3 Of The Best NEW Sonic Fan Games [SAGE 2022]

so sage 2022 is here and if you don't know what that is it is where all the fans of sonic get together to make fan games mods rom hacks all of that good stuff and after watching the trailer i gotta say there are a couple slappers and a couple that were yeah but we're gonna let them slide so i thought i'd do a three random sonic fan games typed it not so much random but so much as the three that i thought were the best looking yes sir this is the first one this one's called sonic colors d master that remastered not remake no no d bastard they say okay this is a lower version of what's originally there so yeah would you like to attend all passages sit back and relax and rick interstellar space elevator whisks you away bro eggman i nailed that roll you gotta hire me whoa this thing has some crazy acceleration we got actual is that the sonic battle like sprite you call this fast okay this definitely is the sonic battle sprite whatever his latest plot is i've tried to stop it right absolutely couldn't have said it better myself all right let's go do it oh okay tropical azor act after seeing this i was very much interested because i am in love with the rush boost and funny enough this is also looking oh oh the sprite [Music] oh okay hold up this looking kind of clean okay the smart work is there this is all some advanced stuff ah the wall jump responsive since when oh we can jump from real to rail yes sir oh tutorial over it basically taught me how to play the game but i already know how to play rush style which i love the most out of almost any sonic game it's a combination of both platforming and boost style like it's just perfect i can live with that yeah to be right i can deal with that like come on oh we have a hub world oh what's here my equipped oh we got stuff boost jump skills unleashed boost cost three red rings infinite boost oh we have so much stuff here how was that act one it was just a training stage bro let me get to act two let me see it whoa what's going on looks like those egg ponds are chasing that actually i'm not sure what that is frighten alien noises okay it's my boy jackie chill out there little guy we're not gonna hurt you oh we gotta check out boy jacker for a spin we gotta take her to tropicals or act two baby like i gotta honestly ask y'all do y'all honestly think sonic colors for the ds is the third like sonic rush game because technically it is a 2d sonic game with the boost gameplay just like in a rush games and it also came on the ds so i'm like you count that like i think i can count that like even though it doesn't really feel like it but it does play like it like a lot oh oh oh no oh to the right all right let's keep going oh my oh this is kind of cool i hope there are more stages oh the homing attack is responsive like yeah most people really did forget that solid colors also came out on the ds so much of a fan that i'm actually one of the people that actually played it and i gotta say it was kind of cool you actually get to see shadow in there and all the other characters like cream like they added characters that weren't in like the base game well i say base game the main game from the wii honestly thinking that when sonic caller's ultimate was coming out even though it disappointed a lot of people it would have hit the same story as the ds version because the ds version is slightly different as you know i already said cream and shadow were in there oh we're definitely moving like on some sonic rush with a big ball following us oh the platforming is there at the end of the game you can see that they have mother wisp the whis the mother oh the mother of all the wisps and the story is a bit different even the opening where as you can see hover like flying off into the distance they replaced it with burst the burst whisk and at the end when you see the frenzy whisk they replace it with the void which i always thought it was like interesting how they changed it up a bit which showed me that they cared about each version not so much generation for 3ds though even though it was pretty much cool and different no cutscenes were different a b rank yeah exactly not too shabby i mean we're doing it out here uh that was awesome you guys should know how to keep things moving jubilant alien noises i wish i got understood what you were saying yeah that's what telescopes in damn yackery is pissed they actually put a lot of work in here actually having like full-on conversations i think it's high time we paid the jolly extra visit and remind him what a butt kick feels like i swear sonic sonic's always about that action ah okay time for act three did i get another red ring i really hope i can get the unleashed boost that way we can just defeat enemies and have to worry about yakker we actually get to buy stuff what is that frontiers boost oh i got to get me some red rings i got to see what this stuff is about what the hell oh we got starlight carnival wait i didn't beat all the stages yet what is this we have achievements okay i guess the game isn't finished yet because act three is like blurred out even though i did action one and two but we still got salt like carnival to do hold on though i did just get enough to get the front frontiers boost or unleash boost i mean this is newer so i guess what does frontier's boost look like let's see that yeah but let's go back to yeah we could definitely just come to start like carnival let's do it oh and tells us here too deep i didn't even start yet how does it give me a d right whoa this place is far out okay style boost style which is the same as like rush style but 3d not 2d i will say rush dodge just excellent to me coming through [Music] but it was interesting to see a couple changes to colors ultimate but i really was hoping that they would add the ds version because it had a different story like ultimate ultimate version i mean with everything in it but i mean that would involve actual work which you know sega doesn't really do but even though they added it in team sonic racing like we literally did see planet whis with the mother whis a lot of people were probably like uh who was that gigantic wisp lady okay i am very happy with this game i think i play every 2d version of every main line game please give me like an a or something 25 please give me an a ring please i did a lot i stay with b ranks i mean i can live with it but come on i didn't have it equipped soap shoes okay hold on let me grab that what does that look like oh there's actually it's at the bottom you're really is too deep i'm like i gotta get on this oh so normally when i play the game i am a bark man i love grapplers like dk and smash bros but because we're a filthy casual oh he has different colors so i'll hopefully they have the same thing to wear if you go back to