evening when we have prayer from seven to eight the number is on the screen the time is on the screen and we do ask you to respond then tuesday evening we have another prayer session and that starts at eight o'clock ends at 9 30. you see the number on the screen and there's an alternate number also then thursday evening thursday evening from 8 00 to 9. you'll see the number there and the id number friday seven to nine pm the number is listed there and there's an alternate number also also 9 15 to 10 30 another great prayer session morning sessions monday tuesday wednesday thursday friday from 5 30 to 6 30 and on saturday six o'clock to seven o'clock our noon prayer session is on wednesday that goes from 12 to 1 30 the telephone number is there and we would like to invite you to share then wednesday also but in the evening at six there is the last of the summer extravaganza and this is promoted carried through by our christian education ministry wednesday evening also we have bible study at 7 30. we do want to ask you to come and share with us in the house for bible study then to all of our couples please remember the couple's trivia that said september 9 from seven o'clock to all of us come and worship and praise and magnify the lord so you don't want to be not in place for back of youth service on friday saturday september 11th special extra special community outreach and by now you should have given in your food items and lightly use clothing and back-to-school supplies and cash if you haven't done so you have until wednesday the latest to do that and then we want some volunteers to come on monday tuesday wednesday beginning at 10 o'clock on through the day [Music] to help us to put the bags together so we can be ready for the distribution exercise volunteers monday tuesday wednesday any time after 10 o'clock then we come now to sunday september 12th we have two services and the times are on the screen and we want you to note that and finally finally finally all nations apostolic tabernacle [Music] in association with csi that's compassion services international we are engaged in an activity designed to provide resources to help our brothers and sisters indeed as the sign says to love on the people of haiti so we do ask you to make available a contribution of fifty dollars that would put together a nice emergency bag comprising those things you see on the screen if you can buy two bags or three bags or four bags or as many bags as the lord has blessed you to be able to buy we do ask you to give consideration to that this brings to an end appropriately one soul at a time reeve committed to minister to the haitian people brother greeks sister andrea forrest to the italians and sister maurice powell to the trinidadians we have received from them progress reports which we shall now share with you with great delight praise the lord everyone sister brandi reed had this to say i have been learning and practicing creole conversational phrases recently on my way to work i met a haitian gentleman and was able to communicate with him using some of the creole phrases i learned i invited him to anat to visit but he was not ready to attend an in-person service with the help of friends work commenced to translate english tracks into creole also i started my online search to locate haitians who are living in new york i found several living in brooklyn and queens and sent them friend requests i still await their responses [Applause] i have identified a couple of people with whom i intend to interact in order to learn more about the greek culture thereafter i will target a few people for home bible study mr mornis powell writes i have been in contact with a trinidadian family through whatsapp messages periodic phone calls and prayer recently this family lost three relatives in response to my request participants on the prayer line as well as other members of anat have been praying for the family also i have been in contact with a trinidanian young man who has visited services at anat he told me that he was baptized in the name of jesus christ sister andrea force had this to say i continued to invite my friends my neighbors to church trusting the lord for their positive responses positive response responses because of the physical problem i was unable to distribute tracts lord willing though this will be done amen amen our responsibility is to bring the whole gospel to the whole world and by the whole church as members we recall under the banner of more nations into all nations our sister brandy reid committed herself to working with the asian people who lives in new york the story of the country of alia however is more than a catalogue of natural disasters which have brought untold grief pain and dislocations to many thousands of its citizens it is more than a compilation of life-shattering activities relating to social political and economical upheavals though it is the fact that the story includes the miraculous transformation experienced by thousands of asians who heard and accepted the gospel of jesus christ over a period of 20 years it is fitting to share with you a few highlights of what the lord has done through the lives of missionaries and national workers the information provided below was derived from a 2018 report submitted by missionaries ron and terry bryan who have been laboring there for 17 years there are 569 established apostolic churches in the country of haiti amen the membership