[Music] hello everyone this is Grand Master Damian limos here for a chest of net welcome to my new video today we'll be talking about aggressive lines we can use as white and I think they are great opportunities and they are likely to work especially if we catch our opponent and prepared so the first line I would like to discuss is when we play for in black plays d5 apart from night of free which is the main move F for the King's gambit I really like the Kings gambit because usually we play with a huge lead in development we have to play with the King in the center sometimes but if your opponent doesn't know much he can lose in less than 20 moves or even less as practice has shown so F for usually black takes what I like to do against the Kings gambit is play something like d5 which is a counter gambit in the opening I don't like grabbing material as black and here after poem takes I like Bishop c4 this move is also possible we have a lot of ideas what I like about Bishop c4 is that Queen age 4 check is tempting he definitely wins something he achieves something when he plays Queen h4 but we just play King f1 and the thing is the queen is at risk here we'll speed our development up and maybe we can also recover the porn f4 so I think in practice this is much easier to play as white of course if you play as black with a computer's strength then black is probably better but it is a different story when your plane when we are talking about real practice so black in this game this is Murphy against Dudley it's a a classical game black plays and this aggressive move maxie free white keeps on developing this is the merit of the Kings gambit our development we don't care about material we have to exploit our development advantage and also our Center because we are likely to play before at some point there white place before another idea we can consider is night of free and when he moves the Queen we can try move like h4 as I said the purpose on this line is to open lines as soon as possible so white play d4 Knight to e7 and here white plays another gambit in this position of course night of free is playable but this move looks even better he has to take otherwise if he plays queen h6 we can take or we can play move like h4 suddenly our development is paying off and no matter what them black does he'll end up losing his pawns if this we have Bishop takes f4 white already has a winning advantage in this position that's crazy but I mean it's real and well if he takes here Bishop takes pawn our development it's just too much and he cannot castle so he's probably losing here too so when white plays this move he decides to take and now the amazing Kim here of course we cannot take the ship free pawn that we can play this move and we have the simple idea of opening the H file if this we win the Queen there are no squares and even if black had some squares for his queen I mean we still have a huge lead in development so after this Kim here he has to play Queen age six we take Queen there and Knight f3 suddenly White Castle by hand and black he's just been moving his Queen this cannot be recommended he played age six Queenie two simple moves by white now we can just finish our development off and then we think I mean I will move sorry II see this six and well instead of playing Bishop d2 as I said trying to play rook AE one maybe or maybe we should be three trying to tag the Queen here white played this Knight d5 I think this concept is great because we are creating an attack before he finds a good square for his King and also we do this before he finishes his development so 95 he has to take there's no other way of protecting c7 context and here black made that mistake according to the engines black has to play keen afraid which is weird-looking already because rookie one we have threats on e7 on e8 after this he probably has to play better BAP six came here it's not easy though because as white I can still continue firing with moves like Knight e5 remember that we don't really care about material when we play the King's gambit we play with compensation so instead of King f8 black play it King d8 and here white wins you can possibly do if you want you can try finding whites and best continuation rook e1 is the best I mean candidate move we see but after rook e1 he can still play something like better five six or even Bishop d7 and then he hides his King on c8 so here I'll just make a little pause of 5 seconds and then I'll continue talking this is just in case you want to pause the video of course okay so in this position the winning movie special takes pawn by doing this check well this has to be played now we take here we remove one of the defenders Luke h8 was mainly at covering this rank Bishop takes rook e1 now it is impossible for black to protect both checks he played Bishop d7 Queen d7 and Queen f8 and here black resigns so this example was a great one it shows and that potential of the King's gambit as I said before if your opponent doesn't know much he is more likely to make a mistake so that is one of the reasons why I love the King's gambit apart from Bishop c4 which is the move we just so we can also play Knight of free this move is played a lot black laughs and protecting his extra pawn but this also gives us some extra chances to fire on the Kings side with moves like h4 so Bishop c4 white plays black plays this move and here comes another gambit we are not forced to move our knight on f3 we can live the night there and play a move like this if black takes we just take back on f3 will eventually take the f4 pawn and he has serious issues on the F file not to mention all his pieces are still on the first rank so worse scenario we have a huge compensation for the piece there is a short game where black played Queen f6 white played d3 we are not trading Queens off yet because we are down a piece so black probably has a clear advantage even if he plays a move like f6 remember