hey guys it's flip this product is called quick creek concrete crack seal and today i'm going to do a quick update video to show you how this looks three years after using it to fill in some cracks in concrete so three years ago i made a video on how to apply this product and then a year after that i did a full extensive review and showed you how it looked it's now been three years and people still ask me how does it look now so i figured i'd make a quick video and show you and i'm gonna go over something i probably would have done differently so let's get right to it here you go it's been three years since filling in these cracks on this broken slab i'm not gonna do a whole lot of talking on this video i already did an extensive review of this after one year which i'll put a link to in the corner right now this is gonna be more just to show you how it looks after three years so as you can see here i didn't do any extra preparation before this video uh there's weeds growing up through the filler the concrete definitely needs pressure washed all i did is move the garbage cans out of the way and i did blow off some of the leaves but that's it and i do pressure wash this concrete that's something that people commented a lot about in the last video is that you need to pressure washer concrete i pressure wash this about once a year it's just the north side of my house so it gets zero sunlight i do clean it about once a year i'll even put a video in the corner of the screen right now of me pressure washing this and here's a shot a couple of those joints i filled in another thing that people commented a lot about on the one year review is that this slab is beyond repair and you should just tear it up and re-pour the slab in most cases i would agree with that statement this is definitely a busted up slab but in this situation i just didn't really care this is how this area normally looks it just has my garbage can sitting on it it's not really visible from the street and nobody's really back here but me or my family not this were my patio or somewhere more visible i would say yes definitely just tear this up and re-pour the slab but in this case i was just trying to slow down how much water seeped down through these cracks and caused even more movement now here's something i would do differently at the one year review i showed you how this sealant was cracking so i went back over and added a second layer in some spots like right here the problem with that is i didn't have enough depth to fill that whole width of the crack again over that first application a year before so really i had the choice of leaving the cracks in the ceiling or running this extra bead across the top and to be honest with you in some places like this i think it looks even worse you can see the extra bead along the top here really distinctly and i don't like how it looks so if i could go back one thing i might do differently is just to fill these cracks about halfway or maybe three-fourths of the way and then wait a year and let the movement take place and let it crack as it wants and then a year later i would come back and fill it up the rest of the way to where you get it level with the concrete and fill in those cracks now that's not how the directions say to do it but i think that's how i would do it so one more time here's a sped up shot of me applying the product three years ago here's what it looked like after drying for a couple days and here's what it looks like three years later so that's it so people have been asking so i wanted to give you a quick update of how it looked now let me know in the comments below what you think of the product in the video if you liked the video or found it useful please hit the like button and subscribe to my channel thanks for watching [Music] you
