all right ladies and gentlemen here we go it is 20 21 and we are back at the triple crown series on the screen right now you can see the 250 moto number one about to go live here and drop in the gate on a brand new season ryan gold and kyle thompson in the booth buddy we are back we got fans we got green grass we got sun sunny skies and we got the beautiful walton scenery to set the tone here for 2021. this is uh starting off with a bang we got a big weekend ahead of us and this is just first moto and man the first moto is gets you that little jitters it's going to be nerve-wracking for you guys i'm nervous for them are you i'm nervous there's a lot of people out there well we're going to have a new champion in this 250 class so there's going to be some jitters to get that first blow and try to get that first win we just missed this great shot of one of our young pilots taking a wee wee before the start of the race so the jitters are not just within you right now the 2021 season kicking off so yeah as you just stated a brand new champion no matter what that we can't give it away we can't pay somebody it is guaranteed a new number one played here in the triple crown series but who is going to be taking it tanner ward the only one that's ever won that overall and then haunted canada gdr his teammate ryder mcnabb fastest in qualifying today here in this 250 class but sinai canela gainer so many guys out there and of course piccolo he was awesome practice today goldie he looks super strong the only concern that we always have with piccolo is staying off the ground and can he do it and uh this obviously brought to you guys by parts canada they support the sport support them but uh this the reps are getting up here goldie boys are getting fired up man i always remembered our first time doing the national you said you get excited there's the point the strongest arm in the business right now daryl murphy right now i think he did some shoulder work he did he did he really yeah yeah he had some doctors actually look at it make sure there's no damage yeah yeah he's good to go there it is right there catching one guy oh i think one guy just popped look at quinn amy on right now looks i swear i think i saw his whole shot device just popped right now it is look at how much higher the fender so quinn having a bit of oh did he get in on his own hey nice job i haven't seen many guys well that's impressive how did you think you could do that yeah i i could never do that on my own no i need daryl's shoulders but here we go the first world distributing.com hole shot of the year and 41 riders on the gate here in total mcnabb like i said got that hot lap got the fastest qualifier now but it really is anybody's game like you can't nobody can pick i i feel like who gets that start is going to get here the track not super rough it's kind of got a bit of a uh going to go anywhere like maybe 90s style wall right you got a lot of opportunity to make possible later in the day gold usually in the morning uh when the dirt's deep and it's wet it gets rutted but right now they're gonna be able to move around on this track a lot compared to the past races we've had here all right 30 borders to the sky a kinga the man from rorton england he has been knighted he is part of the queen he knows everybody over there and it's not just football it is motocross here the best part of the sport is about to happen you listen to the boys you get that quiet calmness over the gate and then boom the revs start to rise 20 20 20 20 21 triple crown series about to go who's going to get that roller distributor.com host john the gate is down kyle middle of the gate up the inside looks like a honda rider is that the eight there who is that got the lead right there is that the 42 yes keenan peterson wow keenan peterson out to the lead the privateer rider out of east side ontario grabbing that early but already trying to make a stop tanner while we're trying to make that move kyle yeah so tanner ward jumping around the outside trying to get around peterson and he does and ward the first guys out there to make a blow it looks like mcnabb back in the pack makai and canelo way buried just taking ella gainer there so these sam gainer real bad start at the back of the pack here but look at this haunted canada gtr fox right now leading the way tanner ward he loves this place we heard a really interesting story about how he was almost born on the property or so lead away here's our old finish line right here the old dave bell stepped down right now look at that this is [Music] in there you're going to find that number 84. [Music] as he gets out front early look at these guys coming to the rollers and look at sinai trying to hunt down ward already there goldie but uh looks like a lot of these fast guys is that crate is that who that is that is great but yeah we have crate in there and then piccolo so look at this piccolo off to a good start he is this dark horse sort of kind of waiting to see if this kid can blossom a lot of guys people that you wouldn't think pick him they got him as the hot shot the one that could maybe pull it together this year so right now sitting in that top five spot sky racing ktm yeah very cool sky racing got a couple different brands under the hood there here we go the first lap of 2021 in the books here for the triple crown series and haunted canada gtr fox rider chain award dot that uh pass made that pass on keenan peterson kyle sinai already dogging him tonight 2015 he was here he got himself a 4-4 finisher fourth overall he knows this place and like he said in our little interviews when we were talking he's comfy he can fit in anywhere yeah he's uh he spent some time up here the last few days and uh getting used to some of these canadian tracks and he looks good out here today and putting himself in a great position and you gotta think a man in his position he wants to attack now he's got a little bit of that [Music] that's not brand new but randy [Music] uh you gotta thank taylor what we knew he came in hurt his knee had actually a local race of mine a few weeks ago there we were kind of wondering what's happened but once you get that start right you get the blood flowing it that that pain probably goes away he's gonna fire it here i got to feel good if tanner could stay in this position maybe even pull up a podium that's going to make a a real good confidence drive for this series oh yeah i feel like tanner if he gets this win or a second here with sinai pressuring him early he's going to be happy that's the kickstart he needed we're going to have to keep an eye on where canelo is because canelo was buried in the pack and he was a favorite coming in and uh yeah definitely wanting to win that all right ward and sinai down into the old apple orchard right now sitting in that third spot still keenan peterson jacob piccolo fourth william craig there's ryder mcnabb sitting in that sixth position off to a way better start looking to try to make a move then it is uh casey keith jamie powell and there's canelo canela inside the top ten out there as well the 39 ride there battling up and then the 13. jeremy mckay davey frazier still sitting right there davey frazier balling in and uh zach uses that kyle king quinn amy right there rounding up inside that top 20. back to that lead pack there trying to give a bit of a rundown canelo got a good start as well so is the motto can he pull in here how can he make it because it looks like passing might be a bit difficult right now kyle yeah pass it's gonna be tough it's a bit one line being late in the day like we talked about it's really hard packed we've got to move around a bit but there's only one funnel in the inside so let's put a track through to keep killing up during the day and it's going to make more lines let's go on we're back here two days from now [Music] again right here this is a very technical section i don't think in the background you got canelo and mcnabb trying to make moves right now and pushing in that experience kind of kicking in and this is where we're trying to see mcnabb if he can get that early crazy speed that we know he has because remember last year kyle he was the fastest on several last laps of a lot of motors which is insane for a young 14 year old at the time great shot of piccolo coming in he got around peterson but look at that there is the young buck himself ryder mcnabb making a move up there goldie look at mcnabb he is charging so nasty right here he's going to come across get that pit by pit board by our buddy ryan loch right now measuring right there but gotta love what's going on with keenan peterson i'm so stoked on this kid always kind of coming out of the the bottom of the barrel if you'll beat up bikes or something like this kid gets a good start he can say look at this though mike by us here kyle could i make the move side by side come up with that finish line tonight getting that scrub action going on the team green rider wants to make it happen now we're starting to approach kind of getting into that sort of first third of the race gone he wants to make that pass oh look at that scrub kyle that's awesome a great shot there and tonight he's got a great background in racing a lot of gps look at this gold he's going to make that move oh great defense by tanner ward cutting the line off right there tonight around the outside right does he got the drive honda power cali power making the move tanner water on the outside right now tonight gonna block it side by side double strokes what a pass there good line by sniper outside but look at who's coming in the shadows there it's jacob piccolo and you gotta wonder you know what darius tonight probably has zero food he fights look at this he caught one battle to kick off the triple ground series here in 2021. tanner ward is all fight all heart he's got a knee injury coming in with the haunted candidates [Music] all right [Music] we got a couple of boss cats up right now all the top dogs were only missing canela out of that sort of lead straight that we were talking about earlier but we got a red bike we got a green bike we got a uh ktm and then another red bike right here lots of manufacturing power going on but the 84 is in control yeah so the 84 taking back over that lead impressive move by tanner ward and now sinai just try to go and attack again here as he goes down that horsepower straight away lots of speed down there and look at piccolo oh my god look at this one two three four as the old boys used to say he could throw a blanket over him they're coming right beside us in the booth here ward again look at he's trying to think of those outside the sinai looks like he can he's making a lot more work right now and uh he's looks like he's finding a little i don't know if it's smoother or just getting that torque down there but snyde looks like he's definitely the man to make this pass but worthy looking good yeah just coming by the stripe there it's uh marco canelo so he's back in sixth place so another title contender look at this now piccolo trying to drive up that inside there look at this whoa piccolo three abreast heading up into the old step down right now tanner ward has got a rear view mirror full of the younger in here this is unbelievable the first photo lives right here this is exactly where we scripted up and these honda's kind of sandwiched that ktm and the cali in the middle and you know what you've got to think he's got the best runner he's got to go anywhere [Music] what's happening behind me it's just a bunch of pleasant pieces happening [Music] marco canela could make up as he just went by that off-camera section all right one two three four mcdonald now look at that just the back end maybe making a stab at piccolo and then look at this word kind of pulls it out just that little bit right there so ward definitely got some fight in him right there and you got to think too now that war wars held tonight off he's probably getting a little bit frustrated yeah and also you got to watch mistakes here these guys are all pushing the same pace here mistakes are going to be maximized when it's like this big time okay mcnab and piccolo both uh barely of age to even get into the quebec province right now but then now look at this sinai already back up on the rear end of tanner ward channel ward having an absolute beauty of a race right now but you gotta think it's almost buying time right now it looks like these guys behind them are going that much faster and sinai is probably the most apparent here he goes up the inside again kyle ray says he got it drag race to the finish there and it is tanner ward leading another lap here he's uh putting uh some laps in the books as the leader but he has got some heat look at this piccolo off the inside of tonight and mcnabb look at this kyle three wide wow three wide over that step up here we go mcnab he's got one wow zaps and i there absolutely insane three corners right there kyle ward doesn't have a clue what's going on sinai loses to pick the little picks up one mcnab grabs one the boys are pushing hard now but it's the teeny bombers the teenagers right now pushing the envelope and trying to move it in and mcnabb looking he's doing so much different than everybody else at their mcnabbing on the the three guys leaving right now goldie a lot of experience in this cracks tonight the least amount he's only had that one time in 2015 where he showed up these guys have put many laps here at the trans can yeah they put the laptop right now amateur and we just got word there too with just spot canelo now up into that fifth spot so maybe canelo can start moving up on this package make it a five feet but he these guys are we looking out on the outside kyle loves seeing and switching up the lines yeah so canelo putting himself behind that eight ball but he's slowly moving back up here's the pass around the outside not enough wow carrying that speed looking that momentum right now trying to make a move mcnabb all over the track and look at this piccolo now start gotta make today what a way to start off the 21 season here for the triple crown series as the boys here in the 250 class are giving us something to scream about warty piccolo mcnabb and sanai one two three and four kyle yeah these guys are going they're pushing the pace they're dropping tonight just to smit jerry's a second back and it's just the pace of piccolo and uh ryder mcnabb right now is next level marco canelo slowly creeping back up in this picture he's going to catch these guys very soon you got to think maybe said i get like i said i'm not frustrated but maybe fell into that pace that ward had he got kind of stuck his lines weren't making working right now so now he's kind of stunned it's soaking it all in but look at this the kids are all over the back of warning right now mcnabb he's looking like it's happening piccolo he's going in the middle of the rest ward's on the inside mcnabb on the outside this is amazing right now start off this season it's anybody's game right now all these riders having a great start to the season right here who wants to bring home that all-important first win such a confidence builder yeah you've got to get that first good moto under your belt and then everything comes from there so look at ward spot runner mcnabb the 15 year old honda canada gdr fox getting in that so we got one two on the ride red machines here piccolo on the orange brigade and then the team green is tonight right now in that four spot i'd like to say i want to show some more races in this race but what a battle we got going on to kick off the season right here wardy mcnabb and piccolo and i bet you piccolo's not happy seeing mcnabb and ward he's going to look behind her now he's like oh it's my teammate but he's also not happy look i'm gonna have outside again look at that he's working these outsides everywhere goldie and they're they're panning out for him look at this now ward to the outside of mcnabb inside what a pass open up all right so ryder mcnabb to the lead right now on the one or sorry the 18 i was gonna say the one six four that's his amateur number right now and already stretching at a couple bike lengths piccolo there and look at this and i kind of fallen back just a little bit just a little bit now piccolo needs to follow suit here because ryder mcnabb has the pace to get away look at he's already dropped ward he's got two seconds already wow manitoba zone right now leading the way out here look at that we got the halfway board just came out so canelo there he's mere seconds away and he's going to be right up in the back end up the inside piccolo pushing his way into that second position right