this when you are attacking you don't want to trade Queens off so Queen up 63 we are pretty close to taking on f4 Bishop h6 black he is more than happy if we trade everything off on f4 Knight c3 97 and in this position white decided to trade everything off but the reason is we have a huge attack anyway you won't see this often trade quints off and have an attack Black has an extra piece but his extra material is resting on the Queen side so it doesn't have any real value okay he castles here maybe Ruka fate is better or just and developing a piece with 96 he castles rook a f1 and he plays d5 this was probably a huge mistake maybe night vc6 was better but as you can see black is facing a huge pressure so mistakes are easy to make he played v5 Knight takes I mean Bishop takes Knight takes and now Knight takes this is much better I mean if white takes this way this is still okay because we have too many pawns now I bet we have a clear advantage white he wanted to have a knight on d5 which is quite aggressive and we have more possibilities he played 96 check kinder and we already see made in nuts so material is not relevant when it is not active as I said before these pieces are not helping at all black played h5 rook check King h6 happens to be the only move because this well we have eight three or even a move like Knight takes h5 is winning so he played teenage six rook h4 and now and no matter what blood does he's losing bishop here we should take and it's made in one so another great example of what could happen in a king's indian I mean King's gambit knocking sending attack of course that is aggressive as well we are not discussing that in this video so now let's move to a 45 apart from f4 we can play the natural night of free say black plays in 96 and here apart from baby 5 or before the Scotch and the Spanish I also like the Italian which it has become quite popular nowadays and against black 2 main moves Bishop c5 and Knight of 6 we have aggressive options so let's begin with Bishop c5 which is black first move in this position the most popular Bishop c5 here of course we can castle we can play v3 we can play C free standard moves but I like the Evans gambit I think this can be it's cool because it's it is the same concept as the King's gambit we speed our development up and no matter how he takes on before we have C 3 and d 4 quicker so he takes and he has he has to take because otherwise we play and B 5 and this pawn on e5 is at risk we also have they should be 2 in so he better takes the be for pawn so Bishop takes we play sea free and black here has a lot of options as you can see every single move is possible practice access Bishop a5 is black sand best response but we see moves like Bishop c5 being played from time to time here we play d4 pawn takes and instead of taking on before we just Castle we keep on sacrificing material but lot of pieces are out already we have moves like Bishop c5 or even Knight there we can take on before later we have a huge development lead so black is at risk in this game black played d 3 which is a good try because he's not grabbing material is trying to give it back and finish his development as soon as possible that is a good try however after D 3 we have a great continuation already this is what the white played in the game I prefer this move to be honnest we attack on f7 he has to defend 95 or 96 here we can just take my takes Bishop takes King takes Queen h5 check this is a well-known trick in the Evans gambit we also see it in the Italian in general so after Queen takes e5 we see an a complex position where we are likely to take the d3 pawn we have opposite color bishops and we know that when we attack it is better to have the opposite color bishops what I was trying to say is this opposite color better they are favoring the attacking side because black is clearly missing his dark squared bishop so in this line I think white has a slight advantage at least really crazy game I found white played the simple rookie one I think this was a bit slow but it worked in practice black played h6 trying to stop this move white played d5 stopping him from finishing his development with night of 697 as you can see nobody cares about d3 pawn white is just trying to complete his attack so 94 there should be six and in this position we can start thinking about sacrifices on age six maybe on f6 so white takes and a huge mistake by black knight c6 even if he placed something else he is at risk already because there's no easy way to block this diagonal we are likely to throw every single piece on the kingside so I mean this night she 6 mistake is understandable and after Knight f6 jack he's done after this we simply take and then we take on h6 and if he plays King h8 we have Bishop takes f7 in two moves we destroyed black's castle no matter what he plays here he's absolutely lost so he decided to take on f6 maybe this is a bit better we play Queen takes c6 and we are mating him we are also attacking the rook so he takes Queen takes okay now black can already resign here he played the next remove Queenie seven takes Knight takes Conn takes f6 and game is over let's see another Evans gambit game tonight at 396 Bishop Bishop sigh said we have a couple of these moves here the Evans gambit is not mandatory but I would give it a try Bishop takes c3 and let's take a look at Bishop a5 which is clearly the best move for black because we know white he's trying to play d4 and keep on sacrificing material in the center so it makes more sense to have the bishop on this diagonal white plays d4 anyway here black takes he has other options as well just keep in mind that grabbing material in the open isn't a good idea in most cases so white he doesn't care about d4 he doesn't care about c3 all we want is to speed our development development often made him so here in this position white I mean black played Knight of 6 this is a reasonable move if he keeps on