247. in this episode we are going to debate whether or not her deserves the majority of the blame for the charges collapse what's next for the Vikings pitching a team of our choice to Lamar Jackson the Chargers would win that game they should have won they were up 27-0 um they didn't win that game though bucks and cowboys definitely Cowboys information leading towards them but the Tom Brady factor you know and then the other one the other loss was the the Vikings and Giants was there to say we all knew should have been favored in that game but that doesn't no I picked the Vikings because I got to ride with I got to ride with school no doubt so your emotions told you that my emotions told me my emotions told me that you know what I just got to go with Kirk Cousins really the facts the facts of the fact because even if you go back if you go back to the predictions and you look at my analysis of the game you know Drew even mentioned it he was like I feel like you're no way you're picking a Giants I was like yeah I know my information is leaning Giants but it was leading I got to go I thought you were gonna go judge I know I know he was going to try to bait us into it that's Thursdays shouldn't have I still am pretty confident in the bills um but the NFC is very tough what if the Super Bowl is Jaguars and Giants I'm not watching this [ __ ] it's what do you mean NFL will went up 350 percent this season and I'm talking about even after if you invested into him two two starts after his first career start you would have still came up 100 on him we invested to him before this wild card playoff game we all invested a hundred dollars the bonus I think Drew made of invest may have invested more and just by this game alone he went up 26 and Mojo has a multiplier on it and like stabilize a bit bit but this guy brought Kerdi there's not really many defenses that he should be really afraid of no it only wants his own and he's not gonna have to play them so he's good listen Purdy we've been talking about Purdy a lot these last months as as we should and uh I feel like a lot of it has been kind of well you know he's in the system with Shanahan and these weapons but I mean look at Skylar Thompson and a very similar offense with weapons he doesn't look like Brock Purdy so I mean look at look at guys like he looks better than Joe Flacco had this year than Chris Trevor so I mean there's guys that you could be putting in offense with weapons and good coach and all of this but if you're not performing you still have to hit those throws you still he's an athletic player he can make throws on the run so I know we've been giving Purdy a lot of slack but you see other quarterbacks you've seen back up quarterbacks look at I mean Huntley doesn't have the weapons but Brock Purdy at the bare minimum is one of the best backup quarterbacks in the league and that seems like his floor right now getting emotional you're spinning it's like I could get over there there's there is such thing as system quarterbacks no doubt about it but there are certain times where you believe this guy's assistant quarterback then it should be expected that the guy behind us should come in and at least kind of replicate it hasn't been seen that often this season and Brock Purdy whatever you want to say that obviously Kyle Shanahan is a mastermind in my opinion the second best offensive mind in the game right behind Andy Reed he's been playing better than Jimmy G this this season and Jimmy G was playing great in his own right and Brock produce come in and played just a little bit better a testament to him in his work ethic I can't I cannot hate on it and I refuse to I mean he was the last pick in the NFL draft this is really out of a fairy tale so I'm very happy for Brock and I want to see him continue to succeed man we definitely have Investments on him we haven't we have rotten on it we're riding a party so you're back in no no no no no no I cannot I cannot hear you talk illness what's the percentage chance he's the starter week one next year I think it's Trey Lance's job what's what's the percentage chance I'll be honest mine continues to go higher and higher I think it's probably it's 50 50 right now I think they'll have it that's high yeah me too at the bare minimum that's why I don't feel like it's just Lance's job period yeah but I do I will say Brock party has been better than Jimmy Garoppolo and the biggest reason for that is that he's just he's complete and throws Under Pressure definitely he's way better under pressure than Jimmy garage and stuff like that that's more mobile I just think Trey Lance has all that and more he does yeah I know that he's strong I am going to bed on the talent on Trey Lance and Trey Lance is somebody who's Uber talented he is and I think he has great character this this entire time he's been rooting for Brock I mean he has Instagram stories of a crown with Brock Purdy whenever he reposts them I think that he's a locker room guy the team loves him and I'm gonna bet on his upside and talent I think Trey lands but maybe he's healthy will be great maybe with all this Brock Purdy hype now is the time to get in on Trey Lance on Mojo while everyone's going crazy Purdy's up you know 200 since he started yeah and now you have you have trade Lance through obviously number three overall pick trade three first to go up and get them we've seen the system if Brock Purdy Jimmy G you have guys who are not regarded as the most physically talented if you have Trey land step in who is physically talented if he's able to pick up his offense and be accurate I mean we're talking about a guy who could have a Jalen hurts type season and be in that mvp consideration you know when when things happen people tend to overlook them for the most part especially when it's happened a while ago I was looking at this the other day of Trey Lance's career game log and the one game he played this year it was against the Bears and it's unfortunate what happened you know I mean it was it was raining and then the weather was the second game you played like a series I think he played one drive and got hurt so it's just unfortunate but you look at his first career start it was against Arizona they lost 10-17 he had a 51 completion percentage 192 yards zero touchdowns one interception so not very good but then his next start which was week 16. yeah he completed 70 of his passes had 249 yards he was critical of that game one interception yeah yeah I was I I thought you know I saw flaws in that game for sure I didn't think it was a perfect game but it was a good game and he gave you like rushing too like I feel like one of those games he had like 80 or 90. he had a 116 rating in this game and he had 31 yards rushing you know that I was definitely critical of that game it was because it wasn't like groundbreaking it was good though and I think with him having more reps and offense he can do that consistently I'm gonna bet on his upside you know I love the Brock party story but I don't know what this is and for a reference on Mojo um an average starter's career's value I think is between 50 to 60 dollars so Brad Pitt right now is eight dollars Trey Lance is I think twenty dollars my answer's at 16 right now 16. so you know if you you know if you're torn between trailers and Brock Purdy honestly you could put a little money you could get them both yeah and if you think they're at least going to be an average starter in the NFL you know that is going to go way up lancer's at forty dollars to start the year then when he got injured it dropped to 30. but really once Purdy started you know around November it went from that 40 30 and then now it's been dropping 25 20. now down to 16. I mean this might be the cheapest to get Lance the only way I don't see Purdy the only way I see Purdy being the starter next year is if he wins the whole thing if he's the Super Bowl champion he will be the starter he had in my opinion you earned that if he loses then I think that it's Trey Lance is for the taking no doubt there's no doubt if he does that he ends it and I think you can argue right now he's earned it you could argue that for sure I mean he's had the production and he's winning games undefeated there's a reason why a lot of NFL fans are excuse me man let me say Niner fans want him to be their quarterback and are willing to move off lands of course you mentioned it the capital they gave up to a choir Lance was a lot but [ __ ] if he's going to win you the Super Bowl you pretend that that was Brock Purdy trust me I'm here with you all right yeah and Trevor Lawrence he had an all-time bad and all-time great performance in the same game four in this episode in the first half and the second half four touchdowns he was perfect and if this guy thinks that we're not bringing up those tweets I promise you I promise you I promise you I wasn't trying to delete those I wasn't there so we can we can play like you know you guys definitely had your phone with Joel but I'm sorry they didn't they didn't no they didn't no they didn't they were nice about it it was just so so ironic to me and the only reason why I do bring it up is because he tweeted at me when it things were looking Rocky for the Jaguars and I was like man I don't want to see Trev go out like this he was like pick a side man no say that he didn't say that and I said use your eyes and read please and then ironically this guy has the gull the audacity to to tweet that this guy is he just might just be a choker that might just be who he is Trevor Lawrence choke job moments 2020 National chip 2021 sugar bowl and now the 2023 wild card game why should we be surprised this might just be who he is he's definitely he's definitely not Joe burrow he's nuts he's not Joe burrow but Trevor Lawrence is great tweet deleted was insane I can't have that up there for what waited till the game was over like he's going to say something you know you know we do I know exactly why he tweeted it because it was formatted beautifully it was gonna get a ton of likes no doubt about it he was ready for the glory and then at what point did you delete it like what what moment made you delete the Tweet third quarter at the end third quarter so it wasn't even like you saw the future you saw it coming together no I yeah I literally was watching my dad and I told him like they're gonna come back in this game I think you I think you handled it well though because I was cracking up at The Tick Tock videos and the Twitter videos like listen I know y'all saw something like that I'm sorry that did not happen you know what's funny is I try to make it I try to make some satire out of it and I posted that tweet on Twitter and those people that were replying to it because I started out to tweet like you know I know some tweets from a long time ago resurfaced making it sound like it's worse than it is and people are just like what are the tweets what are the tweets uh he was he called Trevor Lord to choke her oh it's not that serious oh my goodness he was definitely trying to towards choker though I was like wow I I couldn't believe what I was saying couldn't believe it two of them weren't all his fault though no they weren't I told you to pick a side though because I didn't mean Trevor Lawrence and Justin Herbert have the Legacy Game No Doubt no no I said I I was definitely on the side of Herbert there no doubt but that being said that doesn't take away from the fact I don't want to see Trevor Lawrence fail especially in that manner why do I want to see that I thought he has to unfortunately no for sure I'm dead I'm sure there's definitely Jags haters but why do I want to see Trevor Lawrence in his first playoff game this guy who's supposed to be the future of the league one of the futures of the league in his first playoff game have one of the worst first hats we've ever seen from a guy she was rough I was happy to see him come back honestly I definitely was not bitter about it I was happy to be wrong she was rough it was crazy this is 27 is nice 27 is nuts yo oh my God bro it was insane it's one of the crazier games and you know I was really thinking about it for a second I forgot that the Patriots and the Falcons game was 25 points because obviously what sticks in your head is 28 because 28 to three but they really overcame a deficit more than now I think that was just like all in a fourth quarter no no they had 11 points in the fourth okay yeah no but the past Falcons game wasn't that like towards the end of the third that's what the score was like that it was a minute 50 left in the third is way worse at least the Jags came out guns blazing in the third yeah we'll talk about this in the second half earlier that touchdown was huge you're right and we'll talk about the charges collapse now I want to get your gauge on this because according to Mojo the quarterbacks with the most future career value are my home is one two Herbert three Allen four Borough and five Trevor Lawrence that means they believe Justin Herbert will have a better career than Josh Allen Joe burrow and Trevor Lawrence he's the youngest I don't know but they're all young they're all like 26 at the oldest I don't know I feel like 23. yeah but even still Herbert's great obviously he's one of the most talented quarterbacks we've seen and we've put him in this top five talk really all season I've definitely had him at five coming into the season I don't know how he could sit here right now and think he's gonna have the second highest value than anyone in the league especially look at a guy like Joe burrow who's been to the Super Bowl already he's right in the midst of another playoff run I mean Herbert just got bounced out you have Josh Allen who's probably more talented than him and you also have guys behind him like Lamar Jackson already has unanimous MVP you have Trevor Lawrence who obviously hasn't had actually has had more success than I should say because he has a playoff win on his resume he's more he was the most generational quarterback we've seen since the Andrew Lux and Peyton Manning's he came into the league year one with Urban Meyer was a mess but year two when he has a confident coach we saw him take a huge huge leap this year