2024 Winnebago Solis 36A Pocket

good morning and welcome to Transwest truck trailer RV I'm AC and today I'm going to walk you through this brand new Winnebago soulless pocket this is actually our first 2024 here on the lot it is available and it's in this beautiful ceramic gray color uh we're gonna start up front here and kind of work our way back this is going to be on the Ram 1500 chassis so it's going to be a 3.6 liter uh 288 horsepower gas engine it is front wheel drive which will give you some additional traction a lot of our customers put lifts on these put a little more aggressive all-terrain tire take them up in the mountains up here in Colorado maybe one thing I like I got to say 17 foot 10 inches in length you can drive this downtown when you're going to go watch the Nuggets kick some butt gets around real nice and easy we're gonna work our way back here you can see we have our upgraded wheels and tires here this is more of a street terrain These are nice alloy wheels of course we're going to have our fixed running board right here you have a loop on both sides if you need to tie down a bike or you know maybe put your pet on the leash for a little bit while you go for you know for a quick walk or something you can always use the leash we're going to have our outdoor patio light right here as we work our way back a couple things again if you look at it from a distance this is 17 foot 10 inches so it's really short short wheelbase it's a 23 chassis on this so you get all the upgraded benefits of it you're going to have the crosswind assist the Ford Collision warning all the safety features on this chassis we work our way back I have this set up for the outdoor shower it's kind of wanted to point that out today show you what that would look like a beautiful day you're up in the mountains you know maybe you've been hiking sweating a little bit so you want to maybe you're watching the other team losing and you're sweating or watching the Nuggets down 15 and a half I was sweating a little bit but I knew we'd come back it's time to take a shower and cool off so it's pretty easy there's a couple magnets that come with the unit once you have this set up you're just going to put some additional magnets in here and now you have a nice size privacy area to take an outdoor shower in perfect time of year for it because we do have the Solace pocket does not have a hot water system in it you can always buy an aftermarket one uh if you're interested in something like that let me know I use one that works really well when we go camping but on a nice day like this cold water feels really good once you're done with the shower pretty simple to take this off again you can have additional magnets so you can use this as an awning I did a video a little while back where I demonstrated how the awning works using the same shower curtain basically you got four velcro straps here just take that off and fold it you can put it back in one of the overhead compartments you can see how well I do laundry I fold it up real nice and neat I'm sure my wife wouldn't agree with that but another benefit to this bar here is if it's windy outside and you're working back here in the garage area you don't want the doors opening and closing on you this is a really nice feature to have because of that I'm gonna take it apart got some nice little clamps here that hold it in place now you can see we have our blackout shades I really like these they're durable easy to use they just zip up and down when you're want some light just roll them up and put them inside here all right now we're gonna have our Rolex green back here as well so on a nice day like today if you want to cool off if you're not somewhere where you can plug in to shore power if you're not carrying a generator to run the air conditioner you can open the side door in the back door and just let some fresh air circulate back here you're going to have your outdoor shower port gonna have your water pump your fresh water inlet and then a couple fresh tank drains here uh same here with your fresh water valve you're going to have an external solar Port this does have a solar on the roof you can add an additional panel here and have a 12 volt and a couple USB ports of course 110 outlet that is only hot when you're plugged into short power or to a generator back here you're going to have your gray tank drained so this is going to have 20 gallons of fresh water 20 gallons of gray there's no black tank because there's no restroom there is a porta potty which I'll show you here in a little bit you're going to have the L track tie down points you're going to have four back here along with this Molle panel gate makes for a perfect size little kennel or if you're carrying inflatable kayaks that kind of stuff and you don't want it rolling around back here it kind of Corrals it really nice along with giving you four really good sized cubbies in there [Music] of course we're gonna have our backup camera up top there's our Coleman air conditioner as well 3 500 pound tow hitch and down here you're going to see our connector so you have a seven pin connector and our four pin connector so you know 3 500 pounds you can pull a nice light kayak trailer or a small boat you know again 3 500 pounds does allow you for some towing capacity oh almost forgot to show you the propane all right right here is our propane tank so as you can see it's just a regular tank like you'd have under your grill at home really easy to swap in and out when you run out you can carry additional ones if you if you want if you're going to go dry camping for a while got a nice little seat belt left to keep it in place it's also there's also a vent back here if you can show that down on the bottom there there's this event with the screen all right really nice access panel here no access door you can open reach in there shut the propane on and off [Music] we're going to have 30 amp service again if you're at an RV park if you're at home plugged in or neighbors a buddy's driveway maybe you go visit you can get a an adapter so you can plug into a standard outlet we're going to have our furnace exhaust right there this is a gas engine so you can have 24 gallons of fuel [Music] a couple things to point out here here's the hood latch release your emergency parking brake it's got