are you ready to see some of the coolest geological formations planet Earth is filled with tons of unique landforms and there are new geological discoveries being made every day I'm Mike with was 25 and while there are numerous places that could have been included on this list we've narrowed it down to these 25 strangest geological formations on earth [Music] 25 moya rocky boulders New Zealand these unusually large and spherical boulders lie along a stretch of koa Kohei beach on the coast of new zealand their origin has been the subject of numerous Maori legends but scientifically speaking they're the result of coastal erosion 24 white desert egypt known as sahara al Bayda with sahara meaning desert this barren stretch of unique land is located 45 kilometres outside the town of thought Ofra it's famous for its white cream color and its massive choc rock formations that are the result of occasional sandstorms in the area 23 the Giant's Causeway Northern Ireland the Giant's Causeway is an area of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns the result of an ancient volcanic eruption the tops of the columns formed stepping stones that lead from the cliff foot and disappear onto the