so Justin Herbert gets a lot of praise and we we always say how great of a quarterback he is and the social media quarterback that's been going on with these highlight level plays which I don't agree with with the take from acho but I understand what he's saying but at some point he's got he's got to get the playoff wins man if you want to have the second highest future value on Mojo you got to have playoff wins you got to get a conference championships division titles Super Bowl titles because right now I look at guys behind him like Joe burrow who's done it already and say why isn't he ranked higher are you saying Herbert should be fifth here I would definitely have burrow over him I would probably still have Josh Allen over him um and Lamar's a conversation too Lamar I mean we're it's a bit of a question it's a bit of a question because we don't know what Lamar's future holds as a team but right now I mean Where's Lamar do you have that I don't know I do he is underneath guys right now this is future value well right now I'm just going by Price Dak Prescott costs more than Lamar Jackson right now DeSean Watson costs more than Lamar Jackson right now Kirk Cousins cost more than Lamar Jackson right now Joe burrow Russell Wilson obviously he's older and he's a future Hall of Famer but Justin Herbert Josh Allen and Patrick bones actually right now Josh Allen maybe it's different but I'm looking at in terms of price right now Patrick homes 139 Josh Allen's 101. Justin Herbert's 92. Joe Burrows 83 I'll include Kirk in this conversation because it's kind of crazy how hot he is he's 74. desean's also 74 Dax 68 and Lamar is 66. and I see Joe Flacco right above the Marvel yeah so base basically what it is is that part of the price that they use some of it is earned and some of it is future value so Lamar has 26 dollars and 35 cents earned 40 40 is future value so let me get another Young quarterback in the NFL so Lamar Jackson has 40 of future value put the Sean in there I guess DeShaun Watson yeah that's a great name DeSean has 47 of future value I just have this question before I I spazz but I I have this question really first uh so I hope that I don't have to spaz um for the future in your opinion who are you taking Joe borrow Justin Herbert I'll take bro you have you have Herbert in terms of talent absolutely Herbert Herbert's talents the sky's the limit for him but aren't we right now sorry to cut you off just talking about their future like what's your future value exactly why I asked you who would you take and you said Joe burrow correct yes all right which is why I'm gonna continue when it comes to the future I do believe that Justin Herbert's gonna get over this hump inevitably it's gonna happen they started on the right track again I'm sorry to we're going to go on to this topic and it's going to sound it's the very next topic okay so I'm happy about this obviously uh Joe Lombardi is no longer going to be the offensive coordinator they're going to get someone that's going to work with Justin Herbert and continue to develop them as well I believe they fired the the quarterback coach as well so this is just all in benefit to Justin Herbert this was a bad moment absolutely and I called that this was a legacy game for Justin Harper because we're going to have conversations like this that we're gonna impact the way that we look at Justin Herbert and I'm not going to be oblivious I'm not going to say that this loss isn't on Justin Herbert as well no doubt he deserves blaming this but I'm not gonna allow allow it to cloud my future judgment on Justin Herbert I understand how talented how talented he is and I see Joe burrow and I see Josh absolutely these guys are amazing this is a very exclusive conversation that we're having right now but I still understand Justin Herbert's talent and I trust his talent more than I trust Josh Allen and burrow and that's saying something of to what Herbert has shown me and I know that the last that we've seen of Herbert is one of the worst collapses we've seen in NFL history but I'm not gonna allow that to I'm not going to allow the recency to come in and change my opinion on Herbert I know who he is I know what he can be and I understand the situation that he's in I'm looking at Burrow I'm looking at Josh Allen Josh Allen and Herbert's definitely a conversation in terms of situation where you could say It's relatively similar but the offensive line that Justin Herbert's had this season was not what he had last season the weapons that he had this season are not the same weapons that he had this season and that's also in part to the coach as well leaving Mike Williams to play longer than he did so no doubt about it I still believe that Justin Harvard deserves to be number two on this list I believe in terms of talent he is still the second most talented out of these guys but I just I just have a problem with the fact that we had been Harbor guys this whole time we've been Herbert guys you I give you your credit I gotta defend Del's here oh really it's because you flip to your side because we're [ __ ] side Bros I saw that it was funny I got a Defender man look what you said is beautiful I think there's a chance that in 10 years it can age beautifully and you know we're sitting here like yeah you're definitely right on that it's not crazy to say Joe bro she rather take him for the future absolutely and I understand you you mentioned the Herbert situation and Joe Bro has three lost starters on the offensive line fair enough and they beat the Ravens he looked ugly he was great to me and I'm going I'll go over that game when we do the previews because I think because of the numbers people don't think bro it was great the defense was really good absolutely in terms of the chess match I felt like burrow handle that as great as a quarterback can handle it I I did but but I will say this it's a good point Joe bro yeah you see Jamar Chase Tyler Boyd and T Higgins and Joe Mixon yes but the running game was not going this year no there was winning then they adjusted it started going Zach Taylor's not the greatest play caller I think he's good but I definitely think Joe Bro raises that ceiling Joe Bro mitigates situations I understand the weapons borough has for sure but there's other things other than weapons that I think matter that you know hold her hold Burl back definitely and I understand what you I'm him his you gave him his credit but we were a little bit more on the side of he was good he was not the all-world player that something he is so now this year or yes I think statistically burrow had the better season but also I believe burro had the better situation and the better offensive line for a majority of the Season except for recently where the guy started to fall apart where Herbert was winning games basically with with Josh Palmer DeAndre Carter Gerald Everett and Austin Eckler and this is where the guy in Joe Lombardi who has limited Herbert up until this point in time but he still was winning games and made it to the this isn't a who would you take in a vacuum we know the situations we know the Situation's burrow gonna be in for the next five years and we know the situation Herbert's gonna be for the night I cannot agree more so like it's just very hard for me to see a world where I see what borough has and all of the weapons he has and the defense that's been phenomenal for the last two years especially in division that might be losing the mar and then I see the situation with the Chargers where Brandon Staley could be fired not this year but maybe next year he gets fired his weapons are aging Mike Will can't stay healthy he's a division with Patrick Mahomes so they're they're both great but right now who do I think it's hard they're like we're talking about the top four guys in the league we could go back and forth on this all day but right now borough has had more success in terms of making it further in the playoffs and statistically and going for the future I like his situation more because his team has done more for him than they have for Justin Herbert question fellas um love with you all are saying it's very interesting how we're all at ability to get out the pocket and make plays he can do that and then with the Joe burrow he has no offensive line you know his his smartness on the field mitigates that coaching problem because he's just that good with Herbert for like I think over the past two three years it is a lot of excuses that he just and it's not nothing wrong with it you know but it's just a lot of things that hinder him and I don't think he can mitigate the same amount of problems that Josh Allen and Joe burrow has and I think that has to factor into because regardless of the five teams like five years you know with Joe burrow and Josh Allen you put an okay roster with them offensively they're gonna get that [ __ ] done and and here's what I have to say to rebuke that um last year he was one of the main reasons and by one of I mean in my opinion the main reason they almost made it to the playoffs last year I'm talking against the Raiders where it was fourth down and he made that crazy throw to Mike Williams Mike Williams deserves credit that was a great clutch catch but on fourth down how many fourth down conversions did Herbert have on that last drive he was going crazy Herbert was all world and stepped up to the moment I think in this position where against the Jaguars he got too comfortable and and sometimes that could be a fall of a person no doubt he thought that he had this game in the back he trusted his guys and it was a fail but last year he left the field where I could say you know what he left everything that he had on that field no doubt I I just I don't know I've seen like burrow in the playoffs I seen Allen in the playoffs they're pretty much [ __ ] amazing in the playoffs and Justin Herbert's first time in you're supposed to show out you know you won the four best quarterbacks and it's not all your fault but you didn't come to play like those two guys and I know right now it doesn't look good because Josh I don't play like [ __ ] against Miami but for the most part for his standards and his his last two three seasons of him being the lead he's pretty much put on a amazing performance every time he's got into the playoffs and Joe burrow had a pretty great run last year Cameron Dicker in a position to kick a field goal that would have put it at more than a field goals distance and we won't we might not even be having this conversation right now but Dicker misses the 40-yard field goal then it turns over to Jacksonville they go down of course they score a touchdown they were rolling and then you get another chance if you're Justin Harbor you got to do something a three and out it's not going to get it done they had multiple chances and it was multiple three and out outside of that one opportunity with Cameron Dicker where he could have he could have put the game away at the minimum forced Jacksonville to go down the field and score a touchdown and if you're one of those fans that are saying look what Jacksonville has been doing of course they were going to go down the field and score a touchdown I'm sorry I can't have that conversation with you because we got to live off what happened they they ran the clock they kicked the field goal that was it they were allowed that luxury so yes I think that you do have to place blame on Justin Herbert because he is the quarterback he is the the captain the leader of that team he needs to be put he needs to to better put this team in a position where you can't blow a 27 point lead you can't give the the third highest the third most points in in a comeback and not deserve blame but I am looking at Joe Lombardi and there's a reason why he was fired almost immediately after this game Joel Lombardi the fact that they you know we just had this whole segment on Austin Eckler and how you know they didn't trust him as a running back that is a testament to Joe Lombardi however you may feel on Austin Eckler the fact that he had 13 carries total in this game is irresponsible I don't care that he he did not have the most efficient game you have to trust Austin Eckler one of the main reasons why you guys are in this position that you're in of course it starts with Herbert but right next on that line is Austin Eckler Austin Eckler I again we just had this whole conversation last two seasons 40 touchdowns this season over 1600 scrimmage yards get him the ball and you did feel the absence of Mike Will so yes there is some blame to be placed on Brandon Staley as well he had an amazing first half second half second half he completely collapsed you needed a big player and unfortunately you did not have that luxury of Mike Will he is the perfect counterpart to Keenan now where Keenan Allen is more of a possession receiver and Mike Will allows you that luxury to go deep I am a fan of Joshua palmer but Josh Palmer is also in that realm with with Keenan Allen of course not to that degree Kian Allen special he it's that's not at all what I'm saying but Josh Palmer is a possession guy gets you on a slant get you a quick round and make it make a catch you needed that big play guy Mike Will was not there so Staley does get some blame but the fact that Austin Echo was not utilized as much as he should have I don't care if you don't think that Austin Echo is a good rusher you could laugh all you want give him the opportunity live and die at least say you know what we gave the ball to one of the League's best backs in the game and it didn't work out it is what it is you didn't do that instead you were giving opportunity to Josh Kelly what does it what kind of decision is that again you could take this high horse mentality he averaged 2.7 yards of Gary he was not he was not good in the first half no doubt and and that's what you want to say fine if again like I said he was not efficient but at a point you still have to ride with your guy because one like it or not I love Derrick Henry as much as the next guy Derek Henry's one of my favorite guys to watch in the league Derrick Henry gets 30 touches a game even though he's not that efficient because why do you give it to him