there that is an aggressive move making the experience writer of ward get out of the way i'm coming through the freight train of piccolo was moving forward yeah so piccolo up in that second spot and he's looking strong but now he's got to make up a little bit of time with ryder mcnabb getting away when you lose touch there goldie it just makes it that much more a challenge to get up there and make a pass all right so mcnabb up in the lead starting to really cruise there already got himself probably a two or three second gap on the rest of the pack here looking to see if piccolo but you got to thank the man on the move right now marco canela got himself kind of a slow start here but he's just picking away picking away and he signed he's starting to find his way into the back of our picture here i'd say another lapis a lap or so darius and i better not look in that rearview mirror no he's going to have a full beer full of the number 46 very close there as you see the honda rider and it looks like now piccolo is starting to find some pace he's not too far off there mcnabb mcnabb running a strong race there's plenty right on the rear wheel of tsunai right now now right behind carson racing mx mx101 fxr yamaha right there of canelo really starting to move in but mcnabb this kid knows this track he loves this track he's got a lot of stuff on the back of his shoulder he's kind of carrying the way to canada if you will and man has he ever proven right here that he doesn't mind lifting weights no not at all and he's out here first time leading a national and he did it the hard way goldie a lot of guys get a hole shot and do it he's out here lead the way he came from about seven or eight you can see just ahead of that there and then he pulled away just a couple seconds behind this battle you got it sorry canelo just made the pass on sinai and he is already up on the back end of ward as well so marco canelo the fastest rider on track right now yeah by far the fastest rider the number 46 mx 101 carlson racing back yamaha and those guys are going to town here that he has come from way back here to put himself into position to be a podium threat possibly for the win pretty wild that the 18 channel award 18 last year and uh ryder mcnabb 18 this year i wonder if you dig save on graphics big time savings and don't adjust your screen at home it's ryder mcnabb he's taking over that number 18 and he's looking strong here one thing diggs isn't going to save and stays this way is contingency money because he's going to be paying it right now roger mcnabb up front sitting in that first position second spot is still the jacob the orange brigade there ktm sky racing of uh jacob piccolo third spot is still tanner ward but we know marco canelo is on the gas man and we have seen that kid cut some of the most unbelievable laughs at this place and it looks like he's found that inside again right now right now it's a battle of who's got the most amateur championships here marco canelo jacob pickel tanner ward and ryder mcnabb all plenty of amateur titles here and look at this top four wow here we go look at that mcdowell blue flags waving right there there's a race going on and you are not in it out there and mcnabb in total control man he looking experienced he's looking smart he's carrying so much speed get a shot back in that back there soon hopefully you see where that marco canela battle is and going on but mcnabb is in control right now and pulling away through that rocker section no problem honda canada gdr fox to the lead sky racing has made the move marco canelo has made the move on tanner wow now in third position and he is looking to track down the number 30 right here of jacob piccolo wow and he is not far behind he's got to make up probably i'd say about six six six maybe seven seconds so he's still got time we just hit the halfway point just a couple laps ago he's still got time to make it happen out here and uh i i would be hard to say to argue against the speed that he's carrying right now seems unbelievable yeah there's a great shot there you see uh tanner ward just behind marco canelo so tanner ward your early leader has now dropped back to fourth as well as tonight had to leave there for a brief moment he has dropped back to fifth place so those guys just a little bit off pace here from the mcnabb oh and she's seen a crash here oh darius snyde all the way back to that fifth spot as we're looking at our leaders here we'll do a little rain down william crait up into that sixth position great job by that local quebec racer seven spot casey keith's eighth spot jeremy makai right now the 39 machine kyle who's that 39 machine on our sheet you know daniel elmore ah elmo right there and then the fifth right there that's bennick right julian benning so there's your top ten and then keenan peterson after let's start that's the 11th position shane gainer after holber start now up into that 12th position and then davey frazier still rounded out inside the top 15. back to that lead pack giving you a little bit of update mcnabb there sorry that's word right there so we got canelo just in front of him he's got through the lavender that laffer trying to do a good job they're getting out of the way there's eve brodur number 72 our wmx 17 time champion whatever it is championships there tanner ward working his way through some lappers here after that good start early on he is now drawn back and sitting in that four spots i think the battle but we got to keep an eye on here is between the 30 and the 46 and there it is carson racing mx101 fxr yamaha right now rockstar supported marco cannella man he is carrying speed he's wheeling those whoops just rolling through right now so mcnabb is kind of coming into our area right now where we are here in the tv booth as canelo at the top of the straightaway looks to be almost the same now about a lot there so it doesn't look like he gained much time on that last lap so we're kind of getting right down to the end of this thing ryder mcnabb gonna score a moto win at the very first moto of the season like yeah i guess we can expect that but did we expect that no we can't expect that this guy on screen right here he was a heavy favorite coming in marco canella and right now sitting in third spot from where he came from he's got to be happy with it but he's not going to be satisfied and uh right he's about two three seconds down from jacob piccolo i think if he can get up to uh up into that second spot he'd be happy that would make him feel good for sure on a podium though has got to feel good to start the season right as they say a two's as good as the one even a three sometimes can be as good as the one out there as we kick off here after the 2021 treble crown racing series once again ryan gold and kyle thompson in the booth we are so happy to be bringing you racing once again here 25 capacity we got fans we got people cheering on you can even see in the background some of the people they're crossing the fence we're not knocking them right now but maybe later on we're not allowed to have that happen but we're so excited to have our wonderful canadian race fans up here and it's so good to see it they're probably cheering this guy on here on that yamaha marco canelo having a great ride came from probably around 10th or 11th spot so great to see canela he belongs in the front he's got a podium every single moto but if a guy like that frustrate him where do you stand if you're marco canelo and mcnabb brings home this win which is his team's got to take him back and say hey you started here you ended up here look at these lap times you got the pace to win let's go back out there and do it again and get out front early that start that start killed him right now i wonder where his start position we didn't get to see actually where he was on that gate maybe he just didn't get the jump because it's a bit of a sweeping turn so a lot of guys the guys that don't get that good stuff they should go that inside line and it might have been there but regardless it did not bite this young kid right here he started around seventh spot and he has picked his way through past all his toughest competition other than marco cannot because he was behind him but ryder mcnabb right now coming through still a few more laps to go here in motor number one 15 years old i'll tell you what when i was 15 i i led to motors here at transcan but i'll tell you i didn't bring one home this is feeling good this has got to feel good he is doing it all here he came from about seventh or eighth he's leading the way as he makes his way back to the double tunnel jump there and just looking strong and you can see his style he's got an unorthodox style as he comes into the corners turns the body a little bit as he's breaking but man he makes it work he looks great out here oh ryder mcnabb right there on screen sitting in that number one position honda canada to gdr fox ride looking to bring home motorhome one as exciting it was say what i don't know 10 minutes ago now it's kind of somber down everybody sort of found their role the only man selling the move was canelo but he didn't chip away he probably took about a second out of piccolo's second spot right there but mcnabb piccolo cadella i don't know if i had him in that order but i had cadella as my pick today i thought that was good i feel pretty good about that but man i tell you it's so impressive to see someone that young like that because you know it's hard to feel good when you're out when you're you know young you just know where you fit you're kind of nervous you're not sure about that you know girls are looking at you you're not sure what's going on so that's very cool to see yeah man he just threw a nice whip off that tunnel jump there he's feeling the flow he's in his backyard right now he's loving his track he's hitting his marks and man like look at his outside lines everywhere just whoa three and three three into that wow he can't put that bike in a bad spot wow him and that 250f tuned by the noof are gelling well right now here in moto number one and we're looking behind us who's looking at the finish line here i gotta feel we're coming down to two laps to go here soon and this kid is in total control he is dogging everybody and he just continues to pull away yeah he's not the guys aren't gaining on him he's not getting nervous or frustrated like i truly believe he probably doesn't even know what's going on right now he's just riding his dirt bike just riding his dirt bike riding his dirt bike having fun just being a kid and that's what it's all about maybe uh four seconds or something like that right now with that battle so canelo is still pushing right to the end and you know canelo is in great shape so that's not going to affect him at all he's going to go right to the end piccolo last year is where we solved speed was not the problem it was always kind of hanging in towards the end of that moto this is going to be a proof right now to showcase that he's been putting that working down at club mx the biggest thing about it right now everybody's feeling pretty good it's cool out it's not that hot it's not going to drain you that side of things and the tracks relatively smooth early on here and these guys just able to push the full 30 minutes without phase all right on screen one more time ryder mcnabb in total control of moto number one here in the 2021 season for the triple crown series walton won we started here friday and the boys are going to do it again format 350 minute moto's starts were a bit of an issue for young mcnabb last year but he already moved himself in so this 15-minute motor thing doesn't look like it might bite him in the butt as far as the starts go no no he looks like it's his starts are better and he was in that lead battle right around that halfway mark in this moto goes and his starts are going to come with confidence keeper where the finish line meet or sorry the start line meets the track out there looking good on that ride trying to bring home moto number one and uh looking at our finish line just behind us up here in the booth right now to see where it is there's a shot of darius tonight sinai early on looked like he was going to take a stab at that lead and then all of a sudden just kind of fizzled out there kyle yeah big time fizzled out he had to leave for a brief moment there and then it just was like overwhelming ward got him back and uh mcnabb went by piccolo now canela now that lead that piccolo had over canelo getting closer there for that time looks like he's gaining a little bit right there we get a shot of that 46 carson racing yamaha chasing on the 30. it's looking like he's kind of gaining a smidge and then all of a sudden it doesn't kind of think so they're kind of teeter-tottering back and forth but back to the thor pro circuit kawasaki hubert motorsports darius tsania is this going to be a uh a good motor for this class um some of the guys that are in it are going better and now i think that it could go the other way also because they could be like trying to step up this year but yeah i guess we're going to find out uh that that cowie seems strong here a couple of american guys and they're going to try to make it happen but first moto a little bit of a fade he's going to try to work his way back up in that second motor trying to get all right we are starting to get down to the brass tacks of this motor here only a few laps to go for ryden mcnabb darius and i still in that first position there we are back up to tanner ward who is in that fifth position i believe right now story fourth that's right my volunteer ward in that fourth position and darius tonight so tayden ward really smoking out of that gate they're getting that pass on key to piercing right away we grab that road of scripting.com hole shot but uh if you're worried are you happy are you upset how does this one feel kyle i don't know where he's sitting that mentally but i wouldn't be happy getting his stiffness competition just blowing his doors off there midway i know he's dealing with an injury but i know tanner ward he's not happy two lap board about to come out for our leader here we're looking at fourth place on screen right now two lap board just came out as ryder mcnabb hits that finish line one more time we got that battle the 30 and the 46 starting to heat up ahead ahead of this young rider right here tayden ward on the 84 sitting in that four spot haunted canada gdr fox you got to feel good about that two weeks ago both his riders had a big get off at our local freezing race they come in here kind of kind of hurt a little bit under the weather so that's sitting one and four that's got to feel good for derek schuster yeah he's got to be happy and just what these riders did even in qualifying we know dylan wright's coming up next there the fastest guy by far this team is so strong right now they're looking for pete and they're looking to get that 250 title back oh the 250 title looking good here and motor number one so tanner ward still on screen right now sitting in that fourth spot right now we got a lap and a half to go for ryder mcnabb the number 18 and uh we got a shot of this kid once again you know talking about him at 15 years old out of manitoba father paralyzed in an accident just before he was born out there they've traveled the world they put all their eggs everything they bone in this basket and i would have to say that if this moment comes through here in a while and a half the basket paid off good it is paying off and uh last year being an intermediate rider he was up there he had some good finishes but nothing compared to this right now the young 15 year old you know we've seen other riders like him you know colt basciati started at a young age but nothing like this this is just an awesome ride out of the number 18 of ryder mcnabb all right so ryder mcnabb looking good right now down the street getting one more board from ryan lockhart just about a little overlapping what do you think ryan larcar's putting on the board just probably giving him uh you know his gaps you know plus this plus that maybe some lap times but just behind him it looks like marco canela making that charge just off camera so as they come by us it's within a second there for second place nav over that finish line wow one lap to go we got a heated battle between the 46 and the 30. we got to get the cameras over on theirs boys mcnabb leading the way right now no problem but the battle is the 46 and the 30. they are hot to trot with a lot to go here kyle and you know it sucks to be the guy in the lead in that position just and canelo knows this place like the back of the head he's