welcome back my name is carrie and today i'm going to show you three very cool manufactured homes you have to see to believe manufactured homes come in a lot of shapes and sizes many of which people probably don't even realize exist when people think of the manufactured home industry the first thing that typically comes to mind is the standard single wide or double wide that have been synonymous with the industry for years the reason that type of home comes to mind for most people is because they're by far the most popular they're the bread and butter of the industry if you will what most people don't realize is those homes are just the tip of the iceberg for what's available and what's possible with factory built options so i think it's important to explore beyond the mainstream options because if people don't know what's available how are they going to buy it from modern designs to commercial buildings factory built options can be a solution to a bunch of different problems so what i'm going to do is show you three completely different homes that you might not have even known existed so let's do it the first house is what i think is the coolest factory built home available and that's the breeze house 2100 from blue homes the breeze house is a 2140 square foot home that's built in a factory and when it's fully set up looks like nothing else i've ever seen in the industry the home arrives in three pieces and is designed as a rancher to be set on a crawl space with a crane blue homes describes the breeze house 2100 as our most iconic home we designed it around our signature glass filled breeze base to seamlessly connect airy open interiors with the natural beauty of the outdoors perfect for year-round california living we have kept all the features that make the breeze house 2100 so special but have optimized the design to enable it to be built much faster than before the floor plan is split into two sections joined by a living space made up of the dining room and living room one half of the house has the main bedroom with the walk-in closet ensuite and second bedroom complete with its own full bathroom the other half has the kitchen which is fully open to the dining room a pantry laundry room third bathroom third bedroom and a flex room the flex room can be used as an extra living space or ordered as a fourth bedroom this place is absolutely huge probably overkill in size for a lot of people but for anyone looking for a little extra elbow room you're definitely going to find it in the breeze house 2100 blue homes has a 250 000 square foot facility in california that according to some sketchy forum used to be used to build submarines they've built and shipped homes to 31 different states and pride themselves on going the extra mile to include green features throughout the home from insulation and framing to low flowing fixtures that save on cost of water our hardwood floors help protect your home against allergens and mold every blue home is designed to maximize natural light and overall circulation of airflow additionally blue homes come net zero ready and are some of the most energy efficient homes available on the planet aside from the breeze house they do have some smaller homes available they have the origin 1900 the origin 1000 and the cabana 600 which they say works great as an accessory dwelling unit and if you follow my channel you know i'm a big fan of accessory dwelling units the breeze house is one of the coolest homes available but i never said it was the most affordable they're in the luxury prefab market and the price does reflect that the base price for the 2100 is 545 000 which as always may seem very affordable or very expensive depending on where you're located and the current housing market in that area i live in a moderately expensive housing market and here the breeze house would be comparable in price to a cookie cutter site built house so i would take the breeze house any day of the week given the choice if affordability is what you're after don't worry there are cool options in that department as well continuing with the modern look in a smaller package with a much smaller price tag is the one bedroom casa de silo from palm harbor this home is 500 square feet so just slightly larger than a tiny home with dimensions of 13 foot six by 37 feet with one bedroom and one bathroom the floor plan has the bedroom and bathroom stacked on one side of the house with access to the bathroom from the bedroom and the hall i would suggest a pocket door at least from the bedroom just so you don't have doors on doors it'll save a bit of space the model shown is flooded with natural light with the additional windows on the front that are made possible with the extra height from the model slope roof this home would be perfect for someone downsizing a cottage or an accessory dwelling unit what i like about this home is you get the cool look that a lot of people look for in the tiny units but without the massive price tag that we're seeing with a lot of the new accessory dwelling units the casa de silo is built by palm harbor but being shown by homes direct at a price of 63 091 dollars homes in this size range vary drastically from around fifty thousand dollars up to multiple six figures so i like that this home by palm harbor is on the affordable end of the spectrum palm harbor is a manufactured and modular home builder that has been in the industry for over 40 years in the industry they're considered innovators in the design construction and marketing of manufactured and modular homes with a mission to build and sell customers dream homes that exceed their expectations 500 square feet isn't going to be enough space for a lot of people so let me show you something really crazy here's a 24 foot wide cottage series from sri regent and get this it comes in one piece that's right a single wide that's 24 feet wide this home has two bedrooms two bathrooms an open living room kitchen and a laundry room with a total footprint of 1248 square feet not including the optional covered deck the benefit of getting a 24 foot wide home in one piece is it cuts down on the on-site setup work that usually comes with a home that arrives in two pieces so instead of the home being shipped into 12-foot wide units and being put together on site it's built as one unit in the factory cutting down on site setup of course means cutting down on costs and setup time which are both factors that should be music to people's ears the reason sri region is able to build a 24 foot wide single wide is partially because of the origin of their factory the regent factory was originally an aircraft hangar so it has doors that are wide enough to accommodate an airplane's wingspan the other reason is they're in an area that allows for 24 foot wide homes to be shipped while most other factories are restricted to much narrower widths the extra wide single wides are a very popular option for region listed on their website under what they're known for they can build and ship a home with up to 1700 square feet of living space in a single module think about that for a second seventeen hundred square feet of home rolling down the street and showing up on site in one piece it's absolutely wild not too many other factories can say the same thing actually i haven't heard of any other factories that can say the same sri region has been building manufactured in modular homes since the 1960s and are known as one of the most versatile plants in canada these are just a few examples of factory built homes that are available right now that people might not even realize are an option factory built homes can fill a lot of different needs in the housing market from affordable to high-end so i'm going to continue to explore and talk about some of the less known options we currently have available because i think this industry is just getting warmed up that's all i've got for today if you like manufactured home videos make sure to subscribe to my channel because i've got new ones coming out every single week thanks for watching we'll see