because he's your best offensive player that's Derek Henry we're not going to talk about Austin neck like he's not putting up his store touchdown numbers course Derrick Henry is the best runner in the game bro I'm sorry I just think you're going crazy with the Eckler love really yes really no no I don't know because your best offensive player first drive for the second half for the Chargers First and Ten Eckler negative four yards it's second and fourteen should they run it in that position at second or 14 at least get a pass to him do something pass short middle to Tarik McKinney for for five yards I think he said his name wrong whatever 39 are you giving it to Africa okay that's what I'm saying First and Ten because he completed a first down he completed first half past 39. okay First and Ten Herbert completes another first down on the ver on the third on the third up basically possession on that drive first down they pass it second down they pass it okay it's a pass to Eckler incomplete it's Fourth and ten they punt it the next Drive First and Ten I don't know why they pass the team to Gerald ever but they did but it got so many clear running down First and Ten you just gave me two jobs back to back that Echo didn't touch the ball right let me finish first intent on that first they go through every single Drive First and Ten on that drive he completed a 21-yard passage Everett that resulted in her first down on that first down they pass it again incomplete but when he drives in a row on first down but they are passing the ball but then Herbert got a first down on SEC on second down First and Ten Eckler Rush negative one yards negative one yards very next Drive we've got less used context we also just went over this that their first lines very next Drive First and Ten Eckler no gain why are you giving him the ball and then then he put Joshua Kelly in the game and what did he do he got four yards in his first Carry and then he hasn't he didn't he didn't do much but Eckler did nothing the answer was not giving you just gave me three player listen all season long Herbert what are we doing here Herbert doesn't I I don't at least I don't think there's a lot of blame for this loss yes 27-0 is a bad collapse and mind you when these collapses happen I am very consistent with the blame and no blame gain game Matt Ryan Matt Ryan Matt Ryan was labeled a choker for his 28-3 collapse I'm the only one that still says heated and choke because I don't believe he was the one that let the team down he actually put the team in a position to win he did Justin Herbert you look at the stats they're not good the Jaguars capped off the third largest comeback in NFL postseason history Herbert completed 58th percent of his passes 27 3 yards one touchdown 84 rated we know it's not you know those aren't great numbers I do agree that I Herbert's Bad Games tend to get swept under the rug especially in the regular season but the postseason is just so much on it that you know a game like this will not get swept under the rug there are some truth to that but I think a lot of people that watch Herbert don't understand the context of the situation Joe Lombardi is a bad play caller he is when Joe Lombardi was hired on to Staley's staff and I just read recent information that Staley's First Choice was Kevin O'Connell that would have been very fun I've been lit Joe Lombardi was always a bad hire I always thought he was going to limit Justin Herbert they had the 26 run block and offensive line so they can't run the ball they have the ninth best pass blocking unit and there's such a big discrepancy because Justin Herbert mitigates the offensive line because he doesn't allow pressure sure they can't run the ball at all in their passing game this is not very good the wide receivers can't be anyone deep their best wide receiver is Keenan Allen and Keenan Allen has had the most consistent and solid career he's a great wide receiver no doubt he was I don't think he's a great Wide Receiver right now is a great number two it's not a number one anymore guys in the league Keenan Allen has always been a possession receiver he's not a beater I mean 10 years ago when he was coming to the draft of the combine I think he ran a 4-7 yeah slow 40. he's not he's not getting any faster so he's slowing is crazy and Mike Williams did not play and that's huge because that's their deep but although he's not fast he can catch 50 50 balls negative one rushing yards after going up 27-0 you could say the charger should have been more conservative I don't think running the ball is the answer they can't run the ball Herbert was getting them first downs and this stat is alarming PFF has something called perfectly covered plays and it measures the percentage of players the offense had that was perfectly covered by the defense he charges offense versus the Jags defense had a percentage of 58 percent the second highest only behind the Bucks offense versus Cowboys defense and that's why you know the Tom Brady wash narrative is also kind of like dumb because I mean there was nothing open in that game either League average is 34 percent which means that they were basically the Jags knew everything the Chargers were going to do offensively and that's because Joe Lombardi is predictable and uncreative he's not a good play designer play caller and last show I want to apologize because I vouch for Sean Penn getting this job and you know I think it would have been a great move but I'm not opposed to them keeping on Brandon Staley and just firing Shane Dane's Joe Lombardi because Brandon Staley has been one of the better defensive play callers and game planners in the League this season this is the same coach that held the chief so one of their scoring low one of their lowest scoring outputs of the season in week three and that shut down this red hot Miami Dolphins offense now that was Brandon Staley so I want to give him some credit what I didn't like about Brandon Stanley is that what do we know him for being an ultra aggressive head coach I'm going for it on four down but he was conservative in this game there were zero four down attempts in his game on Fourth and three on Jacksonville's 22-yard line the score was 30 to 20 at the at this point it's Fourth and three you're at the 22-yard line you keep this drive alive it can result in a touchdown you have Justin Herbert but instead he trots out the kicker and he misses the field goal look I don't think money I understand it's a it's a chip shot but fourth and three the brand of stale I know and I've seen goes for right there I saw him go for it against the Cleveland Browns when they were at Midfield and they were up by like one point and all the Browns he did was 10 yards to to win the game but he went for it because he trusted Herbert so Brandon Stanley should have went for it and this year he's gone for its six most on fourth down attempts so I thought the conservativeness the non-aggression was what caused Brandon's daily this game and Joe Lombardi in part because he's a very conservative Coach Joe Lombardi failed with Matthew Stafford I put up some stats on my Twitter the other day about the about Matthew Stafford and how much he improved after Lombardi left Detroit and Matthew Stafford 2015 starts with Lombardi 12 touchdowns on interceptions 87 passer rating lions were one in six without him he had 20 touchdowns four interceptions 105 passer rating and record was was six and three Joe Lombardi he was rightfully fired I don't blame much of this game on Justin Herbert I think there are times he could have been better there's no doubt but when you're going out there and the entire offense is you and there are certain quarterbacks in the league right now that are in offenses that asked them to carry a gigantic load Josh Allen is one of them Justin Herbert is one of them stop Lamar Jackson is one of them you're crude for that you're crude I the best thing the Chargers can do right now is hire the right offensive play caller and Draft receivers you need an overhaul at the receiver position like I like Josh Palmer I do I like Mike Will I like Keenan mckina's getting a lot of money you know there's a there's definitely question a question about what his future looks like in with the with the Chargers they need a draft receiver they need to sign some guys some speedsters and you need they need to take advantage of Justin Herbert's talents they're playing him like he's too just a dink and dunk quarterback Jesus you're Daniel Jones right he let in average it's why am I even gonna I'm I'm really not giving Justin Herbert a ton to blame either here um first of all the first half he was damn near perfect I mean you put up 27 points so first I mean that was mean what come on man [ __ ] I should have said Teddy Bridgewater okay that's more fair sorry I revised my statement Teddy Bridge was gonna say because two was showed out this year yeah the first first drive Herbert excuse me the first half Herbert was damn near perfect they had eight possessions touchdown field goal punt touchdown touchdown punt field goal punt I mean if you're scoring more than you're punting odds are you're gonna be up in the game odds are you should be winning games if you're scoring touchdowns more than you're punting or the same amount as you're punting three punts three field goal excuse me three points three touchdowns in the first half that's what the Chargers did the first half they were dominant and I think what really stood out to me was the first drive of the second half the last Drive of the first half was to drive the charges excuse me the Jags went down the field scored a touchdown you felt the momentum and and that Chargers first drive they got the they got the ball first in the second half they were going down the field right this is after Jacksonville is getting some momentum there they get a touchdown they have the ball in the 25 they're starting to go down the field it's 3-9 Herbert steps up in the pocket hits Cheryl Dever he evades pressure makes a guy Miss hit show whatever he gets a 20 30 yard gain um eventually they they get stopped in a sense I think that was when you're talking about all snackler negative four yards and completion it's ended up being fourth and ten from Jacksonville's 38. now we know Brandon Staley as you mentioned being a very aggressive guy not only did I see him go for it on the 50 against the Browns I've seen him go for it on his own 30-yard line at times I understand this is fourth and ten instead of you know fourth in one or fourth and two it's a different situation but we've seen coaches the most aggressive coaches tend to win look at Brian dable this past weekend he was going forward on fourth down in the Red Zone they end up getting touched on one of those plays so that fourth and ten play where it's a 38-yard line you could kick maybe a 50-ish yard field goal Dicker has been pretty solid ever since he's came there but I understand it's a long field goal you could go for it I know it's Fourth and ten but you have Justin Herbert a top four quarterback as we've been discussing or you could punt it and they ended up punting it and you go for from the 38 and Jacksonville gets the ball on their own like 12 yard line so you end up giving them 20 yards that's the the big thing you did instead of going for that last attempt with Justin Herbert you're all World level quarterback you end up punching the ball and aggressiveness really wins in the NFL that's the way if you're one-on-one play all games if you really want to make an impact you have to be more aggressive and I never thought I was going to be up here saying Brandon Staley has to be more aggressive but I thought in this in this situation he did after that drive Jacksonville gets to gets the ball 14 plays 90 yards leads to a touchdown 27-14 now we're rolling the game's on to two touchdown game everyone feels Jacksonville is momentum everyone feels that this could be the statement game for Trevor Lawrence and even still after that touchdown drive that Trevor Lawrence had the next Drive the charger scored a field goal drive after that they had a 14 play 60-yard drive that took up seven minutes and then the drive after that was the missed field goal 40 yards by Dicker so it's not like Justin Herbert was going out here and putting up three and outs and taking off 35 seconds on the clock and the second half they had 37-yard possession 45-yard possession four and a 58-yard possession Herbert did his job Herbert I understand maybe the points weren't there in the second half but he had multiple opportunities all three times were in Jacksonville's side of the field so at the bare minimum you should be giving your defense a long field to go back on the other side the defense obviously let up big play as you had Evan Ingram Kirk and Zay Jones all over 70 receiving yards E10 over 100 rushing yards Trevor with three passing touchdowns in the second half and we mentioned the Chargers arson Eckler 13 carries 35 yards Josh Kelly seven carries 20 yards their longest Rush on the day was 13 yards by Justin Herbert so you know he only had a handful of carries but still that goes to show you that there still needs to be some balance once we're going to talk about the Vikings a little bit I thought that was a big issue for them as well where it is hard especially um for an offense when the defense knows what's coming when you're not able to run the ball and the defense knows the only way you're really going to move the ball on me is passing it's a lot easier for a defense to do it you know sometimes you have the Personnel like Jacksonville who ended up locking it up in the second half and you have some teams like Minnesota who doesn't have the personnel and you could still just pass on them all you want and make something happen so it's somewhat unfair because I do think Herbert deserves some of the blame you don't a 27 point lead is never on one unit or one player or one side of the ball but in this case it is hard to look at it and say if Justin Herbert was better they would win the game I think you really have to look at the defense the play calling and like you mentioned overall just getting more explosive Playmakers for