probably got something up his sleeve yeah and especially getting that two in this first moto is as good as a one goldie so he knows he came off a bad start puts himself in a good position he can get the overall today all home moto number one in the 2021 triple crown series on that haunted candidate gdr fox ride i wonder if he'll be surprised we know we put some work in but i mean at 15 years old how much work do you really need to do like you know he's in great shape he still lives on coca-cola and craft dinner unsure you know that kind of thing but truly amazing to watch what's going on in front of our eyes right now yeah he makes those jumps look fun out there and he's just floating around like he has been since he got the lead he pulled away right away and he's just kind of made his pace here is that battle for second place look at that on screen so canelo right on the rear end of piccolo here with about a half a lot to go he's got to make it happen right now college he's going to try to make that pass there it is blazing through whoops great speed for canelo through those whoops he's right on the back end now wow good line there for canelo he's going to try to play the leg dragon kyle he is going for it only a few years ago the leader i'm taking the finish line right now canelo trying to make that passer on the outside look at the speed carrying the speed off the track right now checkered flag waving we're gonna get the tiger flag we missed the checkered flag we're watching this battle mcnabb has won his very first moto as a professional piccolo is going to hang on a second spot and canela into that third place ride what a finish what a way to start a brand new season here kyle mann you cannot script it any better than that that was an unreal ride there out of ryder mcnabb as well as marco cannella i feel like those two titans are going to go head to head here all year long tanner ward finishing up fourth there and darien sinai dropping back there he's going to finish fifth but a distant fifth year it was canada today celebrating our wonderful country right there and there's our man paul kingsey right there getting ready to turn that board sideways i do miss the girls but king here he does a good flip he does a good thing he's good at the floor i let him flip my omelette in the morning i'm all right with that i mean i'm just concerned about his knees out there you know he gets a little jacked up just make sure it's good he's been training he's ready to go we are getting ready to go ourselves up in the booth ryan cal thompson the five boarders aside we're going to get that calm a little bit of less noise and then the revs going to come up who's going to grab the royal shimmy.com hole shot hey the gate was down fast that time wow pettis got an unbelievable jump no problem at all the 15 gonna bring it home oh teammates there and yeah cole thompson ty schemko off to a great starter marshall welton right there inside that top five yeah so look at that welton getting a good start the two 250 guys they're sitting one and four right now and shemko the privateer rider another privateer coming out there looking strong there with the seated shore the number one in the fourth the number one ride already making a pass up in there right now as the rest of riders start stumbling by problem with the rider right in the middle of the track as they head up here right behind us here kyle devin ray stalled the bike he's off screen and back to the front right now it looks like cole thompson already trying to make a push and we know your little bro he likes this track too he has been a king of walt before grabbing that sword but it is scary to see the number one getting a start like this yeah the red plated number one there sitting just in behind the ktm duo he's gonna try to make short order of this we know he had the pace in practice he's gonna try to make a pass early and get away all right so leading the pack right now ktm red bull factory thor racing jess pettis two-time canadian champ up on that 450. in that second spot his teammate the number 16 on that same machine they are running one and two it is an orange brigade up in front but in the back there it is that red-plated red bike honda candidate gdr fox ride of dylan right and you know he's going to try to make moves fast and no love lost between these guys as well i think that stuff is probably better they're a lot older now but cole thompson and dylan wright they have had some die hard battles over the years yeah many battles between the the number one and the number 16 over the years looking welt there into that fourth spot and another ktm guy he's the b squad there tim tremblay sitting in that fifth spot tim bit as they like to call him the nickname timid so he's doing good up there so right into that third spot welton and then we got uh trombley like you said and then logan lights on the tld gas cast ride he got himself off to a great start that inside gate can really work out for you if you just get that jump and play it safe yeah you gotta get that jump or it can really pinch you into quick but jess pettis made it work the prince george bc native finds himself in a very comfortable spot here many laps led here at walton transcend and the track right now we kind of saw it's very fast in that 250 cloud so these guys are going to be cutting some serious speed on the laps right now look at that on screen now you got your top set pettis thompson schemko right welton right there and we're waiting to see well they're coming through 10 bit coming through tdags sitting in uh around that fifth position right there sorry uh eighth position two daggs a bit of that eighth position yeah so this guy's getting in here look at this dylan wright diving to the inside he's been taking a bunch of insides here thompson alluded to the outside looks like dylan oh just squeezes by there and makes a pass not that often you see around the outside in this class but dylan wright forcing the issue and taking that second spot away from cole thompson now cole trying to scrub his way back into for sure but cole thompson that fight we know inside him he's going to ride all heart all passion matilda right up into that second spot now and see if he can chase down that chest pettis yeah and so look at the track you can see these guys kind of like dancing around a little bit trying to find that traction they just put some water on this track so it's a little slippery but as the motor goes on this track's gonna get faster yeah 100 a little bit tentative like you said there's so much power under that 450 it's going to be interesting to see how they can manage it out here on that track and back up into that we talked about it the technical section and look at that welton now starting to creep in there too so he might have had himself a decent lap but gotta love what we see out of jess pettis right now kind of unsure gets that start you know the confidence flowing there ain't no pain going on it's all just throttles all right hand twisted and we've seen that last year rookie jumping out front dominating the scene but right now jess pettis he's the man of the hour and he is the rookie on the scene here trying to just take this first moto win but it's so early on all right pettis little slip out coming into that roller section right there but he gets it out gets that double nice and on the way out of that so key to keeping that momentum in the right direction right now number 15 red bull ktm thor factory racing out front looking good the 15 of pettis we got to watch him this year he launched that crossband did he ever jump that thing down that far but look at that dylan wright is just hovering just hanging right there no problem he's just going to sit there and kind of wear it down yeah he's going to wear him down these guys are no stranger to each other either they've battled it out for 250 championships two years ago and here they are again in the big dog class they're going to battle over this 450 championship and we are our first moto and they're already finding each other all right look at that dylan dropping right this is where he set up cole thompson coming up not that long ago look at dylan try to swing the outside line dylan's willing to go anywhere right now he can feel the confidence within he's going to test his track see where the best lines are working he's going to try to zap jess pettis right away i have no doubt about it that he's going to try to steal this lead instantly yeah he's going to try to get that lead early jess had us looking strong here on the 450 obviously coming off that injury not much time on the bike and he's out here leading the way and like i said that start is so key getting that hole shot and just clear vision all right dylan wright haunted canada ddr fox right now trying to close that gap pettis kind of stretch it out just that little bit right there so pettis kind of maybe a little bit better in some of that tight stuff right there dylan right a little bit better once they get to that speed you know dylan wright just drops the hammer on that 450 so fast last year it'll be interesting to see how that works out in this one here but pettis right now hold it strong here on about lap number five yeah that's the one big thing about dylan wright he wicks that throttle hard he's not easy on it he's not a smooth ginger rider and look at him oh going around the outside here trying to make that pass just taking that line away jazz playing great defense shutting the door right now but dylan wright trying to make something happen getting that thing like that look at this dylan wright just wobbling down there kind of looked like fascia you got the inside move right now going to make that pass no peda shuts the door he's got to go wide dylan right on the inside dylan wright haunted canada gdr fox to the lead wow what a pass he threaded the needle there after that whoop section that number one he is no stranger to the lead here and that's why he has that big red number one all right so hanukkah gdr right now in that first position we just saw the 250 can they do it in the 450 as well that is sitting in that second spot thompson in that third spot then it's marshall welton tim trombley and here comes the carson racing fxr mx101 shawn mafia as well so sean moffamy you gotta think he's gonna start clicking off some laps and tyler medallia up into that seventh spot right now tyler must've got a bad start there goldie he's spit off the pace right early here but he's gonna charge through he's good at this track lots of scrubbing going on all over the place but back up to that lead and there it is i'm off right now and tim trump like tim trombley got to be 34 35 which is definitely an older statesman in this thing we didn't get to see him last year he got hurt no it was it was moto he got clipped and he went down in the motor halfway through oh yeah that's right that's right we didn't get to see him all the way last year that's right right to the first round so we're hopefully going to see tim bett for the rest of the series and i feel like he's only going to get better as we get into the sand ktm's got to be happy right now goldie three guys in the top five of that ktm squad we've got the two a riders and then their b squad rider of timbit tim tom tremblay looking good for the orange team and piccolo they're just in that 250 clouds as well orange and red orange and red i like that's a good kool-aid yeah it's good you mix those together you get a good kool-aid back to the race action right there on screen it is tim but oh we lost them off moth tipped over in the background so sean moffamar just went down lost a bunch of time did not lose a spot but he's back up and going but the carson racing fxr his buddy nicoletti usually has problems in that section that's true we do have videotape we have video surveillance of that crash of nicoletti back a few years of over there when he won himself uh the triple crown series that's the end of their then but fascia took the outdoor championship but now back to the lead i like what i'm seeing pedestal right get away yeah he's answering the bell here looks like he's only a half a second behind the leader and he is battling back trying to get to that lead spot again and then you gotta think being a second spot he's going to be happy with this battling for the lead if he can just settle into pace he's going to be thrilled very cool to see too these guys used to be teammates who had a 15 does a 15 or 16 when they were 10 minutes i think that ms-101 on the mx-101 squad so now both on different teams both chasing that same premier class title but i like what i'm seeing out of pens right now keeping dylan right honest and what that's doing for pettis it's helping him pull away from his teammate thompson right now so if he can kind of get in that comfort zone and just kind of stay in that pace pulling off a second place here at moto noma that's going to feel good yeah you got to keep that number one in sight as long as you can because he is slippery out there he'll get away as you see thompson go by the screen still sitting at third here's the battle back in the field looks like leitel and liam o'farrell the resident vet rider there along with madagli almost tips over as well wow what a melee of action right now so liam o'farrell loses a position at semco that's going to put him back into about 11 spot priority mechanical and ktm and fxr backing up liam right there kind of a uh poorly and we give him some love and he goes down in front of us but he'll be back up i'll bet you bunny right now he'll catch those guys towards the end of the motor yeah he will he'll track them down but uh we got to remember uh this is a shorter track than we're used to here at walt these guys are going to run into some heavy lappers because it's only a minute 45 lap time we're used to over two minutes so we shaved about 20 seconds off this track yeah it's definitely a long a lot shorter this way and very fascinating right here where we're watching lightsail and ty schemko on that kawasaki this is a very technical spot right very cool to see shenko up here in that top ten we know this kid's got to speed haven't seen him around a lot of years last year kind of got himself back in the sport looks like he's got himself in some good shape here and he's battling hard he's always done good at wall he's always liked this track i remember him as an amateur getting up on the podium as well so great to see the privates here ty schenko right now battling out with lights off yeah these guys are battling out man that chef go he's not giving light so uh an easy way around champ go get that great start but now he's pushing hard look at this you make that pass goldie the roller section light so it doesn't enter as good but exits better right there lights out a great battle on screen right here this is ninth and tenth you're watching as the boys are clicking by another lap right now ninth and tenth place right here for logan leitzel and ty schenko and not even looking so bad look at this side by side shuffle going to make that pass pass in the factory watch here is already catching them yeah it's already catch them there he's catching these guys and he's going to try to put some moves on him yeah priority mechanical fxr ktm helping out liam right there dialed mx as well doing the the wrenching and the mechanic and on there but ty schemko on the 107. i like his number i like it 107. i like it one lap ago he was passing yeah right here and look at he already caught him again so he's gonna make that pass here a little cleaner for that i lost a little bit of traction on the rear end then but you gotta i think it's just buying time there it is the pass is made liam o'farrell has gone by logan lights it right there and that's going to put liam back into that 10th position i believe there so a very familiar permission for our position for liam right there a very top ten esque rider i i can see him getting shemko i don't see him moving up farther than that though yeah so moving up the ladder there as these leaders they're just getting up to that roller section so they're putting in a gnarly pace here early on these top guys dylan right all right so back on screen it looks like this we got thompson and welton going at it right now this is going to be a good battle here welton trying to make a name for himself and saying the veteran of thompson he's not going to make it easy for the young bucks to get back oh and it looks like welton and thompson about a second a lap off the pace they're just slowly slipping off that lead battle but they got a battle on their own here with the two of them welding the rookie