i did went ahead and spray pb blaster overnight so you want to do that first because these guys are always kind of crusty so spray some pb blaster and you can get these guys remove the fender wheels the plastic crap we're gonna pound some of these in it was rubbing over here at full lock and then this piece right here we're gonna cut off this is just a bracket cut it right here and then the bumper i might shave like maybe three inch just for the heck of it right there but for the fender itself we don't need to cut the fender right now so i'm gonna leave the fender the way it is but we do have to pound down here at the pinch wheels maybe cut some ground grab some stuff down there not bad at all guys first drive with the tacoma on 33 12.5 they're mud tires so they're not the smoothest which is what i expected front tires are around 25 psi so i got to go fill them up and get them back to psi i'm gonna head over to change the uh fill up the air pressure real quick no tire pressure and then i'm gonna head on to the locksmith make some spare keys go get the registrations and then i'll give you guys a full review here it is everyone the truck you guys been all waiting for tacoma lx34 we just got done putting 33 12.5 15s i just got rid of the topper sold the topper man it looks so much better without the topper i love toppers but for off-roading and stuff like that i don't want a topper check it out man take a look take a look it's beautiful i got this 33 spear i've been having this for almost like since beginning of this year so this 33 sphere will stay in the back of this truck forever and then no crate for the miscellaneous stuff i might get a toolbox i might do a toolbox setup because it's an off-road rig it'd be nice to have a toolbox to carry all my off-road stuff or maybe i'll just throw in the back of the truck we'll see the back of the cab this is it right here man you guys can see right now the engine is on the engine's running it's a super quiet muffler uh stock muffler which is what i like too nice and quiet no need for noise no smoke right now guys no smoke i just went ahead and got new plates and also new registration registration cost about 170 but i went to a place that does it um faster so there was a 190 so they have a little feed so it's well it's worth it if you don't wait at the dmv damn check it out i'm so excited man i'm just happy that i found this truck it's like things just falls into place man like i found this beautiful truck i got some great tires i found some great deals on the tires yesterday and man i'm just very blessed man also today is also my one year anniversary it's been one year since i had my rollover so one year from last year on this day i flipped my forerunner you guys all know the story about that you guys can go watch it but yeah it's been one year just so blessed to be alive and be here with you guys today so i also want to just mention that out real quick dude this tacoma looks so pretty this is my first time owning a tacoma and for me i love tacomas but i only like the first gins or i only like this generation and i like the generation from 99 through 2002 the new ones are also nice but for off-roading purpose i want something old-school where you can just beat the heck out of it so let's talk about the 33 so 33 they sit on the rear fine no rubbing but i haven't tested out a full flex i think at full flex we might rub a bit so once we go do some off-roading and i find out that it's rubbing i'll go ahead and cut it if it's needed i might cut like an inch or an inch and a half off but for now i'm not going to do anything yet and then for the front um the front it wasn't rubbing up here but it was rubbing down here at full turn and it was rubbing on the plastic fender wheel thingy so i took out i ripped that off and then i bent some of this stuff right here so right now it's right now driving and doing u-turns it won't rub but newly when you're off-roading at full flex full lock it might rub so for now daily purpose it's not rubbing and i'll start pounding some stuff grinding some stuff later down the road once i find out how much rubbing it's going to do but for now it looks really good i also went ahead and just cut the bumper the bumper needs to extend right here so i cut that off because i already messed up and down here i'm just going to leave the way it is right there and that's pretty much it so for all you folks that's always asking dust 33 fit yes it does but again you guys got to keep in mind that the rails that i have on here are 15 by seven so if it was a 15 by 8 or 15 by 10 your tires will be much wider and it'll rub even more so that's the reason why i like the seven inch wide wheels and this is the main reason why i like the seven inch on 12.5 and same thing for the back or on this side i cut a little bit of it i'm gonna go ahead and cut this piece right here too but for now it's not rubbing at all and um yeah it looks great you can see that right now the truck looks a bit unlevel the back is way the back is probably like an inch or a half inch higher so we'll see what happens i don't want to buy any lift kit right now i might crank the torsion bar oh is there torsion bar on these trucks i don't think there's torsion bars but anyways that's pretty much it man 3 4 is running great running great no smoke nothing like that and i'm not going to do anything else i went i went ahead and put a full tank of gas so right now it's full tank and i'll let you guys know what the what kind of miles per gallon i'm getting on this setup with 33s but man we're at 224 miles right here amazing i love it well that's gonna be it for this video i hope you guys enjoy man i hope you guys enjoy if you guys got questions anything like that let me know in the comment section make sure to follow the instagram nutty new underscore 4x4 to stay up to date and also one last thing the power steering fluid leak it stop it's not leaking power steering fluid anymore so that's really good but that's it guys i'll catch you guys next time catch you guys on the next video you guys have a great summer we'll be doing some off-road soon guys stay tuned peace out [Music] so you
