hey what's up I got some more lore content for you guys if you've stumbled across lore and you want to give it a try then this video is for you hello my name is tempo I've hit Master tier every season since the beta even peing rank one multiple times on the North American Ladder and I will be your guide for what decks to invest in early so you can get a jump start in legends of Runa so before we get into it there's a few things I'd like to catch you up on so that we're all on the same page Riot has just implemented the second ever rotation of cards this basically means that some cards aren't playable in the standard format anymore this includes some cards from the tutorial structure decks this is pretty confusing for new players because we were not given new Decks that can be played in standard so I'm having to work around this and adjust the basic decks as best as I can for you guys after the tutorial once you start the PVP side of things you have an XP bar where you unlock the decks just by playing the game along with the PVP game modes I recommend playing the challenges in the play menu to get the base versions of the Decks that I'm covering in this video the next thing you want to do is go into the description of this video and copy the deck codes onto your clipboard if you're on PC open the lore client go to collection and then click on import deck once you have a code name it something and then click import so you can start working towards completing your decks as you get resources if you're on mobile click on the website link and find the copy deck code button open the lore app and it's the same process as you get wild cards and Shar cards you'll go to your deck of choice right click on the cards that have red numbers and use the resources accordingly quick tip make sure to use your wild cards first only use the green shards on Champions and sometimes epics never spend them on common or rare cards there's also this fancy buy all button but it calculates you spending IRL money and if you want to then hey more power to you the option is there until you can complete these decks I recommend playing the basic versions that you start off with you can play fangs and fury inste standard but blades and shrooms can only be played in The Eternal format or versus AI because they have band cards in them with that we can finally talk about the refined versions of these Decks that I recommend building towards and climbing with as you discover your favorite play style in lore it'll probably take a week of consistent play to finalize one of these decks you cannot craft them as is day one obviously since the game doesn't give you any additional cards to work with but I'm giving you a strong direction to work towards you'll want to pick up blades and Buccaneers if you like the play fast and aggressive bangs and fury is your deck of choice if you want to play big dragons and use protection spells to win combat over and over until you beat down your opponent and finally shrooms and Booms is a controlled play style that wants to use removal cards to slow down the game while setting up from mid to late game Combos and here's the first deck for you guys make sure to drop a sub if you're new and also a like for the algorithm because it helps other new players see this video with that we'll be starting off with the only deck you can play as is in standard but it's also the easiest to craft a a finalized version of since there are no epics and you only have to craft one additional champion card we have fangs and fury I cannot recommend this deck enough it's super easy to craft and will teach you the fundamentals of the game while also being simple to learn synergistic with itself and also a great transition to one of the best meta decks and hey it's dragons who doesn't love playing big dragons in card games the main theme of the deck is to set up early make sure you don't fall too far behind and then in the mid game set up like one or two dragons that you want to fully play around you then protect these dragons with buff spells that way they can win combat they don't get shot by removal and you can also use them as single combat Targets in order to whittle down the opponent's board allowing you to win combat over and over so going through each card specifically we have dragon Chow as a one Mana 03 when you play a dragon it strikes me and you draw one this is fantastic because this card is going to cycle itself while also giving a buff to your dragons the reason for this is because dragons have Fury as a keyword it says when I kill a unit grant me plus one plus one so if you play Dragon Chow on turn one and then eventually you play shobana shyvana will come down strike the dragon Chow kill it you'll draw one and also gain plus one plus one right isn't that like really cool super awesome Synergy love that Dragon Chow is back it was rotated for the longest time but it is now playable again so we are going to run it because it's a really good card that gets our stats going and also draws us more speaking of draw we have another really good card two Mana 2 three dragon Allegiance when I'm summoned draw a dragon if you behold a dragon behold just says you have a dragon in hand or already in play and then boom you get to draw another Dragon which is just super good it allows this deck to have so much consistency on top of a two Mana 23 body which is just solid our next two drop is Dragon guard Lieutenant two Mana 32 when I'm summoned if you behold so the same effect if you behold the dragon grant me Challenger allowing you to grab specific units on the enemy board this is really good against elusiv like Teemo or like another really strong early game Champion that just kind of wants to sit back and relax and get value well you can drag it into combat and kill it outright super super good card next we have triple form up which is a Deasia classic I recommend crafting this card immediately if you want to play any Deasia strategy because it is in every Deasia deck two minute burst speed give an ally plus two plus two this round really really solid for protecting your units against removal and also really good at protecting your units in combat allowing you to beat out the opponent's board next we have heral of dragons this is a Cornerstone of the deck very very important card to Mulligan for so get her in your opening hand play her right on turn two and you start getting pressure down immediately after she's a two man one two that says Dragon allies cost one less this is so nice you only get this passive if she's on the board so that's why you want to protect her if she gets shot by like Mystic or anything like that that you know that sucks that's why we want form up to protect however if we do get away with Harold on turn two we can then play shobana immediately on turn three instead of