in this class thompson a veteran in this class and he's gonna try to make it work just try to stick it out on that podium along with his teammate but man here they come fast track here today goldie and these guys are fully pinned down these valleys all right thompson welton right now that is third and fourth you're watching on the screen little rundown on it you got dylan wright jess pettis thompson welton and then in that fifth position i believe is mafiber then it's mcdanglia then it is uh keelan messen lightsaw o'farrell and that is your top 10 here in moto number one as they keep clicking by and don't forget this is a 30 plus two compared to a 25 plus two like our 250 class cop yeah a little bit longer five minutes that's about another three laps really with the way this track is so these guys gonna do a lot of laps today and that's why i said the lappers come into play and there's a lot of tight sections where they're gonna have to maneuver and just kind of look at this chess match right here thompson getting through one he's got to get another here and it's they're heavy into these lappers already wow a lot of traffic they're doing a good job though the boys are getting out of the way blue flags waving making sure they're listening as they say right there you're the race going on and you're not in it but right now thompson has got a rear view full of that green machine thor pro circuit kawasaki huber motorsports ride of marshall welton and you know walter's gonna get strong as the day goes on for sure so just kind of give me the upgrade on on cole i don't really haven't seen much on the instagrams all that stuff how's he feeling how was he you know coming into this season coming in healthy so he's uh feeling strong and just wanting to get that first race under his belt and just get ready to get back to racing you know it's been a long off season he had one one-off race there he didn't do too well at and he's just looking to come out here strong and i think a third place i don't know if he'd be happy with it but he's not going to be upset being on the podium that's where he needs to finish and stay consistent yeah a lot of traffic really becoming an issue right here for these guys they're coming in it's pretty wild you know the guys that are running and they say the 20 to 25th position they're nearly 15 seconds slower in some of the sections some of the laps right here so these guys are carrying a heavy pace right now as they approach this backhand tail of our top 20. as he passes devin ray there a local pro that rider there stole this bike in the last lap right in front of us and uh nearly got run over by about 15 bikes so good to see him back up in this race and doing okay yeah so thompson working his way back to that double tunnel jump there the old finish line we're out here on the new finish line to step up and uh working away so many lap was there goldie this is the most challenging part of the 450 class the 250 class doesn't seem to stack up the lappers like the 450 a lot of the older guys that are still trying to make it work and ride the pro class get into this class here and it just really makes it challenging for our top guys who are are really pushing a pace look at this we got back to that battle still thompson welton right there welton time kind of makes a little bit of room then that loses a little bit right there so he's just kind of buying his time he's got to maybe start changing some lines looking for something to make it work right there we're going to get into that halfway mark here soon in this first moto and if one wants to make a move it's got to make it now jess pettis right there thompson might have gained a little bit of ground it could have been to uh lappers there as he's sneaking up and that's what thompson needs to do he needs to look ahead and not worry about that green fender poking in every other corner as welton is really looking strong here in his rookie debut all right marsha welton team green thor pro circuit kawasaki hebrew motorsports backing up the number two right now chasing down the ktm thor factory red bull ride of cole thompson and man he uh i truly i think they are starting to catch pettis a little bit here pettis kind of coming into the turn just ahead of them and both thompson and welter definitely seem like they're pushing the envelope here kyle yeah they are pushing the envelope and when you see that you're gaining on somebody that just gives you that extra little bit of motivation welton has been just taking roots from thompson and he just keeps coming back for more as they work their way through the valley section here into that tight hair pin there so thompson ain't getting his eye on his teammate but then he gets that back the rear view mirror he's got the number two all over him yeah this is going to be a battle definitely coming right down to the end and like i said you know welton's not going to give up thompson wants to get that first mode like you said out of the way to feel good about it but it's all on pettis pettis is the one we're all sort of unsure of to see if it's going to happen and right now he's proven that knee issue or not he's he's on par he's ready to go yeah he is looking strong one guy that we haven't been talking about much because he kind of got away he's about three or four seconds ahead of pettis is the dylan wright the dylan wright show it is the number one he jumped out to about a fifth place start made short order of the top guys and now he's pulling away here as thompson and welton still neck and neck here they're both just kind of freight training each other and kind of closing that gap on the 15 a little bit there's the 15 in your frame ah maybe it looks better the same look at this well now starting to make some adjustments trying to find something look at this outside light towel scrub then down to this outside line here maybe going to maybe try to make that pass around the outside no following now kind of going into the middle there's lots of options lost options yeah we've seen mcnabb making a lot of outside lines inside lines and man these guys right here welton able to stay out of the roost air in some of these corners and look at this pass wow wellness carried a whole bunch of speed right there the green machine is down but who kind of buckles himself a little bit into the corner there thompson man he's good in that section pulls it another five or six bike lengths right there yeah so pulls away a little bit and thompson he has uh his hands full there for a second but held off that pressure as they get up towards the finish line the new finish line this year halfway board is out we are only halfway through this photo it feels like we've been out here battling forever these guys looking down the track that's another 15 plus a lap goldie welton right there just sniffing he's like oh yeah i love it halfway that's all it is right now he's got so much more in the tank the kid is a beast right there one of the uh sort of underlying underlings of phil nicoletti toughness out of club mx look at this he's right on the back side of thompson but not a lot of passing we've been seeing going to this area here where they're at right now so thompson going to be able to play that defense i think it's up to that before the roller sections and up in there where welton's going to try to make something happen yeah i love what i'm seeing out of patterson well we didn't know coming in where they're going to put themselves if they're going to be front runners obviously welton had a few races under his belt some amateur races he's out here looking strong he's looking like he could if he gets a better start he could run that leader's pace oh yeah definitely he could put that pace down there and make it happen for sure dylan wright though in the lead haunted canada gtr fox second spot ktm factory red bull four racing ride of just pettis team oh look at there's a bauble did well and get him looks like he did oh around the outside he made this line work last time here is thompson going to squeeze out no side by side marshall making the pass kyle looked like thompson beat too gingerly on that lapper there welton just took full advantage dropped at the bottom of the off camera made that work now thompson is going to eat some roost here at the number two oh man the roost of this place hurts so bad as well it's this like sitting behind some guy with a a rapid-fire paintball gun just lighting you up and uh guys battling all the place but thompson right now does he have that fight back into him to try to fight back right now sitting in that fourth place a decent moto starter but i know thompson he builds on that confidence i think a fourth is not going to be what he was looking for no here we are back to our leader dylan wright he's coming by the stripe we're just past halfway we've got 15 minutes left to go here as he gets another lap in the books here looking so dominant he's got about i would say about five second lead over jess pettis now welton hammering down he's gonna try to catch number 15 here as you see jess pettis coming to the screen there it is pettis he's still pushing you can see the body english on him right there he is pushing hard i feel like he maybe saw maybe a pit board from a mechanic matt deroy they're saying you're catching a little bit even if it was only half a second or something you get that little bit of taste like we've talked about and you just start biting more into it getting a little bit of that blood in the water type thing and trying that shark and and again maybe the knee on dylan wright kind of may be starting to swell or hurt a little bit laugh or maybe made him change his line anything can happen in these long motives but it looks like pedestrian is still pushing and yeah just to make a correction on the just pedestal matt deroy is now the team manager nico i forget niko's last name oh yeah oh my bad there you go awesome job good for niko right there wow okay where's five time uh five times i think he's staying at home he might be watching us here on slow racing well hopefully he's watching and enjoying what he's seeing right now out of his rider jess pettis so very cool to see so matt duroy getting a bump in the ladder of a management good for him but the man is in a bump he's at the top of the ladder last year and he's at the top of the ladder this year the man on screen right there haunted canada gdr fox dylan wright man he looks as good as ever and at least flowing he's massaging that bike putting it wherever it needs to go the number one looks as comfy as ever kyle so talking about sunday's race we know it's only a 15 plus one lap we've just seen that halfway board come out that would have been the end of the race yeah we've seen that dylan wright can do it in any conditions so i don't think it's going to be any different when it comes sunday and those motors are shortened up yeah i got to agree it looks like he's going to be as dominant as ever and if we kind of glance over behind we can kind of cheat the system it looks like he's kind of gap that that little bit of distance that pettis might have chipped away on it right there so he's still pushing hard but uh dylan wright's trying to pull back away a little bit and pedestal i'd say it looks like he kind of maybe pulled a little bit away from martin well yeah so one two and three very quiet thompson's still right there in that four sparkle you got to be happy if you're the number one winning this race you got to be happy if you're number 15 in his rookie debut as well as the number two i don't think thompson is going to be happy fitting fourth he's going to try to creep back up here on welt and make a pass a podium would might you know put a smile on his face all right starting to wind down that motor we got a great battle actually for that fifth position just behind these guys well not just behind but tim trombley and sean moffitt are battling just off screen now and they are looking to go at it and tyler medallion not fire behind that as well so we'll try to get our cameras to catch up right now so you got dylan wright jess pettis marshall welton cole thompson then it is uh tim trombley that is sean moffamire and then it is tyler medallion right now sitting in that uh seventh position then it's meston o'farrell and ty schemko in that top 10. yeah so badaglia not the start he was looking for i want to see maybe he'll go back to a typical inside gate off the uh the line there we know he was way outside that uh first start so he got buried i didn't see exactly how he uh his jump was but definitely he'll be changing up position on gate for moto 2 trying to get a better start and put number five in position because we know he has a speed oh a little bit of an air out of number two as he gets his feet back on the pegs and i love the style on marshall welt always in the charge mode and these guys putting in laps we're 12 laps in here goldie and the lap time's a little slower than practice they're at a 149 150 151 right now we've seen in practice of 1433 wow six seconds slower yeah so that was a a lot quicker there in practice these guys slowed up a bit but we did see a lot of water put on the track these guys could feel without a bit all right give you a little run down dylan wright jess pettis marshall welton cole thompson tim trombley that's your top five shawn moffinbauer tyler medallia keelan messin liam o'farrell ty schemko top ten logan lightsell parker is ryan derry taylor sean paccini and max philippeck that's top 15. blair nada anthony spottachini yannick voucher jason burke and derek hamm inside that top 20. those are all your points paying positions right now but the man the lead at the early there 150 on that lap right there and still actually jess pettis was faster that last lap by point i don't know i actually know he wasn't sorry by point two right was faster so they're just matching each other overblown that's awesome to see jess pettis first race out here and doing what he's doing as a rookie 450 rider and new to the 450 he's never raced the 450 before he's jumping out here on a more powerful bike but you know what once you're good and you're talented and you win races that's what you do you rise to the top here awesome racing out of the number 15 as we watch the number one trying to pull away but like i said jess pattis strong first race here wow just getting a little sideways no big deal the number one getting it done and that last lap there too it uh cole thompson was a half a second faster than welton so he's not giving up towards the end of this race as well which is great to see from the number 16. and like we said he likes this place he needs to kick off this series we did a podcast earlier in the year and a lot of us had cole as that biggest against dylan but we knew that it was going to have to kick off real big here i mean you know your brother better than anybody kicking off the series is such a big thing for these guys in that mental state yeah getting off uh on the good foot leading with the right foot and uh right now jess pattis is doing just that here the number 15 red bull kcf man he is looking strong on that 450 as he drops down one more lap here and uh i don't know we could we still got a bit of ways to go i want to say these guys are going to do about a 20 lap moto it's a 14 lap so far and lots of track to go very quiet in the top four thompson kind of getting closer into that rear wheel of wealth and getting in that lap traffic right there and i wanted to point out that dylan wright uh just went over the line did a 151.0 tai shemko in 10 spot a two minute four he's about to lap tenth place in this lap so dylan wright lapping up inside of the top 10 here today kyle that's incredible the speed difference between the top 10 here and uh you know these top guys factor guys that get the train all winter put them in you know there's the local canadian guy just out here shems will ride in an absolute phenomenal race for himself probably you know a career finish and he's sitting there in that 10th but he's about 10 to 12 seconds off the lead and we got a great battle shaping up for that five six seven with tea dags at seven mafia buyer six and tim trombley in that fifth position so tim trump has got a rear view mirror full of a couple of old doggers well not older than him but a couple of veteran guys here in that 450 classes to get back to what's on screen here marcia welton thor pro circuit kawasaki huber motorsports right now looking good on the number two but uh i think coal like i said a lot last slap there cole a little bit slower compared to they kind of match it with these so the lappers really i feel like marshall