Chinese omelettes and fried bread sticks The foods are so good 👍 This hot soy milk warms up my body 💪🏻 Our first spot today is to go to this old street in Taipei It is called Dihua Street 迪化街 You can see many historical buildings here Also, there are many traditional style shops You can find many traditional foods and ingredients on this street So it is very popular for the Taiwanese to come here before Chinese New Year My travel buddies are buying preserved meat here Not only traditional shops, you can also find many cafes and trendy style shops here The lanterns are so cute 🥰 So many wooden made products in this shop 🪵 I like the corridor here ❤️ This shop is selling products with different kinds of prints Their products are so cute 💕 Seriously thinking if I should get something here 🤔 But, so many cute products confused me and end up getting nothing 😆 This store is selling spicy nuts 🥜 so special! If you like cute tableware,
you definitely need to check out this store 👍 You can find numerous cute items here ❤️ I want to bring all of them back home 🥰 However, I’m afraid to carry them along the way Because they are fragile and easily broken I end up getting a pair of chopsticks 😁 I’m now frequently using the chopsticks at home 🥢 It reminds me of this happy trip in Taipei 🇹🇼 The basket bags are so colourful and cute 🥰 This place is so interesting! Highly recommend you to spend half day here 👍 Dihua Street is particularly good for buying souvenirs 🛍️ It’s time to grab a coffee ☕️ This is a jazz themed cafe 🎷 They seems to have live music show at night 🎶 They use coffee filter papers for hand drip coffee menu ☕️ So creative! Many choices of drinks in this cafe We have pudding 🍮 It’s yummy 🤤 I have this lemon ice coffee 🍋 It’s my first time to try this coffee, it’s so good 👍 The vibe of this cafe and the coffee here are amazing! We’ve seen many dried fruits and veggies on this street I want to get a taste and see if it is good I bought orange 🍊 and pineapple 🍍 I think the orange is good but the pineapple is too sweet Today is Saturday, there is a weekend market I like the historical buildings in this area They are so beautiful This is a convenient store with Jimmy Liao 幾米 themed Jimmy Liao 幾米 is a famous Taiwanese writer and illustrator The dinks in Taiwanese convenient store are so attractive 🤤 This is one of the landmark buildings in Dihua Street The building is now preserved for cafes and lifestyle shops The alley nearby is cute It’s time for lunch! We see this place full of people, the food must be good 😆 We ordered braised pork rice, noddle, tofu and fish soup All so good! The package of tea leaves is so cute Out of curiosity, I bought one pack 😆 Here is a traditional market. Let’s go inside and take a look You can find fresh food and other daily necessities here We are now moving on to the next spot nearby There is also a weekend market here Dadaocheng is a popular location for catching sunset in Taipei But we won’t stay here for that long, maybe save it for the next time Apart from the weekend market, there are lots of food trucks It’s a good idea to grab drinks and snacks and walk around this area I think the vibe here will be good at night 🌙 Many people are riding bicycles here 🚲 So soothing to see this view 😌 We go back to hotel to take a short break Then we go to check out the area nearby We go to this shop to try its bubble tea 🧋 If you bring your own cup, you can save TWD$5 The milk tea is super good 😋