having to wait to turn four allowing your shobana to start getting value earlier right and she's a really strong unit so just overall really really good card we love Herold we want to get down Herold and then start playing our dragons faster and keep protecting them right super super important strategy and next we have single combat two Mana fast speed spell an ally and an enemy strike each other dealing their damage basically as if they were in combat so this is a really really important card for Deasia in general this is a really important card for Dragons we're going to want to set up like shiobana and then another midgame dragon and then use single to kill opponent's units that are trying to develop opponent's Champions elusiv things like that that way we can keep ahead on the board and deal with anything that the opponent wants to leave on their bench really really important mechanic we have multiple strike spells uh even shyvana generates more strike spells when she's leveled which is just a telling sign of how important this mechanic is to dragons in general next we have Double Dragons clutch this is a three Mane burst speed spell you get one of two effects you get to choose one of the effects is draw two different dragons from your deck which is really nice in case you need to refill your hand try to find your midgame dragons things like that so of course really really nice the second effect is give Dragon allies plus one plus one and overwhelm overwhelm is piercing damage so the situation that you want to be in when you play Dragon clutch for its second effect is you have a board of like four dragons they're really big and the opponent is just kind of like blocking them with cheap units you know like one ones two tws things like that and you're not getting any damage well then once the block is determined you can then dragons clutch for overwhelm and you might be able to push lethal damage from that because the piercing is just way too big on top of giving your uh dragons plus one plus one so that's super nice you can use this you know in combat you can use it as a little plus one protection if you're on defense or again you can use it as piercing damage on attack do keep in mind that this buff is permanent it is not going away for the round you get to keep overwhelm and the Plus One plus1 Forever on those dragons until they die so dragons clutch very solid card next we have ruined Dragon guard three Mana 34 when an ally with Fury kills a unit granted an additional plus one plus1 so you're basically just double dipping on the dragon fury procs this is really nice because all of our dragons have this so we're basically accelerating our stats at a faster Pace than normal so really good card to have on the board he's a 334 which is a really good stat line in and of itself can use to attack block pressure buff him all kinds of stuff next we have strafing strike another strike spell for us here three Mana fast speed an ally and an enemy strike each other just like the single combat that I showed earlier then if the Ally is a dragon heal it five so one thing to keep in mind your dragon needs to survive the strike for it to get the heal if it would die it just dies okay so keep keep that in mind when using strafing and it's also one more Mana but if you get this heal off this Mana increase is so worth the you know the price over single combat it's such a strong effect so really really good at keeping your dragons nice and healthy and you can basically cheat a lot of combats in your favor by using this card correctly next we have our first Champion shyvana she's a four Mana 34 with fury on attack call give me plus one plus one this round so she'll be a four five if you're playing her on attack four good she levels up if Dragon allies have dealt 16 damage over the course of the game so she can also come out leveled later which is also super cool now in her leveled up form she gains plus two plus two when she attacks instead of just the measly plus one plus one and she also creates a fleeting two CA strafing strike in hand fleeting means it goes away round end so you're going to want to save two mana and try to use this if it's good for you and here's the strafing strike again it's the card that we just talked about she makes it two mana and also it goes away round end so again really important card for the arch type and for like damasi in general we love the Striking so the fact that shyvana gives us a free one is super good if you have extra copies of shyvana in your hand while one is on the board the ones in your hand will transform into her Champion spell her Champion spell is a two- minute burst speed one that says Grant an ally Challenger so it can you know grab something in the combat whatever you want and if your allies a dragon that you're targeting with this effect draw one and put shyvana back in your deck pretty nice we really love the draw one it didn't used to have this effect so it's a pretty nice card if you want to hard run confront you can you can adjust the numbers and put confront in pretty solid card next we have White Flame protector this is like just a vanilla card nice and easy it's a common so it's easy to craft and it's a really good card to play around four Mana 4 four a fury just super solid if you have Herold on turn two and you don't have shobana in hand again this is Herold if you remember we get the discount so you play heral on Two And we don't have shiv well then we can play White Flame protector on turn three because of the discount and start using this as one of our midgame dragons to play around and we're pretty happy with that next we have screeching dragon as a five Mana 4 five with Challenger I know this card is given to you for like your login bonuses I think you get two copies of screeching on your day two as I'm like doing these videos like beginner stuff I'm noticing like some of the cards that you start with so I know that screeching is pretty easy to craft and come by so really really good card it has Challenger again so you can manipulate the attack in your favor grab whatever you want he's a big dude four attack is like enough to basically deal with everything even really important midgame Champions screeching can just kill outright and if they try to like protect then you have form up you have strike spells you can deal with pretty much anything with this guy so he's really good at um coming down in the mid game stabilizing your board in case you're behind getting even farther ahead if you are a little bit ahead really really solid card next we have eclipse dragon so this is one of our top end cards that's going to allow us to combo it's a really cool card so it has two effects one is Daybreak so Daybreak activates if it's the first card you play in a round so you need to play eclipse dragon first and you get