3 Layer Flat Twist On Natural Hair

what's up guys and welcome back to my channel so this is freshly washed hair and the first product that i'm going to be using is the african praia olive oil anti-breakage i'm just going to put some in my hand and apply this all over my wet hair okay so now that i have this all applied to my hair i'm going to part my hair into three sections two sections in the front and then one section in the back i am not looking for my parts to be straight just yet um because i am going to be doing two layers of flat twists in the back of my hair so right now i just focus on the back so now i'm just going to split the back section into two sections and pin the top of the section away so i can go ahead and start parting um the back again i'm not looking for the parts to be straight i want them somewhat straight but not like perfect [Music] all right so i'm going to go ahead and talk about the products that i've started using so one of the products is the um i'm jackie leave in conditioner and when i tell you this product is the bomb diggity is the bomb digger you need to go purchase this at your local beauty supply store and then another product that i started to use was the blue magic which you just saw here um the coconut kind i think i like this better than the blue one and then another product that i'm using is the african pride um this right here the twisted mock smoothie oh my god these products have been making my hair feel so moisturized when i kid you not like you need to go get these products you need to go get them this is not a sponsor ad i am legit telling you what is working great for my hair right now these products legit make it so much easier for me to detangle my hair without a lot of breakage like usually when i was using the cantu coconut curling cream my hair was still a little dry once it's my hair completely dried but these products keep my hair well moisturized as long as i'm using water i'm telling you it does amazing work all right so now i just parted um just one little part down and i am going to detangle with a smaller comb and then i am just going to flat twist all the way down i plan on leaving this hairstyle up for one week and then after the week i plan on wearing it as a twist out mainly because next week it is supposed to be nice and sunny here i could do a wash and go but i know this weather sometimes it flips and flops so i'm just going to leave this up for one week like i said and then i am just going to wear a twist out the next week again i'm not looking for these parts to be straight i'm just looking for them to be somewhat neat although you're not going to be able to see the parts once my whole head is done i just think um it just looks better when you try to put some kind of effort into parting your hair here i am just detangling again and then i am just going to flat twist it all the way down to the end of my hair now i'm just detangling the ends um just so they won't be tangled when i'm twisting i'm just going to do one more twist in this row and then i'll come back and show you guys what the finished row looks like i'm just detangling and then once i detangle i am just going to go ahead and flat twist again all the way down to the end of my hair okay so this is what the first row of flat twists look like and now i am just going to go ahead and start on the second row so i've already started on the second row and here i am just parting apart um so i can start another flat twist again i am not looking for these to be straight because um you're really not going to see it once my whole hair my whole head is complete again i'm just detangling and then i am just going to do a flat twist again all the way down to the ends of my hair all right you guys so i am doing the last flat twist on the second row and this is what the second row and the first row looks like in the back and i think it is super cute all right so i'm going to go ahead and detangle the whole front section of my hair mainly because in my head i have a certain pattern that i want to do and i just want my whole head to be already detangled before i start um flat twisting my front hair um so this was probably the leave-in conditioner by jackie and then i'm gonna go ahead and put the um african pride twist and lock smoothie on my hair and again all these products will be in the description box now that i got everything detangled i am going to be parting at an angle for all my flat twists in the front um in the middle at the top i do know that i want like a zigzag part and i do know that i do not want any hair in my face for this hairstyle so i quickly detangled it and then i go ahead and put some blue magic and then i go ahead and do a flat twist and again i'm doing it just like i did for the back of my head i'm just going to twist it and then twist all the way down to the ends i'm going to go ahead and make my next part um at an angle and then i'm going to do the same thing as i did for all the previous twists i'm just going to detangle it apply some blue magic and go ahead and flat twist it light twisting is not that hard um it's probably easier than braiding to the scalp but i thought this would be super cute instead of me braiding because i normally just braid the front of my hair if i do any kind of um style like this but i thought twisting was just cuter and probably way quicker i'm pretty sure you guys got the whole idea now so i'm just going to do this last one on this side on camera and then i'm gonna go ahead and show you guys um what the other side looks like flat twist it and then i'll show you what i mean when i say i want like a um sort of a zigzag part in the front all right so now that i got both sides done i'm just going to show you like i'm going from one twist on the right side and then i'll do another twist on the left side so it can give me like that zigzag part that i was looking for i want i was gonna do these straight to the back at first and then i thought well this would just be cuter now you can see um the zigzag part starting to form from one side of my hair to the other side so just to when you're doing this just make sure you do one flat twist on the other side and then part on the next side and do another flat twist and you'll see that the zigzag part will start to form as you go further and further back towards your hair all right you guys so this is the last flat twist um at the top and i'm just going to go ahead and flat twist it this style probably took me about 45 minutes to do um if i got them bigger they probably would have took about 25 minutes or so but i am gonna just let my hair air dry and let it be for the next week or so and this is the final um look like i said i'm gonna leave this up for one week and then attempt to wear it as a [Music] twist out on the second week but i must say i am loving this hairstyle i'm so happy i did this hairstyle without it being in my face i do not plan on putting anything on my edges