oh this play is nice i didn't even look at it i'm like the sprite where it looks there and literally you have to literally set this up like it's like a movie if you've ever played that before okay triangle kick square punch i'm using the playstation 4 controller it is very much controller supported okay not go see me brother okay so let's see if there's actually the super sonic option where i gotta win every round without losing all the way to metal sonic like round two then like does it have hyper mode oh i do oh i definitely yakuza virtua fighter they can literally do another sonic the fighters game especially since fighting is on an all-time high of being like super like more popular now imagine a fully budgeted sonic there's a bigger stand for the games or the series as a whole other than me what do they mean modern sonic so there's going to be more characters the bubbler himself used a boost alongside quick reaction but brother get me in the game quick reaction that's me all day oh camelot castle misty lake deep wood titanic oh we got stages oh how many of you would actually be happy to see a hd rebate or hd port of this game okay unleashed where's the sword at this is definitely not sonic in the black knight world but where's his sword i need to see that because i've said this a million times all they really need to do is do just like with skyward swords and bring it over to the switch like literally literally the joycons can act just like the wii remote and nunchucks or they can also do like skyward sword and like remap it to like where it's actual buttons and control it controls oh this looks fantastic i am so flabbergasted at this but i am appalled his sword isn't in his hand hey marlena because i loved both games how they had like its own story and like style because they hit like the storybook style like an actual storybook style like it was like chapters out of a book for each of like the cutscenes are moving through here yeah it's a lot of automated looking sections but i don't mind it myself the party games everything was so clean controls are pretty responsive are we gonna get the sword hold on i'm falling asleep exactly this is too easy what is the dragon gonna come there's literally a dragon you have to fight during this part no no dragon yo i'm using keyboard and mouse this is not my type of way to play a game oh quick step okay e and q okay got you got you no dragon where's the dragon and i gotta say i probably love this story a bit more in secret rings but the game play a lot more in black knight did you see because i love the matchup between him and caliburn it was just so cool it was just so cool no where's the music this is not the results music it goes what is this uh we're gonna pretend that the music for the result screen was exactly the same as it is in the game bro i can't even imagine that hd remake of the game literally just be stuck on the wii and never seen again just like with sonic rush and rush adventure because i don't know how they would possibly port that over because you need both screens i wouldn't say really need but you have both strings to choose from because the gameplay switches between top and bottom so i would wisps oh we should go back oh there we go i was gonna say like where am i supposed game i made it somehow and then there's also if the game would sell it probably wouldn't sell but it was sell-off principle for me because i would buy a hundred copies if i would if i could that e-rank i really love how he pulled like the actual voice slicer on the game i mean i would have expected him to like i didn't expect some original voice where am i i was going to tackle tight for a especially secrets it's an acquired taste for the game that much i will be honest with you have to really get used to it funny enough amy was not even super for sonic in this game she was like oh the hedgehog yeah legendary yeah little wheel excalibur okay be on your way like she was not really feeling them well that's not the vibe she get i don't give to that bro this stage sucks i will be honest alright titanic playing last stage we gotta do it and it was so cool seeing like different versions of knuckles tails amy oh hello oh my graphics you gotta be kidding me why didn't the homie get a lock on that wide open shot looks kind of nasty whoa okay this stage is kind of crazy looking where am i going yo this game lagging like crazy it is really destroying my graphics card it is tearing up every process i play elden ring i and it has never done this like this game must be unoptimal sorry i can't gush over the game it needs a little bit of critique come on oh well what let's just boost probably shadow the second time you can fight knuckles knuckles blaze and shadow and i gotta say shadow was the most annoying one yeah he's literally grabbing onto air shadow was the most annoying one to date because you can fight them twice and their second you see them ogres their second versions were so annoying to fight like they were so strong but back in the day i used to beat them like when in a hitler's run i was literally so good at the game now i'm i'm kind of bad at it sonic's still reaching for the for god this stage is wild have we did we actually have to do this in the game it has been some minutes oh not the wish power laser okay it's x why are there wisps in black knight ain't no there were no whistles like that that these came in colors oh okay i like the camera angles they're really trying to replicate what it is in the actual game it is like what is with all these big what even are these but i gotta give it to seeker rings because it actually had party games that were mad fun hello was that supposed to come over here i guess so like the party games were very fun it really made me think mario party was trivial compared to it but not mario party's better it's not playing mario party it's it's pretty dope [Music] but it was nice to know that sonic actually had something akin to it besides like stomach like shuffle oh this right this red is kind of clean yeah you said all right how long is this stage how long is this stage it's been going on for some minutes i don't like it it's too automated this one specifically this angle is not in this angle this angle is wild can i light speed i don't care how much money i have to pay i would love to see a remake of black knight and cigarettes the gameplay they can change it up i would really love to see them change it up from motion controls to something else they can they can do that and i would love to see what they do okay bro give me did is it well i don't care this stage was weird it was a hit or miss and it it halfway missed and uh yeah that's gonna do it for the three random fan games funny enough all three of them were actual games just remade as a fan game [Music] the real battle begins