this effect it says the next dragon or Celestial unit you play cost two less the important one is going to be the Dragon for the most part because of a certain combo in the deck we want to play eclipse on seven as first action and then with our tw- minute discount we can play our big boy aelan soul on turn eight you see that combo eclipse on seven asol on eight feels super good we're getting asol down at a cheaper and quicker pace and that feels awesome cuz aurelan soul is our big finisher card and he helps win the game immediately if he's not dealt with so really really good combo now if we also have heral the dragons on the board we love this then you can play eclipse on six and then you can play asol on seven so you even have like a one- turn faster combo if your Herald has been protected over the course of the game and not dealt with then you can get out this even faster which is another really sick combo to play around and it's really fun to pull off very quickly I'll talk about the Nightfall effect it doesn't happen too often but you can use it in case you are running low on resources and you really need to use the Nightfall to get a random dragon and Celestial in hand it's pretty simple all you have to do is not play this card first in the round and then you get the Nightfall effect right the opposite of Daybreak so super simple super nice this can also come up for the most part we're doing the Daybreak effect like nine out of 10 times but there will be that one Niche scenario where you want to Nightfall and get some extra resources to play around in the mid game and finally we have aurelian soul the big boy himself he's a 10 Mana 1010 with spell shield so he can basically prevent one spell from activating against him that's super good makes him nice and safe and of course he has Fury as his other keyword on play invoke a Celestial card that costs seven or more the celestial cards are their own set of cards that are um creatable essentially from like the invoke archetype for the most part they're just really big dudes really strong cards like for the units you have finishers like the scorge who just gives everything on your board big stats and overwhelm really really big right and then the Spells are like obliterate enemy units and things like that so you're going to pick one and then it goes to your hand round start create a random Celestial card in hand so these are going to be like more the cheaper ones maybe you can hit like the mid game ones things like that but you're basically just getting resources and they're always pretty good now what you want to do is level up your reion soul he levels up round end if your allies have 20 plus total power which is the attack stat so if you have a couple dragons on the board and you reach an attack set of 20 he levels and that basically makes your Celestial cards infinite value because they cost zero and you're also getting one every round start so really really broken let me just tell you aian soul and also Vigo are the hardest Champions to beat if they are leveled up if you get this resolved you are basically beating your opponent it's so hard to come back from that position so we are playing around it we're trying to get this asol level we're going to get big free celestials have a grand all time and the opponent is probably going to surrender before you even get to play most of them that's how strong asol is the opponent would rather surrender than even try to beat you if you level this guy so yeah we're going to be going for that playing that and just having fun with it it feels so good it feels so cool to pull off aant soul level and start popping off his Champion spell if you do have one on board and one in hand is uh really big removal it's just says deal 15 to All Enemies which is like drastically Overkill it's just going to wipe the opponent's board pretty pretty nice but we're not going to use it too often the reason that we only have two asol in this deck is because we have a lot of draw right we have Allegent which can draw us a card we have the dragon's clutch which can draw us dragons so for the most part we're probably going to get to him in the mid and late game we don't want to have three aelian Souls because if we open multiple copies then our hand is going to be inconsistent so that's why this deck is nice and cheap and efficient for new players because you only to craft the extra shyana cuz the game starts you off with two aelan Soul you don't even need to craft the third we're good to go if you want at any point you can upgrade the deck by putting in one of a champion of your choice like Morana is probably your best bet you can just throw in a Morana right put strafing strike down to two and then if you have Morana H there's no reason to not put her in she's a really strong mid game card so hey you have that option available to you as well and that's it for the deck rundown now here's a live coming commentary game so you can see how the deck plays out I'll be giving context why I'm playing certain cards and hopefully it gives you a good feel on how to play the deck and for this example game we're going to be fighting Morana aellos which sounds like a pretty strong combo I'm scared of this region combo as well that's usually been pretty good in the past so they have access to Mystic shot which sucks for our Herald however we are going to keep her I would also like to keep the eclipse dragon since we need to behold the dragon to get this allegion effect and we can probably get rid of the strafing strike since we have plenty of strikes in Our Deck nice this is a pretty good hand we could probably play Dragon Chow on turn one for sure and then decide Herald or Allegiant as we go into turn two both are great options but for the most part with Dragons what you want is at least one dragon in hand you also want some early game and then like a buff spell and a strike spell by like turn four turn five that's kind of what you're looking for a combination of different kinds of Cards Right unit buff strike and a dragon and then you're pretty happy so we're going to play Chow on one I probably want to play The Herald on two just for the off chance that we can hit shyvana on turn three since we are attacking on odds right odd turns we want to set up shyana on attack three that'd be really good the only way we can do that is if our Herold lives through one turn that's it she just needs to live one time so ideally we can get there all they have to do is play a two drop and then we have access to her so let's see what they are going to play on turn two nice we also have our Eclipse into a s combo um they probably have Mystic in hand but I'm going to play The Herald anyways right just for the off chance that they can't deal with her glory yep let the 21 attack that's fine there's a world where we could