today we're bringing back the Tree tent except this time we're gonna spice it up a little with height in this bag we have a 20 foot long rope ladder we're gonna attempt put the tree tent 20 feet up in the air I have 9-1-1 on speed dial so the first thing we have to figure out is which three trees to use so we've got this tree history here and this little guy here hopefully he does the trick with this Tree tent the first thing I have to do is wrap these These are called tree straps so basically these protect the tree in the bark from uh from the straps oh first one down one of three that wasn't uh that wasn't sketchy at all was it no not at all okay let's get this bread this one's a thick one wrote me you can do it I don't want you to lose no I got it I got it nice that was the one I was worried about oh it's up there we almost got ahead of ourselves and tightened the tent which would have lifted it up before we actually put the ladder on can we abandon this attempt now look how high this is the first one two straps secured we just have to ratchet the third and final one Moment of Truth moments of Truth okay we did it oh that's wild oh my God all right let's go get up there no way go you're gone finally got tent up 20 feet in the air and we just realized we forgot to pop it up with the tent poles [Music] oh boy this isn't sketchy not at all it feels like gym class this is worse than gym class foreign there goes that you got one no one died yet yet but we did it yeah this is uh this is pretty cool pretty good view from up here hello hi anyone up oh boy that is high it's the perfect time to have this tent look at the Fall colors up here so we don't really have a plan here but there's some rain coming in so we have to get the rain fly over top somehow so we're gonna have to use the ladder Joelle thinks she can help from up there nice yep that's one of three almost with the rain fly now being on the outside setup is finished that was tough now we just gotta get all of our sleeping stuff in there some wow [Music] oh wow that's high nice oh sorry we got it it's got a nice Warning Sign Here risk of serious injury I feel like in here because we have the tarp you can't really tell how high we are it's just when we look down then I get a little freaked out it feels fine now I'm hungry time to make dinner uh what do we got tonight we're gonna make some sloppages you can do it nowhere to hold on to here foreign before we continue any further with the video I wanted to quickly let you guys in on a little project that I've been working on as many of you know I uh pretty die-hard fishermen I love to fish and it had always been a dream of mine to either work for a fishing company or own my own fishing business but a year ago that's uh that's what I've started to do introducing recast fishing and the cool thing about recast is our lures are made from 100 recycled ocean Plastics so as of right now just to start we are offering two different styles these are our Square Bill crankbaits and lipless crankbaits to get these lures here in my hand from concept to design supply chain it was a huge undertaking I underestimated it time wise and financially you could head over to our website recast Dash fishing.com our first run was a little bit smaller just basically what we could afford so there is Limited stock we also have stuff like hoodies hats t-shirts available as well use code Adam 10 that's Adam 10 all caps at checkout you can save 10 on your first order any support you guys gave us would be hugely hugely appreciated thanks so much [Music] we're all ready to burn we're a little concerned with the fire pit being here and the tent being right behind us so I'm gonna do my best to keep the fire as small as possible to avoid any any big Sparks going up and burning a hole in the tent the wind seems to be blowing away from the tent so I think we should be okay foreign so tonight we're going to make some sloppy joes first I'm going to chop up some onion and then we have some celery and green pepper also that we're gonna chop up okay well Joel's finishing up cutting and prepping for dinner just gonna get the grade over the fire and start heating up the cast iron perfect too much oil [Music] foreign pepper in this mixture half of it so I pre-made the sauce here which is tomato sauce mustard Worcestershire brown sugar and water so we'll pour that in let's see oh that looks nice and thick oh yeah okay this is gonna be messy I'm gonna be very sloppy and to go with our sloppy joes some homemade pickles you don't make them homemade from someone else time to get sloppy Sloppy Joe's is one of those meals that always hits great camping meal too it's super easy only a few ingredients maybe it took 30 minutes maybe 20 minutes yeah it's delicious 8 out of 10. hmm gonna be able to do this on a uh on a full stomach we'll see I mean weigh down the ladder here oh boy you're almost there yes it's a lot easier if someone if someone or something is anchoring the ladder as you'll see in a second when I go on I swing it's just a it's just harder definitely have trouble here you don't need to use my head I don't like that I know he's the only way one day close this hatch ASAP for we have an accident and we're safe we made it tucked in amongst the tree branches here and it's only 8 30 but we're tired hey 8 30 is a full day right there wish us luck hopefully we don't fall to the ground hopefully the hot stays closed I forgot to bring my helmet yeah we'll catch up with you guys in the morning good night good morning how'd you sleep good A little chilly definitely got cold last night we're still currently floating 20 feet off the ground I almost I know it's pretty bizarre thing and I think it's just about time uh for some coffee it's a long way for coffee another beautiful morning out here it's freezing but it's beautiful [Music] foreign not the worst definitely not the best coffee's ready how'd you sleep it was actually really good I think it was better than when there was three of us it wasn't warping as much did you feel scared at all no we're bear proof there I think 20 feet I think we're okay we're safe from bears yeah I think we're pretty safe but once you're in your sleeping bag you kind of just forget that you're 20 feet off the ground it just felt like just felt like a regular night of sleep can bears climb ladders do you think a bear could climb this rope ladder I uh I don't know but I feel like no but question everyone Maybe could Chester climb that rope definitely not nope well we gotta warm up with their coffees and we have some technical tent breakdown to do so we're gonna get on with that hope you guys enjoyed this video and we'll catch you in the next one bye this video was
