what characteristics make for a great coordinator we've all seen coordinators that are really good at math they can do the same count crunch numbers coordinators it can schedule they just know when the trucks are supposed to come their schedules wrong point there's other coordinators that are really great backing in trucks they can pull the truck in they can slam him in and it just looks easy there's other coordinators are super charismatic they're funny they can walk up to anybody on location if it's the gate guard water transfer the company man the treater the drivers and instantly have a laughing and on their side these are all great characteristics to have but these are not the characteristics that build a great cordon three characteristics that we found consistently across the war with great coordinators consistency compassion and credibility so number one consistency you have to be consistent with everything you do in order to achieve a high level you have to be consistently good in order to become great you have to be consistent and prove to everyone around you and yourself inside your heart that you can be that good so the second characteristic is compassion already coordinators have compassion they care just as much about everyone around them as they do about themselves they're always focused on trying to make the task easier and set people up for success instead of failure when they work longer hours or they work harder it's not because they're looking for something in return it's because they genuinely want to set people up for success this is a key characteristic and being a great coordinator and ultimately a great leader the third characteristic and being a great coordinator is credibility you have to have credibility in order to become great and what credibility is its when who you are as a person what you feel in your heart what you believe aligns with everything you say and do on an off location these things combined together allows people to trust and believe in us because as a coordinator you have to make tough decisions and people need to believe in trust and understand that you are doing things in the best interest of them customer and the team so to recap three characteristics that we found in all great coordinators consistency compassion and credibility hey guys don't forget to click the link below and subscribe to our YouTube channel to catch the latest and greatest videos and remember keep an open mind pay attention everything and everyone around you and you will be great you