block with the dragon Chow but eh don't want to put it to one either all right so they did deal with our heral fortunate but it is what it is let's go ah and play the dragon Allegient now Elder Dragon I am your destiny and then we can just play like one of the dragons on four one of the dragons on five and kind of go from there we don't really need to attack here doesn't do a lot for us just going to hold the Allegiant back as a blocker dragon's clutch that's pretty good uh yeah we can go and block that I don't want to take too much damage to face and then we can play shivana Shiana will come down strike the Chow draw me a card gain some stats all good we love all this Sunburst that's a really big removal spell all right so as we can see they're playing pretty controlled they have a bunch of removal they're just shooting our dudes but that is quite all right we can go ahead and play another Herald here shape the and mold the Earth and then another shyvana if possible unless they have more removal Temple okay shobana Dragon and since we got our Herald back we can do the eclipse on six into asol on seven combo again which should feel pretty good attack with both of these since we now can push for the board away with you yep kill that kill that get the fury proc love that sunk Temple's kind of annoying it basically lets them redraw and then play cheaper cards later is really strong so they can find like infinite resources lots of stuff but if our Herald lives action we can play Eclipse no she's not living one action which is so typical um all right goodbye no eclipse on six we would have been really cool this game if we could get away with it but that's fine we can play like Allegiance and White Flame or we can play White Flame and hold dragon's clutch Mana I'm pretty happy with both of those yeah let's do that then let's play The White Flame first I'm not playing Herald anymore cuz the discounts not super valuable anymore essentially we can already just play Eclipse into ASO uh 7 eight so we don't really need her kind of down to just pass this finen here gives them a six cost spell they're going to have to deal with eclipse in the ASO curve here it should be pretty easy with like shackles and stuff it's going to be kind of annoying for me what's this steel five yeah I cannot protect shyvana no form up in hand means my dragons just kind of die to removal but it is what it is they're going to drop draw more yep yep and then we are going to play eclipse on 7 Day Break since that is the first card then we can play asou next turn yep there's the shackles that's the one let's go ahead and attack with the White Flame protector our unit can't attack unless I uh spend four Mana which I don't have so that's what shackles do cannot attack or block n n n n go and eat that little dude that's it all right I'm kind of down to strafing this then just go ahead and kill that Morana it's one of their Champions that's a very valuable card so we go ahead kill that and then heal back to full which is nice and then play a ReliOn soul on turn eight and that will be threatening his level so they're going to have to deal with that but this is basically what the deck wants to do just set up a couple dudes and play around them betray her she scor me silence that's okay aiant soul and then let's get um oblate enemies with three or less power that sounds like a pretty good card they don't have any denies because they're not playing Ionia nor sherea not even bandal City so they won't be able to stop the cosmic rays if that resolves all good we're threatening asol level see what they can do about it it's probably gon to be a whole lot of NADA right attacking um I'm down to block 10 1041 we can block with a raing soul cuz he has so much HP right he's so danky so I don't really mind H Cascade sure that's still not going to be nearly enough to do with my 1010 body here he's still leveling too so good luck with all that good luck my friend I guess I could have chosen the three2 and not let them get a weapon but whatever constellations B to me yeah I probably should have blocked the three too cuz then we could uh obliterate the the weapon actually no you would have been outside the attack range all right so let's go ahead and lead with the Destroyer sometimes you just it's a spell shield overwhelm unit and it's free because our reant souls leveled we're also going to play the cosmic rays once they play another unit here Beauty so that's good let's go ahead and do that bye-bye cosmic rays AOE obliterates you will no suffer all right Morana will no longer be obliterated so that's fine be still I am okay with this what else you got you got to have a little more than that Sunburst okay what shall we do about that guess nothing let us unshackle relian Soul cuz we want to attack with them send that send that and we can also unshackle the eclipse dragon or we can do dragon's clutch and give a soul overwhelm either way makes the Morana have to come up and block right so it doesn't matter which one I do I think I'd rather just unshackle at that point could I also go for a lethal with like Lieutenant I guess I could right if I play lieutenant and I play Allegiant then I can grab Morana on the far end push 20 damage and we have a lethal this turn okay let's try that for Dragon Fire I think we got it yep so that's what we would do and also if you want additional gameplay and more context follow me over on Twitch and see if you can catch me playing some dragons I'd be happy to answer your beginner questions and the next deck I have for you is a refined version of blades and Buccaneers AKA pirate burn this is the go-to very aggressive swarm and go wide aggro deck the main theme is to just Spam the board with units and attack relentlessly until the opponent dies and anything we can't do on board we can also try to close out with direct damage burn burn spells like noxin fervor and also double up so for our unit specifically we have crackshot cor which is a one Mana one one when allies attack deal one additional damage to the enemy Nexus for free really really good if you can stack multiple corsairs and just overall get more cheeky damage in next we have Jagged butcher a one Mana 2 two plunder plunder says a card activates its plunder ability when played if you damage the enemy Nexus this round so what you want to do is damage the enemy Nexus and then play Dr butcher to get an additional plus one plus1 boost however he's pretty fine just as a 2 two but yeah he can be a 3 three sometimes which is really good for pressure next we have Legion savitur one minuta 2 one on attack call Deal One to the enemy Nexus for free just like the crackshot Corsair but this one is attached to Legion seiter herself so pretty good pretty strong pretty aggressive Legion Seer is like a really good noxus card to craft early if you want