Herbert you think um mysterious voice you think you think uh Mike Williams not playing was uh huge was a side of him not being aggressive enough no I mean he's like he like broke part of this video Staley Staley oh yeah the game plan yes yes yes yes I think that definitely goes into it because they don't have anybody that can beat the defense or they trust with 50 50 balls it's so tall and though said it and you know you you like to defend Matt Ryan a lot but it's so tough to lose to blow a 20 plus point lead and then not be the quarterback's fault you know obviously I don't think Justin Herbert gets all the blame I think it starts from the coach then it goes down to Herbert then it goes down to everybody else running back wide receiver defense because the defense as Stout as they was in the first half you got to stay at a consistent route you got to be the same but I think offensively you know it starts with the quarterback and then dishes out to everybody else but Herbert wasn't bad you know he put his team in positions to score he put his team in positions to win Brandon like it's it's tough because in this game even in the second half like when the second half started I think for the most part everybody felt in the third quarter a storm is brewing like they're going to come back this game is not over you know you saw Jacksonville they at home they starting to get that energy back and it was crazy it was so tough for the charger it was so tough for Justin Herbert too because he doesn't have a guy on the outside he's throwing the Jared over but as good as he is he isn't that guy that's going to help you win a playoff game like he's in a game record he doesn't he's not one of them top receivers like digs chase you know so he doesn't have that so that that sucks but I think that the play calling wasn't good from first half to second half the adjustments weren't made they weren't aggressive enough if you up 20 points you should continue to be more aggressive you should continue to be on Attack Mode because like like something like this could happen you can lose the lead so for the Chargers you know it's just where do they go for here you said they Draft receivers but what do you do with Keenan Allen what do you do when Mike Williams you just paid him you know it's tough Austin Eckler maybe you can get another guy who's a more more rushing of more Russian deep running back yeah you get you get I can learn to pass catch you get a guy who can run the ball more consistent a little bit better a power back somebody who can compliment you just need to keep is hilarious that with Keenan Allen and Mike Williams and Eckler you still think the offense needs a little bit more you know with those three guys because they're such big names but the charges is offensively even though they was up 27-7 for me personally I still didn't think they had the game in the back because they had no way to create continue to be aggressive like even in the bills of Miami game they was causing hella turnovers they was but bills were aggressive from start to finish aggressive aggressive still throwing up they were they had a first intend through a 50-yard ball a little too aggressive too yeah 100 they do that show but that's what you want in the playoffs because at any moment you know you can make them play you could have something big so you got to continue to be aggressive and charges weren't that I wanted the charger sorry Drew I wanted the Chargers this pass draft to trade up for Jameson Williams that was something I was talking about during our pre-draft process they ended up drafting Zion Johnson he's been solid for them and obviously they've needed offensive line they know they've gotten better over the years but it always felt even coming into the season you have Keenan you have Mike Williams but again like we're saying Keenan is getting up there in age he got banged up this year Mike Williams again someone who can stay on the field and Austin Eckler who you know is definitely you know a top 10 back but even still you need someone that could take the top off the defense someone who Mike Williams is even more like he's a deep threat but he's like a jump ball deep throat you know what I mean like he's not gonna burn somebody down the field like you would I don't want to you know not everyone has Jamison Williams type speed but when you have the opportunity to have this this talented quarterback you do whatever it takes to get special players around him and as good as Zion Johnson might be in the future and who knows maybe he turns into an All-Pro guard or he could play tackle to whatever if you could get a guy like Jameson Williams who just straight up take the top off a defense we've seen very few spurts of it this season when he's been on the field he has game changing type speed whenever you have the chance to get someone that can just completely change the Outlook of your offense you should be aggressive go up and do it the Chargers didn't do it and now they're going to be looking for it in this draft in this free agency a thing that gets overlooked I think is in that first half uh you mentioned how the Chargers you know want to be a little bit more aggressive they had a luxury of a bunch of turnovers right in the red zone They had two drives where they kicked field goals less than 25 yards and the one that really sticks out to me the most is that SEC that last Drive actually right before the half that jaguars got the ball ended up scoring a touchdown Herbert Miss Keenan Allen wide open just kind of let it go a little bit too high you know in hindsight and I look at those two moments and think man that throw to Keenan specifically that could have put a little bit more Out Of Reach and not being able to to get those into the end zone in hindsight of course ended up costing them I'm sorry I thought I think I said the Giants went from front on Fourth I'm thinking of Dallas going for it on Fourth where Dak runs it in that's one thing I was talking about ultimately explosive plays is what wins and jaguars had more of it than Chargers a reason why I kind of got a a bad feeling about the Jaguars coming back is because the Charter's office was not able to do much all game facts they scored off the turnovers I think it was 20 plus points off off Jaguar turnovers like no fluidity in terms of their personal offensive drives when they start in in position that isn't favorable they weren't able to get much going right man so I I think you know they got up to a great lead but they couldn't maintain it because offensively they've been horrible all game and that's why Lombardi and Shane did those were the first steps they got to bring in a good OC I know Mike leflore is very highly coveted around the league he's a potential candidate to go to the charge I think Michael four is solid that's a clear fancy or not no but because he's going to succeed with Herbert but I'm saying what I'm saying uh leflore are you in on that uh Michael for going to Chargers yeah yeah I would like that okay there was rumors with him going to uh LA to the Rams yep other LS yeah the charges were banking on Trevor Lawrence to continue to be bad and when Trevor Lawrence was the complete opposite of that he woke up they were cooked and Staley changed up his defense too and in the first half he ran a lot of cover three and in the second half he ran cover four quarters which is a normal defense when you're up and you're trying to maintain a lead but Doug Peters person was just scheming up against that and they were getting a lot of explosives those pretty crazy Doug Peterson I thought there's a lot of credit for that comeback I know that we talk about the charge collapse and stuff but Doug Peterson in the execution of the church the Jaguars I mean that was just special what they were doing and shout out to that T formation out of the 1950s where he hands it to ET and everyone's thinking it's QB sneak hands it to etn runs it right around and picks up a huge game story that was beautiful the Minnesota Vikings I shocked the world today lost to the New York Giants you're gonna pick the Giants over the Eagles [ __ ] no the Vikings 13-4 season 11-0 in one score games before this game this was their first loss by one score and the question is what's next for the Vikings now this is tough because when this topic was on the list I went on a deep dive of what's the what's their possibilities the Vikings are going to seriously regress and what makes me a bit more confident that is that the GM awoso Mensa said before the season at this year was going to be a competitive rebuild for the Vikings this year yes this this season that they won 13 games yes it was a competitive rebuild interesting hilarious and the reason for that is because you look at the free agents the Vikings free agents Patrick Peterson Garrett Bradbury Dalvin Tomlinson Duke Shelley who they should absolutely sign back he's been the he's had the third best coverage grade of all cornerbacks this year in a sizable sample size Duke Shelley's been one of their lone bright spots on defense Alexander Mattis is a free agent they have negative 13 million dollars in cap space Kirk cousin is still under contract these are all players they can cut and save money against the cap theolin for 6 million it makes sense stealing is not who he once was he's not a number two anymore he might be a low end number three he just really lacks explosiveness and it's really a shame because he used to be a great receiver but he's not that anymore zadarius Smith 13 million who you know he's a great pass rusher but that's a cab casualty he will most definitely get cut really yeah he was good for them I mean I'd be surprised if he's gone honestly 13 million friends you're right you're right yeah you're right it's a lot Eric Kendricks nine and a half million who he had a down year he doesn't really fit this scheme Harrison Smith had 7 million who he's getting older yeah he's getting older yeah and if they don't cut him they're gonna have to pay him 19 million which is a lot for a safety who is not an elite safety anymore jetters in the Vikings just started um contract negotiations Galvin cook 8 million Jordan Hicks 5 million to CJ ham who's a fullback that doesn't get used 3 million they can free up to 50 51 million dollars in cap space by making these moves and then have about 38 million to work with in the off season I don't think that you know you're losing all these players who are good it's going to be hard to replace them and their picks this year they only have four first round picks but they have two compensatory six round picks and for me I feel like this is probably Kirk Cousins last season in Minnesota I agree I think the Vikings will go into a rebuild and they won't be a team that's going to be competing for a division division title I think that Adolfo Mensa realizes that the Vikings have been kind of this team teetering in the middle they're never horrible they're never like exceptionally great outside a couple Seasons but just stare you know they're a cool team but nobody ever thinks they're going to the Super Bowl they're kind of like the Atlanta Hawks of the 2015s and stuff in the NBA if I were to compare it to a team so they need a true Superstar quarterback and the only way they're going to get that is by rebuilding and drafting one and building this roster with a rookie quarterback and I think that he has some eye for talent so I think they'll be able to draft well they'll have money but I think the Vikings are getting ready to go into a full rebuild you make a lot of sense no doubt about it when you list all those contracts and the amount of money that they could save uh the one that really stuck out to me obviously because I love Dalvin cook do you think they cut him and sign Alexander Madison to a friendly yeah that's not a bad idea honestly I would be hard I would be hurt because I love Dalvin I thought there's some dead money in Delvin if they cut him apparently they would save a million yeah there is dead money but they would save that or save more than got it um so the reason why I would be opposed to that is because you see what your flaw was this season it was glaring your defense was horrendous I feel like if I'm the Vikings I realize what I have to address that was the only flow no doubt what about if jealous is taking out the game they still had success the defense really let up what TJ Hawkinson had success it limits their explosive plays KJ got into the end zone Irv Smith got into it but that was like if you looked I know the playoff game like is that Personnel or do you think that's coaching in your opinion well have you looked at every every time they played a team that every time they played a playoff team this year or every time a team took jetters out of the game they were really consistent I don't listen I'm not going to disagree with you there and TJ just step up in this game specifically yeah there was offensive Personnel that definitely did Step Up When judges wasn't there but I I'll say this I mean yes you could add Personnel to the offense of course you'll never I'm sure quarterback never would turn down that luxury but [ __ ] I'm looking at O'Connell what how you I was told that you were gonna come in and play Jettas like a Cooper Cup right have we seen that that change is it just jet is being offensively dominant and that's why jet has put up the numbers that he did or was it because O'Connell came in here and really changed everything up they try they just double him but it was Cooper Cub not getting doubled you know I wouldn't think I had Odell but Odell went down and even still Cooper cup had what six catches on the last Drive of the game against the Bengals it's like there are ways that you can draw open your guy if you are that brilliant of an offensive mind and when Jedis is as good as he is it should not be as difficult as shown this season when a team did bracket them and that's a credit to the defense as well I can't I can't lack respect for them in their their game plan for Jettas but for me there's one clear resolution fix the defense you often showed that it could stick around it could put up points now give it the luxury of not