2021 CVO TriGlide, Sunset Orange | Introductions/Features | Twins' Ride Through - Summerville SC

today is the day that i am going to introduce my new trike to melinda and hopefully talk her into going for a ride with me so stay tuned as i will also be sharing some of the features of this beautiful sunset orange and black 2021 cbo tri-glide all right let's go load her up braid my hair and get on the road [Music] told me they were bringing their bike today i probably could have been ready [Music] and i'm ready to go she's beautiful i would love to point out some of the features of this 2021 cbo tri triglide let's start by explaining what cvo stands for you will see cvo in several places on the trike here at the trunk on the gas cap and when you turn the trike on cvo stands for custom vehicle operations in other words it is a motorcycle that comes with many custom features accessories infotainment and performance systems first the accessories that are included with the cvos it is premium cbo only paints and finishes there are two premium colors for this year's tri-glides one is charred crimson the other sunset orange with sunset black i of course chose the sunset orange with sunset black it is a beautiful red color now if you look closer just like a gorgeous sunset it appears at times orange a light red and sometimes a dark red it sparkles brilliantly in the sun even the black if you hold a light up to it close it appears purple and has specks that shine in the sunlight then looking at the accessories now i loved my black handle bars on my blue trike but i absolutely love how the chrome finishes the chrome handlebars and some of the other accessories shine in the sun and look brilliant next to this beautiful red paint job other accessories that are included with cvo include fork mounted fairing and low profile windshield led headlights and passing lamps heated hand grips comfortable heated seats with removable high backrest love this there are custom footboards front tour pegs air cover exhaust pipes mirrors there are midpoint foot controls and a custom luggage rack it has smoked lens tail lights and turn lights and something i really like are the tomahawk contrast cut wheels finally one of the key accessories for me that i really love is the remote lock and unlock of the trunk and the tour pack no more getting on the bike and wondering if i locked the compartments in the tour pack there's also a place to charge your phone the only thing i had to do after i bought this trike is to change out the handlebars i don't know if the handlebars that came on the trike were either eights or tens but they seemed to be too low for me i had size 14 bars on my other trike so i put 12's on this trike and they work now looking at the performance and handling this cbo has a milwaukee 8 117 twin cooled engine this is the most powerful twin-cooled v-twin engine ever offered from the harley-davidson factory and it is only available in cvo models there is also a reflex defense rider system this allows for better braking power train accelerating and handling of the trike under adverse road conditions and then finally there's a high performance touring suspension by stretching out the front by giving it a longer rake on the forks and by raising the back up for of about an inch they have truly made this cvo handle so much better than earlier trikes now i was skeptical when they told me this at first but not now it turns and handles like a dream so much better than my 2017 trike did now finally for those into technology we cannot forget the infotainment features of the cvo it has an iboom system this iboom system has audio 30k bluetooth helmet headset which connects via bluetooth interface with the boom box gts informatics systems and eliminates fussing with cords and has many entertainment and navigation system features i will go into that more in another video once i have had time to play around with it and do some education on that beautiful that color is you and i can see why you picked her out very sophisticated looking but i have to ask why i know you loved blue girl why did you feel the need to trade her in i always said if the right bike came up i would consider trading in and i was at the harley shop about three or four weeks ago now there was a poster that showed this beautiful red triglide it was bittersweet for me to get rid of blue girl in 2013 my husband had a bus pull out in front of him we decided we probably wouldn't ride again until 2017 we were in the harley shop one day and my husband said we could do a try and i got to thinking about it and i'm thinking okay let's do it so we purchased blue girl in 2017 in 2017 brand new he put about 4 500 miles on it got his comfort level back and he said he wanted to go back to two wheels i said okay give me the trike because i'm not going back to two wheels so you're looking at about 25 000 miles on the bike not all of them are mine that was a deciding factor for me the red color and i want this bike to be 100 all my miles that's why okay well nice ride i'm looking forward to being a part of it am i your first passenger you're gonna be my first passenger it's getting hot out here let's go for a ride remember how to do this oh that was simple pull it forward yep you do that so much more fluidly and easily all right turning it on it shows a cvo it's locked i'm gonna unlock it and i'm ready to put it in neutral [Music] ready is that an okay way of getting off the bike yeah oh my goodness oh my gosh it's so pretty i didn't even know it was like sparkly like that don't touch a painting no i will not it's so pretty [Music] all right we made it yes so what do you think i like it it does have definitely have a smoother ride i still felt like i was flying off the side when i turned my corner when you turn the corner i don't think there's i think that's just the law of thermodynamics your inertia whatever you call it there's no changing that and i think of stink you're just gonna have to ride more and