to play any noxus burn strategy next we have Precious Pet one Mana 2 one with fierce fearsome says can only be blocked by enemies with three or more power so pretty annoying to try to block Precious Pet early a lot of opponents are going to have like one ones two ones two twos but not really a three attack unit so precious pet gets some like really cheesy early damage in next we have Arena Battle Caster two mana 2u on attack give other attacking allies plus one plus Z since we are swarming the board and having a lot of dudes down Arena Battle cter is also going to provide a big attack boost boost to everything allowing you to push even more damage next we have double Imperial demolitionist this is actually like one of our finisher cards this is not something that you want to play right on turn two this is something you play later down the line she is a 2- minute 2 two on play deal one to an ally to deal two to the enemy Nexus directly and that really helps in case the opponent has a little bit of HP left you can basically just finish them off next we have Legion Grenadier a 2-minute 32 so he's pretty aggressively sted gets a bunch of damage in if he gets a swing and also on last breath so when he dies deal one to the enemy Nexus for free basically adding up all these one free damages over the course of the game in order to uh finish off your opponent later on next we have triple Make It Rain fast speed spell for two Mana deal one to three different randomly targeted enemies or the enemy Nexus so best case scenario is the opponent has two one HP units on the board you kill them both and you also damage the enemy Nexus for one b basically for free that's just how Make It Rain works next we have Mari Warden she is a two Mana 21 when I'm summoned summon a random one cost follower the one costs on average are pretty good you're pretty happy seeing most of them there's a couple that have zero attack and that sucks like the dragon chow and the unscarred Reaver you know you hate to see those otherwise you're in a pretty good spot next we have Misfortune three Mana 33 when allies attack deal one to all battling enemies that are trying to block you and also the enemy Nexus for free so very very strong effect get in that extra damage make it really annoying for the opponents to block our board and she basically is a a glorified crackshot Corsair she's just a bigger version but with a better effect on level up I've seen you attack four times this is pretty much never going to happen you only level Misfortune in like scouts or Decks that have rallies that play around her in Pirates you're probably not going to attack four times with Misfortune on the board but if you do hey she has overwhelm and she deals three damage to the enemy Nexus but don't really worry about Misfortune too much we're not trying to protect her we're not trying to level her we're just using her as extra damage and a pretty strong body on turn three so keep that in mind extra copies of Misfortune become more copies of Make It Rain which we are already running so pretty good for removal and direct damage and next we have noxin fervor my favorite finisher card three Mana fast speed spell deal three to an ally to deal three to anything that includes the opponent's Nexus so there's a couple situations in which you can use noxin fervor if the opponent is trying to shoot your unit like let's say with a Mystic shot you can then do nox and fervor to turn your unit into three direct damage to the enemy Nexus because it was going to die to the Mystic anyways so nox and fervor really really good at that also if the opponent only has three HP left then nox and fervor can be a finisher card right basically close out the game be the last little bit of damage to um kill the opponent and you can use this in conjunction with other cards like Make It Rain you can do no fervor on your Grenadier for that one additional damage when he dies and basically combo with other stuff next we have barbed chain this is our draw card it's a little tricky it's a little hard to get used to but let me explain it it's normally four Mana it's a burst speed spell however on plunder so if you deal damage to the enemy Nexus it costs two which is nice then you will draw two at the next round start and the cards will be fleeting which means they go away so you actually want to use Barb chain like in the mid game as a way to draw like any last little bit of removal that you can or some more units to swarm with for one final attack push the the cards will be fleeting so you need to use them the turn after you activate Barb chain so just keep that in mind and you'll be in a pretty good spot it's really nice to have draw and cycle in Burn decks because sometimes that top deck fervor is exactly what you need to win the game and Barb chain help you get there next we have a couple double up double up is another finisher card five Mana fast speed spell deal two to an enemy if this kills it deal four to the enemy Nexus this is massive it's also fast speed so it can be used during combat and the best time to use this is when the opponent Taps out of Mana that way they don't have a response because you do have to kill the enemy unit for you to get the four damage you have to if the opponent has a buff spell and their unit lives or they have a kill spell and kill their own unit and double up doesn't work then it will not resolve and you will not get any damage so it's like a highrisk high reward you want to make sure you use this at the correct time and you will be rewarded wed accordingly and for our final card it is our other Champion Gangplank he's a five Mana 54 with overwhelm so he does piercing damage when I'm summoned summon a powder keg Powder Keg is a way to amp up your um skills and also your spells for one extra damage so now your fervor will deal four your Misfortune passive will deal two right your Make It Rain will deal too pretty nice it's just basically like spell amping uh he summons more than when he levels as well but in order to level them up you need to damage the enemy Nexus in five different rounds this can be kind of easy it can be kind of hard it kind of just depends on what your hand is and how you're playing cards but normally you'll have GP leveled by like seven and then you can use GP level to try to close out the game in case it is going a bit long because he does direct damage to the enemy Nexus as well and he also summons a powder keg every round start allowing you to deal extra damage with your spells to help close out the game extra copies of GP become parley says deal one to anything if this kills it deal one to the enemy Nexus as well if you're kind of scared you can just deal one to the enemy Nexus by itself you don't have to Target a unit you can just Target the Nexus directly and that's pretty nice in case you need