got held up a bit when he was putting the charge on pettis and now he's just trying to rebound and every time he does there's more lappers he's got to deal with and uh jess pat is able to slip away yeah so that was lap 14 in the books that last time around so yeah you got to say probably right around that twenty lappas 18 19 or 19 20 lap moto and uh there they are laughing light so right there logan lights was sitting in that 11 spot so dylan right once again you can't bet against them you can't bet against the number one right here knee knee problem no matter what it is he's clicking lap after lap once again another consistent time coming in another one fifty one eight three three so yeah so the only rider right now consistently in the 150 everybody kind of spreads out typically in the 450 classics longer motors they spread out just the way it goes um but yeah just uh impressed with marshall welcome jess pettis in their debut rookie riders here on the 450s sitting two and three looking to get their first podiums here just a little bit shy off that pace of that lap there so welton coming in we gotta look to find out where that battle with tremblay and those guys right there as we look back there's dylan wright catching up to taishonko on screen but the battle into this tyler medallion has got tim trombley they're coming down into the valley right beside our score trailer tv boots right now so tyler medalia has moved himself up into that sixth position at the finish if he got that fifth does that make tyler happy is that i mean the way he's been riding lately it seems like that's not that's a bit lacking he's coming here to win or at least be in that top three echelon and he just got a bad start honestly he's got the speed we've seen it in practice he's got the fitness we know he does two hour races this ain't nothing so it's just a bad start he put himself in a bad spot all right so dylan wright going through there it was very cool ty schramko put his hand up out of the way getting that lapper here comes that second spot so you can tell right there on screen quite a gap quite a gap between them there it's about 10 seconds uh on our timing right now so dylan wright really putting in that late laps and we saw him do it last year he was winning motors by 20 seconds and making it kind of a yawn fest for us up here in the booth he's doing a bit of the same right now but it is great to see from the ktm factory red bull thor racing ride of jess pettis uh where he's at this is going to be this is going to feel good i feel like when you come off this track you're like man i said well right there i know where i'm at i know what i can fix right there and adjust it for motor number two oh pettis goes down oh shoot rider in front no he did that kind of on his own hits the rut right here ken thompson and welton how's this welcome right here welton side by side is the team green rider going to take that no how to shut the door but that's opens up this is going to be the blood in the water and that has made it interesting here the two rookies are going to go out of here late stages oh look at this welding around the outside well trying to make the move he's got the 450 guy whoa up on the grass making that pass right there uses some unique lines the number two but pattis back up the inside one more time he's gonna get that ktm power on the ground kyle no the the number two comes out in the lead right now taking over that second spot man at least it looked like he looked over his shoulder to see where the next spot was i don't know if his bike's a little twisted from that crash and now he's just feeling a little awkward on his bike but welton making that pass hey man the blood was in the water you could tell that was just sticking his teeth in yeah you see that you got down on that crouch that we like to see when guys are still riding that aggressive race out there so that battle right there welton moving in and pet is kind of losing probably that the heartbeat guy the the hearts up pumping going on we got the great battle between madags and team big going on great battle here now late in the motors pretty wild how the 450 things something like we're looks like all of a sudden beyond and then boom our heart starts beating faster because we're getting excited we'll take a nap now goldie we've got lots of racing to go and welton making that pass let's see if pettis can regroup here and bounce a comeback on the number two machine the rookie debuts for both these guys sitting 2-3 they got to be happy with this and man that's uh just a little excitement for you guys at home all right team green thor pro circuit kawasaki making that pass on the ktm factory red bull thor ride of jess pettis and uh we were just talking about how comfortable it would be to get that second now probably a little bit of frustration uh you were kind of off looking off screen there i don't think they were a lapra was there but i don't believe they connect i think jessica did that on his own we have to look at the tape afterwards but right there but pet is probably a little bit frustrated but it'll still be cool to sit and hang on to this third spot yeah though he's going to try to hang on to this boat in here lost a bit of time to welton welton just got a fire in the belly there when he seen the number 15 down and look at uh just pinned it he's taking over that second spot and kawasaki after a dismal 250 ride they got to be thrilled with what they're seeing out of uh well i gotta be happy with this this is amazing right here well we're gonna have a good start and as like we talked about the 250 moto a two is as good as a one in those races right there so clicking off those laps of our top 20 out here for the people sitting out here yeah so we got right leading the way he's got a nice gap now that uh pettis went down 17 seconds well chickens in that second spot uh 19 seconds backstory two seconds behind him is pettis two seconds behind that is thompson tremblay medaglia mopping buyer messi o'farrell schemko still holding down that 10 spot lightsail battling it out there in the 11th spot 12 parker heels dairy champacchini in 14th and uh max field peck in that 15 spot great battle up over that finish time you got to get a shot at t daggs and there it is right there trombley and tea dags going at it right here this is for that fifth position right here so a top five in this motor you got to think that tyler wants to get that right there and this is probably about the 17th round here this is the 1700th lap in their careers they fight battle each other these guys i've seen each other a lot there and that's the carlson racing mx 101 yamaha here of sean moppenbauer back on the old squad and he's looking strong but uh it's all tea dags right now he's putting the pressure on the old dog of tim trombley the gas gas chasing the ktm out here both kind of privateer efforts at the the twilight of their career and uh getting ready to go great quote out there from uh for tyler kyle cop quit has really given the freedom to do whatever he wants for racing so a lot a lot of fun you've been seeing him do a lot of stuff from off road to the the ama nationals here in the triple crown and he's got a lot more in the barrel this year so it's awesome to see him out here and he made that pass he made the pass we show a quote he gets it he gets a little bit of smoke under him makes the fire burn now that battle there for that ktm squad is neck and neck thompson and pettit for the podium spot so those guys battling just by the finish line area well there is the man of the hour the number one two laps to go a buck and a half left in motor number one here for the 450 boys for dylan wright to bring home another moto win he dominated last year what he lose one he lost like two motors right i think so he's kicking it he's still he's kicking it off once again in strong form the haunted candidate gdr fox squad is just doing such a good job for their riders first and first right here looking like in a fourth with 10 award right now the boys are happy under the red tent red tent is beaming there uh looking to make another motor win there we just seen the young youngest rider there the 15 year old of ryder mcnabb now we're looking for dylan wright to close it out he's got about a lap and a quarter left to go oh a little mistake out of the number one no big deal yeah he did that for us at home he said he's a human kyle he's trying to get the energy going he makes mistakes and again you know as a racer we've done this for years neither one of us really sat in that position where we had that pressure of a championship on hand out there but this is a slap to the competition yeah everybody heard a bad knee we saw it at the race i was at he was faking it and you know he must have been faking it yeah he gave us something to talk about what were they calling what was rocks and they were calling them a uh possum playing possum playing boss right that's what it was down in the states there but i'll tell you what he looks as good as ever right now and he's coming in one more time he's going to get the white flag here he's got one more lap about a buck 50 until he brings home another moto win there it is the number one one to go out there in an absolutely dominating fashion didn't get that whole shot got into the lead just pulled away yeah so the battle is for the ktm duo there neck and neck there thompson trying to make a pass on penis they're sitting there they're not too far behind well neither it could be a duel for that top top two spot if they get going here the ktm teammates pushing each other right up by the finish line one lap to go for that battle we watch right on screen there great battle going on i'd love to see that but back to that lead right there dylan wright all alone up front i wonder what he thinks about on the last lap of like this like i mean i was only ever in the lead one and i went in overall one time and i was just thinking about the dumbest things i'm like man i wonder how much money i'm gonna make oh i hope i can meet some girl at the bar tonight or something like that like dylan wright he's got a beautiful fiancee he's got a family plan a house and stuff like that he's got a future going on here but i always wondered what would be going through his mind on a lot like this he's done it so much he's had a lot of things going through his mind i'm sure he's just worried about like hey where's these lappers going where am i going to hit my lines look ahead i got a big lead so i can just take my time and make this thing happen and bring this one home and keep that red plate catching up the keyland messing here on us last thought madison's in that eighth position so they have lapped deep in the field right there and also mafia has now made the pass on tim tremblay on that last lap to get him into sixth position so dylan wright coming around he got about seven turns to go right there okay let's not miss the checkered flag this time boys we got to get that checkered flag all right look at that we got no uh stake there we got to make sure he gets stakes on that one for that next moto the boys going inside but welton pattis and thompson going to finish strong out here but down into the goalie coming up to that finish line just to the left of us we're getting ready to see dylan wright bring home another moto victory here it is honda canada gdr fox dylan wright bringing home 450 moto number one and we got the crowd cheering for him and i'd love to see it back to that battle here it is last lap team green thor pro stricken kawasaki marsha weldon looks like he's gonna hang on he's got two turns to go there's liam o'farrell pulling out of the way priority mechanical backing him up out of that kitchen amount so it's going to be welton pedes and back in the boat tenth place with lots of guys i can't see and see canela we've got canelo canela must have been in the mix there yeah he is he is about sixth place oh okay now please for tonight i was looking for him there i miss him going by so a much better start for marco cannella a couple riders down in the back just behind the scenes right now but look again tanner ward off to that quick start manny got the starts down right now he just got to get that confidence keep that mojo we got fourth the motor one let's see how long he can hang on to that lead because he did a great job at motor number one and it's almost the same three piccolo sinai ward one two three and then we watched mcnabb pick his way through a little bit of a struggle there sinai coming up that hill getting a little mislined in those ruts lost a bit of time but he's right there we're going to look for more addis and i this model let's see if he can stay up front longer great start to last moto he just was not able to pace uh mcnabb canela and ward as they got by so ward out front goldie and piccolo another good start here for the young rider we've seen his rookie season last year now on to that sophomore year that's what you want to see out of that young kid going into that second year like that getting that starts getting up front but look at this though canela definitely does have that better look this time here and i see you making hand for gestures what are we missing i didn't see mcnabb there maybe i just missed him on screen five six there's top six seven oh mcnabb doesn't i don't see red gear he's usually pretty easy to spot in that red gear so we'll have to keep an eye on that first lap when they cross by on a live time of this year daniel elmore a great start out of the sky racing guys there i didn't see where bannock was they got the trio there of elmore piccolo and bannock riding the the yamaha's and the ktm there for piccolo and snyde trying to make the pass look at that casey keith getting in that position great ride now to keep to keep here early on the prmx gas gas ride looking strong all right mcnabb is definitely he is way back how he is outside the top 20 as these guys start clicking by here so we are going to have to keep a huge eye on the number 18. tonight yeah so mcnabb back in the field as we follow leaders watch canelo on screen canelo now creeping up there he's going to try to put a move on uh tonight with the number 46 yamaha rider and being in the position he is it puts in a great spot for the overall so we're waiting for live time to catch up i would say mcnabb's at about 18th place and i'll tell you what when he came by this finish line his leg was flying off his bike was twisted he is going absolutely nuts right now to get himself back into it and this is where that sort of young mentality can bite these racers in the butt he just needs to relax this is where that experience of ryan locker comes into the board dude chill you're faster just take your time the experience of lockhart he's going to come in clutch here we need to take his time but he's also got to be a little bit panicked early on because that's where you can zap a lot of riders and we're going to just look down the list he's sitting in an 18th spot in the number 18. 