2021 Historic Challenge Dream MATCH | Efren REYES & Carlo BIADO vs Francisco BUSTAMANTE & Anton RAGA

hello everyone i'm mark gray working for billiard network and we have a great match on our hands here today this is called the dream match and it's a scotch doubles format race to 15 alternate break and the game is 10 ball and we have efren reyes partnering carlo biardo against francisco bustamante for young anton raga what a great match this should be this match is being played in kaizen city manila the philippines and efren reyes as we all know one of the legends of the game four-time world eight ball champion he's a former world nine ball champion three-time u.s open winner world cup a pool champion 13 times the derby classic city winner regarded as one of the sports greats whatever discipline he plays nine ball ten ball eight ball one pocket he is class and his partner carlo beardo former world nine ball champion himself back in 2017 and their opposition today is anton raga known as the dragon young 23 year old up and coming player his partner in the legend francisco bustamante very tricky shot on the one ball here very hampered queuing there for beardo and i don't think he refused the shot there with hampered queuing unlucky there from francisco played the bank carom unfortunately made the three but also made the cue ball so here's the legend himself at the table efron now 66 year old not the player he was but whenever you see him around the pool table it always draws everybody's attention one of the sporting greats nickname the magician he has played many magic shots over the years in his illustrious career have to say it's going to be a very good match this four great filipino players carlo they're just rolling the five ball to leave the six in the side pocket for ephron nicely played and this is looking good for the first rack here for bustamante sorry for reyes and beardo carlos one of them players i love watching he shows no emotion he can't tell whether he's winning or losing which is a great trait to have and there we go reyes sinks the temple and they take a one rack lead rack two beardo to break usually has a very good breakdow controls the cute ball didn't really hit that with full throttle and uh hence that's why he's come up dry that's the bad news but the good news is he's not left a shot on the one ball two hall of famers playing this match reyes and bustamante with multiple titles between them both great mini match players as well nice shot there from busty pushes the one ball around three angles gets the cue ball in behind the three and seven looks like efron's going to play the one row kick and that's very unlike efron table maybe just playing a little bit slidy remember folks billion net work is the place to be if you want to follow lots of high profile american pool matches we have euro tour matches we have world ranking matches money games open events it's been a very strange year this year as 2020 i've not actually played any pool tournaments myself since february so it is nice to see some live pool action busty and anton looking for a quick reply here after losing the first rack nicely played nice easy tumble and there we have it after two racks it's one rack each rack three francisco bustamante to break neither team found the break yet so let's see what francisco can do and there's your answer very powerful break makes one ball anton raga 23 year old needs a good long pot nicely played so many good filipino players around now bustay chooses to play the three ball long two ball long so he has perfect position on three ball in the side that wasn't the greatest shot there from young anton just losing the cue ball a bit table looks super slick bustamante is now 57 years old is that cube always keep rolling he's just pointing his tip there to where he really wanted it but the pot's not the difficult thing here the nine ball is not in a nice situation you really want to be straight in behind it a lot better shot than it looked there played that cue ball with lots of check side to straighten the cue ball up to get closer in on the nine ball bust the glides are nine in no problem at all it's a straightforward ten ball here for raga it may take a two rack to one lead and rack four efren reyes to break his team trailing two racks to one elected to play a softer break there but made a ball in the side pocket unfortunately no shot on the one ball for carlos just getting the bridge out and choosing to play a push shot anton raga choosing to shoot at this one ball and that's another superb pot what a shot that was buster plays the two with a lot of running side coming off two cushions enabling great position on the three ball and again raga putting lots of juice on that cube or getting lots of spin to avoid the seven and leave a nice shot on the four this must be a joy for young raga only 23 year old playing with three legends of the game here and efren reyes carlo biardo and francisco bustamante but by no means does he look out of his depth here this dream match being held in association with cba and predator predator my main sponsor it's a big shout out to them looking after all the players in these hard times and there we have it it's 3-1 rack five anton raga to break superb break two balls down bustamante comes to the table with the one ball hanging over the pocket nicely as you can