an electronic parking brake your battery boost here so if you leave your lights on overnight you need to merge those house and Chassis batteries to help jump start you would hold that down while you turn the key you're going to have fold-in mirrors here adjustable mirrors and power windows and door locks all right again V6 there's a little bit of room in here it's not like the old days where you can sit in the hood and work on your vehicle those days are long gone unless you have a classic car but plenty of room to access your oil so you can check your oil fill it you have your blinker fluid right here so if one of your turn signals ain't working make sure you check that out here's your coolant you can see your marker lights up top makes for really good visibility while you're going down the road other people will see you again it's only 17 foot just over 17 foot or under 18 I'd say both seats do swivel so I kind of want to point out a couple things here because first time you see it it might throw you off a little these little scrap bars that'll adjust the back this will adjust the front so it's already up I'll have to sit in it and knock it back down right here you have a dial for the backrest and then this is actually gonna do your lumbar support right here there's another small dial right here and that will inflate right here for your lumbar support also your armrests are adjustable there's a little dial underneath that you can use to adjust for the right height there as we open up here we're gonna have our flip down table with the cable which lets you adjust it if you're on uneven ground so that your table is level makes for some really nice outdoor prep space or if you're by yourself you want to set up a couple chairs out here and eat out here it's perfect the running board like I said it is fixed but it does actually work as a nice little bench if you don't want to carry other seats you actually have a place to sit without having to sit on the ground or inside we're going to have our three cubic foot Nova cool 12 volt refrigerator does have a small freezer easy access to load and unload from outside you're going to have your light switches here this one's going to turn on your patio light and this is going to be your living room light here you can have a couple more standard Outlets USBS and another 12 volt and again these are hot all the time off of your battery that is only hot when you're plugged into short power or to a generator of course we have our our real lift screen here with magnetic end piece here so that when it's rolled down you don't have to be opening and closing it I should say zipping and unzipping again beautiful day like today this is perfect get some fresh air circulating through there if you need to go in and out you don't have to zip and unzip makes it really nice and easy [Music] also stores Away really nice really easy that's actually one of the things I like about this solid pocket saw this pocket I keep saying nice and easy everything's real simple not a lot to go wrong in this thing if you've never rv'd before this could be a really good starter it's easy to drive around gets you in and out of some tight spots down here we're gonna have another 110 outlet and then a furnace vent inside here I actually have this is where your dinette is I have it set up in one of the layouts which is more of a I love seat or a couch here as you can see so if you have the door open you're looking outside maybe there's a lake on that side beautiful scenery you want to be able to sit there and enjoy it the other thing that that does for you while you're using that piece for the back rest is that it frees up your cat your counter space back here let me put away this nicely folded shower curtain so by using that back rest there you gotta huge prep area here whether you're you know you're setting up maybe you like to go out and take photos do photography my daughter loves taking pictures you can set up all your camera equipment back here you're cooking getting ready for some visitors to come hang out plenty of prep space when you're done with that setup maybe it's time to eat it's really simple to do you're just going to turn these cushions back around take your table off because this is a pocket there's no uh no pop top so there's no ladder to store up top gives you a nice little storage area up here for all these different attachments these adjust really easy just has a nice little clamp you can tighten loosen it up a little bit all right now you have your dining area time to play some cards play some Blackjack run me whatever you like to play perfect area you like to work on your laptop while you're on the road maybe you're working on your Photoshop for all those beautiful pictures you took out up in the mountains you got a couple spots here for storage you have an opening here to run cable so if you want to plug in a set your laptop in here and charge it [Music] got a nice little charging station here on both sides there you go so you do have storage on both sides with the access for that charging station there we have another cubby down here in the furnace vent you're not watching where you're going and you get a flat this will help you out this will air up your tire again dinette couch you can make it a day bed as well so I think I'll do the day bed for you I'm not going to do all of them I've done it in some other videos so you guys can feel free to check out the other videos I've done but it's pretty simple so getting all this stuff stores up nicely up here good okay all right so now I can leave it like this and use it as a day bed maybe I want to read a book hang out this also comes out you can use this as the base instead of the table if you want to leave your table up so you can lay down and have access to a small table you can rotate the seat around and get rid of these [Music] that way they're not in your way while you're laying down if you're kind of a short short person here you can actually lay down and take a nap here you can sleep you can take this pillow off here maybe lay down the pillow this way have a nice little sleeping area or maybe you have kids with you be a perfect spot for them we'll leave it set up like that under here you're going to have your porta potty a lot of people don't need a bathroom because