having to go out there and have to average 20 25 plus points a game it's really unfair to a guy who I've been critical of Kirk Cousins who shut me up this past weekend against the Giants no doubt and I've given him his credit when we did our live reaction if you haven't seen that go check that out we dropped three live reactions this weekend but I had to give Kirk his credit because if he wins this game I'm talking about him the way that I spoke about about um excuse me Daniel Jones they both played perfect game except one ended up winning the game which is why I hold Daniel to a little bit higher regard and that's kind of unfair to Kirk because Kirk had a amazing game himself the defense is just terrible you have a game plan for the Vikings fix it Kirk Cousins did his job Jettas did his job Hawkinson that was a great move that you guys made mid-season to acquire him to add some offense to the team he did his job how about you go do yours and fix this defense it cannot be bottom 30 in terms of passing excuse me it can't be a uh the 30-second worst past uh past defense in the league yet again it can't be go and get Personnel to fix that I I just see this as the defense is bad your offense is good you can fix that by bringing in good Personnel it really could be that simple first off shout out my guy Jude who's tuned into the stream right now shout out bro shout out to our guy Jude I'm doing good man this Vikings topic is interesting because I have a couple Vikings friends I shot my guy KBR um and they were pissed off as I would be just as well you know you have this crazy good season we talked about it last week 11-0 in one score games it did feel inevitable that at some point it would end right I did predict the Giants to win it would end this week um I don't think you go on this crazy blow it up change everything trade Kirk do all of this stuff I think there is probably one more year with this core you have in you and coming from a Jets fan a fan who has not seen the playoffs in 2010 I understand you want to think Super Bowl or bust but there is something being competitive there's something in making the playoffs I you know went on this crazy tirade rant going we're not gonna go on five because I thought my team was gonna make the players for the first time that's what 12 years of no playoffs does to you makes you act like a lunatic um so I I don't think you trade Kirk Cousins first of all or even cut him there's 50 million dead money if you cut him 20 and dead million if you trade him and and even if you do what other player out there you're going to get from Kirk that's going to be an upgrade realistically you're not going to be in the Lamar Jackson sweepstakes with your current cap situation I don't think you're going to be in the Sweepstake for Brady and unless Aaron Rodgers makes a Brett Favre of type move I don't think that's going to be in the cards either and regardless he would have to get traded because he's not a free agent and this Vikings team has a ceiling Kirk Cousins has a ceiling I think we all understand that um to an extent and I think there's a few issues with this team the first of all it's old Harrison Smith is 33 Pat Pete's 32 thielen's 32 Kirk is 34 Kendricks Hicks zadarius Smith all 30. these were a lot of guys you mentioned possibly being cap casualties so you could say in a sense that maybe you get some of these older guys out you bring in some new guys and to their credit or I guess to their unfortunate um you know this season Lewis seen their first round pick Andrew Booth their second round pick both based in play the whole year neither of these guys were active for this playoff game but most of them I think they combine play like three or four games this whole season this was a trade down situation right they traded down from like 11 to 32 with Detroit last year it was ridiculous it's always really weird and then ended up drafting Lewis scene who's a safety but didn't play at all um I think part of this blame though has to go on Kevin O'Connell um because he came in and he was this offensive Mastermind and they look like Drew said he's gonna come in and and you know move jetters around he's gonna be Cooper cup and all of this and I get that to an extent but they were third they were third fewest in rushing yards in rushing attempts per game you have Dalvin cook Dalvin cook at the minimum is a top eight running back in this league even unlimited carries he had over 1100 yards this season and you have Kirk Cousins who is a good quarterback not an elite quarterback if this doesn't scream balanced offense I don't know what does the only two teams that ran the ball less than them were the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Los Angeles Chargers those were the only two teams that ran the ball less than the Minnesota Vikings this year and even still you can look at it we have Tom Brady and Justin Herbert well I think you should be more balanced I could at least get behind that because you have Elite level quarterbacks the Vikings not so much and I think it's a mix of next year being more balanced getting healthier on the defensive side of the ball and probably bringing in some more youth I think that especially having Lewis scene and Andrew Booth those were two guys they were counted on being starters a start in safety and a starting quarterback I know Duke Shelley had a really good season but you saw Pat Pete he he's not the same like he once was we know that he's not the elite level quarterback that cornerback that he was I think with both of those guys in there you still have a division that's it's really up for grab still right I know we're expecting Detroit to be better I think right now they're probably the favorites to win the NFC North next year Chicago has a ton of cap space the number one overall pick I think they're gonna get better but even still the Green Bay Packers win 8-9 this year we don't know what's going to happen with Roger so it's not like you blow this up and go into tank mode Because unless you really go in complete tank you're still gonna win too many games to win really have a high draft pick next year the division is just simply not good enough for you to be the last place division team because no matter how high you are on the Bears I don't think they're going to make enough moves to get into that even playoff style maybe they get to six seven wins but I still think the Vikings will have the same if not more wins than the Bears next season and another interesting that I found was their offensive line it graded out individually as one of the best units in the league Brian O'Neill Christian darasa Ezra Cleveland and Garrett Bradbury all top 11 in their respective positions on PFF but Kirk Cousins was I think the third most sacked quarterback in the league most of them played together children's problems so I don't know if it's is this Kirk Cousins holding on the ball too long that's kind of like you said drew the first stop that came to my mind you have Jettas but you really don't have another guy outside of Hawkinson who they got halfway through the season who can really beat a guy one-on-one and I'm feeling like you mentioned Joelle is not the same type of wide receiver too he has been in years past so I think there's some you know thought to bring another wide receiver who could compliment Justin Jefferson but overall I don't think you go completely drastic and change everything about this team I think number one though has to be be more balanced on offense and at least respect the Run game respect Alvin Coke who's won the best running backs in the league hope the defense stays healthy get a bit younger next year running back and they could still be in contention to win this division so the Vikings Russian EPA on offense this season was ranked 29th that would cook had a good year their success rate was 38 percent yeah almost you know the league average and Dalvin still had other Malone yeah average would be 40 around 40 below there they don't they didn't run the ball their third fewest attempts per game in the league average is 41 my bet what were that 41 they're at 38 which ranks 28th I believe it was [ __ ] good Calvin was super efficient I still feel like he still had the same explosiveness I felt like any time he could rub rip off a seven yard play they did say on the broadcast that he did have the highest percentage of negative plays from a running back too that probably goes into the EPA where he could rip off those big runs but this season he's had a lot of times where he's had negative but that has a lot to do with the offensive line I'm looking at his dvoa he ranked 36 out of who's this down 42 running backs yeah it was a bottom 10 running back five in his yard that would look still pretty good his yards for Carrie was was solid he had eight touchdowns I mean of course when you're thinking of the the Vikings offense you think of jet that's what you're gonna do and that's the problem I agree you got to bring in some youth man oh like Dalvin is a bad pass catching back either he is very solid in that regard also I mean I think for the most part maybe not the most part but I think your running back is really predicated on your offensive line and I think for a receiver you know when you take him out like TJ Hawkins was a great move that they got halfway through the season because you know jet is locked up he he opens up the floor he could beat one-on-one uh he's another guy but I think you need another receiver you know I think you need to get in some youth because the feeling is old Osborne is like he's a whatever type of thing he's in offensively for Kirk Cousins like you mentioned there is a ceiling so you do need a little bit more help with him because he's not the elite elite that can mitigate certain things but defensively they're just not consistent I mean the corners are made you know the just as a whole this defense can't get together and they're always hurt and they're getting old and this is a team that Detroit's coming I mean they we talk about man we talk about this division is wide open man Detroit is on the way and you know if Green Bay still keeps Aaron Rodgers there's still going to be a eight to nine win team like this is still going to be a team that wins eight or nine games and still competitive look at Chicago they have over 120 million dollars of cap space how many games did they lose by one point this year too right a few of them they lost I think the Bears can take a Jets type A Lot the Bears lost a lot of games because their defense couldn't stop Aiden they couldn't stop me yeah so realistically you bringing some more guys on the defensive end offensively you continue to get better that's another team that can potentially win some games but uh I don't know the quarterback hurray that you know in college so I don't know who would you I know Caleb Williams is one guy extra's class is definitely better but yeah so why don't they why don't they buy it this year yeah trade everybody you cut everybody they can't move off cousins and 50 million Dead come on still be some investigating if they go from 13 wins to the number one pick overall well look how much 11 games by one score yeah they can lose weight again they'll come down from 13 but I don't think they go from 13 to number one I think they go from 13 to seven yeah yeah I think like I think they could level out and be 500 in one possession games yeah I mean of course they have to draft well and stuff but you know the Bears how many games have a top draft pick who cares you know if you think Justin Fields can take another leap in his game and the Jets also just had a historic draft I mean you never know you know I don't know you didn't have the Lions won we had no quarterback though the lines went from the second pick overall to being [ __ ] uh break their way into the playoffs and I think the Lions will uh and they have a hundred division 20 I think that they should be the favorite right oh the lines the lines I thought you said the Bears I think the Kevin O'Connell stuff I think that's a bit of no reaction just because you know before the offseason we were sitting at this table and we said you know Jed is going to be off its blur of the year and he was yeah and he was and that again is that a testament to Jet no I think that's Kevin O'Connell let's be honest jet is doing this with [ __ ] Adam case that's what I'm saying yeah but he doesn't want to do jealous things but you can still give credits I love Kevin O'Connell as a head coach I really do Kirk Cousins has some obvious limitations to him and he doesn't handle pressure well which is why the offensive line grades out great and Kirk and still getting pressure because he you know that's one of his flaws of course I'm not that mobile anymore yeah he needs ideal situations to go on a deep playoff front for sure but Kevin O'Connell I thought adjusted well they got that they went out and traded for TJ Hawkinson which that was the solution to teams double teaming Jettas you know the Vikings say what you want about them losing but it wasn't because the offense was inept I mean they were moving online I agree you know TJ Hawkinson was one of the main recipients of um Jefferson getting bracket itself sure I think O'Connell had a great game plan to to go from jetta's being your focal point to now when Jenna gets taken out uh we still have something to move the ball don't worry you know they just can't run the ball they can't but I think Kevin Khan has been good and you move off from Kirk Cousins get an actual Superstar quarterback hopefully Superstar quarterbacks just aren't available yeah I know but O'Connell I think is a great Coach and he's Superstar seven yeah I think Ed Donato I I don't think they fired him yet so you want the you want the Ravens and the Vikings to be partners actually no you know because we're gonna make our case for Lamar Jackson um right here on this very next segment let's do it I was gonna go on a little bit of a Kirk Cousins rant but you know I'm not really feeling it I thought he was clutch he actually I don't know we had a fourth quarter drive to win the game four fourth and eighth not ideal but you saw that play over