see he's on the three ball but the shot here is get three all the way back to the four at the top end of the table that cueva needs to keep traveling and he's just pulled up short it's gonna have to be a safety two ways of playing safe here personally i would play the thing clip off the floor and swing the cue ball around the angles like so got a good distance not quite how he was hoping though he would like to have cover so carlo has a clear shot at the fore to try and play italian safety out these out of these four players i've been lucky enough to play carlo and reyes but um i've never played francisco nor young raga is that four to keep rolling yeah i was lucky enough to play efren reyes in the world nine ball championships in qatar a good few years ago it was one of the early matches and uh playing in a real big auditorium and there there's not many crowds there but then i'm playing ephron and because there's a big filipino following out in qatar it the stadium was absolutely packed and i will never forget it great experience i was 5-2 up and the great man come back and beat me 9-8 and raga he looks superb very solid player this young lad very high standard so far buster needs his temple to take a four racks to one lead and there we have it and we're into the sixth rack here of this dream match fiano breaking trailing one rack to four that's a lot better break off this time reyes and beyond i've been shut out a little bit in the early stages of this match but this is a chance for them to get going efrain not the tallest player on the pole circuit so a bit of a stretch or he's going to choose to swap hands ronnie o'sullivan-esque very good great to see him still playing at 66 year old the magician it's amazing when you ask all the pool players who their favorite player is or who inspires them most people will tell you that it's efren reyes nicely played there draws the cue ball back with a lot of spin to get up table for the four ball nice shot from carlo they're using the rest they should be good the filipinos using the rest because none of the lads are very tall efren reyes is a very good snooker player here as well jimmy white who i know very well from my snooker professional days has played ephron and i think efren has had 100 breaks on the snooker circuit but that was a bad miss from him the only good news for him is he's not left to shot on the six that's easy or straightforward here but young raga he's looked very accomplished so far in this match clever shot played the bank on the six now i mean if he didn't make it he's probably got cover but also if he did make it then he's got a nice shot on the seven so a clever shot there yeah going for his jump q his greatest moment in pull winning the 2017 world nine ball championship and make these jump shots look so easy nowadays all the equipment as pro professional pool players use now certainly makes it easier and that jump shot on the six that he nailed has set him up now for a nice easy run out to reduce the arrears in this dream match absolute pleasure for myself mark gray the granite to be a commentator for billiard network so beardo nice temple here to reduce the arrears to two racks to four nicely done good break there from efferent carla has a nice shot on the one here just a straight forward draw the cue ball back for the two ball making sure you don't leave yourself straight nice open table here just what you want after a slow start in this match going one four down that's starting to work the way back into it here reyes renowned for his kickshots over the years i think if he had a top 50 shots on a pool table ever i reckon the great man himself the magician he would have 30 of them himself and buster the two biggest legends from the philippines just gotta punch this seven ball in to get the cue ball away from the cushion to make this eight ball very comfortable just slowly stun this eight ball in for the nine in the opposite pocket as you can see as he's got older reference there's a little bit of body movement on his shots happens to everyone and again beardo takes the temple gets another rack on the board rack nine the match is tied at four axel anton raga to break these boys start to get the hang of the break now working working out how hard or soft to hit it to squeeze the balls behind the womble into the side pocket buster does like playing these shots doesn't like to use the rest and how well has he played that spins it in off two cushions and finishes absolutely perfect for the two ball for his partner table looks to be playing lovely the balls are not pairing up off the break all the balls are staying in the open so the players are not having to do too much at the moment to run out just make make sure to keep a good cue ball and leave the pots as easy as possible but still they're just drawing the cube all back effortless effortlessly very natural player buster quick fire stuff here in the dream match here in kaizen city manila the philippines great to see some pool there's an absolute treach of these four great players battling it out here and it's race to 15. these are the 10 balls that we all like let's bust the slots at home to take a 5-4 lead rack 10 here hope you're all enjoying this match back at home everyone another good break there from riado two balls down off the break after a really tough year for everybody with