my viewers at this so full tuna ladies and gentlemen i present to you i dry aged my nephew yeah i haven't just kidding everything take it easy on the comment section oh inside this packaging is he's a tick-tock superstar the youngest ever finalist and masterchef and he's all around a great dude who invited me to boston to cook this beautiful tuna with him wow before i show you the prepping of the tuna i think it's only right if i take you back to the very beginning this place is like disney world for fish lovers like you already know what we're looking for and i think we found our fish it's not that hard to tell who's got it this boy is humongous oh that's really reserved maybe humans must go through certain tests to determine the grading of the fish they use this simple meat taken from the tail with the belly fat extracted with this instrument to compare and evaluate the gradient the lighter the color is the more fat content he has and as you know fat is flavor the most popular types of tuna in the u.s are yellowfin albacore big eye and bluefin however is the fattiest and the most expensive which usually means the most flavorful but seriously walking around with this web tuna is making us look like boston mobsters back to the present fish in the kitchen and on the table it's this is not your clean up the first thing i gotta do is to take out the loin and in order to do that i'm going to put my blade on this his knife is a little too small though what i'm looking for is to separate them mostly like this almost like a sword right when i go back to the spine i want to remove the collar that will allow me to take out the collar just basking the beauty of this beast the next thing we got to do is to remove some of this bloodline because it does not taste good after these videos they have to invite that bottle of bread and separate the freshly butchered from the skin just looking for freeze some of it for later i'm looking forward to have some taste as good as it is and the next thing to do is to take out this big loin and cut it into individual steaks these were sliced to perfection check out how gorgeous they are for next dish you made a sushi roll that contains rice furikake avocado toasted with this flavor oh my god i don't know about this flavor combination though this is like california looks like but tuna and foie gras maybe monkfish liver would be a better combination with the seafood i think no japanese sushi lestrange imitate like this first they won't use furikake anyway um kurikati it's very how can i say cheap it's like an everyday kind of yeah so maybe not gonna use but let's see just sliced it up and it was time to try it it's creamy it's fatty the fish is amazing you can t you can taste each individual thing which is [Music] and that is exactly what i'm going to incorporate you need a and we're gonna find out which one is better then i started by seasoning with a good amount of salt followed by garlic powder and some freshly ground black pepper and that's it for the first steak the second one is getting a coating of olive oil to make sure that the olive oil because the only thing i have to do now is to go ahead but too much ingredients and the tuna has a very delicate flavor so there's no need to add so much stuff to it i think only sashimi is also nice but yeah let's see how it goes it is enough talking and it is time to cook this beautiful steak so let's do it [Music] but he's cooking it like a beef steak right butter thyme garlic [Music] um [Music] i think he could have used a little bit higher heat to get a little more color outside like yeah [Music] looks nicer yeah almost like uh all right this one is pan-fried with thyme and garlic okay i cooked it like a steak tuna yes but i'm excited to try you ready it looks perfect thank you thank you say that much let's go all right let's go for it okay let's see cheers everybody cheers everybody it reminds me so much of a steak what do you think it's really good it's really really really nice in my opinion it's just that you have that the kitchen from his video like wow yeah he throws a knife and it lands at the front buttery colder inside i like it a lot i like that a lot literally to me if you do not like fish you can eat this one here as if it was a steak yeah because it tastes like a steak everybody that's that really absolutely i really like it all right nick so we got this one that's the butter with a little bit of bread crumbs i just want to see which one is better yeah so much change let's try this texture ready for it yeah taste okay here we go all right okay with bread crumbs cheers everybody let me take a look here [Music] which one is better this one oh that's so tender not even close but the reaction is nice slight little crunch on there obviously right yeah and it gives a really really nice crust and then the fish is cooked perfectly and the fish is also protected really well by that