again Dexter Lawrence was in his face he was he had to let go of the ball yeah he was listen I'm not gonna lie the I wouldn't have thought the play before that he he said in the pressure too that the play he actually wants back was the third down to KJ Osborne he put it a little bit inside of him yeah and it should have been on the outside um we got to grow up man that was that was a nuts but honestly the the fourth downplay everyone's giving him a ton of scrutiny but if he put the ball in front of Hawkinson and let him run after the catch there's a decent chance he gets the first down it was just bad ball placement Hawkins had to go back to it and he said it too yeah there were plays all year long where he made a pass like that and you know a guy broke a tackle so yeah it was just it was just bad ball placement because Hawkinson couldn't run with it so he was screwed so uh I've been waiting on this I think the the graphic changed to make her case for Lamar Jackson and I've been waiting on this because I have a team that I think nobody sees coming I do I gave Riv a little bit of a sneak peek last night gave him a little bit of a sneak peek and told him what it was I want to hear it and it wasn't little I'll tell you that make your case for Lamar Jackson so the team I'm making my case for Lamar Jackson a go-to is the Detroit Lions interesting because for Baltimore this is my pitch to Baltimore we have two first round picks in this draft we can trade to you the sixth pick from the golf trade and we have our own 18th overall pick we have two second rounders as well in this very draft you can have one of them and guess what we'll throw in a first next year and we have a quarterback that's playing well and Jared Goff that we could throw him into the deal and he only has 15 million guaranteed left on his contract so you're not tied to him long term and you know with the draft with the picks with Jared Goff you can rebuild this team and still be competitive and for Lamar better rush offens in the league unfortunately cop pitch did go out but that did not stop how great and and dominant there was their Rush offense was dominant to a degree of course they were a limited team this year as their defense is not that great but that being said Lamar you come to the Falcons of course the Falcons have the second most cap you can get however much money you want from them they needed him to be a better a blocker for them because their offensive line was not all too great but I will say this Atlanta really I feel like that is the perfect fit for him in terms of offense and this I think the Jets and Carolina are both interesting because the Jeff Solomon offensive coordinator Caroline doesn't have a coach right now so the jets are in a situation where Caroline is different because they need a whole coaching staff the Jets are different because they just need an offensive coordinator and when you're in this position you're looking well probably hire an offensive coordinator first is my guess so obviously when Jets were having these interviews talking to these different candidates they're saying they really need someone who could do both they need someone who could work an offense with Derek Carr they need someone who could work on offense with Lamar Jackson and Derek Carr's situation is unique too because his situation has to be resolved by the Super Bowl and it seems like Lamar's situation probably wouldn't be resolved till you know around frequency which is March and who knows how long ago because if he doesn't sign with the tag it could last for months so it's a very weird situation for these teams that are maybe looking at Derek Carr and Lamar Jackson like the Jets are because if you don't go and trade for Derek Carr you're receiver ones I mean you have Addison jsn Quinton Johnson the list goes on there's a bunch of guys that could really be RB uh excuse me wide receiver one same thing with running back you have Bijan who is the solidified rb1 it's a deep class with guys like Sean Tucker uh and a bunch of other guys I want to say is his name is and tank Bixby a lot of guys that could really be you know big weapons on the office inside the bowl and then defensively you have an interesting top of the class where it's going to be Jalen Carter and Will Anderson Jalen Carter is more the interior defensive lineman of the show we're gonna go on and talk about the Jaguars and Chiefs give our prediction for that division around matchup the Chiefs beat the Jacks in their first match up 27-17 but we know the Jags are riding hot they're coming off a story come back Trevor Lawrence was legendary in the second half and in this matchup there's going to be some light snow that's good this is the forecast yeah there's gonna be some light snow in this and for me I look at this game and I'm sorry before you give your take John brought it up Trevor has not lost a Saturday game in his career he has knots that's nice to that is college football uh for me I this first matchup was the score was much further away than the the game it felt like the game was much further away than the score May dictate 27-17 to be honest I felt like the the Chiefs dominated this game from the start they had nine more first downs two punts compared to six and out gained them by 150 plus yards the Chiefs couldn't be stopped offensively all game I do think the Jags pose a little bit of a tough matchup because Mahomes has been the fourth least Blitz quarterback at 22 percent of his dropbacks this season and the real question is can the Jags get consistent pressure in their first matchup the Jags pressure rate on KC was 32 percent without blitzing which was the fifth best against the Chiefs this year the the Jags ranked fifth in pressure without blitzing overall so if they can get home without blitzing you allocate more Defenders into guarding the pass game and limiting explosives then they have a little bit of an advantage but the Jaguars allow the most yards per reception and receiving yards to tight ends overall and Trevor Lawrence he has to start fast in order for this thing to have a chance well said because the chief secondary is 27th in passer rating Spagnola is limited with his Blitz packages because you can't leave these corners on islands with receivers they're terrible and that's why Spagnola really hasn't been able to really get into his bag this year because when he does Blitz quarterbacks have the sixth best passer rating against them and you don't want to do that consistently and Lawrence is one of the best quarterbacks against the blitz this year the Chief Special Teams is also kind of worrying but they've been better as of recently but just a theme for the entire year bucker has been on and off they allow Big Time returns both in the punt game and the kick game their punter talented has been all pro this year though sure but the Chiefs really use them the advantage they got pastoral homes Chris Jones and his matchup versus Luke Fortner probably Chris Jones is one of the best defenders in the NFL and he deserves a lot of recognition I know that when we talk about the Chiefs his name Harley comes up because Mahomes Kelsey those are like the stars but Chris Jones is kind of to me like the unsung hero that he's always making a big time playing still in a game and he's an All-Pro player and one of the best players in his position definitely and on passing Downs the Chiefs are amazing I mean they were the best offense this year and their first in DV away on third and fourth down the Jaguars defense ranks 31st on third and fourth Downs the Chiefs are seven and one at home they're gonna win this game they're gonna win this game and I have them winning and I also have a boom fantasy prop here we go as well for this game I have Trevor Lawrence over one and a half passing touchdowns in this game okay I think he'll get two passing touchdowns but yeah I I think the Chiefs will win this game it'll be kind of comfortable you know there's gonna I think they'll be in a there'll be a moment where you're like oh you think this game is getting close and she's kind of pull away I like the I like the Chiefs here I think this game is going to be similar to the one that we saw with the Chargers not in terms of script of course and that was something that we should have talked about in our you may have missed it also with Trevor Lawrence getting fined for saying that you kind of write a better script he did he said that he got fined uh and I saw Pat McAfee actually having a conversation about it and why that's such a big deal because people believe that with how bad of a loss gamblers have had this year and how sports betting has become legal and a plethora of States now that people feel like the league is becoming more scripted in terms to to get money into these Sports books hands because these Sports books are now huge sponsors of the NFL as well so that there's some discussion there but Pat McAfee said it best I mean how can I mean a lot would have to go into it for for that to have some some truth and validity uh but I think that this can be a very high scoring game I mean you spoke to it too the the Chiefs defense is not good specifically they're secondary and the charger strength was their secondary in the second half Trevor Lawrence came up and absolutely torched them where you spoke about it too you had Ingram uh Christian Kirk and Zay Jones have all over 70 receiving yards I think there's going to be similar where I believe that this offense is going to be very potent similarly with the Chiefs I think the Chiefs as long as you have Patrick homes you will score points he will be in position to to have his team where I believe the Chiefs should win this game um but I don't think it's going to be a a complete blowout where Jacksonville doesn't look like they belong I think because of how bad the Chiefs defense is the Jaguars will be in this game to a point where fans might start to Teeter me included is it possible can the Jags actually beat them but I think that Mahomes is good enough should be good enough to beat this Jaguars team it's a fun matchup you got Doug Peterson obviously him and Andy Reid coach together Doug under Andy Reid you have a couple years from now we could be talking about Trevor Lawrence and Patrick Mahomes as the two best quarterbacks in football you know this is just a preview and right now this Jack's team they're just not ready they're not ready for this moment to go into Kansas City to win this game that doesn't mean they're not gonna be competitive that doesn't mean that Trevor Lawrence can have a good game um but I just have a feeling that you're gonna have to be damn near perfect to win this game I think it's gonna be very similar to the first half of the Seattle 49ers game of last uh last week where Seattle was perfect that first half they had a two-point lead going into halftime this very small first slip up Geno Smith fumbling the ball it just caused an effect that everything went down Hill after that and the 49ers go on and it looks like a blowout even though the first half really wasn't a blowout it sounds cliche and Coach speak but if the Jaguars want a shot they have to take care of the ball if Trevor Lawrence is going to have four interceptions this game's gonna get ugly quick you're now playing against Chargers you're playing the Chiefs if you go down 27-0 this game's gonna end [ __ ] 45 to 13. it's it's not gonna be this comeback the chiefs with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes they've been here a thousand times they know what they're doing and like you guys mentioned you could score on them to end the season the Chiefs allowed 27 to the Chargers 27 to the Bengals the Broncos they played them twice Broncos team that was able to score All Season the worst offense in football scored 28 points then 24 points and the Texans also scored 24 points on them this Jaguars offense we know how great it's been over this last month this season really since week nine as we mentioned Trevor Lawrence being arguably the best quarterback in football but this is the Chiefs team number one in scoring offense number one in passing offense number two in red zone offense number two in Red Zone uh excuse me number two on offense on third down everything just seems easy for them man I mean there there was some Statler in the year where they were converting like over 50 of their third and tens or their third and Longs where it looks like for a lot of teams it's 32 and 33 that's what Chiefs look like on Third and ten they're a dominant Union offensively I understand the defense isn't great but I don't think that's going to be exposed too much this game against the Jaguars just very young team a team that doesn't have a ton of experience in the playoffs yet Doug Peterson has obviously won a Super Bowl he has experience but overall just feels like it's a year or two too early for the Jaguars to go into Kansas City to have this type of upset let me ask you real quick did you say that Trevor Lawrence is arguably the best quarterback in football I said since week nine he was arguing statistically you're not wrong I don't disagree fair enough what a story right you know what uh what a what an amazing first game to come back uh let's talk about the first game for a little bit score was 27-17 but the Jaguars didn't um capitalize on a lot they missed two field goals you know they um had a touchdown that was forced back because of a pencil penalty and Doug Peterson said it they didn't execute well and since then they've been one of the hottest teams in the NFL no even in a Sunday game which or Saturday game whatever it was when they was home they didn't execute a lot of things you know second half was amazing but in the first half they came out flat it wasn't aggressive enough they came out a little bit timid scared you know it's understandable for your first playoff game but it's all about executing against the Chiefs you have to be as Flawless as you can be to execute execute against Andy reading them boys offensively you know that the Mahomes gonna score you know they're gonna put out points it's about defensively can you make the time he stops they had five sacks in that game I think