this coved 19 virus it's great to see some pull and how lucky are we to have some of the legends here efrain the magician reyes 66 year old here still strutting his stuff with his partner carlos biardo and in the other corner another legend in francisco bustamante now 57 year old and his partner partner's the young gun known as the dragon anton raga just 23. it's great to see these four battling it out giving us some pull and if you've only just joined us after nine racks it's been very high standard here oh that was a poor shot he flew the three ball but because we're playing ten ball here so it's nominate pocket now if he had missed that and the three ball went all the way around the table and into the pocket he was aiming for he would have stayed at the table but as he potted the three ball not in the designated pocket then he leaves the table it's not foul he just leaves the table and busty they got out the blocks very quick ran into a 4-1 lead but as the match is progressing carlo biardo and reyes they're just starting to get some momentum going and this is a great chance to get back to five five i've only ever played beardo once i played him in new york three or four years ago in the world pool series it was run by my good friend darren appleton nephrons just missed the seven a there of body movement on that shot sort of steered the cue ball lifted his body up off the queue that's a sign of maybe he's not been playing much and certainly age it's a good shot from busty so there's 10 ball for young anton raga to take a 6-4 lead nicely done rack 11 busty to break him and anton 6-4 up in this race to 15. it's an absolute pleasure to be bringing this game to you some beasts of the game another good break these boys have certainly worked the break off shot out well now i just want to stamp no authority on this game again they got into a 4-1 lead got pegged back now they're just starting to get some momentum going again he's lost the cue ball here bus date oh and that's put anton in a tight spot here very awkward cueing probably one of the toughest shots in the game when you're jacking up not much of the cue ball to hit there you go misses it by a long way a little bit of a chance slip there so many great players from the philippines over the years alcano as well cortaza lining gomez i think gomez gets remembered for absolutely bottling it to win the world championship back in 2007. ignacio another good player de luna it'd be great if we could have the world team championships again i was lucky enough to be part of a great british team that won it me in ramadia darren appleton carl boyz daryl peach and we beat the philippines in the final and what strong team they had or carlo as well philippines back to the match and uh beardo just put a nice ball there to get on the ten reyes sinks to ten five six rack twelve f run to break another very soft break there for my friend lucky to make a ball really three ball down but no shot on the one [Music] ball thank you superb shop there from biardo just flicked a bit aside on that spin the cue ball around two cushions took him behind the six ball and this is a very difficult hit very aptly named this match the dream match three world champions buster's gonna play a lot of bottom on this cue ball here to straighten the angle up oh very unlucky had two chances of hitting that and it's just missed either side this is a big chance to go six six just trying to find his angle to get nicely on the two air and again he's a bit jumpy on the shot is the magician piano very solid not much body movement very short action on the queue not much can go wrong efren and busty they're very more um more natural players i would say i think carlo has made a mess of that if that cuts in that is super thin cut that may even be too difficult for efran i have to play the snooker or the hook he's got lucky there he wasn't meaning to hit that but it actually worked out very well for him going airborne here raga jumping over the temple every time these top players pick up a jump cue these days you just expect them to make them now they're so good you just know they're going to hit it and they're going to make the ball as well he's hitting it mr pot needs some luck and i think both corner pockets is covered i hope you're all enjoying this match ladies and gentlemen back at home one of find to watch and enjoy been a very tough year this year with no tournaments really since february with the covid virus good hit from busty but unlucky to leave the sixth ball effort be happy with that nice close cue ball control on the seven makes it easy work to get on the eight drops in dead white again there's more body movement nearly missed the eight it went through the back door but anyway it dropped and carli now this nine nicely played there we have it the legend sinks the temple it's six six rack 13 matt's tied at six all raga to break he just misses that a little bit come across the womble lost the cue ball but still made two balls and the first this is the first rack in 13 racks where a couple of balls have paired themselves up that's what buster is looking at he has a shot at the two and the three and four are in close proximate proximity but the six oh sorry it's the one and the six he's playing the one now so now it's not easy to play a real good positive safety here then with the one being on