taking pawns you can already face stuff like Queen d5 even Queen b3 we have a lot of batteries and as you already know we have to exploit his slack off and development we have all kind of possibilities even stuff like veggie 3 in case he plays moves like Queenie 7 so he plays at the wise move Knight of 6 e 5 and then d5 she cannot play anything else I mean if he moves on itv4 I would already consider moves like Bishop III and he's not able to castle the same goes after Knight g4 but this is even easier for us because now we take on d4 and then this night doesn't have squares so he plays d5 which is the usual reaction white took on d6 and black took on d6 as well this is a big mistake by black if [Music] if you have a lot of experience playing chess you understand that here you have to castle no matter what couple of moves ago white played before and after pawn takes huh he didn't care about taking on before well here black has to do the same he played d5 we take on these six just Castle make sure all your pieces are out and then you care about material plane move like Queen takes the six when your King is still on me eight is I mean cannot be recommended here white played with a three now he'll never castle again Queen up for William rookie one check also Queen b3 was crashing already those bishops are too strong so lucky one King d8 here white one in two moves believe it or not he played Knight takes d4 Knight takes Bishop e7 check King d7 only move and this move finishes him off there is no single move for black I mean he cannot move the Queen because of Queen takes d4 and if he plays Queen here we just play every now he's running out of moves and we'll simply take on before and make him next when I first saw this game it was impressed it is true that black can play the d5 pawn takes and he can castle here but in practice your opponent's especially at lower levels or club players maybe they don't realize these concepts and that is why these lines are so so good opportunities to catch them so let's see one more here Bishop c4 apart from Bishop c5 there's also Knight of 6 this is a well-known move as well and here we understand why so many players play Bishop c5 first the thing is against Knight of 6 apart from d3 white can play the a low attack with this move we attack on f7 Black has no other choice than playing d5 context and theory here says the best move is Knight a5 maybe b5 which is like a counter gambit is worth considering as well the thing is here black cannot take on d5 I mean he can but it is not recommended at all and this is what we are going to see now if he takes on d5 and this happens a lot at lower levels it is known theory but it keeps happening here Knight takes f7 it basically wins because King takes we play Queen a free check King 6 Knight c3 it's all about development this is this reminds me of the previous gambits we saw Knight c7 also try this move which is not likely to work because we can easily protect situ sometimes we can just sacrifice the seat upon we can play moves like queenie for trying to play a three and before his under huge pressure here so he defends d5 with night c7 and here instead of Kathleen which is just fine we're down a piece but our compensation is huge white plays d4 we try opening lines up before he manages to get his pieces out so black plays c6 well if he plays anything else we have moves like Queenie fourth check and then we take the knight on d5 even a move like Bishop a4 is winning let's take a look at this King which is completely unprotected we can choose queenside castle and his crushed okay so after d4 in this game I found black played c6 Bishop c5 each move we play we have a threat is facing a lot of pins h6 in this game white took we can also keep the pressure and play something like Betty Page for inviting him to weaken his position by playing this advance he's not achieving much but I also like the idea of removing his key defender so Bishop takes white castles and we are pretty close to opening the e-file rook f8 before I I feel like is lost here I mean the engines say black has some chances but that is in a computer's world in a real game it is impossible to defend when you have the key known e6 and every single piece on board is participating in the attack so black keeps on taking material playing rook takes F 2d takes e5 this even better than taken with the Queen because now will take on d5 sooner or later check King b1 rugby - this was the only way black could defend his knight on d5 but we played the simple h4 and he's forced to give up the D file control takes rook takes and here he loses a piece if he plays better before or better b3 we can simply take it so he plays Bishop takes after this 25 check Keaney 7 this is completely over just in case I would play something like a 3s white to make sure black doesn't have any mates on the first rank Queen d2 takes in their cruciate quite calculated till the end and after keen e7 Queen h7 is mate so another great game and I know maybe black didn't give it great fight but as I said stuff like this happens a lot you'll even see some good players falling in traps like this of course if you want to play this line just try and having some good idea of how to play against Knight a5 or even be 5 because stronger stronger players they are playing and those moves but I bet you face is Knight takes d5 as well and then with simple moves you'll probably get a winning position and regarding the other lines of course there is some risk but I think you have much more to win than to lose even if you're playing blitz games this is great because it is much easier to attack than to defend so that's it for this video I hope you enjoyed my advice I hope you could let us learn something from the examples I gave and will continue doing stuff like this working on aggressive gambit and I'll prepare more videos for you guys this was Damian demos for HS bye for now [Music] you [Music]