of these this constituents stood at 49 770 and this was in 2018. to date over the 17-year period missionaries ron and terry brian have witnessed 14 473 persons receive the baptism of the holy ghost speaking in tongues of the spirit of god gives the utterance there's an apostolic bible school with an enrollment of 80 persons who are receiving ministerial training and these will be sent out over the country there's an orphanage currently while operating under the name trudy's kids this provides shelter for 15 kids and presently there is a building that's been established now that's been built now that to hold 15 more children also there's a school an established school that teaches grade levels kids uh the their um languages english language math arithmetic everything and so there's a need uh with the partnership with compassion services international a mobile clinic was created uh was established to offer needed health services to the people currently in 2021 there is an eye clinic a dental clinic and health link for the people of 80. somebody give god praise for that these accompli accomplishments have contributed to the fulfillment of our mission to this world to bring the gospel to every creature personally i was challenged and moved to tears upon thinking about the welfare of these or brothers and sisters of all the children who have lost families through in these disasters there is no doubt that we need to preach the gospel to the asian people who reside in haiti as those who reside in new york city this gospel is the power of god unto the salvation of everyone that believeth you can help by joining the prayer strike force for praying for 80 daily and you can join also the giving strike force by giving monthly promise your faith promised monthly god we should bless you as we preach the whole gospel to the stand please everyone so the song that we heard a while ago sought to emphasize the fact that our god is unchangeable we serve an unchangeable god so his commission to the church has not changed so the sub-theme of our service today the whole gospel to the whole world by the whole church is applicable to all of us i pray that as the one who has been chosen to preach the message comes and does that i pray that our hearts will be engaged in the the task that we have the urgency of carrying it through and then and perhaps most importantly the fact that the lord has empowered us to do just that may the lord bless in the night brother my dear leader as he comes now to preach the word of the lord hallelujah hallelujah can we lift our hands and let's worship the lord one more time before we take our seeds he's worthy this afternoon he's worthy this afternoon we worship you jesus can we lift our voices and just give him some more worship give him some more worship hallelujah we bless always a privilege and an honor to come into the house of god and to feel his presence how many don't take it lightly that you can feel his presence he is precious is he precious to anyone this afternoon is he precious to you on this side is he precious to you on this side is it precious to those on the balcony is he precious to those watching by a live stream hallelujah jesus is precious hallelujah want to take this time to greet pastor and i know he probably won't like this faster bishop devon dawson [Music] and they rejoined us in our absence and pastor stewart and sister stewart retuned the mighty name of jesus and i greet all the wonderful saints of god looking so good going through a pandemic but still looking good isn't god good our god is great and greatly to be praised and i'm always glad for the opportunity to share jesus with everyone and every anyone amen i'll read in your hearing from first peter uh 2 verse 7 and then you may take your seats first speech or two verse seven and i'll read it in your hearing it says wherefore is that verse seven okay maybe i have the wrong one wherefore also it is contained in the scripture behold i lay in zion achieve cornerstone elect precious and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded so it was verse 6 thank you and i'll read one more time wherefore also it is contained in the scripture behold i lay in zion a chief cornerstone elect precious and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded you may take your seats in jesus name jesus is precious to me jesus is precious to me as we take up the responsibility to share jesus with the whole world by the whole church we have to ensure that jesus stays precious to us and as he stays precious to us we are able to more effectively and efficiently share him with others if you go back into first peter chapter one verse 3 it says blessed be god and father of our lord jesus christ which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again onto a lively hope by the resurrection of jesus christ from the dead how many are glad this afternoon that jesus was dead but he's now alive forevermore i am so glad that he rose from the dead i am so glad that he is alive forevermore it might sound cliche but if that didn't happen we would not be here this afternoon hallelujah first peter 1 verse 7 says that the trial of your faith being much more precious and that precious there you're gonna hear that word precious a whole lot if your neighbor is sleeping just kind of nudge them that the trial of your faith being much more precious somebody say precious when you hear the word precious think about the