the six ball shot good effort has left the window though looking for cover here calculated safety there from efron the four balls down this ender table for cover soraga just has to be a little bit careful now what a shot that is he's played the bank and the safety and he's had loads of side on that cue ball and so look if the work if the one ball lamp had gone in he'd had him snookered the filipino players i'll always look to attack a bank shot with myself coming from england and a snooker background and a lot of other english players as well they would never have even looked at banking that they'd just been looking at playing a telling safety players like darren appleton and chris mellon who come from an english pool background they would probably look at playing the bank shot more always a crowd pleaser when you see the bank shots going or the combination shots and these filipinos are certainly crowd pleasers as just as i say that buster's gonna missed an easy eight this time he had a bit of body movement lifting his head up off the shot we all do it not straightforward for brdo because the 10 is in play a little bit terrific shot absolute terrific shot there from beardo in fact he's hit it too well lots of top and follow through there to generate the pace in the cue ball to go up and down the table because he'd come a bit too far after and all f1 could do was uh roll the nine in at slow weight and leave um carlo and attemble at distance and he makes it we have new leaders 7-6 biardo reyes so here we are into the 14th rack of this dream and it's 7-6 biardo reyes ephraim moaning about his luck there but he's not really hitting them hard and he's drawing the cue ball back so as soon as you're not hitting them very hard the one balls stay in this end of the table and the cue ball is going away from it so he can't really moan about his look too much there carlo chooses to play the push out here always a big psychological part of the game is to push out because you're playing into an area where you're making your opponent think what is he going to do next why has he put me there so he's chose to put him back in so when carlo played that push out he had something in mind what to do in case he gets put back in so we will now see he's just putting the tip on the table where he wanted the cue ball to be he hasn't got the snooker but he has has got it safe anton roger there gets good distance between the one ball and the cue ball testing the 66 year old man's eyes a four-time world eight ball champion he scratched him off we don't have the world eight ball championships at the moment which is a big shame used to be a good fun tournament going to countries like fujara efrain certainly struggling with his long game here nicely played there from busty dead straight on the three so drew it back with lots of reverse spin the only thing that can go wrong here is if you hook yourself on the five and the four i've played it with lots of inside english so this should be straightforward now very entertaining match to watch this not hanging around very fluent all four players just under it that a little bit though any time you're playing a shop that's in the blind pocket because you can't really see the pocket here so they can be missed nicely played i've been very very impressed with raga this young 23 year old playing with these three superstars and after 14 racks it's seven racks each so rack 15 everybody at the halfway stage of this match and there's the difference between busty's break and reyes's break he gives that a lot more force not the easiest shot to get this rack going tube always gone a little bit congested wow very clever shot there from young raga calls that corner pocket makes it now i have cover if it doesn't go in but if it does go in he has a shot on the two which buster converts very nicely and from out or nothing they've created themselves a chance here roger having to use the rake here they don't always like using the rake or the rest as we call it back in england or europe deals with it now just have to be careful there i didn't want to overdo that i wanted to make sure he left a nice angle rag is just over at that fraction rusty looking very comfortable though must be said very fluent action he's always had the same fluid action as buster and raga with the temple they take an 8-7 lead rack 16 biardo to break trailing seven racks to eight cursed wow four balls down unfortunately one of them's the cue ball very unlucky it controlled the cube all well but unfortunately another ball just come and carry the cue ball into the side pocket always devastating in the pool when you break and the cue ball gets kicked enough you can ask all the players it's their pet hates in this dream match as it's been called very aptly named was legends of the game bustamante and efren reyes buster's still showing that lovely touches out all these years just floats posing positional play perfect a lot of confidence in his young partner as well raga the dragon as he's known very quick and this temple to go two racks clear rack 17 roger to break that's the first dry break we've had in a long while but again he didn't hit the one ball full at the front he sort of come across it only at a half ball hence why no balls down what a superb shot that is chose to play the safety rather than the real thing cut pot dusty's going to