But first, be sure to subscribe to our channel and hit that notification bell to keep getting amazing dance videos from STEEZY every single week Ok did you do it? Did you? Cool! Let's start dancing. Move number 1: The Side to Side Step. What you're gonna do is stand with your legs about shoulder width apart, make sure you're feeling comfortable, and bounce up and down like this. You're bringing your torso down on each beat while you pump your arms up Let's try this for one 8–count. Now, we're gonna add in your steps. Now repeat this after me. Right, together. Left, together. Right, together, Left, together. Right, together. Left, together. Right, together. Left, together. Right, together. Left, together. Ok. As you're stepping, you cannot forget about the bounce. This bounce is the foundation. Without it, you'd just be moving your feet, not doing the dance. See the difference? If you think about a dance move in layers, you have your core bounce, or groove, or rock, and then you have your steps and movements. We'll use this formula to break down each of these moves. So this first move uses the basic bounce and the side to side step Soul also shows how you can play with things like timing, leg positions, and body levels to add some spice to the move. Moving on! Number 2: The Steve Martin. Not related to Bam or Chris. You've probably seen this party move in a lot of TV shows, or movies, or even in people's choreography and it's so much fun to do. To do this move, lean forward on your right leg, lifting your left. Then, lean back on your left leg, lifting you right. Lean forward one more time, but now pivot your back leg to switch the direction of your torso Then, repeat this on the other side. The core of this move is The MC Rock. You notice your torso going forward and back? This is a movement that the master of ceremonies would do on stage in response to the music and their flow This motion became one of the core building blocks of Hip Hop dance. Next we have another party dance that was built from the MC Rock. Move number 3: The Superman. Hop on your left leg, lifting your right arm, and switch sides by hopping on your right leg, then lifting your left arm Let's try this for an 8–count. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Nice! These are just 3 examples of real Hip Hop moves with real Hip Hop bounces and rocks.