fact that that means held as of great price so something that's very valuable the trial of your fate being much more precious than of gold that perish it so the things that we go through and the storms that we face that we were singing about i know we don't like to go through them but it's as you're going through those things that god is working something precious in you and that is precious even than gold that the world seeks after every single day my god and so we ought to thank god when we're going through what we're going through even when we're going through we should give him praise and keep our focus on him because he's working something precious inside of us first peter 1 8 and 9 says for as much as he know that you are not redeemed with corruptable things as silver and gold from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers but you were redeemed i was redeemed you were redeemed we were redeemed somebody said with the precious blood of christ precious blood of christ as of a lamb without blemish and without spot somebody say thank god for the blood the blood of jesus is precious my god first peter 2 4 says to whom coming talking about jesus as unto a living stone disallowed indeed of men but chosen of god and somebody shouted man precious what are we talking about here this afternoon precious so in in so jesus in in first peter one is our lively hope somebody say my lively hope because jesus lives forever my hope is in him that i will live with him one day forever and because he lives i can face tomorrow anybody glad that jesus is alive forevermore he is my living my lively hope and we continue to see that he's not just our lively hope but he is seen as a living stone peter here refers to jesus as the foundation stone talking about the spiritual building of god jesus is the foundation stone the chief cornerstone and we today are built upon that stone and so logic therefore says because he lives forever because he is precious and chosen of god he is god that the logic says whoever is connected whoever is in this building is precious and will live forever anybody glad that they are connected to the chief cornerstone this afternoon second part of first peter 2 verse 4 says that this living stone was rejected by the jewish leaders men of that day they were they rejected him but he was chosen of god and precious and the word precious there is talking about being held in honor prize isaiah 28 verse 16 says therefore thus saith the lord behold i lay in zion for a foundation a stone a tried stone a precious cornerstone a sure foundation jesus is an everlasting and sure foundation on which we can build our lives somebody tell your neighbor get in jesus tell your neighbor build on jesus because if you do this you will never be moved but if you refuse him you're sure to end in wreckage somebody say choose jesus the fact is that we are unable to provide the right kind a foundation for our lives we try to establish our own but it's nothing that will last long it's it's not storm proof but jesus has no comparison jesus is precious and we are invited to appreciate him we are invited to wander at him we are invited to value him and we are invited to build our lives on him he is the precious cornerstone prized to the highest jesus is a tried stone he was tried tested and was proven to be glorious obedient he was the obedient son of god in all things tried and precious because his blood somebody said his blood was not just bloodless answers of another spotless lamb but his blood was precious blood for it wash the sins of man and this blood heals my body anybody heal this afternoon and it sets my spirit free no other blood but the blood jesus for me somebody says jesus is precious hallelujah without his applied blood our lives our sins will remain with us bible says without the shedding of blood there is no remission or move a removal of sins i i need the blood of jesus anybody thanking god for his blood this afternoon he is precious the bible lets us know why jesus is so precious to us because we are in him the bible says we are in him we are built upon him we are in him we who in time pass and i know i'm testifying to somebody as well as myself we who in time past were not a people my god we were not a people but now we are the people of god uh we which we have obtained we did not obtain mercy in in past times but now we have obtained mercy we gentiles who were not a part of god's chosen people but now because we have repented of our sins and now because we believe in jesus christ and now because we have gone in down uh into the waters of baptism now because we are filled with his spirit he has taken us from obscurity and brought us into his royalty my god now we are precious in his sight anybody glad for jesus this afternoon he is precious bible says we were fornicators and revilers and drunkards and thieves stained with sin but now because of jesus we are now sons and daughters of the living god some people don't want to walk this way they prefer the popular crowd in the world but i'd rather have jesus than silver and gold my god when you're in jesus and built on this foundation you're always in the majority oh yes because you are precious and you are royalty your identity is from heaven thank you jesus jesus makes us precious hallelujah thank you jesus how do you know jesus is precious in your eyes not everybody sees him as precious even though he is precious but if you go down