18 and 18 right now it's gonna be interesting to see where he is on that next lap so we keep an eye on that moto one winner right now the top four already starting to peel away you gotta think right now the where 46 is sitting he's got to feel like he's the strongest guy amongst these four guys after that moto number one he was awesome he's feeling strong getting that third he knows he's faster and he got that start that he needed he passed everyone but piccolo he did catch him in the late stages just not able to make that pass so canela definitely had the train rolling last time let's even get up to speed because the track changes so much here goldie between motors they put some water down they kill some spots things change and it makes it difficult for these riders to adjust quickly 100 and one thing too i'm going to have to see right here is how shania going to react after that motor he's running up front there he kind of i guess we could call it faded back there maybe an arm pump thing just first race jitters can he rebound and maybe turn that straight around and get himself up on the box here in motor number two they're coming by the stripe one more lap here again and it is ward piccolo sinai and canelo they're pulling away casey keith's holding his own here in this spot just up at that gas gas corner and now piccolo is starting to put some moves on here he's gaining ground as well as shania and canela these guys are super tight coming up there up through that section canelo's got some smooth lines there all right the boys are up and out of right now we're just waiting for mcdowell i honestly think kyle he may have lost spots he may have crashed again as he slides by us right here we're waiting for that live timing to catch up here to see where he's at and i don't think that was a good lap for the teammate of the man leading the motor right now moto number one or two leader right now tayden ward and i'm not too sure where he's at we're waiting for it to reset there we go yeah so but on screen look at this canelo right now trying to make an early move on derricks and i he knows he needs to make that movement right here oh that off camber is playing a role there we see marshall welt make some passes in the 450 class there look at this canelo around the outside goldie okay canela is on the move he's trying to make it happen right now early on in this moto and try to slide by that team green ride of darien's tonight look at this outside he is carrying that speed and as we look at that timing right there i think we saw mcdowell 21st yeah he lost position but look at this canelo inside he's going to push him wide you bet he is there it is canelo carlson racing mx101 fxr yamaha right there into that third place right here comes the 46 cal right now as we sit piccolo would be your overall winner with a 2-2 and tanner war with the 1-4 it might trump that 3-3 it would trump that 3-3 of uh marco canelo so marco needs to get moving piccolo ward in that driver's seat all right so whoa the boys are coming right up under the wall beside us here look at this wall they're hitting right along that edge right there on your tv screen they're riding that thing it just slid right up 10 or worse slid right up on the thing and almost lost the rear end looking for every inch of this track every smooth part they can find can award lead the way canelo looking strong lost a bit of time that lap as lap times come in it looks like canelo just slid back just a wee bit there oh a little bit of a struggle piccolo getting into that big rut these ruts are deep out here all right i like what i'm seeing going on now once again welcome everybody if you're turning into the 2021 triple crown series here this is walton one round number one of our series this is moto number two of the 250 class currently leading tanner ward jacob piccolo marco cannella darius tonight and casey keith that is your top five right now as they go across the line just waiting to see where mcnabb came across that next time around see if that young lad the winner of motor number one where he came across on that timing and live timing and scoring right now young kid right there coming out winning that motor looking whoa ward's leg comes off right there not too sure what that was about but uh definitely looking like i don't know if he was trying to scrub or what that deal was there but we're having a smidge of a moment right there but piccolo looking over his shoulder in that jump one wonder where the number 46 is that's not a good sign out of the young sophomore rider here the sky racing ktm and man sinai he's looking to answer back here he's not too far off the rear fender of the 46 and see what he can do if he can rebound for that first moto that fish all right so on screen once again carlson race in fxr mx101 yamaha backing up marco canelo right here and you know a lot of us had myself even had marco canelo as my title favor just i felt like this is the year he's got to take advantage a lot of young kids a lot of unknowns he's got experience he knows how to win he's a loretta lynch champion for many moons ago and i feel like this is his year and right now he's showcasing that talent and that experience as he is he's trying to wear these guys down but i gotta like ten a word he looks good right now i like what i'm seeing at a tanner ward yeah maybe just getting that first motor out of the way knowing that it's you know maybe he was breathing maybe he got a little arm pump you never know with these guys the first moto is always the most difficult but right now tanner ward looking strong piccolo not really trying to push anything early on and uh marco canala wait till marco canelo starts getting in his groove and that's when it gets scary all right doing the mcnabb we got him up to about 19th ryden mcnabb up to about 19. so a lot of work to go for our motor one winner as he's starting to make some passes out here the young kid jitters could be like a 110 on the day or something like that a bit strange for sure but hey that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes right here as we get back on screen with our number 46 so right now you got to think this is where mark is going to start kicking into high gear yeah he's got to start getting into these yonka's heads he knows tanner ward he knows that he can get tanner ward i feel in his confidence level if he's got to pick up whoa a little mistake right there dylan wright was saying that place that part of the track is very slippery yeah so for uh canelo he's got to get by both these guys to win that overall for tanner ward if canelo slips in between he'll get the overall so this is an interesting dynamic right now we know mcnabb technically he's out he could pull off a miracle ride we could see it i'm not counting him completely out but right now it's up to canelo to pass both it's up to tanner ward to hold position it's up to piccolo to jump spot there they all got to beat one another it's going to be a great battle to the end yeah it's going to be one of those ones we got to keep it on for sure it's going to be interesting to see it could have someone have their very first ever overall in canadian soil tan award the only one that has ever done it before as you look at him right now and he's in control piccolo they're getting a bit of a swap these are the kinds of things that we saw out of jacob last year speed was unbelievable he would like wear himself out so much that he would make enormous mistakes and it would it would almost be scary he's a super exaggerated rider he uh he does a lot on the bike and maybe over exerts himself sometimes that first motor he pushes pace maybe he's feeling a little fatigued here we've seen him look over his shoulder a few times now he needs to worry about that red bike in front of him and not so much behind him that blue bike all right piccolo right there on screen sky racing fox canada ktm orange brigade trying to make himself move up right there and uh but tanner ward i like what i'm seeing out of this kid man we knew he had a bit of a injury coming in there and it wasn't really we're unsure but he's battle heart man and he's putting in solid consistent consistent laps in the 250 class is so important to how it's going to work out for you yeah this is awesome to see and uh tanner ward i don't think he's happy with that fourth he faded back a bit but to see him rebound and put himself in another great position man that's got some heart and like i said coming into this round he was the only national winner we have on that field he could double down and be still the only national down winner okay so taylor ward right here the 84 machine wearing that amateur number now this year after earning a career digit in the triple crown series from last year honda candidate gdr fox and maybe he's just thinking in his head he's like well the other boys would want some motors here i better i better get up and get mine yep everybody's pulling the weight if he can pull off this win all the first three motors are dominated by three different gdr riders all of them getting their moto wins but this guy right now looking strong through those rollers so as it stands you're figuring out it would go piccolo ward and canelo one two three correct is how this would stand right now so as they sit in the motor a little bit of a swap of their piccolo getting the overall with that 2-2 finish you got to think that that's what the mechanics say just chill out bring on the two-two bring home that overall and then move he's got a red plate yeah i think danny gal dick sky race got a red plate in the trailer he'll get the duct tape out let's go so i'll just go guy right he'll make red duct tape beautiful there's our leaders right now coming by that finish line darius and i still sniffing on the rear end of that yeah landing on the backside of that number 137 machine all right lap traffic doing a good job getting out of the way that's young josh lemire oh get out of that line josh there's a race going on and you're not in it my friend make that move getting up that live time where's jamie powell at right there jd powell what position is he in uh right there ninth place so all right so nine ten eleven mcnabb is up to 11. wow so i got a possibility in the top 20 william crait william craig where's craig at crates in seven seventh place so i'd say that's about the the limit of what it i think he could get to it's about seventh place if he keeps pushing one seven on the day solid recovery after going down on those first few laps but it's not going to give him a podium as how far uh when we tried to do the numbers actually tied that up 25 and 14 that's 39 so yeah 3-3 of canelo 40 that beats it the 1-4 is 25 and 18 which is uh 43 and then a 2-2-44 so i love when you get the bathroom he was still too he would still have i i don't think it would get it wrong though only going to get it wrong but there it is canelo he needs to make something happen yeah he needs to push the limits here and get him got the same energy as he had that first one he's still kind of sitting back but we didn't see that till the halfway where he's really started making a charge so i think he's going to wear these guys down right now i'm super impressed with tanner ward leading the way here and feeling comfortable so there it is can uh we're going to knob we found it right there the lap times we got to see a lap time on this guy we got to get some laughs out of here he has got to be going the fastest on this track no doubt about it he's no stranger to the fast laps we've seen that last year that's something he pulls off all the time no problem at all so we're watching mcnabb on screen now riding with that moto one winner out there of our first 250 moto and last time around mcnabb uh my phone's not even reset at all so we'll look at that one oh look at that oh sorry that's the tanner what that's number eighteen right there on the screen that is now into the top ten and he's got crait he's got crate now in front of him there so see if we can refresh the screen right there and get a bit of an update on our live timing to see exactly where he's at i think that puts him into that eighth position right around eight spot right now uh for this live time in this race right now so ryden mcnabb is on the gas but the man and the hour chain award still sitting up front and look at this he's starting to pull away he is pulling away piccolo is in the background there and canelo now started getting up on the end of piccolo what tanner ford needs is he needs marco canelo to leapfrog into that second spot create that buffer and points and get the overall it's all luck at this point right it's all what marco candela can do obviously markle's going to charge forward get as many points as he can but what it'll do is keep our points tight going into that free mode of format for sunday yeah definitely that's what we want to see because we know it's such a going to be a barn burner out there to see how it all works out for those guys in those three 15-minute motors we're doing something we're doing something a little bit new a little bit strange out here for the triple crown series 2021 version and i'll tell you what it's going to be a good one there on sunday seeing what happens to these guys right there and still no halfway still low halfway board kyle so maybe probably one more lap till we get that halfway board lots of laps and tonight hanging in strong there in that fourth spot but tanner ward the man of the hour slowly pulling away from piccolo he's got about a two to two and a half second lead and then look at him hitting those ruts looking strong there piccolo and canela now making that charge canelo making that push and he can be the difference maker all right warty scrubbing down that step down like he's done so many times in his career leading the way probably having flashbacks last year but it's not so muddy feeling good getting the flow and uh like you said he's pulling away and like there it is canelo right now pushing the envelope and like you said if he makes that pass ward gets your overall with 4-1 moto scores just like last year yeah like 401 scores yeah miriam is there the new the number 84 there his career number tanner ward lead the way but this is the battle on screen piccolo getting tracked down by the veteran of this class still young guy he's only like 20 21 marco canelo and he's gonna try to chase down the number 30 of jacob piccolo all right whoa tough to find traction now the boys are getting right down to the hard pack and the beef of this stuff right now so it's tough to find traction for all these riders i kind of hope it sticks a little bit this way to make that podium a little bit easier when we get up there as far as doing the trophies and the presentations and all that good stuff but i i would also like to see this this past the inside of marco canelo get that strength in there and make this pass on this young kid right now he does not like getting beat by the youngsters because he used to be that guy and now he's kind of this veteran in this class you want to see him take that take that pass and make something happen here man he's pushing the limits oh lob traffic slowing piccolo down just a little bit there maybe yeah not too bad that's ibro darrell she'll know what to do she knows that she's a true professional yeah he's pulling sny right along with him there you see the 157 just in tow as they come up for another lap in the books that's it yeah maybe darius and i found that little inner speed to kind of catch back up right there so great job right there i love it i'm seeing two still in that fifth place position still casey keith in that fifth place spot so live time he seems to be having a bit of a smidge i think that's one two three tonight going around the outside he passed three lappers right there what a smart line so keiste bennek elmore and then mcnabb so five six seven he's up into that eighth position so very cool to see what's going on with mcnabb up into that seventh spot but back up to that first top position right now piccolo just riding strong because that's very strong in this section over here able to pull up the back side of piccolo he's going to try to make a move he did this to sny early in the moto had some good lines here back and forth oh little mistake out of piccolo he is all over that rear fender skyrim out there canelo able to get by that lapper just a little bit better right there taking the same line i know going even inside no taking the same line in this turn derrick's tonight still right there as well this is going to be a great ending to this race so tonight he finished fifth in moto number one not really a podium threat even if he gets one of these guys it's gonna be all these three guys right here but mcnabb's still sitting eight and one right now on that thing still he needs a bit of luck he's a couple more positions yeah not going to make as many points this second moto but he's still pawn his way up if he gets up to fourth that's kind of where it's the gray area because obviously tanner with that 1-4 as well so he's got to get third pretty much to get this overall all right so on screen warty up over top of the finish line no problem wow canelo is on the gas look at this up the inside he's gonna try to make that push piccolo opens up the door canelo not able to slide right through right there piccolo hanging on for the meantime kyle this action is hot wow this is where we always see canelo pick up his pace and look at he's making that pass around the outside he's got him what a pass marco canelo into that second spot that's going to give him second overall in the day and here comes darion sinai yeah piccolo making a mistake just after he got passed by canela so piccolo make that mistake he's still in that third spot but snide all right here wow there we go probably up to about 20th maybe 20 seconds so i don't feel like that's far enough no it isn't not in this field because they lap up to about fifth place here and these guys are out here buzzing around the ktm squad yeah there is right there on the field screen there look he's just knifing through the pack wow so dylan wright and ryan mcnabb going down on the first lap of their respective motors after the one so we're going to see what dylan wright is but