all right what's up everybody i'm going to give you a rundown of all the modifications i did here and kind of give you an idea of how i did it and my reasoning behind how i did it all right so first we're going to start off with the light system all right so all the wires for the lights are run completely internally all right and i did cut into the hole into the hole to run them internally i got an access point here i had an access point underneath the seat and then i had another access point right behind the seat back in that second the back depression there all right and you don't technically have to do it that way i just did that because i knew that i could do the welding um but i it did make it a lot easier another way that you could do it these here so that rod these rod holders they pop out and the rod holders in the back here pop out you can take them out and fish your wiring through but like i said i knew i was gonna i knew i knew how to do the welding and plus i just wanted to do the welding so that's why i did what i did there you don't have to do it that way but it did make it a lot easier for me anyway all right so that's how i did the lights and everything is ran all the wiring from the front for all the lights all the wiring from the from the back to the front all runs into here and my switch panel controls everything my number one switch controls my running lights and my number two switch controls my deck lights okay and i like this switch panel i got off amazon i can't think of the brand but it has inside here it has the fuses already built into them so you can just pop these switches out and throw the fuse in you'll be good to go if you blow a fuse all right so that was the lights all right so now we're going to go to the steering system so i got the wilderness systems steering pedal system all right it worked worked out really well the holes didn't exactly line up so i had to move it a little bit to get it to work but it still works good if you watch i like it it works for me so yeah uh the motor i have there on the back is a min code a 70 pound thrust just trolling motor which i obviously still gotta do the wiring and stuff for that the head i'm actually gonna mount over on this side um but that's you know that's like a ten minute project so i'm not going to really worry about that too much right now so the helix 7 fish finder now these this is the white the wiring one of the wiring systems i did not go internally with because i wanted to be able to take it off and put it on something else if i wanted to okay but everything runs to this battery all right so one one battery powers everything except for the motor and the power pole all right those two things are going to be on separate batteries and the rest of the system but for the most part everything is on this one battery um now i have tested it i've let this thing sit with all the lights on fishfinder on usb ports charging the cameras and it lasted for a good 15 hours all right so if you're out on the water longer than 15 hours you know god bless you because you're gonna be one tired you're gonna be one tired mofo all right so we got the light system explained we got the uh steering system explained all right so back here where i mounted the power pole all right now instead of book going out and buying you know 120 dollar mounting mounting plate i just made one of my own um i pretty much ordered plastic sheets and welded them together right there as you can see and it cost me about 20 bucks about 30 bucks whatever but still it's better than spending 120 dollars when i can make it myself and that's just my kind of way of life you know if i can do something on my own i do it all right um so anyway it worked out it worked out really great and if you've noticed here anytime i drill a hole into this kayak i put i put epoxy down before i drilled the hole so what that does when you drill into it the threads are going to catch into that epoxy and it's going to epoxy the hole as you drill so this thing is 100 water tight because of me doing that all right so and i did the same thing here with the motor mount i cut off see this is where it would bend down and it has these things that you spin to clamp it on i cut those off and the main bolt here goes down through where you put your rudder system and then i just use some self tap self taping that self tapping screws in there to give it some more stability and then i also you know epoxy everything the whole way around all right so that thing is 100 solid is not going anywhere and it could take some damage if it needed to all right same thing with this now this side i used the bolts that came along with the power pole in the front i used the self tapping and with the epoxy all right so that's that part of it all right and then over here we got the transducer mount that is the scotty transducer mount i really like that and also got my little sidearm protection now and that's pretty much it guys i mean it was a simple kind of process you know it did take me some time because you know i had to work and whatnot so i worked on it when i had the spare time to do it and but yeah we are ready to go um seminole cannot come fast enough all right guys so if you have any questions on how i did things you know feel free to ask me i'm sure there's a lot here that i did that i didn't cover so i'm just trying to make this video quick to get it out for you guys um but like i said if you have any questions on how i did things or any um you know any tips for me you know going forward with how to do things you know i'm open to that stuff because i was this was all learning experience for me um but yeah if you like what you see give me a like and subscribe on my channel please and i will see you guys on the water down in georgia on lake seminole peace out guys love you tight lines
