2021 Heartland Sundance 265BH- review

hi thanks for joining i'm neil with arcane trailer uh we're gonna go through the sundance 265 bh this is the new 2021 and i'm going to show you some of the new features that they did this year as well as some of the timeless qualities that sundance has always done in their build so starting right at the front nice new graphics on this molded fiberglass cap strip of led lights down the cap of course you've got your rock guard the last quarter down uh two 20 pound propane tanks with an auto changeover regulator this has the power power tongue jack on the front really easy to get on and off your truck and to level your trailer north south as well it has a light on it come around the side i want to show you some of the things that sundance do best this is a thick 1 inch thick compartment door featuring the slam latch as well as the magnet catch in the pass-through storage they keep it nice and neat it's large enough to fit your chairs or any other camping things go in there and it's illuminated with led lights those lights are also on sensors so they turn on and off part of the power pack on the sundance are four stabilizer jacks that are power they come down to the touch of a button the two in the front are controlled with a button the two in the back are controlled with a separate button this is a true laminated hard wall so it's a fiberglass exterior it has aluminum frame in it and a block foam insulation for the core of the wall but it has no wood in their wall at all they use a composite material called asdale asdale of course being no wood isn't prone to any moisture damage but it also increases the r value it is lighter weight and uh better for sound proofing as well asdale in the wall see the power awning controlled by switch inside it's a second generation power awning which means you can adjust the tilt or the pitch depending on where you wanted the water to flow and it comes out a total of eight feet it also has a strip of blue led light down the length of the trailer it's attached to the trailer not the end of the roller tube so it works even when your awning's in that's a big deal and outside speakers the outside speakers are controlled by your phone it's all bluetooth with the entertainment center inside this trailer also has an outside kitchen the outside kitchen is features um an actual sink not all of them do these days so it's plumbed with hot and cold and then a two burner stove this stove has a quick connect that goes to your front propane tanks so you don't have to carry any more propane tanks with you this runs off the trailers and then of course it's got a 110 volt fridge as well come on the back i want to show you here just a couple things that sundance does one they're prepped for a backup camera so up there you see the housing that's pre-wired and has the housing already in there for a furion backup camera it's gonna save you some labor if you do choose to go with a backup camera with your trailer of course our traders come all of our trailers come with a full size spare no extra charge let's go inside one of i think the most important features on in the sundance and maybe it's because i'm a fairly tall guy when i stand up straight it's the barrelled ceiling so this is awesome it's a six nine ceiling and feels more like a fifth wheel when you're in it it's just the higher profile feel to it so have a look around at this floor plan you got double over double bunks in the back panned to the kitchen with some extra counter space a large bank of drawers these drawers are residential quality they have the full extension to them they've got the metal drawer glide with the ball bearings in them in and out nice and smooth they do connect nicely so they don't open in transit easy to use and then full size stainless steel sink as well this bunk model is a little bit different than other ones in that it has a smaller slide to keep the weight down the slide has a booth on it folds down to a bed of course an eight cubic foot two way reefer works off of propane or 110 volt power but then it also features a couch the couch is a tri-fold sofa it can also be folded into a bed the nice thing about this trailer just the way it's configured for social sitting situations if you were in here with another couple maybe there was four or six of you in here you could comfortably sit have a conversation or if you wanted to you could watch tv this is the entertainment center a great location for it on the entertainment center you've got your furion entertainment as well as your monitor panel and other systems including a battery disconnect let's go into the master bedroom so this is a true queen bed it's a 60 by 80 residential size mattress on both sides of the bed you have a full wardrobe closet as well as a counter for anything you want to put down there and a plug and your own reading lights these lights have a couple of different settings to them just the backlit or the led reading light lots of storage above as well you know little things that sundance do if you notice this is a the gas strut that holds this door open you might not notice it until that first time you're trying to put something in there and working your elbow like this and trying to hold it up so this is a nice little ad add that sundance does [Music] also on the blinds these are mcd roller blinds so instead of the usual pleated or venetian mini blinds these rollers are a lot easier to work there are just a few other things i want to show you on the outside so this is super important i didn't want to miss uh they use the solid steps on the sundances so it's a lot more safe than the traditional fold out metal steps it's great especially on a bunk if you've got the small kids going in out of the trailer and then the friction hinge door the friction hinge door is purposely stiff so that wherever you set it it can stay there's a couple other things on this side come on so on the back side of the trailer you've got your main plug this is a marine style twist and lock 30 amp 25 foot cord detachable cord and the cable in the satellite connection if the campsite offers those coax connections and then this is a spray port so you got a quick connect here we give you a little hose that comes with the trailer it's on this side of the campground strategically so if you ever did want to spray off the kids hose down the dog or use it it would make it muddy over here not on your campground and then it also has the citywalk connection and the black tank sani flush the blacktake sani flush is an upgraded feature uh not on every trailer what it is is it's a fresh water connection that sprays directly into your black tank and cleans off all the probes whether you use it every time you're dumping or just at the end of the season it's a great little advantage this has been neil with arcane trailer and the 2021 sundance 265 bh