to close out so keep that in mind sometimes that can come up especially with the damage amping from powderkeg and that's it for the deck rundown now here's a live commentary game so you can see how it plays out and for this example game we're going to be fighting Swain yasua which is a blast from the past dude Misfortune Gangplank Pirates versus Swain Yas what year is this this most recent rotations crazy this is actually like an OG matchup that's kind of exciting I'm happy about this so we are attacking on evens which means we want to be on Triple One Drops that way we can play a one drop on one and then double one drop on two which means we're going to Mulligan away the rest yes even Misfortune goodbye we want to prioritize swarming with our ones and twos before anything else that is the most important so we play Sao on one explosives if I top deack another Jagged butcher we could do a thing where we open with Sabo and then play double butcher we'll see Precious Pet nope we're going to play our triple one drop opener then saabo Precious Pet and butcher the FL Tails um yes we do not care about the plus one plus one here we care about the two two body it's usually good enough they're going to block 13 two one that kills it and they're still taking five that is a fourth of their life already gone on turn two so pretty good pacing let's see what else we can hit Precious Pet that's perfect we can keep curving we play Grenadier on here and Precious Pet right after that way we get out our entire hand and feel pretty happy that's going to be a 31 with quick attack so we'll let that hit play the Precious Pet yeah I'm kind of down to just like open attack this right before yaso can come down and be a blocker and be annoying yeah let's do it get a lot of the times you're setting up on defense so that you can do first action attack so basically What's Happening Here taking another five thank you and then we'll play one Barb chain I don't want to play them both we're play one Barb chain that way we draw extra next round start try to find some stuff to play around I'm not going to play the shot Corsair in hand in case I need that extra Mana to play my fleeting cards so let's go ahead and do that we have demo we have Grenadier perfect we can play them both this is fantastic love this Sentry that is a okay go ahead and play Grenadier in they probably will not attack with that Sentry yeah they're just going to attack with a 3 three quick attack we do not care we can take that to face play demo on the 32 since that's the only unit that won't die to our skill the like look at this look how annoying we are yeah I'm not blocking cuz we don't have to we don't have to block the quick attack unit we want to stay ahead on the board we're okay with taking damage to face and basically treating this like a damage race I'm also down to play Barb chain here that's perfect for a mana and then we can open attack with everything we are more WI wide than the opponent so it's going to be hard for them to block us we can always top deck fervors or like double up or something here Make It Rain that's good try to get extra damage that way so it's full send open attack turn six threatening lethal they need to be on a stun now are they on a stun let's see up oh no yeah no they're dying they're dying here comes a steel Tempest probably or a steel gaale yep uh living with two that is okay resolve I dare and then once combat finishes we'll play A Make It Rain that way we hit the blade twirler whatever they summon and also face that's optimal good damage very very good damage and then once our Grenadier dies to anything uh we win unless they heal if they have any healing somewhere Sentry okay as response to Sentry we play Make It Rain easy enough deals one to the three things that it has access to nopeify Classic Ionia denying my spell would you look at that play our fleeting Corsair and I'm actually kind of down to pass just in case we need board space for like Misfortune or something or another Corsair I mean that's good too corsair's can just hit the enemy face for free we can also block with these try to get our battle Caster that's extra attack for our open yeah we're in a pretty good spot we're in a pretty good spot I'd say cuz like now I can block the uh blade toiler cuz I need board space go on F just like I taught you yep get him the two to I'll play Corsair here I'll shoot the Wings off awp careful where you're that oh intimidating Roar is crazy oh my goodness okay so what I'm gonna have to do because I need to block this 23 attack blade toiler guys is replace one of my units probably the two one go no problem I mean we just have blockers for days I don't care about that yeah and then we would win on next open attack which again means first action attack nice and easy and the fin deck I have for you is a refined version of shrooms and Booms this is going to be the slowest deck to play it has like a lot of removal compared to the other two decks and it also wants to play some combos in the mid game making it the trickiest deck to play as well so if you're up for a challenge this is the beginner deck to go for if you want to play like a slower play style in standard the main theme of the deck is to play half puff caps and half these units that transform if you deal damage to the enemy Nexus kind of like plunder how we were just playing with blades and Buccaneers but round end we get a level up on these units right so we can access this damage from hitting directly hitting with spells like poison dart that targets the enemy Nexus and also puff caps which the opponent will draw over the course of the game damaging the Nexus for you allowing you to get these round end effects right so we kind of want to play a little bit slower we want to play a little bit more comboy and this is how we do it we start with poison dart which is a one Mana slow speed spell deal one to anything that includes the enemy Nexus and plant three poison puff caps in the enemy deck so this is best used on like one HP units or again enemy Nexus to get round end effects poison puff caps go into your opponent's deck right they attach to random cards and when the opponent draws a card with puff caps on it they take x amount of damage for however many puff caps are attached to said card sometimes they'll draw a card with one puff cap on it sometimes they'll draw a card with seven puff caps on it right so we want to load it up as much as possible so that they're taking damage over the course of the game kind of like a poison effect next we have teimo who is our puff cap Champion he's a one Mana one1 with elusive he can only be blocked by enemies that have elusive or a keyword called sharp site which just allows them to block elusive on Nexus strik so when he deals direct damage to the enemy Nexus plant five poison puff caps in