now dylan wright is the veteran he's kind of going to laid back just take his time he'll get it up like atm's up yeah the orange brigade yeah we got now we're going like i said orange and red makes a wonderful kool-aid a delicious kool-aid if you mix it together pattison grabbing that second whole shot strong and uh trouble is gonna be one of those guys right now he's getting like i'm just gonna go for it for the first like five laps yeah and then sort of see where he fits in and you might just kind of i feel like he did that of course the first first moto where he put himself in a great position and he battled for that top five there's welt just behind him so these ktm's holding back that kawasaki of marshall welton and like you know too a little bit of wetness on the track right now they did some water in there that's probably why dylan lost that front look at taramba though trying to make a move around the outside scrubbing wow plus scrub right there oh yeah oh thompson though gonna go around the outside he's gonna make it work no trouble up the middle thompson try to swing get that drive on that ktm double ktm's going kind of a private whoa tim making a mistake there ten bit blowing out the berm right there now opening door for well a lot of action on lap number one here kyle yeah thompson i think he seemed tim and he's like no way the the b squad could pass me obviously uh tim trombley on the b support look at him looking over again these ktms are going at it early on tremblay here you can throw a tarp over these guys thompson trying to get around he's going outside of his teammate wow a little bit of slippage there is it's so troubling loses the front wheel like right did so our two top contenders right now throwing it away weldon getting on the track there properly making sure he doesn't do anything wrong they're so welton right now losing that all-important lead or all-important podium spot only lost one spot i believe in the to uh tremblay but now it's still back to the three ktms one one or one two three so hopefully welton can get himself back into this race and uh battle on but dylan wright not far behind here he's on the move he is going to be flying through the pack there he came by a 155 the leaders are only 154 so he's not losing much time here thompson trying to make the pass on his teammate pettis right now being a bit of a look at this pass what a setup by thompson did he make it work no late breaking yes he's got the drive cole thompson his first lead at 21 but no maybe pettis are on the outside now what a battle between teammates here but thompson solidifies and he moves over it blocks that thing the veteran move one lap ago he was getting passed by tremblay the next lap he's passing for the lead so good ride out of there thompson that last lap to getting himself in the lead now he's got to run high because we know the number one's coming the number two is coming those guys will be searching plus his teammate ain't gonna let up easy oh look at this and the two right behind here he's already back in the third and the one is also got by trombley as well so the boys have already made the moves on the fellas moving up front right now thompson pettis and welton one two three and dylan wright already up into that fourth position kyle so dylan wright is on the gas so 152.9 for thompson 155 157 and 153 for your champion and that's dylan right on screen right now you should see this lap here i think this lap here to see if he can either put a move in or really put a drop that time to try to catch up to the boys here for moto number two and try to get that overall as it would stand right now i think it would be thompson would grab the overall right with a one four actually no one it would be pettis welton sorry welton three two i don't even know no no it's the same scenario yeah okay so it would be sitting in thompson's favor at the moment man we are early on we're about five minutes five six minutes into this forefront yeah look at this look how fast he's coming into his corner speed getting right up on the edge of the track there even the rough lines a little dirty dancing going on in the rear end of the gdr machine well no now he's going to look back and he's going to see the one and so he's going to have to drop the hammer to try to catch up to the guys in front of them now you think that these guys could kind of almost work together and car racing and draft each other big time when welton gets somebody in front of him he tags on to him he's so good at that to be able to match pace so if he gets passed by dylan wright it's going to help him in the long run almost like drafting and car racing he's just going to pull him behind and just go his pace all right into the rollers here no problem dylan right the number one doing exactly what he needs to do up over the bottom end of that thing the two out is the fast way look at that carrying that speed right here so both these guys had crashes on lap one and lap two and here they are battling for that i wanna say that by the stripe here welton and uh right are gonna be the fastest lap times of this moto here we go going by the stripe again here we'll get some lap times that's the scoring of time it reboots 152 for the leaders 151 and 150 just like i said these guys are pulling up and it it's the cowie and the honda of welton and right and they're going for it all right so dylan wright our 2020 champion on the rear end of our 2020 250 rock star triple crown champion and uh now he's on the move yeah welcome like you said you can see it he can he's feeding off what he's hearing in behind and he's pushing that envelope but he's kind of closing in on pettis and cole right now he needs to start trying to check out somehow but i don't know if he's you said he's feeling comfortably strong enough does he have that three or four laps to just throw it out and hang it right now and try to pull away i don't know to be honest he's not matching the pace of these guys pushing up the tail end although uh wright's got to pass two fast guys to get to that lead pack which he's more than capable of doing it we've seen in the first moto little mistake out of welton there but this pack all in that one stretch there the amber finish line all right so the boys right now oh driving it in hard right there with dylan right right now and it's it's looking like these outside lines are really starting to lose a little bit of their love that they had in that first moto because now it's so dry out there that it's kind of pushing away and not giving that chance he's got to carry it in although dylan's man he ever hammered the right there yeah he's going everywhere he's seen dylan right he hasn't taken the same line twice here he's just working this track he's gonna find a line because he's working these lines to make a pass later on he knows he's gotta pass three guys he's got to find some special wise out there exactly yeah those guys are taking those main ones right now look at this though pattis right back on the road brother oh actually yeah it's hard to tell with the numbers but he made the pass somewhere there jess pettis is now up in the lead ktm red bull factory throw racing one and two but pettis now actually and look at this welton is right on the rear end of thompson and lost a little bit right these guys are just see-sawn right now on the track yeah i'm not sure what happened to thompson there made a mistake but it looks like now welton up beside thompson he's gonna make the pass so thompson goal from first now back to third wow he's gonna have to reboot here he's going around the outside you got him on the inside turn here maybe push him wide get a little aggressive no it wealth unable to shut the door so weld in great position for this overall the way it sits he has the overall in the bag but obviously wright is going to push up there it's going to take a win for welton to get this overall all right and the podium right now as it would stand it would be thompson just off of it with pettis welton and right and it would sit as uh pettis right now would hit that overall with a 3-1 compared to a 1-4 and a 2-2 so uh still again like the 250 class getting a little crazy but still down to a four-pack yeah right not getting set down to a four pack so there we go right trying to push up he's lost touch and weld a bit that's how good welton is actually going out here he's got some pace to catch pettis now wright has to get by thompson and try to get back on pace with well all right so there we go dylan right now trying to make moves using all the lines all the possibilities to go let's get a little run down kyle if we got there maybe top 20. so pettis making that pass back into lead uh welton thompson right a mopping buyer tremblay slipping back messing schemko look at this pass let me stop you kyle yeah your brother might be getting him oh wow he was faster he really let that one easy up right there on the dylan right no problem there for dylan wright moving into that third position so there we go ty overall right oh here we go pass the lead wow welton coming in hot is he going to steal that lead from pedestal pettis shutting the door same move that thompson did on pettis earlier so wow atm slipping back here there the early lead now welton the kawasaki rider pushing the envelope to using every bit of this track on the edge of it the michigan native right to the outside great line there at a weld uses knocking that stake right out of it he's gonna go inside here and make this pass work is this where it ends no jess pettis great speed around the outside right there these two battled hard for the championship in the 250 class column here they are right now for the 450. does well we got the drive up to the double tunnels for the meantime hanging on yeah good move there by pettis protecting that inside but look at the lines on welton sweeping in everything then you got the number one in the shadows there waiting to pounce yeah dylan wright is pushing hard right now and definitely the fastest man on track and uh but weldon he is all over the place he wants to make that pass he knows that dylan is behind him he needs to make it now and try to put some distance in and use pettis as a buffer to try to pull away yeah it looks like a lapper just getting out of the way of wright and welton as they get up that off-camera jess pattis holding down this lead he's got a lot of heat coming up behind him all right so the boys are looking through right now no problem pat is still leading the way pet is swinging really wide here kyle maybe not getting the drive no he does well loses a bit of that rear end and then we're gonna see the number one right here into that back end as well these guys are setting a torrid pace at the front of the pack right now but i love what i'm seeing out of pettis right now so unsure of what we were going to get when it comes in and the speed endurance everything seems to be there wow now dylan wright picking up dylan right now making a pass as welton was going to go powerful the lead oh no oh well down again awkward crash there he's up awkward spot to go down he's got to pick that up here he's got to steal back that position for cole thompson if he wants to get that wow that was a weird weird crash there for welton but he is back going just in front of motherfuyer so he's in fourth fight see if he can rebound another charge there two crashes welton was pushing it he wants the win here in canada now these guys no strangers to each other these guys have battled it out for championships in the past and they're doing it again here today yeah we saw it in motor number one where dylan wright was able to pick his way through a little earlier on but jess pettis leading a lot longer here in moto number two feeling the flow on that red bull thor ktm ride right here the number 15 leading the haunted candidate gdr fox of dylan wright and uh you got to think though that dylan wright he's got a little something on the sleeve he's only going to get stronger as the motor gets longer here and and we haven't even hit that halfway point yet dylan wright's actually losing the side panel there oh yeah a little bit of time this is uh number one falling off there he's just going so fast bolts are flying off that thing just blowing the plates off it blowing the plates off but now that we got a little bit of break in the ash get that 20 top 20 roll here we got in there yeah we got pettis right thompson just taking that spot when welton went down welton into fourth mafia tremblay meston schemko medaglia back in that ninth spot looking to come through o'farrell eels leitzel we got derry burke boucher champakini del air philippe nada and uh devin ray there rounding up the top 20. right so kind of looks like he's fighting the bike just a little bit right now and uh maybe pushing that envelope just a little bit too hard and people just hit something on the side there maybe it's from that early crash because his bill uh you can see his boot buckle loose there too yeah as well so yeah much of that you know what he did go down on that side when he went down right now yeah it was right behind us here where we're sitting so that could have been it look at the lap traffic heavy lappers here they split the right between them all dylan wright getting a little bit of the handout on that lap traffic side of things so we're gonna see how the rest of this plays out as they hit that finish line one more time dylan wright is all over the back end of this and welton now already lost the rear end of or sorry lost at the back end of moffenbeyer and he's trying to click by and gets back up to thompson this would still give welton a third overall of the day with a 2-4 score compared to a 3-4 score of thompson so uh overall thompson getting in the moto is going to feel good but we still give walton on the podium i saw those guys sitting in that third and fourth there great shot of the lead pack here and like i said these guys have battled it out before they're no strangers to each other right looking to find that lying around there pettis a good rebound after getting passed by thompson able to get back in that lead jess pattis looking outstanding on this ktm red bull factory thor racing ride right now his first 450 national of his career and he's got the man of the hour the man that can't be stopped right now in the rearview mirror and he's holding his own he's doing well i feel like it's a matter of time but pettis is doing a great job right now and it's not he's not riding over his head either it looks super smooth and smart yeah very smart very calculated line dropping into the right he likes to use and just smooth out there where dylan writes he'll go anywhere he'll just hold that throttle pin so he got a bit of a yin and yang out here and man is it lining up to be a great battle all right the 15 and the one right now at the front of the pack the rest of the boys look at this so dylan wright loves this section this is where he makes his whoa got a little bit frontal shift a little bit of a scare check the shorts on that one as my old buddy chaz used to say this is that line though dylan wright used it to get by well is he going to make it work again no pettis man he is so consistent in these deep ruts yeah there you go let's get that lapper out of the way that's whoa 451. nick jones right there playing a little bit of a factor he got himself out of the way though they're back in it halfway halfway board is that oh my god it feels like a lot forever this right here would be the 15 minute mark yes on sunday so pettis would be the moto winner yeah he would have so there we go thompson of stuffed it there kyle kind of stuffed it on the exit yep so here we go different lines for these guys though it's awesome to see wright mixing it up trying different lines that's a great one right there in the middle and now he goes back to the inside oh drag race side by side heading up into the old pro fish line dylan right around the outside wow wow and then scrubs his way into another hemisphere with that one there let's see what pesky do pettis has done an amazing job today here holding court and showing that he is going to be a factor in this 450 series let's see if he can stay with the number one right now and just kind of say you know what you are the fastest but i'm going to stick with it and look at this wealth and now back on your little bro yeah so that's a well on thompson here as they go for the natural so the battle for third is on we're just seeing those leaders go by and wright get that pass but now see if well uh welton can get up here because it wouldn't make a difference right it would uh he would still get that