Chris Jones is gonna call serious havoc in this game you know he's been a game changer all year he's been amazing and that's somebody you have to you have to watch you have to the uh had 100 yards last game so look for Chris Jones to possibly wreck that running game and force Trevor Lawrence to be more the more of a pass of that game all game pretty much but with this with this offense you know for the Jaguars there isn't nobody outside of Kelsey that really scares you and you have to look at that and you know that's that's some okay they don't have Tyreek Hill anymore they don't have a big time receiver but they have my homes and that's something scary I I do have Kansas City winning comfortably because it's just it's just so hard I want to pick the Jaguars but it's so hard to pick against the Chiefs because they're so great offensively and they've been here before and this is an experienced team a team that's been to the Super Bowl twice that's been to the AFC Championship what three four times in the world four years yeah so they've been the Dom they've been the quote-unquote the Brady and the Patriots okay for a while so this is a team that knows how knows how to get it done they rarely lose home playoff games in the playoff they know how to get it done they know how to do it so I got the Chiefs listen I'm praying they lose oh oh I know I think figured oh man if Trevor beats him the only the only way I think it really happens if the Chiefs come out slow they're overlooking them they're looking at the Bengals bills match up and saying who could we play that really feels like the only it feels mental for the Chiefs I don't want to be disrespectful to Jacksonville obviously they're a good team had won the Best Comebacks we've ever seen but we're talking about a Chiefs team that is really on a run to become a dynasty oh and I also Dynasty it's not no forgot boom yes that's your favorite because because I do believe your pick was my pick also I do believe not true you know after a lot of reaction Dale was like you know I'd rather face the Giants and the Cowboys Cowboys got Dak he spoke facts Cowboys got an elite defense Cowboys got an elite offense they got elite players yeah but they have an elite team and coaching I like Michael Carthage not bad he's a good coach table clears but he doesn't have the talent the Giants are three five and one in the last nine games that's not a red hot team to me yeah that's a team that to me it's kind of kind of chilly kind of maybe they've caught some breaks because they beat the Vikings in the wild card they beat the Colts that's a break and they beat the commanders how about all the injuries they face this you know I think these the three wins in their last nine games have been the Vikings Colts commanders that's not something that tells me this team is red hot and ready to go through the NFC Vikings windows the Eagles are the most complete team in football they have been all season long their offensive line is so we're pro bowlers Aziz George and Laurie's a bit banged up they have somebody who can contain um Dexter Lawrence and Jason Kelsey All Pro Center and run defense it's a bit vulnerable but when Jordan Davis plays that's a different story and he's healthy actually I don't think the Giants I don't think the Giants will be able to get home consistently just rushing for they will have to Blitz and Hertz hasn't been amazing against the blitz this season but they're going to leave their corners on an island against Great receivers the Eagles can also control the clock by running the ball I got the Eagles in this game and my player prop for Jalen hurts I got him over 246 and a half passing yards I think that's a low line for him I think he can Eclipse 300 passing yards fantastic and I expect them to be very crucial in this game against Philadelphia and I expect Daniel Jones to continue to have success it's going to be an amazing game no doubt but I'm going with the the live reaction that the Ravens and Bengals when they played week 18 the you know commentaries for making a point that when they went back and watched the film everything was very vanilla they participant as of yesterday I think that's a big deal that he is this entire week going to be full in practice I think if he was leading up and he was limited limited limited and then maybe that Friday he was full we could have a bit more of a discussion but the fact that he was full on Tuesday and should be full the entire week gives me more confidence that he is pretty close to 100 from his shoulder injury but you look at this Eagles team they're more talented outside of running back I really don't look at a single position and say the Giants have the case here maybe at edge with Kayvon because I know sweat's been banged up um but even still I mean you look at just units the Giants excuse me the Eagles have everything and even though the Giants might be the healthier team uh Lane Johnson is expected to play right tackle obviously that's going to be a huge difference maker um and then Jalen hurts as well expected to play as I mentioned being full participant really it seems small but it's a big deal when you're this early in the week it's hard for me to look at this game I picked the Giants last week I've given them their credit I think this is where it ends I do think as I mentioned the Giants have overachieved a ton this season Daniel Jones while he's definitely progressed his best games of the season has come against the Vikings twice and the Detroit Lions both teams that are you know bottom three defenses in football in terms of the whole season um the last time they Daniel Jones played the Eagles he had under 170 passing yards I want to say it was around 160 165. it's gonna be hard to win that way I think if you're gonna be throwing for less than 200 passing yards talking about the Eagles team who has the best offensive line in football Jalen hurts who was playing like an MVP candidate before he got hurt and it's going to be difficult for the Giants to get pressure with four like they did basically all game against the Vikings right we we mentioned that in the previous live reaction I think Joelle brought it up how wink barndale only Bliss I want to say a nine or brought more than four players on only nine of their defensive snaps I think they'll have to do that more often against this Eagles uh offensive line and then very similar to how the Giants Brack acted Justin Jefferson I think it's going to be hard you could bracket AJ brown but you don't have Adam thielen on the other side you have Devonta Smith he's going to be one on one he's going to be able to beat these Corners you have Dallas Goddard you got to worry about a running game you have a you have a legit running game obviously they're going to be they were one of the most Rush heavy offenses in the NFL you already know they're going to have won the most balanced attacks in this game being able to run with Miles with Jalen and then off of that the RPO stuff that we've seen them dominate this entire season this offense is dangerous Jalen hurts is dangerous this defense has been one of the best units in the league Sirianni and Dabo I do think Dave was a better Coach but I mean I just think there's a huge Talent Gap Talent Gap right now between the Eagles and Giants I think it's gonna be a close game like I said I think it's gonna be probably the second most competitive game of the week but I do have the Eagles winning or do I have a score here what do I have I have the Eagles winning 26 to 20. well the Giants cover the spread the Giants are seven and a half I have 26 20. so according to my score prediction I would be taking plus seven and a half I I'm I'm gonna take the ego spread I think they win by more than so it's the Eagles seven and a half yeah this is nuts um I don't understand this is and this is what boggles my mind um I understand where you're coming from you've been on the Giants Wave pretty much all year you've been very adamant about them but you you maybe you are flip aside he chose to you no you did but I don't understand how a game plan against the Minnesota Vikings makes you think that that's that that game plan oh that it doesn't no no it has to though because you if if they did like that game right there is the only reason why you're looking at them like all right you know the way they coach this game it can look a little close against the Eagles it's it's not going to be close bro I'm sorry it's not we are so far and away better team on every aside from running the ball because respect the sacred one he's a dog you got to give him his credit saquon is clearly better than mile centers will never take that away from aside from that we are better at pretty much every part of the feet like every part of football then the Giants like and their coach is great our coach is good too our quarterback is great their quarterback is great we have AJ Brown we have Devonta Smith we have Dallas like they don't have anybody any receiversary they're not going to be as open as you think against like we're not playing we have Pro Bowl play players at all every single position this game is not going to be close I know you can't beat a team it's hard to beat a team three times but realistically the second game they was going through the Reps they was wrestling players the the first game the first game the Giants was injured and we beat the brakes also absolutely and respective none of those players that they are bringing in are game changers to the point where they're changing the outcome they can change the score a little bit they can change the score they're not changing the outcome we're still winning that game comfortably so shout out to the Giants they had a great story with just so much a better team we're on a different level right now Jalen hurts being healthy is going to be huge he said he's good to go he's been on the money pretty much for the most part all year and this is a guy who you know I think he's learned his mistakes from last season and even then the Giants I don't think have the the Personnel or the scheme the Bucks had to stop us and we have a so much a better team than we had last year Devonta Smith has stepped up his game AJ Brown and I'm taking the Devonta Smith over because even if you bracket AJ Brown Devonta is going for a hundred yards he's gonna have a big big game and the Giants you know like I said I gave him respect for last week because a lot of people you know they were they weren't the favorite and they weren't even supposed to be here from the jump coming into this year they weren't even supposed to be that good so you got to give them respect but this is this is where the separator from Elite to good teams happens this is where the top-notch NFC teams face the low car teams this is a this is a matchup that's not favorable for the Giants so I got the Eagles comfortably over the spread score probably 31 20 31 21. 31-17 yeah we're we're gonna we're gonna we're gonna do what we should do we should beat them comfortably because we're just a better team than them at every Point outside of coaching you know they're coaching every coach we do that's what I'm saying like we don't like the Vikings yeah team games don't matter like in that situation in that situation where they needed to win in order to lock up the number one seed or you rush back Jalen hurts into playing a week after he clearly is is working through an injury and playing through an injury I mean I think that game definitely was essential for the eagles they needed to win that was essential but I don't think they were I think it was more Central for them pulling out any any tricks out the Hat in that game you know I think that I mean it showed if that's we've seen the Giants beat the Vikings because they were able to get one or more two stops on them but the defensively they were getting torched too it's just that they were torching the Vikings defense even worse Eagles offense is a different animal one thing I will say is they really didn't establish the Run AKA saquon Barkley all too much against the Vikings it was a lot of Daniel Jones early on they did saquan had that big touchdown run yeah yeah but he really only had five carries I think in the first half after that less than 15. yeah but after they dominated on the run then they started passing more and Daniel Jones no but Daniel Jones was the one who was running Russia so I say this in the sense of I think now it should be really more reliant on saquon I really think they need to win this I think if they're going to win this game is going to be through running down the clock getting it getting the ball in saquon's hands allowing him to manipulate the outcome of this game because like you mentioned yeah I agree I think if you get the Eagles offense out there they're gonna put up points but if you can limit them from getting on the field and keep the offense out there as long as you guys can I think that the Giants definitely could get this game in their ever and you said it you believe that this shouldn't even be a contest you believe the same thing all the pressure is on Philadelphia they are definitely on paper the better team they have been the better team the entire season there is no pressure on New York you get pressure because you're at uh 100 you're better I could not agree more and jalenhurst knows that Jalen hurts his demeanor all year he's the locked in more laser focused understanding that this is a true competition this could be the battle for the Super Bowl so ultimately I feel like we're gonna see the best version of Josh Allen that like some people at this table but I just quoted it just quoted it and said delete because I didn't feel as confident after that uh that Ravens Bengals game but after sitting on it for a bit looking at that Bengals Ravens game it's divisional game Anything could happen as Drew says against one of the best defenses in the league and the Bengals did come out on top and I'm sticking with my initial gut I'm Ryan with Cincinnati Bengals the bills are a great team led by a great quarterback but the playoffs are so tight man they're so competitive and the smallest mistakes can blow up in your face Josh