the enemy deck and he levels up if you've planted 15 poison puff caps pretty good when he's leveled he now doubles the amount of poison puff caps in the opponent deck so if they got 30 in there well now they have 60 and their chance of drawing like lethal puff cap damage goes way through the roof extra copies of Teemo in your hand become teo's mushroom cloud which just puts five poison puff caps in the enemy deck next we have bitsy lizard who's a two Mena one two round end if you've damaged the enemy Nexus this round transforming into lava lizard lava lizard has increased stats it's a 34 and also has impact impact is a keyword that says when this strikes while attacking it deals one to the enemy Nexus for free next we have clump of WPS which is a two Mana tutu when I'm summoned create a mushroom cloud in hand allowing you to put more puff caps in the opponent's deck so pretty nice next we have glare glare is a two Mana slow speed spell that says Grant a unit gloom and draw one so Gloom is the enemy has minus one minus one you can stack this keyword as well so if you have multiple glares you can actually like Gloom something to death because it can reach zero HP and then you can kill it so really really good um it's really good at like also weakening other units that way you can combo glare with like poison dart you can combo glare with Mystic shot that way you can reach more units with it or just lower the opponent's attack which is nice as well and if you do Gloom something you get to draw one so the card Cycles itself next we have triple Mystic shot which is a pnz classic would recommend crafting this card as soon as possible if you want to play anything pilt over and Z related it is fast speed deal two to anything so you can use this on opponent's units or you can use it on the enemy Nexus next we we have puff cap pup two minute 2 two with quick attack while attacking strikes before its blocker so this basically means if the opponent is blocking with a two2 your puff cat pup will kill it and not take any damage back because it strikes first very very powerful on attack turns it does nothing on defense so keep that in mind also on strike plant three poison puff caps in the enemy deck this can be applied on attack or defense as long as it does damage then you put puff caps in the opponent's deck which is super good for Teemo next we have Chief knuckl talk he's a three Mana two four when an ally transforms fully heal it Grant at one one and impact so transforming is the bitsy lizard effect right it says transform me round end so it gets additional stats additional impact if nakot talk is on the board and sees this this also counts for champion level UPS by the way champion level UPS do count as a transform effect so if Teo levels while you have knot talk on the board teimo will gain an additional plus one plus1 fully heal and gain impact so nakot talk is a really good unit to have on your board right keep them on the bench and allow your Champions to level and also allow your other units like bitsy lizard to transform and gain additional stats and value next we have puff cap pedaller 3 Mana 33 when you play a spell plant three poison puff caps in the enemy deck we are generating spells from our clump of WPS right getting the mushroom cloud turning that into eight puff caps instead of just five we can play poison dart we can play glare Mystic shot every time we play a spell peder will throw an additional three in there so he's really good to keep on the bench and keep loading the opponent's Deck with these poisonous puff caps next we have chump WP four Mana 44 when of summon create two mushroom clouds in hand and then you can play these of course afterwards and if pedal is on the board that's even more so really good body really good puff caps next we have Nar our other Champion for minute 33 with quick attack on strike create a poke stick in hand or if you already have one reduce its cost by two making it free poke stick is a fast speed spell that says deal one to anything also draw one so really nice you get more draw get more cycle can deal one to anything including the opponent's Nexus which allows you to transform your dudes like your bitsy lizard and stuff round end right you see the Synergy there really really cool combos also Nar levels round end if you've damaged the enemy Nexus this round just like the bitsy lizard and just like the cards we're about to see coming up soon so Nar will transform once you deal damage and he has overwhelm he keeps his quick attack he's very strong when I level up Grant the strongest enemy vulnerable allowing you to grab it in combat and you can take out high priority targets with that vulnerable keyword very good also round end if I've seen you start the round with the attack token transform me back into littlear so Nar is really unique as he transforms up and down he levels up to Mega and then he goes back down to regular every time he does this by the way nakot talk will see a transform and keep giving him stats and impact stacking it indefinitely so that's something to keep in mind not only does Nar transform up to Mega Nar but going back down to regular Nar is also a transform guys that's a really cool combo really really awesome if you have the nakot talk it feels cool it feels super cool to pull this off Nar gets bigger over the course of the game gets strong use them as an overwhelmed windc con very very good extra copies of Nar becomes nar's wallup which says deal one to an enemy and stun it that's pretty simple three Mana deal one to an enemy stun it as well really good on attack really good on defense whenever you want to use the wall up really really good card if you do have the extra Nars in hand and for the final cards we have a bunch of transform units we have teeny dactyl which is a four Mana 43 round end if you damage the enemy next this round transform me into Terror dactal pterodactyl has increased stats impact and also round start deal one to the enemy Nexus so this starts stacking with the poison puff caps and you're like you know spitting at them with this extra damage the impact is coming in the puff caps are being drawn and the opponent basically just take poisonous damage and die from that it's kind of funny actually when you do get the ball rolling for this deck the opponent just kind of like dies from nowhere they're like I'm just I'm just taking so much damage from everywhere from every source so multiple pterodactyls on the board feels great multiple pterodactyls on the board plus puff caps feel great you're always getting the um enemy Nexus damage round star if you resolve just one pterodactyl so you can keep the transforms going for everything else so it's like a one card engine it's just super good next we have spotted toad 5 Mana 45 round end if you've damaged the enemy Nexus this round