be playing a three cushion kick here one two no misjudged it misjudged it badly for someone of his experience efron the great man himself at the table lost count of how many major titles he's won also a very good chess player many times i've been at tournaments and he's sat playing playing other players at chess or members of the public and apparently he's very very good rack 18 ladies and gents the magician breaks eight nine and another dry break and for the combination there but miss hit it good pot from carlo but he's just left efren a little bit thin here on the two ball cube is gonna have to do a bit of mileage around the table efrain just pointing there not totally happy where he's left his partner there obviously at 66 year old he's not going to be quite the same player as he was in his day because of that carlos gonna miss that three and now he needs some luck still a ball i expecting him to make though but he's not left buster anything easy chooses to play the safety and looks like he's got cover beyond the five ball tight ephron plays the split safety the only thing with that shot is you always if you don't get cover you're always going to leave a possibility be a bank shot and especially with all these filipinos they're so good at the bank shot they make him look very easy and i think he has called the bank there you go but not on the fall so that could be a reprieve for carlo and ephron good effort great to see some world-class pool on our screens it's been a very tough year for everybody on and off the pool table myself i've not played a competitive pool match since uh italy euro tour back in february obviously we had the moscone cup a couple of weeks ago europe managed to win the title back with a very comprehensive win over usa 11-3 jason shaw alvin ouching young josh fuller excellent catski and feeder gorst bringing the moscone cup home after america had won it the previous two years obviously wasn't quite the same without any crowds this year nice little touch from carlo there little karen there flicking off the six to pop the seven but also controlling the six to leave efron a shot on the six which he julie popped it'd be really good to have some big tournaments back on the circuit next year but the way the virus is going at the moment it's anybody's guess all our gb 9-ball tours all been postponed and cancelled for the time being all the euro tours all the open events around europe obviously we lost the world nine ball championships this year and the us open back to the match biardo needs his temple to tighten at nine all rack 19. nine racks each buster to break buster is breaking very well making balls getting good splits four balls just gone a little bit messy here scotch doubles very popular in the pool world something that doesn't happen in the snooker something i've really enjoyed playing scotch doubles the world cup of pole run by matroom sports they have 32 teams every year i've been lucky enough to get to the final for team england twice and each time my partner blackpool's daryl peach 2007 world 9 world champion himself unfortunately we came up short against team usa one year shane van bonen and rodney morris and then we uh lost to taiwan back in 2015 in the final copinhi and his partner there is room to get to that four just off the cue ball a little bit just one good pot on the six ball required here and i think you can safely say this rack's over [Music] hmm gotta be a little bit careful here doesn't want to nudge the nine away if he's taking it long nicely played been very impressed with young anton raga the 10 balls down and raga and busty lead 10 racks to 9. rack 20 they are though to break i've got a thin toe here reference unless he plays the bank i think he's going to play the thing cut oh no he's chose the bank nicely does it uh the reason he played that bank was he could get the cue ball closer to the three if he had played the thin shot he was just the cue ball was going across the table and not coming down towards the three so hence why he played the bank shot as i said earlier these filipinos i love a bank shot i just get down and expect to make them carlos not happy with that shot the reason being is the four goes but the six is coming into play and he needs to get down the other end of the table for the five ball that's one of the best shots ever on the played in this match punched the four and used the six to guide a cue ball down table see how good beardo is with the rake nice touch good shot still great to see this man playing the game efren reyes regarded by most as the greatest player ever certainly one of the most knowledgeable players i've ever seen and spoke to a little tester for him though curing off the cushion these are the shots as you get older you don't love so much as when you're in your 20s or 30s there you go you see the body movement there but the eight ball drops very entertaining match this ladies and gentlemen race to 15 looks like we're going all the way in the dream match here in kaizen city manila this 10 for 10 10 and there we have it the 21st rack and at first glance i think it's dry it is just a couple of bad breaks creeping in towards the business end of this match now you can see the scores 10 each race to 15 scotch doubles their dream match this ain't going to look very nice for efren i don't think never knew where the cue