third regardless of the position he needs to pass penis to get that second overall exactly yes this would give pettis a second overall a little mistake by welton right there he gets back on well what a fight what a fight he's putting up in this motor crashing twice right now what could have been if he didn't hit that dirt yeah twice there looked like an awkward crash too he was able to just bounce right back up resilience in this kid is unreal and he's definitely got the pace to win a moto he's just got to keep it all together as these guys get ready for that uh that nine pack of rollers we've seen dylan wright blazing those things earlier marshall welton carrying good speed in there carrying that front wheel back to that outside line uh no inside now finding that line we're right past the following cold conqueror right now the factory ktm red bull thor racing ride versus the team green thor kawasaki uh hubert motorsports backing him up and like i was going to say about right and then he makes that pass this position is frustrating for that rider that's behind right now it's ruth it hurts it's not really that funny you're trying to make you just got to force that issue yeah it's it's not fun being in that position trying to hold that pace but it's also not fun getting roosted i'm sure wants to make this pass quick he's really fast in his valley section right here yeah this is where the pass was made earlier on right here cole opening the door to weldon right there but playing that great defense game against side by side that spot up pretty simple on that one i feel like cole might be dealing with something a little bit this mode he's not the same guy four or four on the day not probably what he wants but he's gonna he's gonna hold court right here come aiming out on sunday yeah looking like he's just not himself here at walton losing a bit of pace to the leaders but uh you gotta regroup you gotta get back at it welton on pace right now if he had to suck it up on two wheels he would have probably been battling for this win but he's back here kind of in no man's land and third he's got a lot of room to make up on pettis all right so welton now up into that third spot so again just like our 250 class one two three in this motor would be one two three overall for the day here kyle yeah so there's dylan wright he's starting to pull away he's got about a four second five second gap now over pettis so putting the hammer down as we don't see padded there wow he really dropped pettis there he's really showcasing the speed that dylan wright has right now in this series to open it up and uh looking to bring home another overall and uh that would be a clean sweep for the showing because pettis is keeping him honest yeah so tyler running a decent pace at 154 those bad starts for tyler is really what cost him and he's just going to uh have to regroup for that 15-minute motor he definitely needs starts in those as we watch right house through that uh nine pack of rollers so up down that's great sorry i just went across there where's shemko they're in 9 10. all right so farrell just passed shemko semco's got to be like man get this old guy just leave me alone already like come on they battled all motor number one as well but here they come the leader's coming up hanging in tight here pettis is not making this easy for dylan wright he wants a piece of that red plate all day long he's scrubbing he's looking energetic he could battle back here in no time yes and well we've seen mistakes out of dylan right right now the possibility that he could do it again ryan derry making his move getting out of the way right there for jess pettis good job on the 26th ride dylan right though carrying that speed though dylan right now just edging out just a little bit now maybe about two seconds kyle so pettis might have just run out of a little bit of steam here late in this moto as we're really getting down the sun's coming down into the rise there's lots of shadows out there on the track but this is the trickiest jump right there they're jumping right into the sun you know that ride in the trans scan yeah late motors right into the sun there yeah i want to say this might be one i know right around here would be the last moto at that trans cam right around now 646 local time here welton is gaining some ground here i don't know how much he can do he is gaining some ground wait till the scoring and timing recoups but it looks like he's down a couple seconds there on the leaders i don't know if he's got enough time to do it if he can chip away at this but man he's definitely riding a good pace as the leaders are battling it out for that topic he's got just a little bit of anger inside him on that one right there and a little bit of anger for sure about that young kid out there but he's battling hard like you said dylan wright all heart right there never giving up but yeah let's see what welton i'm sorry we're talking about marsha weld chasing down they're very similar guys they're just tough out their toughest nails and they let it all hang out to try to make it work so see how this pans out for these guys as dylan wright drops down one more time coming in beside the tv booth one more time pettis losing a little bit right there and welton now he's got to be about eight eight nine seconds back so a good gap for pettis right there and that would give him second overall today yeah that's a great start that's gonna be happy with that two hole shots two two one two road shooting.com hole shots there so he's gonna get himself a little extra payday and and opening up with a 3-2 day is going to make him feel good up on the podium right there so blue flags waiting to get those lappers out of the way right there the boys stick by there's cole thompson coming over the finish line beside us but hana canada gdr fox ride red today it apart right here now kind of getting into that yawn mode he's wore the rest of the crew down out here and uh but pettis is he is impressed me today i gotta say that i like what i see out of this young kid i've always been a fan of him ever since he was an amateur coming out of prince george and it's good to see where he's headed and uh you know we knew dylan wright was going to be the man but he is definitely being the man right now but this kid is he fit way more honest than i was going to uh than i would have guessed i'm impressed with both him and uh welton today uh well obviously having a few incidents there he's trying to battle back but the raw speed of welton is just remarkable right now he is really laying down some good lap times and able to uh match the pace of the leader of dylan wright just having some incidents that cost some time all right marshall welton clicking by no problem right there let me see uh pedestrian we're going to see lights oh he's a lap down and there is welt he's slowly creeping up in there he might be the fastest rider on track right now yeah what was that last lap time when he clicked by there was it how far was it going through not not refreshing on on that page let's see if we can get a link up status link says it's good well that last lap time of welton was a 151 compared to a 154 so he is he's still 10 seconds back though i believe right now on that pace so he's got a lot of room to make but that was a three second lap or is that an old flap i see that's an old okay my bad don't worry about anything a lot we're having issues with that live timing nothing new in our canadian series all these darn races out in the middle of the field so hard to get our internet working properly and making sure it's good got to get us to some boosters but it doesn't matter because it's getting boosted right now by the number two team green thor pro circuit kawasaki sitting in the third spot and then flash up to the leader right now just doing his thing yeah right there for a nice friday cruise yeah no it's a good ride now the number one the number two i'm curious to see if weld can put on this charge continue this charge and there we go back to the fourth place rider of cole thompson as he works his way through some lappers kind of in no man's land as well and he's got bob meyer in the fifth spot so thompson just going by that country corners stepped down there on the flats and this is the 450 class in a nutshell kind of spreads out people find their pace and we don't have much racing going on especially when it comes to a track like this it's so hard to battle with the way the roost kicks on yeah there's a good shot of factory ktm red bull thor racing rider cole thompson out there sitting in that four spot a bit of a quiet day but still had a little bit of fight him and some moments there i mean you know your brother best what would his takeaway be with to be honest with you i'm wondering if he is struggling with the track or bike setup because that could be some issue i know he dealt with leading into this from the last race he raced into paula so i kind of followed was a little bit deeper but a similar type of a similar thing and i know it was a lot to do with his bike set up and not feel comfortable but uh right here great shot on screen sean moffin buyer quiet day for him as well he's sitting in fifth on that carlson racing um i want to say husqvarna but it's car lazy yeah mx101 yamaha yeah those guys did a great job into that sixth position tim trombley still doing a good job tim trombley having a great ride there keelan meston just behind him in that seventh spot so teammates sitting five and seven right now i think eighth spot is uh tyler medallia and nine is nine is still shemko and and uh el faro or so apparently battle yeah so often buyer looking strong here he's back on a familiar team working for uh fx101 kind of where he finished at the opening round last year he was like six four six i think he got better and better than any podium although the last three rounds right so yeah he was a battle right but you know what a bit of a shortened series there he's got to be more aggressive he wants to be in that title this is a lot of points being lost here on round number one if you're trying to be in that talk of championship exactly here as we get back to right leading the way and uh wait for that to board to come out it looks like it's gonna come out possibly this lap here goldie so it's gonna be two board in hand as right he's got two more corners to this checkered flag line finish line area these guys go down that road up and down one more time lap traffic on the screen right there waiting for jess pettis and welton has made up some time the battle right here well on screen wow he's within three seconds of jess pettis so lots of times to be made and that's for second overall that is that's good points right there that's a 2-2 on the day that's a shift from going down from six points to eight points from a two-two day so this is a big lap right in the way here jess pat is coming up in that horseshoe jump we see you well on screen so lappers could come into play well or sorry pettis able to get through no problem looks like the 45 of damien lucas and looks like maybe rebel there mitch rempel the two lappers getting out of the way good job by them yeah this is going to be an all at war right here between these two titans last year we saw them go at it a few times in that 250 class and here maybe in the late in the day we're going to see welton do it again so impressed by the number two out there and uh but i still kind of give so much love to the pettis basically been on the bike about a month or so maybe not even that and out here doing exactly what he needs to do to keep himself in that title hunt chatter so good to see in those shadows lurking there oh man look at the shadows coming out here so late in the day we're almost at seven o'clock here late in the day but we didn't start the race until three here so we're right on schedule at about a four hour schedule for that four model format welton though still pushing right now dylan right way up front but welton is still pushing the envelope here kyle do you think he's got it do you think he can catch him he's made up a lot of ground here and that momentum is just going to carry out it's the next next lap is white flag here coming out goldie so he is running out of time to make the move he's gonna have to make some crafty lines here but man he is within a second and a half of pettis here coming up to the white flag all right so we see dylan wright dropping down on screen right there that is your champion that was your motive one winner and he is looking to bring home a 1-1 on the day welton now has got it down to even more maybe maybe oh yeah he's got it down another half a second that lap here this is going to be an awesome way to finish right here dylan right white flag one lap to go here folks one lap to go look at that they're almost on the same jump there goldie he is right in tow here and he's going to look for this second spot just getting some valuable points they're sticking to all the same lines every single lap well pushing it inside no not going to make anything happen here side by side coming out of this thing inside taking that same line man he is right on the rear wheel here kyle it is opportunity knocking and he's trying to knock it down welton is the most aggressive guy on the track this moto he's had some incidents he's fought back and now he's all over the rear fender the ktm rider it's looking good all right it is the factory ktm red bull thor ride first to team green thor kawasaki pro circuit huber motorsports half a track to go dylan wright in the lead in control this is the battle on screen for second spot and second overall on the day the 15's got it and the number two wants it couple of rookies here this yeah a couple of rookies to the 45th but this section here not much going on usually here right now it's what's coming up is where welton seems to be kind of making that pace and making the difference yeah so dylan wright just in front of these guys he was just one stretch away oh a little mistake out of pettis going wide on that jump pedestal swinging a little bit wide here welton up the inside getting that drive wow welton really diving it in here kyle into the road boys has been good perez he gets that section dynamite right there good way to finish it off three more corners to go he can hold on oh well getting a good drive up that inside here we go dylan wright just ahead of these guys the final turn we're going to watch this battle you can see dylan right right there one turn to go says welton have something up asleep can he make it happen with one turn to go gonna try to dive on the inside oh he's going for it pops the rod pettis is gonna hang on dylan wright takes the win jess pettis in that second spot marshall welton what a warrior bringing home the third one two three in the moto that is your overall what an absolute beauty what a great ride kyle what a great opening round of the triple crown series yeah what a job there by the rookies welton clearly the fastest on track there he tracked those guys down and just a little too late there late in that moto he's going to get that third overall the third the moto and dylan wright he's your winner 1-1 on the day jess pettis second overall he's going 3-2 welton uh 2-3 and thompson 4-4 top five going to at walton one and what a day we had it was all red like aldi says the gdr squad went one and one on the day tanner ward getting another national uh win put that uh up to two dylan wright adding to his stack of wins he's already got and he's got that one big number one with the red plates he's gonna keep that but we're gonna see the 84 with the red backgrounds another couple key points here jess pettis uh marshall welton the rookies strong in that 450 class as well as the rookies of benic and mcnabb in that 250 class so we're gonna keep an eye on those guys as we go along but man lots more racing this is just round one we have plenty of rounds to go we got the saturday or sorry the sunday race here coming up the sprint motors and they are going to be they're going to be bar banging and we've seen that early on how dylan wright was able to bounce back after a bad start get himself in the lead in that first 15 minutes but can he continually do it as these guys get better as the series progresses we're gonna find that out tanner ward he got amazing starts he's put himself in a great spot for that sunday three moto format 15 15 minutes plus a lap those are those guys we're gonna keep an eye on ryder mcnabb can he bounce back from what we seen today a win and then a crash and he got up to a fifth place so obviously has the speed to take the overall can he get his first overall on