transform me into gig gromp gig gromp a 67 when I transform deal one to All Enemies so a little bit of AOE removal as well this is super good in conjunction with your glare your Mystic your poison dart you can kind of keep control the board right keep the opponent stuff down when you get the Giga Grump and finally we have mini mini T is a seven Mana 66 round end if you've damaged the enemy Nexus transform you into Mega T Mega T is increased also round start transform the strongest enemy into a 33 minity and silence it it can't block so now you basically have a lockdown strategy if you resolve megati and the opponent's trying to play really big units in the late game they're literally going to turn into little three three dudes that can't do anything they literally just can't block so and they're silenced so it's just really good really really good top end card I think you start with one or two of him he's really cute I really like him look at him he's so cute little fluff Ball but yeah um he's a menace and so is the rest of the deck once you get the ball rolling again it's the trickiest deck to learn because there is some like layers to the strategy and you have to like learn the ins and outs of it but it is a fun deck I wouldn't say it's the most powerful of the three I would definitely think that's fangs and fury the first one that I covered but yeah no this is a really good like strategy if you want to learn like the slower play Styles and the Decks that have a little bit more going on underneath the surface and you want to learn something a bit more complicated and that's it for the deck rundown now here's a live commentary game so you can see how it plays out and for this example game we're going to be fighting age of dragons which is a Morana Elder Dragon slow paace control deck that's actually really cool it wants to Mana ramp and then play really big age of dragons which allows you to play like five dragons for free right including Elder which is pretty sick we have Teo on one we have lizard glare puff pup this is honestly just like a pretty keepable hand we have a good mix of a removal card that draws us we have something to play early and we have puff cap Synergy and Al one of our transform units so just kind of happy overall let's go and play demo and attack with them on turn one of course that's five puff caps already in their deck you can always check the puff cap count by clicking on their deck and then oh they took one already which means we can play bitsy lizard dude it's so over bitsy lizard's going to go crazy here that's actually really unlucky for them puff cap on top one uh-oh itsy lizard and then we can open attack which is first action attack for the turn and then play glare after killing the cosmic youngling when it blocks my lava lizard that's the game plan at least so go ahead and oh you're attacking sure I guess so that's a okay it would heal itself round star anyway so pretty good attack right let's send it get more puff caps in there and then glare the young Ling that is the game plan dark binding is fine I'll unshackle him later not a big deal take the impact damage we shall flare that goodbye again if it would reduce it to zero HP it straight up kills it cool right let's do double puff cap pip on turn four and then we can do turn five she called me oh wow a silence that's kind of cringe but not that big of a deal I suppose it just took off our impact we already have the enhanced stats it's kind of what we care about so yeah we're going to do an open attack again before they can set up any block ERS like Morana who's kind of cringe life steal is pretty good into US of course so we don't like that shackle send it send it send it never know what back with everything I cannot turn back y sounds good puff cap puff cap puff caps success is planting your mushroom that is level Teo on turn five it's like decent pace blue Sentinel I kind of want to play the knuckle talk just to get him down on the bench another Cosmic young Ling see how slow they're playing they're playing very controlled hopefully we can Edge out with the uh the puff caps I think ped is really good here actually that way we can just start spamming oh fire spitter is so rough for me actually and they're healing off of it too because of the Elder Dragon passive oh man that's so rough fire spitter is such an annoying card okay I guess I'll just play like Clump then down in the you and then block here Mystic that we want to block with puff cat pup because he puts more poison and puff caps in the enemy deck so we'll kill that thing no problem I'm so sad if you can't tell there was a little fell asking for me so sad um okay it's pretty good let's attack with everything because our ped doesn't die so that's cool just full send it send it and then we'll probably play the mini day especially if they play something big here or if they play more G okay what's that when I'm summoned or heal your Nexus okay Min Mega is actually going to be kind of annoying for them at every round start I'm going to get this effect here locking down their board and they can't play age of dragons right now they're actually one Mane off from that oh dear that's a okay what T sure hit's going to get silenced I do not care about that I'm going to play spotted toad Giga gromp incoming uh sure we block this uh we block that no that's dying round start to Grump effect [ __ ] that 85 that's pretty good what what do they have for three Mana nothing I'm scared of actually so go and do this I don't want to take nine oh I'm taking infinite overwhelm owie okay well I'm glad I blocked that dragon's clutch was pretty clutch actually yeah really putting clutch into in the dragon's clutch there there they put some more mushrooms in there round start we're going to silence that we're going to kill that we're going to upgrade our round end I should say there you go and then they're taking mushroom damage we're open attacking dude this is pretty cool I actually haven't been in such a late game lockdown struggle like this wow that was actually really fun let's go Mega te and that's it for the three beginner decks extra shout out to the patrons on screen much love and thank you for supporting so yeah to wrap things up you probably want to pick one deck to work towards craft it in a week or so and then transition to a meta Deck with the same play style as the one you enjoy alternatively you can craft all three of these decks and play them a bunch to figure out what you like and have a strong starting point for learning the game and that's it for this one please like And subscribe if you thought this video was informative or entertaining it really helps me out I'll be releasing more deck profiles guides gameplay highlights and meta reports in the near future thank you so much for watching and have a good one lers [Music]