ball was going there it's always the trouble when you're putting a ball and cannon into another ball you can never totally be sure where that cue ball is going and this is why efrain's in a little bit bother here playing the kick shot there's a little bit of hit and hope there i think the two will go great shot there from busty that was miserable nicely done from raga there might not look difficult but he's played that three ball there with lots of inside english but buster's played a bad shot just played that little bit too casual not sure what brag can do here he's calling this which means he's possibly playing the four in off the six no not the shot bit of an experience there so biardo comes to the table with a great chance of him and ephraim taking the lead again a little bit twitchy but the five drops biardo plays that shot very well just tops it in with a little bit of side floats the cue ball off top cushion side cushion gets f run absolutely perfect on the eight and beardo again just floats that in lots of inside english off two cushions and this nice easy temple for an 11 10 lead an efferent strong point he's certainly not his break at temple another dry break there just as i was looking at getting a bit of momentum going going in the lead at 11 10 here in his first 15 good pot on the one ball there from raga but unfortunately the cue balls rolled two or three inches too far and uh not left busty a shot on the two he's cool in the pocket i need some luck he's at it but it's all bad so after that dry break from the magician i don't think that was expecting to be back to the table quite so quick so foreign not an easy shot with the cue ball being so close to the side cushion he's missed it got second prize got the snooker young anton's going to be playing the cross and the jump bank not sure that was the right shot anyway hall of famer efren reyes at the table with a chance of his team again 12 10 up here i've made a bit of a mess of that efron first he got carlos straight and then carlo stretching hasn't got the cue ball where he'd like uh that's a good bit look from there from there he's nominated that pocket but he misters the bank terrible but flicked off the 10 and still goes in his designated pocket carl i just worried about scratching in the corner here it's hoping to avoid the little touch on the 10. wow and efren again misses another ball float this round two cushions don't bust to his side one of the best players at that type of shop buster so a bit of a scrappy rack this one between these four great in the end buster sinks the temple and after 22 racks we're tied at 11 racks each [Music] rat 23 francisco bustamante to break the match is tied at 11 a piece that's a dry break for buster hits him pretty well but no ball down it's been a pleasure for myself mark gray the granite to be touch always a pleasure watching the magician reyes play not been at his best in this match but always great to watch him 66 year old he still does himself in the game proud along with bustamante who's 57 now two great two hall of famers two world champions nicely played on the nine there from beardo just stuns the cue ball in round two cushions to bring the cue ball in the middle of the table for a nice easy temple and there we have it 12 11 reyes ambiardo 24 frack carlo beardo to break absolute lovely break there look at the cue ball control there wonderful break there from biardo just stops that cue ball in the middle of the table all the balls are in the open but it's not a foregone conclusion that they run this rack out from here nice shot for my friend the only problem with this shot is he's going away from the three so he's gonna have to hit this cue ball with quite a bit of pace screw it across the cushion and back for the three couldn't have played that any better it's been noticeable with their front anything that's been thin or anything from distance he certainly struggles with now so biardo's played that as good as he [Music] can lots of side in the cue ball there from the magician really turn around this match has as it's gone on nice shot for my friend there poised to go two racks up here for the first time in the match i think i always seem to have been playing catch-up in this match and now his temple for a 13-11 as efrain steers it in rack 25 here in kaizen city manila the dream match is coming to its latter stages in a thorough thoroughly enjoyable encounter nice shot on the one ball there from busty after rag is good break first glance everything is in the open here and it's a great chance to pull back to within one rack this is probably the main shot three to four buster's leaving the combat i think shouldn't be a problem nicely played good good control good speed control down the cue ball from busty he's got raga perfectly on the six just done the six in off the cushion same with the seven same shot as he just played on the six and this is how we like him in the pool world very nice break and run this one the way it's going you can see this going hill hill but steve they've got the temple for 13 12. rack 26 ephraim to break and he has been the weakest breaker so far and again it's dry need some luck first glance you may have cover on the one yep he's played the push out yeah i didn't like it too much so yeah let's put raga back in to play this superb shot that i'm very surprised biardo