some more in the scripture in first peter 2 it says to them who believe somebody say believe to them who believe he is precious the word believe right there is is is not just acknowledging him it's not just saying that he is god but the word believe right there in first peter 2 is talking about showing action that you believe in him that you not just know who he is but because you believe in him you follow him to them who believe he is precious so how do we know if jesus is precious to us luke 7 verse 36 and i don't know how much i'm going to read here but i'm just going to try to get the point up across how do you know if jesus is precious to you well the scripture says and i'll read it and one of the pharisees desired him that he would eat with him and he went into the pharisees house and sat down to meet somebody say sat down to meet yes verse 37 says and behold a woman in the city which was a sinner somebody showed sinner when she knew that jesus sat at meat in the pharisees house brought an alabaster box off ointment scripture also lets us know in another part that it was uh called spitenard and spikenard is a class of aromatic amber colored essential oil used over centuries as a perfume somebody say perfume perfume perfume where are we going with this verse 38 says and and i want to see you the seat in your mind's eye verse 38 says and this woman stood at his feet behind him weeping and began to wash his feet with tears and did wipe them with the ears of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with ointment now now now uh multimedia person can you help me out can you throw up song of solomon chapter 1 verse 12 because we know the story we know the story and we know that she came in a sinner somebody who was not yet connected to jesus came in song of solomon chapter 1 verse 12. she came in and she began to take that precious ointment and she was weeping and she was washing his feet with her tears and another scripture says that she even put it in his here on his head and we understand and know that jesus said that she was anointing him for his burial but son of solomon also gives us this understanding song of solomon says while the king sitted at his table my spitenard sended forth the smell thereof this precious ointment that she used that was in her alabaster box it couldn't be used for any and anything but this woman decided to use it on jesus a sinner and son of solomon is looking at us and telling us while the king sitted at his table i see king jesus sitting at the table about to eat that she uses spikenard her spitenard sends forth a smell thereof i started hearing scriptures as sense4 it's a sweet smelling savor and i get to understand that this woman though she was there real it also tells me that because jesus was precious to her worship came she had no choice something in her cost her to take out her most precious ointments and go before the king and use this most precious ointment and begin to wipe it in his ear and begin to smear it over his feet what does that tell me when jesus is precious to you you will reach down from a place on the inside and you will offer to him precious ointment you will offer to him worship that can only come from the inside the song says he reaches down and touches a place on the inside that no human could ever touch is jesus precious to anyone in this building this afternoon this was a sinner but something jesus said or something jesus did caused her to reach for her most precious ointments something that cost a lot something that took time to prepare and said i'm gonna offer this to jesus because he is precious in my sight now if a sinner can do that what do the saints do when they think about where jesus has brought them from when you think of the bondage he took you from i hear somebody in here saying you were there the night jesus found me you didn't feel what i felt when he wrapped his loving arms around me and you don't know the cost of the oil you don't know the cost is he precious to you this afternoon oh my god and so that tells me there might be a people in here that are not filled with the holy ghost but but something maybe you've heard about jesus and something maybe he has done for your family or your family member that causes something on your inside to say i feel like i need to express something to him i feel like i need to come down to a pentecostal altar and give myself to him i feel like i need to give him my all hey somebody yes you're in here and you have not yet gone down into the waters of baptism but i am here to tell you that there's something in you that jesus wants so some people you don't know how to attract him you want him but you don't know how to attract him son of solomon says why are the kings seated at the table my spineard my worship my worship because yeah am not in his presence [Music] i'm not his presence yet but my my my spine sends forth a smell in other words i know what to use to attract the king he wants something precious that's on my inside yes jesus is there anybody that wants his presence bad enough is there anybody that wants his presence bad enough is there anybody else out here that wants to sin that spite now saying come jesus come jesus ah here is room for you is there anybody in the sanctuary here ah that you have spike night you have precious ointment in you that you want to ski you want to offer it up to the king i feel like giving us about 30 seconds to do that it might