you got to get carlini a cup of coffee for this he's got to get one for this his link is in the video description and if you want to help Caesar with his therapy bills this link is there as well IIIi think first off what we should do is you know give props to Caesar I think that's a very very first thing we should do just because I don't think anybody's ever queen that fast against Carlini in a game ever I think you did it under three minutes for maybe four I don't remember but yeah the nobody's ever queen against Carlini that early before usually they queen really really long into the endgame but that is the first never happened and so we gotta give props to Caesar and before everyone becomes an armchair GM and starts roasting a Caesar in the comments below about how he couldn't win with two queens there there's something I think we needed to highlight that I don't think I've highlighted in other analysis obviously the hardest game to win is one game that was a big component as well as carlini's trash-talked the time pressure and just kind of slowly began to realize that carlini's not going down without a fight and on all that mixed together kind of contributed to to that loss but I think one factor that goes unnoticed is that the reason why Carlene is trash talk is so good is like it's 99% catchphrases and what's significant about that is when you have a catchphrase obviously you have it memorized so you can spit it out and but compare that to Caesar he was like trying to come up with responses to those catchphrases every single time and what that does is it takes away brain power from the game when you spin out a catchphrase it just takes one percent of your brain and you have ninety nine percent to pay attention to the chess game when you're trying to come up with responses on the fly that detracts attention from your brain on that on the chess board and I would say you get split 7030 maybe maybe even 60% on the chess board 40% try and come up with the response I mean so that's why I think it's really easy for armchair grandmasters say oh I could have won that I mean yeah maybe if you were playing online but when you're playing in real life and you have that banter and and Caesar was trying to make it entertaining coming up with that banter that does come at a mental cost to to paying attention on the chess board so I think factors like that need to be understood and incorporated and kind of give you a better appreciation of what happens in real life games like this so I think it's a mix of all those factors carlini's trash-talk you know the hardest game to win is one game the kind of the overconfidence you kind of feel when you have two queens trying to come up with responses to to a trash talker while trying to play accurate on the board time pressure you know you got the camera on you and you roll all those factors together and I don't know what the proportions would be of those factors but that you know when you have that whole picture you can better appreciate this game and and and and give props to both players you know it's really easy to just be an armchair grandmaster and just type away in the comments oh you know how did he lose with two queens Lola but you got to take you got to have a deeper understanding of what it's like to play chess like this in that kind of environment so I just want to point all that out before we go into the analysis so but yeah wow this is a game for the ages in a mortal game Caesar doing great job like I said in the beginning just couldn't close it out because of all those factors and totally totally understandable and well you got to give it up for carlini - man that guy is a legend there's a reason why like we call him the great man he just figures out a way to slip I did like he bathes in wd-40 baby oil he rubs it before he comes play chess I don't know what his secret is but but he is a slippery slippery chess player and the greatest comeback king of all time the Geo 82 goat and yeah I never forget man get that get that shirt man and if you wear that you will never remember I mean never forget this game and you will persist in your own chess game so definitely get that shirt the link is in the video description below and okay all right that's that's a long rambling but let's get to the analysis now and let's figure out how Carlini kind of could have avoided the two queens as well as how Caesar could have close out the game so in this position we had Queen d2 was played let's go move and then we saw what happening right the discovered check he got the push and then eventually got the Queenie so going back here instead of Queen d2 will be another move for black here all right just the simple Queen before and if he decides to play and computer still house white winning here at 2.1 or at 1.8 but I mean if Carlini came back from two Queens I'm sure being up two points is not a big deal I mean being down two points from carlini side is not a big deal so that could have been one way to go all right let's figure out how Caesar could close out the game here in this position in the game Queen BC 7 was play to go move back close this game out as white all right forcing moves our best queen takes a 7 check let's let's see what happens we will cover what happens if King tastes let's just see what happens if King g8 King goes away then now would you play as white here yes Queen check cage 7 and then would he play yes again Queen takes and King takes and then you have mate so yeah I think I think Caesar just didn't want us you know quote-unquote sack his the Queen that he works so hard to get so alright but here Queen what happens if King takes if King takes and rook check and Queen b7 and nothing really black can do try to delay the inevitable but this would be mate so oh so that was one area where Caesar could close let's go here in this position and in the game Queeny semo's place go move back close this game out as I was white here all right starts off with rook a7 and yeah maybe this is a little hard to see because it's not a forcing move immediately but you know what's coming next I mean nothing black can do at this point maybe grab a rook but check and this will be mate all right let's go to this position and in the game rook d7 those plates go move back close this game out as white here all right Bishop takes and King age seven discovered check and this will be made so that could have been the way to go and this one is a heartbreaker this one is the heartbreaker you know why here in this position white or white plays Queen ch-check loses the Queen this was matin one by the way right here is maiden want to find it as white oh yes this is a heartbreaker Queen c7 check me though you one move away from maid and you have the Queen that's how brutal chess is every move matters in chess every move matters in chess so and last but not least this is Caesars last chance to to win in the game in the game rook h8 was plates go move back so so this this Bishop is hanging so what can what white -
