2024 Lexus NX Secret Features You Didn't Know

hi I'm Dustin Mason from Performance Lexus in St Catharines and today I'm going to show you five hidden features you might not have known about the 2024 NX but before I get into that make sure you hit like And subscribe for more Lexus related content as well as let me know in the comments below what you thought of this video and if there's any video ideas you have for the future hidden feature number one is how the windows roll up so what you'll notice is as the window closes and it gets to the top it actually slows down and this is supposed to be lexus's sort of homage to omotanashi or the Japanese tea ceremony where when you close the door you slow down let me show you foreign is it's really easy to miss but it is pretty cool when you notice it number two is road sign assist so the first thing you're going to want to do is hit the six little squares on your Center screen scroll over to the third page and make sure roadside assist is on it's really cool feature that on your main gauge cluster you'll be able to see what road signs are around you that the car has picked up whether you're driving or stopped now for me I remember I've stopped at a red light one time and I looked down at my gauge cluster and I can see that it says no right turn on red and I was like wow that's pretty cool I didn't realize that and then I looked up and off to the corner in a pretty bad spot there was a sign that said no right turn on red so the car picked that up and reminded me right in the center there and I think it's such a cool feature the next item feature is to make it easier for you to change your windshield wipers so right now the car is parked and it's they're kind of just down but there is a way that you can have it so they're upright even when the car is off let me show you okay so with the car off all you're going to do is hold up on the wiper lever for about 10 seconds and then the wipers will go up and stay there okay number four is custom ambient lighting so to get to the ambient lighting you're just going to hit the gear symbol you're gonna scroll down to vehicle customized which by the way there is a lot of cool settings in here and we're going to go illumination and there's a few different things here we can do by Zone where you can choose different intensities for front rear and foot we can do some different themes where it's like lightning bamboo rainforest or we can go down to custom and if you hit custom you can click on the color and change it to whatever you want so you could have it blue bright pink orange whatever you want hit okay and then the car will have it like that so my fifth and probably the most missed hidden feature in any Lexus not to mention the new 2024 NX is the wiper de-icer so in Canada it's really important because in the snow time you get those streaks on your windshield wipers where you can actually turn on a heating element that's built into your windshield to make sure there's no ice buildup on your wipers how you get to it is just hit climate on your main screen and you'll see the word de-icer at the bottom of the list turn that on and for a set amount of time it'll heat up those wipers and you won't have any streaks so there you have it five hidden features of the 2024 NX hybrid I'm sure there's a lot more hidden features that I can go over so if you like this video make sure you hit like or comment below for some other ideas for future content I'm Dustin Mason from Performance Lexus in St Catharines thank you for watching and I'll see you in the next video foreign [Music]