not be for everybody but there are some people here that has brought your alabaster box with them whether you are a sinner or a saint you've got some precious spider to offer up to the king you've been waiting all week and now you have the opportunity to come before the king and break your alabaster box give it give it give it give it precious ointment precious ointment is he precious is he precious is he precious to you ah yes yes yes yes yes yes yes ah yes yes yes yes yes and so jesus turned to them because they're saying how could you if you were a prophet you wouldn't let this woman touch you oh god but jesus said ah yeah yeah yeah jesus answered them because and i'm so glad that this woman did not care when you have precious ointment in you and you're you have an appointment with a king you can't hear what your neighbor says you want him and you want him all to yourself come on somebody yes yes yes yes and so jesus answered them and say yes yes yes you're judge you're judged rightfully ah but see as though this woman i entered into thine house though gave us me no water for my feet but she had washed my feet with her tears and wiped them with the ears of her head though gave us me no kiss but this but this woman since the time i came in had not ceased to kiss my feet my head with oil though this is not anoint but this woman hath anointed my feet with ointments wherefore i see unto thee her sins which are many that present moment she came to him as a sinner and the message is to to anyone who is not in christ especially today she came to him as a sinner but by the time she offered her all to him here was the result here was the response wherefore i say unto thee her sins which are many are forgiven for she loved much but who much who to whom little is forgiven the same loving little is there anyone here this afternoon that jesus has done so much for you you have so much to give back to him oh my god my god my god my god bearing precious ointment and we're going to open up the altar eventually for people to comment to offer that ointment precious jesus somebody say precious precious jesus when he's precious to you you will give him the best of you you won't come into an even service like this and give him half but you will give the king everything uh when he is precious to you you will do anything that he says ah yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes ah he is precious he's precious in infancy he started the king in childhood he puzzled doctors somebody's wondering why he's so precious to us in manhood he ruled the course of nature walked upon the waves as pavement and hush the sea to sleep he healed the multitudes without medicine anybody wondering why he's precious and made no charge for his service he never wrote a book yet perhaps all the libraries of the world could not hold the books that have written about him he never wrote a song and yet he has furnished the theme for more sons than all the songwriters combining never practice psychiatry and yet he has healed more broken hearts than all doctors foreign proud statesmen of greece and rome of common god the names of the past scientists and philosophers and theologians have come and gone but the name of this man multiplies more and more though time has spread 1900 years between the people of this generation and the markers at his crucifixion he still lives anybody wondering why he is precious he stands forth upon the highest pinnacle of heavenly glory he is proclaimed as god acknowledged by angels adored by saints and feared by devils his name is jesus christ stand with me and i want us to use this opportunity before i turn over the mic is there anybody that has precious spikenard to offer to the king as he sits at needs i want you to go ahead and if you have it just begin to offer it up to him because the results when you want him when you really want him you will push past the disciples when you've waited for him all week and you got the opportunity to come into his house ah you'll push past disciples you'll push past any obstacle in your way and when you get to him you'll wash his feet with your tears jesus said wherever this gospel is preached this that this woman have done will also be mentioned offer up your spike now this afternoon because jesus is precious god bless you you just want to come down just a few moments you have something precious if you feed jesus precious just a full moment hallelujah thank you jesus come down let us just worship him somebody want to come and break your alabaster box right before him right now hallelujah hallelujah i love you lord for your mercy never fails me all my days have been held in your hands from the moment that i way come on come on we won't be long but you're going through something and you want to express it to him you want to express how he feels how he's always been to you do you hold jesus precious this afternoon [Music] to them who believe he's precious the preacher said they're going to open up they're going to express themselves they're going to worship him hallelujah all my life you have been faithful all my life you have been all so good hallelujah oh jesus when jesus is precious to us we will worship when jesus is precious to us we will pour out the most precious thing we have to him oh i will offer up my sacrifice of praise someone lift your hands and worship him right now hallelujah hallelujah oh all my life you have been faithful all my life you