Allen had a ton of mistakes against the Miami Dolphins and since they had Skylar Thompson that quarterback the Dolphins didn't come out on top if they had to him there's a decent chance a very good chance thank you the Dolphins end up winning that game with the amount of mistakes and Miss throws Josh Allen had he's good for one turnover per game 14 interceptions five fumbles lost the most in the NFL this season the Bengals are 8-3 this season when forcing more excuse me forcing one or more turnovers which is six best in the NFL and the bills in totality have turned the ball over 27 times this year which is third most in the NFL there's still a route a world where the bills run this game without a doubt these are two two of the best teams in football two of the most talented quarterbacks two really good coaches but I don't think either in that Elite category the bills will be able to get pressure on Borough right I think that goes without saying they'll be able to get pressure on this banged up offensive line I think there's a chance Alex Kappa comes back I'm not sure if one of you guys mentioned that there's a chance um and we know Josh Allen he could be Superman he can make just unbelievable plays with his legs with his arms Stefan Diggs big big play or big big game Gabe all of a sudden is a thing now because he's not really uh he's not really a good receiver and just has a couple good games in the playoffs so everyone everyone just gives him a nickname now um the Bengals though they're just the more button-up team they're the more disciplined team they're gonna have less mistakes they're not going to turn the ball over as much and I think they'll come out on top I have this 27-24 the Bengals winning it's going to be a dog fight they're gonna go back and forth but it's hard to look at this bill's team as one of the as one of the league leaders in turnovers not just Josh Allen but the other players as well like I mentioned top three in turnovers this year the fact that they won this many games and ended up being the two-seater is very impressive with that amount of turnovers that just goes to show how great Josh Allen is in the Deep fence at parts of the Season too like I mentioned in the playoffs in crunch time you can't make mistakes and right now the Bengals are the more abundup team you know this game gives me goosebumps this is this could be the game of the year you know there's two you know the best teams in the league you know two of the best teams in the AFC you know the English Chiefs we missed a glory one unfortunately ham would get better we missed a glory one that could have happened in the regular season you know that would have gave us a little bit of a better understanding of how this would have looked like but um I I got the bills I'ma stay consistent with my pick I them being eight and one at home and being undefeated at home in the playoffs or something you gotta look you gotta look at and give credit to and like you said them leading the league in turnovers and being on a eight-game heater is shout out to Drew for that eight game here is impressive you know I think the defense especially the defensive line Greg Greg Russo he's stepped up this year tremendously Ed Oliver I think they can get pressure on Joe burrow because they're not more because of their Elite per se but they're missing damn near half their offensive line so that's that's something important you got to look at because if the defensive line could cause Havoc for Gerald burrow that's a big mix even if the cornerbacks they're very thin at safety but if the cornerbacks which they seem to rotate guys out routinely and still be able to play good defense if they can just hold down the fort just for a little second while that defensive line gets pressure I mean this defense could cause some Havoc but offensively you're right but I think this game Josh Allen understands what his this means this is the most important game of his life and I I say that because I know he's went to the AFC Championship game and he lost in my homes I know he's lost some homes in the second round but I think this game because I think people hold him losing them homes not in bad fashion especially the one where he had he left 13 seconds on the clock but I think if he doesn't beat Joe burrow who is somebody who's been battling with him for sure that number two spot gets swept on the rug especially off the year he's coming off of which Joe Burrows statistically was better this year Josh Allen had a pretty much down year to his standards turn the ball over a lot this is something this is a big game from but this is a guy we know can turn into Superman in a second can make plays with his feet can make players with his arm I look at Stefan Diggs and his matchup he has to come to play I look at Gabe Davis he has to also win his matchups and come to play Dawson Knox a guy who can has one Elite every week he's been Josh Allen's safety blanket in the Red Zone that's somebody who needs to step up too and that defense though I think for the Bengals you know offensive line needs to be better but I think with the the injury just the injuries they have I think the bills will be able to luck up and be disciplined for just one game against the Bengals and I think they'll pull it out I have the score being 30 to 27. Prescott I just feel like he has to earn that contract that he got paid and I feel like he needs this moment he needs this moment sounds great and Dak Prescott you know I've been critical of him I was definitely but I'm one of the biggest Dak Prescott fans there are you not we used to argue about Dak Prescott and Carson years ago yes but I've always been a big time fan of Dak Prescott how many Cowboys know that Brock Purdy's defense is faced this season have been the dolphins not good have been the Bucks not good have been the Seahawks not good have been the Commander's good had been the Raiders not good have been Arizona all right and have been Seattle again not good this is the first Elite defense brought parties facing and all those little stuff he gets away with against other defense that are not that good he will not get away with in this game and the Cowboys are going to the NFC Championship Dak Prescott needs this and for my boom fantasy prop because I feel like this defense will show up Brock Purdy over 0.5 interceptions I think he has a game that we now realize okay now we see Kyle Shanahan can only do so much he can do a lot but at some point it comes to an end I got the Dallas Cowboys I'm riding with the Cowboys this game I got Dak Prescott you seem to have that going to the Super Bowl that was your prediction that is yeah because I think they face the Eagles and NC championship and if there's something that could beat the Eagles it's Cowboys it is not the Niners the knotters can't beat you no I'm actually like you think both teams are just both able to stop the Cowboys offense a little bit more than the Cowboys defense will be just be able to stop the uh off into the Niners you know as much as CD lamb has arrived he's been Elite this year Michael Gallup had a great game last week I just think of Shanahan and his game plan how defensively Stout the Niners are I trust him and I think being at home is huge you know that's a huge thing for I think they win by six point seven I got them 30 to 24. I don't think it's nothing crazy I think this game will be close throughout the whole uh series I don't think it's a Blog either so this game's difficult for me because I could acknowledge that the Cowboys have been playing really good football I can also acknowledge that I am definitely in support of Dak Prescott continuing this high level of play that he's shown regardless of a quarterback throwing interceptions at a high rate that shows to me that this quarterback is confident in himself that he believes that he can make any throw on the field and Dak Prescott has had the responsibility to uh now I'm curious what are you guys talking about over there oh you'll love it that's a comparison between um Pat certain Trayvon dick sauce Gardener and Jayla Ramsey what is it 2020 Baker Mayfield Trek people into thinking he was good when it was mostly the coach of the year and a tier one running back 2022 Daniel Jones is currently checking people taking he's good when he's back to my uh analysis on this game this one's tough for me again like I said Cowboys have a lot going for them right now I've been a strong advocate of Dak Prescott this whole season at least since he's returned from injury I think that there were issues are not DAC Reliant more so that you know this defense needed to kick up when when it did when it wasn't honestly and Dak was lifting them up uh in this situation though now the defense starting to figure it out against the Buccaneers they look they made the Buccaneers look like they didn't even deserve to be on that football field they absolutely came correct they played amazing executed a great game plan that's credit to Dan Quinn absolutely and Riv did acknowledge that as well when it came to the offense the Buccaneers defense was doing nothing to stop Dallas and and Dak yes he executed he hit amazing he he hit every throw that he needed to hit the game became very easy to him but at the same time we can acknowledge you know this defense definitely did not step up that defense being the Buccaneers now with the Niners why I feel like this game will be a lot closer than I think some might feel on this panel uh you'll hear that conversation in a couple minutes but have the Niners been tested this season defensively in your opinion for me I'm not going to say yes where the two times that they were tested Miami they came correct absolutely they had they had a very good performance they made Tua looked the worst that he'd looked up until that point but then the other time even then sorry to cut you off but even then it wasn't the 49ers were giving wide open stuff up okay but it was inaccurate okay so as I'm gonna continue the other time that they were tested was against the Kansas City Chiefs and they go up over 40 points to Kansas City and got blown out those are the only two times this whole season that they played a legit passing offense and one game they looked really solid and the other they looked horrendous now here with Dallas Dallas is coming in offensively rolling both passing and rushing but on the other hand again the Niners have been the best defense in the league basically all season and offensively they have been clicking on all cylinders whether it be Brock Purdy hidden the the intermediate passes whether it becmc being dominant on both sides of the of the ball excuse me both sides being receiving and rushing Divo Samuel now comes back that's a whole element that you have to take into account Brandon iuk has taken another level into this game George Kittle and Brock Purdy have an obvious connection right now this offense is clicking again we got to mention the offensive line and we have to mention Kyle Shanahan how brilliant he is as an offensive mind I think this game is going to be a absolute gem and I think that regardless of that that statement of the Niners haven't been tested I think the Niners will overcome this I think the Niners will win this game it's going to be extremely close but I think it's gonna be a 27-24 game Niners so you're right that the Buccaneers offered a little resistance to Dallas 24 of their players were perfectly perfectly covered on top of them was San Fran in Seattle correct and it was 25 correct I mean both no doubts absolutely both coming over for Cakewalk week very but we know that can do it at the highest level how do you figure because he can play great against just as you've just told them that you're waiting for that moment I'm waiting for Dak to win those moments he performs though another instance where the Niners that that defense so really here I'm sitting here and I feel like I'm convincing myself that Dallas is going to win this game but I feel like the way that the offense has been playing I believe in absolutely it has been amazing this season no I'm just saying they've been tested very few times but when they have been tested one time they got absolutely dominated the other time they definitely mean it's it's early in the season it's not like it's not like this Niners defense has these crazy slits they were great one hat like they were great the entire season so you play 17 games you're where well they couldn't beat the bucks but now they could beat the 49ers I find that hard I find that really hard this 49ers team has been one of the best defenses in football the best defense in football I should say Brock Purdy has been nothing less than Sensational for this offense Kyle Shanahan is 1A and 1B with Andy Reed maybe I'm overreacting a bit by saying it's not going to be a competitive game but I I think the Niners win this game comfortably I I do think it's going to be maybe like a 30 to 20 game down uh the 49ers win but I really don't see this as a game where Dallas is going to be fighting two with the nail with this team the 49ers who offensively you could talk Yak you could say Brock Purdy is a merch and you could say it's all Kyle Shanahan but at the end of the day it doesn't matter it doesn't matter if Brock party is not as good as Dak it doesn't matter that he might not be a franchise quarterback this is the best assortment of weapons in the NFL with arguably the best head coach in the NFL who would my who is my coach of the year with the best defense in the NFL so everything I look at it almost feels similar to the Cowboys and bucks but in Reverse everything is telling you take the 49ers they have more rest they're at home they have the better team but Dallas has the better quarterback they have Dak Prescott it really feels like the same situation we were sitting here just one week ago talking about the Bucks and cowboys I got the 49ers winning this game 30 to 20 like I mentioned maybe it's a little closer than that but I would be really surprised if the Niners lost this listen Dallas I just disagree with you and the Cowboys are um they're four point under dogs 30 to 20. the difference between Tampa Bay and Dallas we may