didn't play that shot the ardo is usually very good at kicking them off glancing them in very nicely played that you watch on your screen you think they're easy but and there's buster got him on it and he's hooked him i think jump shot again he hasn't been successful in his two other jump shots in this match so far sure where this is he's got to be able to stand before as well let's add some luck here i think he's angled on the pocket and obviously the nine ball it's a a big slice of look there for raga and buster a crucial part of this match this is not an easy hit for uh the great man reyes i think the seven ball could be in his way a little bit very tough here sometimes when you snooze it's like you'd like to push a couple of balls together as well but you can't even do that from here so he's forced to try and hit this three is efrain tremendous hit need some luck that's a bit of magic there for my friend to hit that that was a very tough shot very good reply from buster these two greats trained a couple of great safety shots there gonna be tough for beardo to get this safe clever shot good little tactical exchange going on here raga kicked a one ball in a little bit like this earlier in the rack this is a lot tougher yeah just concentrating on getting safe not leave a pot on been a great event this has here in the philippines manila kaizen city not been there to play pool personally for a long while since the last time we had the world temble championships there it's a shame because it's a great place to go and play pool very good shot from efren there showing his knowledge great a it's not a straightforward shot to get on the fireball here from the four so lots of side there from ephraim as well not quite got this cue ball in control yet in this rack and they still lost the keyboard the ardo can't believe what he's played there and our friends lost the cue ball [Laughter] wow there's a comedy of everest here at last a great shot there from beardo gets them in perfect position straight in temple to go two up with three to play 14 12. so wrap 27 and efron and carlo will be hoping this is the last rack buster with a break bowl down not perfect on the one ball though nice safety from raga so an easy shot here for efron so he's chose to tie balls up as he got there you would have just like that three to rolled another inch or two onto the eight ball so so let's see if efrain got the three tied up like you wanted or i'll soon find out how raga plays this shot it was paid to move and i don't think he's been very lucky so buster thinks he can see it yeah you could see it has to hit a cushion and has done about as well as he could there i think biando plays the kick shot not had a bad result covered one side of the three it's called the bank i think two-way shot maybe wow what a great shot what a brilliant shot there from young raga as soon as you hit it you knew it was in good shot from buster and here we are in the 27th rack and they're trying to keep this win the rack it's got mind your work here a little bit you could play this two ways either top it in or screw the cue ball back he's topping it and he's played it lovely very good shot so bustamante the one ball efrain having a good think about this chose the safety and he's hit the womble far too thick got the cube all where he wanted but he didn't mean to bring the one ball down this is a tough shot though but you just feel raga the way he's played this match it must be tough for him because he's obviously the not so well-known player out before but he's put in a great performance and look not a very nice position to be in what does he do he has to play a push out but again he doesn't want to push out to where his opponents are going to just put him into trouble but then he doesn't want to be leaving a bank yeah push out is don't want to leave a pot on the two didn't take them long they've come straight back the only shot i can see here is hitting this thin and the cue ball up and down the table safety never a nice position this and a hill hill it's not an easy safety but you want to you want to play a telling safety shot they're having a giggle bust is not sure you got the guy of 57 years old all the experience under the sun and you've got the 23 year old raga telling him hmm it must be tough they're taking a long while on this shot one one more mistake and it could be the last mistake he's tried a clever shot there buster maybe he tried to be too clever he tried to send the two round the angles screw the cue ball across the side cushion in behind the four and got the double kiss was a little bit unlucky but it was always on reyes thinks he'll let the junior player play this shot the younger eyes beardo 29 years junior to efron let's see how he plays this tough shot great shot very good shot now it looks about it's all about the eight ball now this rack doesn't go past the 10 into the corner oh he only just made that not easy to get on the seven from this six girl i just show him where he wanted the cue ball oh little nudge wow if he's played that that is a truly brilliant shot but hand on heart i'm not convinced he's played that because now the eight ball goes clear past the 10 in the corner maybe a fraction awkward cueing for reyes they're laughing there's a bit of body movement again another thin cut for carli great shot great shot used all the