they're going to be at campsites they're going to be on the road you know you can stop in to get lunch at a McDonald's now and then or somewhere else and use the restroom but this is nice for emergencies if you don't use it you can always leave it at home and you got additional storage under there all right in here in the kitchen we're gonna have a two burner stove stainless steel sink they have three drawers on this side again I showed you you have this Molly panel door here that works kind of as a fur candle or to keep your gear from rolling around back here behind that a couple things I want to point out you're gonna have this little light bar here that's actually going to show the amount of water you have in your fresh tank really nice if you don't want to look at the gauge and you know it maybe says 30 you can actually look here and see if it's full or how far down it is kind of nice right here you're going to have a nice little spot to set up you can use it for sanitizing your water tank and I also use it for gravity feed so you can just bring a five gallon jug of water if you're running low maybe you're out dry camping you can just pour it in here instead of having to hook up to a hose more USBS another 12 volt and again another standard outlet of course it's a new van you're going to have a box of goodies here you're going to have your outdoor shower hose it's basically a garden hose you can always replace these change the hose style if you're using the outdoor shower a lot you're going to have your sewer hose these are your caps for your Port your porta potty and give you a drinking water hose a lot of times you can use this people use this to do the winterizing themselves so you just cut off the end pour that end into the jug of coolant wizard winterizing fluid and then hook this up to actually the uh the water inlet back here and then of course you can have a 30 amp short cord that kind of takes care of this back area you do have some overhead storage again plenty of clearance I'm 511 on a good day and I'm not hitting my head up here I love the magnets I say it every time but I really like that idea keeps the doors from sagging down you're not going to hit your head on them when you turn unless you're you know six two six three probably all right now of course when it's time to sleep you're going to set up your Murphy bed this is actually a 54 by 79 bed plenty of room for two people if you got little ones I was showing it the other day had a little boy that kept bouncing from here up to there climbing up there really easy he made it look easy you know the older you get that's a little harder to do but you do have a nice little step here this cushion you can actually store behind here if you want to just get it out of the way so that you can still use this counter space then you Buckle that up now you have the free counter space the cushions out of your way or you can use it back here for the backrest all right overhead here a couple things to point out this switch here is going to turn in on and off your LED light strip right here behind me you're going to have your solar charge controller you can see right now our batteries are at 13.6 right here is your gauge for your battery which is full your grade tank which is empty your water pump switch remember we don't have a black tank here is your furnace that you just set your temperature right now we don't need it we just leave it off up front here a couple things to point out again this is on the Ram ProMaster chassis this is a 24 Winnebago so right here's where you turn your fan off and on on this side you'll set your whether you want it to cool or heat it's kind of loud at full speed so turning it off so you can hear me a little better we have our seven inch touchscreen it is a push button start you have plenty of cup holders down here a little cubby back here for miscellaneous items you can set your phone up right here stand it up there's a port down here so you can run to your charger nice little glove box area on that side you have your glove box and then a little extra cubby up top here there's another spot depends on what you want to throw in there I don't know depends on you know what you're doing while you're driving down the road you might have change you might have your wallet whatever you want to put up there for easy access we're going to have ours like I said outside this is a nine speed automatic transmission does have tow haul mode steering wheel controls you can make phone calls you can go through your gauges here check your average miles per gallon so at this point we're at 16 assuming some of that is driving around the parking lot here maybe part of the trip here these do get driven in from Winnebago in Forest City Iowa touch screen stereo you're going to have your music Apple carplay SiriusXM [Music] you go to your vehicle settings your phone settings your main menu again here's all your trip you can do a split screen as you can see here we have our phone and our XM XM going super easy to use so it does telescope it does not tilt but the steering wheel does telescope down here it's kind of hidden down here there's a little latch that you set it where you want and then push it down I already showed you guys the electronic parking brake and the battery boost of course you're going to have your turn signals your wipers pretty basic stuff on the camera here on your rear view mirror you can use the camera back there as you're driving so this will show you what's behind you when you're moving you know for me it kind of bothers me everything's kind of moving back it looks kind of weird to me but you can shut it off by pushing down and you might you might actually not be bothered by it like I do but there's some additional settings here so you can dim it you can see right there you can adjust the camera angle it's kind of nice of your Towing you can adjust the camera and go to look down a little further and I like to shut that off here we have our SOS button I think that was the same button I think the Lakers tried it didn't really work but you know it's there if you need it your assist button there's your lights all you Laker fans I'm just giving you a hard time they're a great team we just have a solid Squad this year that's really all I have for you guys today if you have
